We're going to talk about why he's doing that, and we're going to look at some of the things he said in that interview, which actually are just infuriating to those of us who understand what's really going on and the amount of crimes this man has committed against this country and the amount of crimes his own family members have committed, not just against this country, but against their own family members. which actually are just infuriating to those of us who Sick stuff.
We're going to talk about it all.
Plus, we're going to cover a bunch of other news stories.
We're going to get updates on retailers seeming to indicate there's going to be a major downturn ahead, and that's by their own.

We're going to talk about the upcoming elections, how not only is the Republican Party being sabotaged from within by a feckless rhino Republican neoconservative set of individuals, but what they're going to try to do to rig 2022 again.

Biden has declared that the COVID pandemic's over.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, despite continued use in policies and programs, according to him, it's over, okay?
What don't you get?
He said it's over, but we still have emergency use authorization, you know, for the vaccines.
And it's over, but, you know, you still need to wear masks and socially distance and go through lockdowns.
It's over because he said it's over, okay?
And if you don't get that, I don't know what's wrong with you.
It says about a year and a half too late to the game, Joe Biden finally admitted in a Sunday broadcast interview with 60 Minutes that the COVID pandemic is over.
Apparently in the ever-teetering mind of Joe Biden, the prevalence of mass was a measure of the prevalence of COVID. Of course, this all depends on where in the U.S. or the world you have been living.
Let's watch him explain in his own words.
Mr.

Is the pandemic over?
The pandemic is over.
We still have a problem with COVID. We're still doing a lot of work on it.
But the pandemic is over.
If you notice, no one's wearing masks.
Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape.
And so I think it's changing, and I think this is a perfect example of it.
Okay, so the corrupt, child-molesting, treasonous traitor has just told us, because nobody's wearing masks, we're apparently out of the COVID pandemic.
Alright, good.
Good to know.
So, you know, that's where we're at with that story, and, you know, it's just insane to think where we're at, where it's still that...
They're saying the pandemic's over, but they're not lifting any of these crazy policies.
They're still having us, you know, go get vaccinated, emergency use authorization vaccines, the experimental ones.
Yeah, that's great.
I'm sure you're going to, you know, do well with those.
I mean, and then on top of that insult to injury in last night's interview, Joe Biden insists that his scandal-plagued Hunter, a son Hunter, did not cause any conflicts for U.S. omits the video of Hunter and his hooker smoking crack and discussing stolen computer by Russians.
Yeah, let's watch.
And a difficult life for the president.
In 1972, he lost his wife and daughter in a car accident.
He lost his son Beau to cancer in 2015 at the age of 46.
And his son Hunter has been a lightning rod for suspicion.
Hunter Biden's former addiction to crack cocaine led to a life he describes as non-stop depravity.
He has also acknowledged a federal investigation into his taxes.
Congress investigated Hunter Biden's job with a Ukrainian company at the time that his father ran Ukrainian policy in the Obama administration.
A Republican investigation, however, uncovered no wrongdoing by then Vice President Biden.
Mr.
President, if you run again, Republicans are most likely to go after your son, Hunter, once again.
And I wonder what you would like to say about your son and whether any of his troubles have caused conflicts for you or for the United States.
I love my son, number one.
He fought an addiction problem.
He overcame it.
He wrote about it.
And no, there's not a single thing that I've observed at all that would affect me or the United States relative to my son, Hunter.
Okay, I beg to disagree with the child molesting commander-in-chief, supposedly Joe Biden, because we have ample evidence.
We've gone through it in detail on this show.
We've shown you clips from the laptop.
We've shown you conversations and emails on the laptop.
We've shown you pictures from the laptop.
We've shown you text message conversations proving that their own family members were worried that Joe Biden's son was molesting his niece, right?
And they had to keep her away from him because of it.
And then we have Ashley Biden, Joe Biden's daughter, writing in her own diary that she was being molested possibly by her father with inappropriate showers, not to mention the ample evidence of corruption and bribery that was coming from all over the world from our foreign adversaries like China and Russia and everywhere else from Ukraine, the money laundering operation that was being run through there.
But there's nothing there.
He loves his son.
It's just crack addiction.
It's just a little bit of crap.
What don't you get, guys?
It's just a little bit of crack.
But I love how the fake news is literally running the biggest cover-up op ever for this guy.
This child-molesting corrupt criminal, Joe Biden, and his whole family of sick criminals.
Did you see how they played that?
He lost his wife at age, and his son died of a brain tumor in 2015.
It's like they paint this whole picture to be like, oh, I feel so bad for Joe Biden.
Now look, I don't wish this kind of stuff on anyone.
But I hate when the fake news uses this stuff to mislead the American people, and then they give him this softball question and be like, Joe, do you think that Hunter Biden's laptop's going to be an issue for you going forward?
And he's like, I love my son.
He had crack problems.
Everybody can relate to a drug problem in the family.
Yeah, maybe, but not a lot of people can relate to, I don't know, full-scale treason and child molestation and things that were happening that are insanely criminal that nobody in our law enforcement, our DOJ, or our news want to talk about or even remotely have any investigations into.
It's almost like they are all criminals trying to cover up for this criminal enterprise.
But this is another exchange.
Maria Bartiromo and Miranda Devine here talking about how the FBI has just failed the American people every step of the way and that these FBI whistleblowers, which thank you.
If you're out there in the FBI and you haven't decided to blow the whistle and put your career up on the line for this, you need to wake up.
Pull your head out of the sand.
If you're not in this corrupt cabal, Then you're abetting it.
Your silence is complicity in these crimes.
This crime family that has seized control of our country for this globalist cartel who are involved in treason, literal treason, if you're still protecting them, if you're raiding Mar-a-Lago, if you're waving whatever pride flags and pretending that you haven't politicized your office and all this psychotic stuff that's going on inside the FBI right now, Then you're a part of the problem.
You're going to be just as guilty when this all comes out.
Because it will come out eventually.

But it will come out in the public's view.
They will see this stuff.
Because there's too many of us.
There's too much truth.

I know you are continuing your work reporting on the FBI's via the whistleblowers.
What can you tell us about when the FBI became so politicized and what do you see as the story around this raid of President Trump's home?
Look, I mean, I think that like a lot of people on the left and the sort of squishy right, it was the election of Donald Trump in 2016 that sent them over the edge and the FBI is now shameless about its partisanship.
uh, that includes the raid on Mar-a-Lago unprecedented.
It includes the fact that, uh, they've been soft peddling on Hunter Biden, despite the fact that there is so much evidence, not just from the laptop, but from his former business partners of wrongdoing, not just of Hunter Biden, but implicating his father, the sitting president and his uncle, Joe Biden's but implicating his father, the sitting president and his uncle, Joe Biden's younger Uh, so it's so obviously, um,
A partisan situation in the FBI and the DOJ where federal law enforcement has been weaponised against one side of politics and that's not just looking from the outside, that's whistleblowers who are coming forward at the moment in a trickle but it looks like, from what they're telling me, this is a flood.
There is widespread disquiet in the FBI and the DOJ.
And it was really brought to a head with that Mar-a-Lago raid.
But it's not stopping at all.
They are pushing forward.
They want to stop Trump from potentially running and to silence him.
If Republicans win the majority in November, they are planning to launch investigations into Hunter Biden's business dealings.
While in the Senate, Grassley is calling for former FBI assistant special agent Timothy T-Ball to testify.
On his maneuvers.
And tell me what you're hearing from the whistleblowers.
Do you think that there will be accountability here?
Should the Republicans take the House?
I think so.
If the Republicans are strategic and very well organized, there certainly is the will among these very courageous whistleblowers from inside the DOJ and FBI.
They're blowing up their own careers and risking a lot by coming forward.
but they no longer can live with their consciences.
So they are there willing and able to tell what they know.
And when you put the pieces together of what the whistleblowers so far have told us and will continue to tell us, it's really damning.
It's about, from my point of view, what I know very well, the Hunter Biden cover-up.
From the laptop they had in December 2019 to the five and a half hour interview that they had with Tony Bobulinski 11 days before the election.
We haven't seen any of that come to the fore.
Yeah, they had to play her off and get her off the air because we know Fox News.
They're really all about getting to that truth.
I really despise the people that run Fox News, and most of the people on there I consider fake news liars.
There are a few left, Tucker and a few others, who actually do tell the truth, but even they are just gatekeepers trying to keep the broader public away from these investigations that should be taking place and the fact that our whole country has been basically subverted and undermined by a corrupt deep state that's unaccountable,
that has been It's essentially entrenched itself within our government so deeply that it's like a malignant tumor or cancer that has attached itself to a vital organ that if you remove it, then you risk losing the patient.
And that's exactly where we're at today.
So if you think about it in those terms, that's why everybody tiptoes around this and acts like we can't really do anything because there's always the threat.
These people will take down the whole system if they get exposed, if they get removed.
So we have to do it strategically like a surgeon with a fine scalpel, and I think that's what this is all a part of.
So it is what it is.
Speaking of the malignant tumor that is the deep state, Andrew Weissman, the Michael Avenetti of Russia collusion hoax, seems to also be behind the Mar-a-Lago raid?
I don't know.
That's the question being asked here.
Attorney Mike Davis has been all over the corrupt DOJ's raid on Mar-a-Lago.
He points out how the raid of President Trump's home was unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful.
He also has observed individuals who were behind the Russia collusion sham.
Freaking out one of those individuals is Andrew Weissman, the corrupt actor behind the attempted coup of President Trump.
Davis calls Weissman the Michael Avenatti of the Russia collusion hoax in the interview below.
He also notes how much Weissman is freaking out on social media and that this indicates the deep state is off its rocker and Weissman has much vested in the raid.
Here you can see Andrew Weissman retweeting tweets about how the rally that Trump had Last night in Ohio, or on Saturday night in Ohio, looks like a Nazi rally because people put their fingers up in the air when they played this QAnon, where we go and we go all type song.
You know, I just look at it like it's all a joke.
These people, they're not to be taken seriously except for the fact that they've caused so much damage and that they are so dangerous to our society at large.
These people are going into their lawfare war stance and they're going after Trump every step of the way.
But in reality, they're going after you and me.
They're going after the American people because...
We can go down the list of every tier of the way.
How many people have they arrested and raided and taken their phones?
Mike Lindell, Peter Navarro, Steve Bannon, you know, Roger Stone.
The list goes on and on and on.
And that's just a few people off the top of my head.
We can go and do a more comprehensive list with a lot of people that many of us have never even really heard of.
These are Trump allies.
These were Trump campaign funders, people who raised money for Trump.
And they're all being targeted.
It is a 100% political purge that is being executed by our corrupt FBI and our corrupt DOJ, which is why you have so many people in both organizations going to Congress as whistleblowers and saying, what in the world is going on?
Well, I think they fully realize that our government has been inundated and subverted and undermined by people like Andrew Weissman.
And I can't imagine how people like him get into power.
Maybe this video will give us some insight into it.
I started as a finance director.
I worked for candidates in the 90s as their finance director, and I would come on on a congressional race.
I'm a 20-something kid who also knows nothing beyond the state borders, let alone overseas.
And you thought about where you're going to go to raise the money that you needed to raise to win a race.
And you went to labor, and you went to the choice community, and you went to the Jewish community.
But before you went to the Jewish community, you had a conversation with the lead AIPAC person in your state.
And they made it clear that you needed a paper on Israel.
And so you called all of your friends who already had a paper on Israel that was designed by AIPAC, and we made that your paper.
This was before there was a campaign manager, or a policy director, or a field director, because you've got to raise money before you do all that.
I have written more Israel papers than you can imagine.
I'm from Montana.
I barely knew where Israel was until I looked at a map.
And the poor campaign manager would come in, or the policy director, and I'd be like, here's your paper on Israel.
This is our policy.
We've sent it all over the country because this is how we've raised money.
And so you ask, what does that mean?
That means these candidates who, you know, were farmers, or school teachers, or business women, Ended up having an Israel position without having any significant conversation.
But you're saying all Israel papers were the same.
They were identical.
Very similar.
I don't know what that has to do with anything other than perhaps we should be looking at the outside influence in our government from foreign nations including Israel among many others and I don't want to single them out because everybody wants to say oh it's the Jews and I hear all these comments for everybody you know I get it you know we have a major problem but that is one of the biggest problems in our country is that the people representing this country have to submit to these outside forces before they can even represent the American people and Trump made a comment at his speech the other night Where he basically said,
it's funny how, you know, Israel used to be, you know, you couldn't say anything bad about Israel, but now it seems like they've taken over most of our government.
Well, you know, if it looks like a dog, or if it looks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, you tell me what it is, okay?
Because all I see is a lot of people, now, I tell you what, My position on all of it is this.
There are good and bad people everywhere, and I don't just broadly throw a brush on it, but I do say things like globalists intentionally because it's a cadre of individuals, not just one ethnicity or one group.
And people who say that, you know, you can believe what you want.
I'm not going to sit here and argue the semantics of it all with you.
I will say this, though.
It is interesting to note that there is a large faction...
Of our own Congress who are dual citizenship holders with another foreign country, but not just Israel, other countries as well.
So it seems to me as though we have outside forces driving politics in our government to a point now where they have taken over control from we the people, which is why we have to take it back.
So you make of that what you will, but I'm not going to ignore it and pretend that it's not happening.
But remember, if you don't like Joe Biden, it has to be because you are psychologically unable to be happy.
What don't you get?

Your approval rating in the country is well below 50%, and I wonder why you think that is.
This is a really difficult time.
We're at an inflection point in the history of this country.
We're going to make decisions, and we're making decisions now, that are going to determine what we're going to look like in the next 10 years from now.
I think you'd agree that the impact on the psyche of the American people as a consequence of the pandemic is profound.
Think of how that has changed everything.
People's attitudes about themselves, their families, about the state of the nation, about the state of their communities.
And so there's a lot of uncertainty out there.
A great deal of uncertainty.
Really, Joe?
Well, that's interesting that you bring it up that way.
Yeah, so it has to be our mental instability, right?
Because it couldn't have anything to do with you molesting your own children, Joe, or taking bribes from foreign governments through your corrupt, crack-smoking prostitute of a son that you have.
Or your corrupt brother, Jimmy, funneling the bribes in and being the enforcer for your family, your cartel family that you're running.
Or the fact that you're connected to this deep state.
You're just a puppet of the deep state, the larger globalist cartel, who is controlling things behind the scenes.
It couldn't have anything to do with any of those things, Joe.
It has to be our mental instability that is the reason why nobody likes you, Joe.
It's just, it cannot be you, because that's the, remember, that's the motto of the leftist, the modern liberal today, is it's someone else's fault.
No self-accountability, it's everyone else's fault, not mine.
But I, you know, I digress.
So, another story here.
Majority of Democrats believe there are tens of millions of dangerous MAGA Republicans out there.
Well, I wonder why.
Maybe it's because they keep being told by people like the child molester who claims to be president, who's probably got dementia, Joe Biden, that we are some sort of clear and present danger to the democracy of America.
No, actually, Joe, it's a constitutional republic that we have democratic institutions as part of.
And the fact of the matter is these people are sowing the seeds of division.
They want us fighting each other.
That's not obvious by now.
I don't know what is.
They want us at war with one another.
They want us to fight each other because the more we fight each other, the more we don't look at them.
I don't hate people on the other side of the aisle.
I know that some of them have been brainwashed to hate us and me.
That's fine.
I don't hate them.
I actually want to join forces with them in a peaceful, lawful, legal way to overthrow these criminals who have corruptly stolen power in this country and then start rebuilding a nation based on the Constitution as it's originally prescribed and make a true constitutional republic that is not founded on these institutions being infiltrated by never-ending bureaucracies and outside foreign government influences that end up Sowing discord and chaos within our own country to weaken it so it will structurally implode on
itself so it can be turned into a broader regional government just like the EU and just like other major government globalist organizations around the world want.
Like the WEF and the World Economic Forum and the World Health Organization through the UN. I don't want that in America.

So, President Trump's got some good ideas.
Here he is on the campaign trail.
Let's listen.
To root out this appalling corruption, we need to pass historic reforms to tell the deep state, you're fired, you remember the apprentice.

I am starting to liken or warm up to DeSantis a little bit.
I kind of like what he's doing.
But I don't know how DeSantis would handle things in an international form and how he would do it.
But I think he would do a pretty good job.
I hope he's not some bait-and-switch thing where it's like with Bushes and where they say everything they need to while they're governor and then all of a sudden they get in office and it's, oh, we're skull and bones.
We're going to just go ahead and do what the globalists say.
I hope that wouldn't be the case, but Trump's obviously a thorn in their side.
And by there, I mean the globalist establishment that wants to destroy America.
And because, you know, he, you got to think of it this way, guys, the reason they hate Trump so much is because if he hadn't been, if he hadn't been elected, we would still think people like George Bush and John McCain and all the rest on the conservative side were like our friends.
And Mitt Romney and all that stuff, and were fighting for us, Mitch McConnell.
That couldn't be further from the truth.
So the fact of the matter is that that's where I see...
And Trump's popular, and he's got the popular vote, I think, that could get us across the line, but...
It's amazing that we haven't had this looked at more closely either here, but you have Mitch McConnell sabotaging the GOP's chances to win back the Senate.
Now, why would he be doing that?
Well, this article from the American Thinker goes through it in good detail, but it kind of comes to the conclusion that he has foreign interests in countries like China through his wife, and he's an establishment Republican, as we already know.
It's a good read if you want to read through it.
It kind of gives you the whole rundown on what his motivations are.
It ends up saying that if MAGA Republicans win during the midterms, they could begin working against the establishment.
There may be sanctions or restrictions against China, which could affect McConnell personally and financially.
Hence, it seems to be a combination of self-interest and loyalty to the establishment that has dictated McConnell's reluctance to support MAGA candidates.
So what happens now?
McConnell has to be stripped of his leadership and the Senate and replaced by Rand Paul, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz or someone like that.
And what can the donors do?
The donations, irrespective of the amount, must be made to specific campaigns, not the overall GOP or PACs.
In the end, this could be a good way to boost.
Yeah, I'm all for that.
I've stopped giving to the GOP or any PAC that comes out and reaches out to me.
I don't trust these people.
I don't trust Mr.
McConnell.
I don't trust Kevin McCarthy.
I don't trust any of them, and they don't deserve to have any of my money, right?
So the fact of the matter is, is that If you're going to make a donation, find the specific person in their campaign and donate.
And don't believe...
I get dozens of text messages, probably a day almost, from these people.
Oh, we need your money.
25 million percent match.
We'll give you...
Please, we'll give you a hat.
Give us some money.
Give us some money.
Oh, hey, this is Marco Rubio.
Hey, this is...
Whoever it is, some random person in the Republican Party.
It's never the Republican Party.
It's the Republican Party fundraising, using these people's names and likeness to get your money out of your pocket.
So don't just throw money at the campaign blindly or at the GOP blindly or a PAC blindly.
Go to the specific campaign of the person that you support in Congress and donate directly to them on their website or however that's going to work.
So...
That's my opinion and advice in that regard.

Joe Biden downplays his record 8.2 inflation numbers as he destroys the middle class.
Yeah, no big deal.
It's just up a little bit.
Mr.
President, as you know, last Tuesday, the annual inflation rate came in at 8.3%.
The stock market nosedived.
People are shocked by their grocery bills.
What can you do better and faster?
Well, first of all, let's put this in perspective.
Inflation rate month to month is just an inch, hardly at all.
You're not arguing that 8.3 is good news.
No, I'm not saying it is good news, but it was 8.2 or 8.2 before.
I mean, it's not...
Maybe I can make it sound like all of a sudden, my God, it went to 8.2%.
It's been...
It's the highest inflation rate, Mr.
President, in 40 years.
I got that.
But guess what we are?
We're in a position where, for the last several months, it hasn't spiked.
It has just barely, it's been basically even.
And in the meantime, we created all these jobs, and prices have gone up, but they've come down for energy.
The fact is that we've created 10 million new jobs since we came to office.
We're in a situation where the unemployment rate is about 3.7%, one of the lowest in history.
We're in a situation where manufacturing is coming back to the United States in a big way.
Wow, you know, listening to him lie so brazenly is almost refreshing because it just...
Allows you to understand how deeply sick this man is in the head.
8.2 didn't come out of nowhere.
He's like, well, inflation's highest has been in 40 years.
I know!
And it's your fault, Joe!
It's everything that you've done since you walked into office is what caused this spike in inflation.
It's why when we go to the grocery store, we can't afford the groceries.
When we go to the gas station, we leave broke.
It's why when we go out to do anything, we can't afford anything anymore.
But, oh, it's not his fault he made 10 million jobs.
Most of those jobs are being double-counted.
The numbers aren't even real.
And a lot of those jobs are because they literally made everybody fire everyone during COVID, and now they're hiring everyone back, and they're calling that a game job.
No.
These people had jobs before COVID came.
The government forced companies and stores and local businesses to fire their employees by making these draconian, Orwellian, nightmarish policies and rules and mandates.
And then when people go and get work again after the pandemic's over, you count that as a job you made?
You didn't make that job, Joe.
You literally have artificially inflated everything across the board, including your literal inflation.
So, I don't know.
It's just one of those things that you look at and you say, what's going on here?
And here's another story to go along with that.
Why are Walmart and other major US retailers canceling billions of dollars in orders as summer comes to an end?
This is a good question.
Apparently, you're going to see Walmart, Target, and other major US retailers are literally canceling billions of dollars in orders ahead of the coming holiday season.
They say in this article they've never heard of such a thing, but for an example, Walmart just admitted that it's canceled billions of dollars in orders as we approach the upcoming holiday season, saying they want to clear most summer inventory and make room for new actions in quarter three.
It's very odd.
They also say that Target canceled more than $1.5 billion in orders, as well as Kohl's and Under Armour have also been canceling large numbers of orders.
So what do they know that we don't, guys?
You think they aren't the first ones to know when they understand what's going on better than anyone else, and you just have to look at their actions to understand why they do what they do.
So if they are doing this kind of stuff and making these kind of moves, it's because they see a major market downturn ahead.

We're not finishing today, but we're doing our God's Grace is Greater.
We're doing the whole gospel of Matthew.
We're in chapter 20.
And today we're going to talk about Jesus explaining essentially what it means to To serve the kingdom and how we're going to do that in our lives.
And I love this verse that we're going to show you here.
This is a little excerpt from the part we're going to go through.
And it says, On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must become your servant.
Whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave, just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many.
And it's a powerful verse, and we're going to talk about what that means, what the context is, why Jesus is telling his disciples this, and how we can understand it and apply it to our lives.

Be aware of that.
That's coming down the pipeline, so there's that to look forward to.
In other news, Chuck Schumer's lobbying for at least $12 billion in Ukraine to win the war.
Yeah, but guys, because just $12 billion more will get you a whole war in Ukraine won.

To protect the territorial sovereignty of a country on the other side of the world that has been funneling bribes to our corrupt system where they've been essentially using it as a piggy bank to enrich themselves for how long?
Yeah, it's good that we're doing that.
I'm glad that we're sending all that money over there.
I'm sure it's going to end up in great places.
But the war is going to escalate, apparently.
The war could escalate because now Ukrainian terrorists are attacking inside of Russia.
This is not a joke here.
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Russia could escalate its war in Ukraine in response to terrorist attacks against civilian infrastructure inside of the Russian territory.
Putin has framed his invasion as a special military operation that could be upgraded into a full-scale war.
His government recently rejected calls to mobilize for war, but Putin signaled there could be some sort of escalation.
Indeed, we're quite restrained, but that will not last forever, the Russian leader said at a press conference.
Recently, Russian armed forces delivered a couple sensitive blows in that area.
Referring to Russians on Ukrainian power infrastructure that came after Kiev's Kharkiv counteroffensive.
If the situation continues like that, our response will be more impactful.
Terrorist attacks are a serious matter.
Putin accused Ukraine of attempting to attack nuclear power plants inside Russia.
We even see attempts to perpetrating terrorist attacks in the Russian Federation, including, I'm not sure the public was made aware, but...
Attempts to carry out terrorist attacks near our nuclear facilities, nuclear power plants, the Russian Federation said.
This is among other attacks that have been reported regarding, I think there was like a train attack that happened more recently.
So this is what they're going to do now.

So now they're going to this tactic of doing these terrorist attacks inside of Russia.
And that could lead to a very quick escalation, because I don't think that the Kremlin and Putin are going to put up with the Ukrainians going into their country and blowing things up and killing people for much longer.
And I'm telling you right now, this is going to be very, very dangerous what's coming down the pipeline.
So be prepared.

Remember when Black Lives Matter were burning down whole cities and holding entire neighborhoods hostage and burning down police precincts and committing violent hate crimes and murders, all in the name of some drug addict who got in an altercation with cops and ended up dying?

What is happening in this country?

With that, we're going to go and do our God's Grace is Greatest segment.
We're going to pick up where we left off yesterday in Matthew 20, verse 17.
And we're going to read about Jesus again predicting his death and resurrection.
But then we're going to talk about what it means to be a servant of God and what that really looks like.
And this is an interesting exchange between the disciples and Jesus and actually the mother of two of the disciples with Jesus.
That we're going to read all about.
So I hope you guys are ready for our God's graces greater.
Let's read right here.
Starting on verse 17 in chapter 20 of Matthew.
It says, Then the mother of Zebedee's sons approached him with her sons.
She knelt down to ask him for something.
What do you want?
He asked her.
Promise, she said to him, that these two sons of mine may sit one on your right and the other on your left in your kingdom.
But Jesus answered,
And the men of high position exercise power over them.
It must not be like that among you.
On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave, just as the Son of Man did not be great among you.
Wow.
Now there's a lot to unpack here, and this is a powerful example of Jesus basically showing us what it means to suffer and to serve God.
And what that should really look like.
But I'm going to break this down in a way that kind of clears everything up, right?
To a degree, I guess.
You know, again, this is just my interpretation of all, but...
He starts, again, we're picking up where we left off in the book of Matthew where he gave us the parable of the vineyard workers where he taught us that the kingdom of heaven is not necessarily a fair thing to most people.
But the essential moral of that parable was that Those who came first got the same as those who came last, meaning no matter when you join the kingdom of heaven or when you join Christ and give your life to him, and no matter what point in your life you're at when you go and do that, you get the same reward as everyone else, which is eternal salvation.
So going on from that, he talks about his own death.
This is the third time he's predicting his own death, and he tells his disciples again because he keeps telling them, And I don't think they believe him, because in their minds, you've got to remember, the disciples think that Jesus is going to have this empire on earth.
In their minds, they've already figured out in their heads at the time, because the Israelis and the Jews at the time were being oppressed severely by this Gentile occupation from the Romans.
And what they thought in their mind was that Jesus as the Messiah was going to come and create this incredible empire where he was going to overthrow the Romans and bring this incredible empire on earth that they wanted to be a part of.
So Jesus has to keep telling them, he's saying, look, I'm going to go to Jerusalem.
I'm going to be handed over to the chiefs, priests, and scribes.
They're going to condemn me to death.
They're going to flog me.
They're going to mock me.
They're going to crucify me.
But he tells them, I will be resurrected on the third day.
So he keeps telling them that, but it's almost like they don't believe him.
Because you see an exchange like this.
Zebedee was the father of James and John.
James and John were two of Jesus' disciples.
And people think that it's possible that Zebedee, his wife, the mother of Zebedee in this story here, was related to Jesus somehow.
Perhaps an aunt, perhaps a sister to Mary, something on that effect.
But I don't really think that we know for sure.
But Zebedee, whose sons, James and John's mother, goes to Jesus and asks him this incredible question.
She says, Now, people think that because she may have had a close familial tie to Jesus somehow, through Mary or something else, that that would have given her this...
Concept that she could have had.
She wanted her sons to have a position of favor with Jesus.
Not that they didn't already, but to have a higher authority.
Because again, you've got to remember, the disciples are thinking in this moment that Jesus is going to make this great kingdom on earth, he's going to overthrow the Romans, and he's going to reign as a king.
Because that's how their minds work at the time.
That's what they were thinking.
So she's basically asking Jesus that if James and John can have these high-ranking positions with Jesus in his kingdom.
And Jesus' answer is pretty much incredible to the first part.
He says, you don't know what you're asking.
And then he asks, are you able to drink the cup that I'm about to drink?
So what's he saying there?
He says, you don't even understand the kingdom that I'm making is not of this earth.
That's what he's, I think, saying in the first part there.
He says, you don't know what you're asking.
You don't understand the kingdom of heaven is a kingdom that's not here on this earth, that I'm making for you in heaven.
And then he asks, are you able to drink the cup that I'm about to drink?
Because he knows what he's about to go through.
He's just told them, I'm going to be flogged.
I'm going to be persecuted.
I'm going to be killed.
I'm going to have to be resurrected.
Like, are you ready for that?
And they say, of course.
Yes, we are.
Of course we are.
Right?
Yeah, of course we are.
Because, you know, the disciples are always, you know, ready for it.
But then he told them, well, you will indeed drink from my cup because he knows what's coming for them as well, that they're going to face persecution.
I believe James and John both faced persecution.
One was exiled, the other was martyred after Jesus' death.
But...
He says, you will indeed drink from my cup.
But he says, I can't give you a seat at my right hand or my left hand because that's for my Father in Heaven, God, to decide.
He's already basically decided who's going to be there.
Jesus says, it's not on me.
I can't do that.
Right?
So...
Then it says the ten disciples, the other disciples, not James and John, hear this, and they get angry.
Of course they do, because that's how the disciples are.
They get angry, and that's what I love about them, because the humanity that they bring to the whole thing is really what we all feel.
Some people might get jealous.
You're like, well, what do you mean?
Right?
So they became indignant at James and John for asking this, but Jesus tells them this.
Jesus says, you know that these rulers, these Gentile rulers, the Romans, that they dominate their people, that the men of high position exercise power over them.
But he says it must not be like this among you guys.
He's explaining to them what the kingdom of heaven is right here.
He says, on the contrary, if you want to become great among you...
You must be a servant to others.
And whoever wants to be first must be a slave.
It's the same thing he's been saying over and over again through these stories.
The first will be last and the last will be first.
Sometimes.
Not always.
I think that's how he says it.
He's saying to them...
Don't you understand?
The kingdom of heaven will be won by those who give to others, who live with kindness in their heart, who serve others, who serve God first and foremost above any ruler here on this earth, and who don't lust for power, who don't lust for things that are and who don't lust for power, who don't lust for things that are of this fallen earth in which we live, but seek the kingdom of heaven and seek to build their
So he's explaining to them that if you want to become great, you must become a servant, and that if you want to be first, you must be a slave.
And then he says, just of himself, the Son of Man, he says, I did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life, Jesus is saying his life, as a ransom for many.
And I think that this is so powerful.
I love this story.
And I hope it speaks to your heart in some way that helps you understand better what the kingdom of heaven is and how we truly attain that kingdom of heaven here on this earth.
It's not going to come from being great, mighty, and powerful, rich, and all this other stuff.
It's going to come from being a servant.
It's going to come from being a slave.
And basically that means turning your life over to God and giving everything you have to Him and saying, God, show me the way.
Help me help others.
Help me be a blessing unto others in this world.
Help me bring other people to the faith in the gospel.
Help me share what I need to share to make this world a better place and do what I need to do to become better for you, Lord, in heaven so that I can be who the people in this world need me to be.
And I think that's a powerful way of putting it.
So that's today's lesson from our God's Graces Greater Sigmund.

Dear Lord and Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this beautiful lesson where we can learn how to become servants in your kingdom better.
Lord, help us not seek the things of this world, the power and fame and money and riches, and help us seek to build our treasure in heaven.
Help us realize that You, Lord, our King above all else, and that we have to submit to you and give our lives to you and then help others find that compassion in their heart.
But then find a servant spirit to go and help others and be blessing into this world and not detract from your great kingdom, but try to build it and make it better.
Lord, for you, according to your will, in whatever way we can.
We give great thanks for all your many blessings, Lord.
We thank you for the blessing, most of all, of the sacrifice made on the cross for our sins to have eternal salvation in heaven with you.
We thank you for that, most of all.
Lord, just be with us all.
In Jesus' name we pray.
