The first one being, though, this new report coming out from The Lancet that talks about how they're saying it could have, COVID could have originated today.

So we're going to talk about that, what that means, and why they're putting that out now.
We're going to look at Fauci squirming on Capitol Hill while he's being grilled by Rand Paul, who's using Fauci's own words against him to prove that he is doing exactly what we know he's doing, which is shilling for big pharma so he can get major royalties.
And this is all about money.
And we're going to talk about the depopulation aspect associated with this crazy vaccine and all the other stuff that They don't want us to talk about, which is why yours truly has been banned from all of the major big tech companies and their platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, because we talk about the issues that they're trying to hide from the public at large, and they don't want us to even ask questions about.

All right, let's start with this first story here.
New Lancet report saying that COVID could have originated from a U.S. lab.
Yep.
It says a new report by a top medical journal, The Lancet, says it's feasible, quote unquote, that the COVID-19 virus actually originated from a laboratory in the United States.
Up until this point, much of the speculation around the origin of the pandemic has centered on the Wuhan lab in China.
However, the new paper suggests that SARS-CoV-2 could have leaked from a U.S. lab as a result of either a natural spillover or a laboratory incident.
The report states that independent researchers have not yet investigated U.S. labs and that the National Institute of Health has resisted disclosing details of its work.
Despite the evidence presented in the research paper, The Lancet is still facing a backlash over its refusal to take action against economist Professor Jeffrey Sachs, who was involved in research for the publication during a podcast hosted by Robert F. Professor Angela Rasmussen claimed that Sacks' appearance on the podcast undermines the seriousness of the Lancet Commission's mission to the point of completely negating it.

The question of a possible laboratory release mostly involves the question of U.S.-China joint work that was underway on SARS-like viruses.
He said, although there is plenty of evidence to suggest that the virus was leaked from the Wuhan lab, China's response to the pandemic doesn't make much sense in that context.
If China deliberately or accidentally leaked the virus, why is Beijing still pursuing a disastrous zero COVID policy by locking down entire cities to this day, risking tumultuous domestic unrest and seriously damaging their own economy?

So I don't know.
It doesn't matter where it came from at this point.
It's being exploited regardless, right?
We all know where it probably came from.
More likely than not, it came out of a bioweapons lab.
Now, whether it was a lab in Wuhan, China, or a lab in China, Ukraine, or a lab in the United States, they were basically working on this gain-of-function research with this coronavirus that then got out somehow, infected a bunch of people.
Now we're all stuck with this virus that they've weaponized, which essentially is the flu anyway.
They weaponized the flu.
They convinced us that we need to start pumping these mRNA vaccines into our body, which decimate our natural immunity or immune systems.
And now they're having to put us on permanent immune boosters, mRNA shots, because that was the plan from the get-go, to make you more and more independent or dependent on big pharma infections.

And here is Ron Paul.
Or not Ron Paul, excuse me, Rand Paul, going after Fauci, using his own words against him, to talk about the hypocrisy and the lies that are coming out of this man, Fauci's mouth.
This is an incredible exchange.

Senator Rand Paul used Fauci's words against him because Fauci comes out and they keep trying to push the vaccine on kids and adults, saying you need vaccine after vaccine after vaccine.
Take your vaccine.
You need 12 vaccines.
Well, maybe if they didn't annihilate your immune system with the first vaccine, you wouldn't need 17 more vaccines every other week to make sure that your body can fight off the common cold.
But here, let's watch Rand Paul basically destroy Fauci in this exchange.
The flu for 14 days, she's as protected as anybody can be because the best vaccination is to get infected yourself.
If she really has the flu, if she really has the flu, she definitely doesn't need a flu vaccine.
If she really has the flu.
She should not get it again.
No, she doesn't need it because it's the most potent vaccination is getting infected yourself.
This is an ongoing question, and we've had ever-evolving opinions from you, Dr.
Fauci.
Currently, antibody surveys show that approximately 80% of children have had COVID, and yet there are no guidelines coming from you or anybody in the government to take into account their naturally-acquired immunity.
You seem quite certain of yourself in 2004, but in 2022, there's a lot less certainty.
One of the things that we also know after looking at this for two to three years is that the mortality from COVID is very similar, if not less, than influenza.
So when we look at this, we wonder, you know, why you seem to really embrace basic immunology back in 2004 and how you or why you seem to reject it now.
Well, I don't reject basic immunology, Senator, and I have never denied that there is importance of the protection following infection.
However, as we have said many times, and as has been validated by the authorization by the FDA through their committee and the recommendation by the CDC through their committee, That a vaccination following infection gives an added extra boost.
And that film that you showed is really taken out of context.
I believe that was when someone called in who had had a reaction to a vaccine and asked me through a telephone in the interview, If they should get vaccinated again.
So it was in the context of someone who had a reaction.
As a matter of fact, Reuters fact check looked at that and said, Fauci's 2004 comments do not contradict his pandemic stance.
Actually, words don't lie.
If you look at the words behind me, we can go over them a little bit at a time.
She doesn't need it because the most potent vaccination Is getting infected yourself.
It is true.
It is true, Senator.
It is a very potent way to protect.
When you're trying to tell us that kids need a third or a fourth vaccine, are you including the variability or the variable of previous infection in the studies?
No, you're not.
Because when you have approved vaccines in recent times, and the committees that have approved it for children don't report anything on hospitalization, Or death or transmission.
They only report that if you give them the jab, they'll make antibodies.
And you can give kids hundreds of jabs and they'll make antibodies every time, but that does not prove efficacy.
So what you're doing is denying the very fundamental premise of immunology that previous infection does provide some sort of immunity.
It's not in any of your studies.
Almost none of your studies from the CDC or from the government have the variable of whether or not you've been previously infected.
So let's look at adults.
I've had three infections.
Should I get a fourth one?
If you're going to measure whether I get a fourth one, you need a category that has a fourth one in it, and you need one that has nothing in it.
No vaccine or the fourth vaccine.
But you also need to know whether they've been infected.
If you ignore whether they've been infected, you're ignoring a vaccine, basically.
So you're ignoring a variable.
So what you're giving us You decry, and people decry, vaccine hesitancy?
It's coming from the gobbledygook that you give us.
You're not paying attention to the science.
The very basic science is that previous infection provides a level of immunity.
If you ignore that in your studies, if you don't present that in your committees, you're not being truthful or honest with this.
Senator, if I might respond, I have never, ever denied fundamental immunology.
In fact, I wrote the chapter in the textbook of medicine on fundamental immunology.
Any of the guidelines for vaccines?
Do any of the guidelines for vaccines from the government include previous infection?
As something to base your decision making on with vaccines.
Do any of the guidelines involve previous infection?
That's why you're ignoring previous infection because it doesn't involve any of the guidelines.
And furthermore, we've been asking you and you refuse to answer whether anybody on the vaccine committees gets royalties from the pharmaceutical companies.
I asked you last time and what was your response?
We don't have to tell you.
We've demanded them through Freedom of Information Act, and what have you said?
We're not going to tell you.
But I tell you this, when we get in charge, we're going to change the rules, and you will have to divulge where you get your royalties from, from what companies, and if anybody on the committee has a conflict of interest, we're going to learn about it.

Do you know how much transference of wealth took place in that time period?

The rich certainly got richer.
And at that point, what happens now?
Where are we at now?
Inflation, hyperinflation is running.
Stagflation, whatever you want to call it.
It's running out of control.
Prices are going up.
But guess what?
The people who got rich before can still afford all these things that we can't afford now.
And we're becoming poor for it.
Then, as it says here, they're going to come in as the saviors.
They're going to save us.
They're going to bail us out with their multi-billion dollar fortunes, just like the vaccine companies.
They give the shot away for free from the big pharma-owned institutions where they've been paid billions of dollars.
So they've essentially laundered billions of dollars from taxpayers into these big pharma companies who pay off the scientists to tell the population to get the jab that then precipitates them being paid more billions by the government so they can give away more free jabs through CVS and Walgreens and wherever you go to get your local drugs or your local grocery store.
And guess what?
The mom and pop that doesn't go along with this operation, they're gone.
They're out of the equation.
And all their property is being bought up for pennies on the dollar or was bought up for pennies on the dollar.
And when the next collapse happens, trust me, it will.
When the recession hits, when there's another depression, they're going to buy up everything for nothing.
Because we're going to have nothing and we're going to be decimated by it all.
And that's the truth that they don't want us to see.

And look, I was just driving by today, anecdotally speaking, I see the side of an AT&T truck on the road and I look at it and it's got a picture of all these superheroes like the Hulk and Captain America and You know, Wonder Woman and whatever, and they're all like, be a hero, wear a mask.
The brainwashing and propaganda hasn't ended.
They're still full.
I'm not here in Communist California.
They're still full on with this program.
Now, luckily, the restrictions have loosened a little bit in people, at least where I live, because I live in the Central Valley where we're not a bunch of crazy psychopaths.
It's actually a conservative area of this part of the state.

It's like you still can't go to the doctor without wearing a mask.
You still can't go do certain things without having to comply with these Orwellian orders, this nightmare regime that has imposed itself unilaterally across the board in this medical tyranny that just sprung up.
And at the same time, we have stories like this Democratic senator from Hawaii, one of the least impressive people in office at this point, in the history of America at least, literally is making a call to arms Against the pro-life movement.
Yep, not making it up.
Let's watch.
My colleagues talking about how it should be states' rights or government should not be telling us what to do.
The word hypocrites, it doesn't even go far enough to call them out on what they're doing.
This is an outright attack on women in this country.
That is how I see it.
That is how more and more women and those who support our right to make decisions about our own bodies.

And why?
Because that's what's happening.

The veteran-led group was already cleared by the FBI as a non-threat in 2020, but the woke analyst decided to target the group again.

They pitted us against each other, the vaxxed versus the unvaxxed, right?

They couldn't convince us to hate each other politically because people were looking around and going, yeah, I don't...

I just think they're misguided, and there are evil people running these people at the top, but most people aren't evil in their hearts, and they need to learn about God.
We have to share principles of Christianity with them.
We have to show kindness, and we were doing that.
And then comes COVID, and it's get your jab, and if you don't wear a mask, you're going to kill grandma, and you have people screaming at you hysterically at a grocery store because you won't cover your face, while at the same time, you know, these are the same people that were traditionally liberals who distrusted the government,
now fall lockstep in with the government, beg the government to give them experimental vaccines, beg the government to enforce more restrictions on their liberal freedoms, and then they call you A fascist, when you say no, the mind warfare, the psyop that this was is insane.
And now in the same way, they've normalized these calls to violence.
I mean, I still see people wearing masks around here.
I mean, you know, look, I understand before COVID, you know, you'd see somebody wearing a mask, you assume they may be immunocompromised, they have some issues, you know, maybe they just don't want dust, asthma, whatever.
Now, I see people that are wearing masks as a statement of virtue.
It's their virtue signal.
They are more virtuous than you because they wear their mask.
And they look at you with terror and fear if you get near them, right?
Right.
Because they're in a cult.
It's a death cult.
Like I said in the beginning, you saw the thumbnail for this video.
They are in a death cult.
And it's just as much in the cultural as it is in this crazy, psychotic medical death cult that they're in with these vaccines and the masks.
And it's all on purpose.
It's all a divide-and-conquer tactic.
And they're going to keep trying to divide us further, but the funniest thing is watching these Democrats and these uniparty Republicans go at each other now, talking about how virtuous and great the deep state is.
You've got to see this.
That's what the previous president suggested.
That's what his supporters are suggesting now.
And they're suggesting not only that, but they're going to put people in place who want to follow their political edicts, legal or not.
They made it quite clear.

The words they use matter.

Honoring them.
So it's like some ceremonial thing like...
Yes, the honorable constitution that we stamp on and trample over every single day and tear apart and pass unconstitutional laws every single day and bills that trample on the individual rights of the citizen.
And that way we can use this cadre of professionals to do things like frame presidents who don't fall in line to the bureaucracy, the never-ending bureaucracy in D.C. that's run by the globalist cartel of evil individuals who want to enslave humanity and create a global governing system that would be outside the never-ending bureaucracy in D.C. that's run by the globalist cartel of evil It would be an extrajudicial system, if you will, where they are the emperor and we are the plebe.
And this guy is the perfect example, the Steny Hoyer, of an establishment deep state neocon rhino.
I mean, not rhino.
He's a Democrat, so he is deep state establishment.
But the fact of the matter is that these people have guaranteed health care for life.
These people have salaries that never end.
I think once you get into Congress, your salary at least keeps going for a while with benefits and things like that.
And they don't have to worry about anything.
They've enriched themselves at the cost of the taxpayers.
They have multiple houses and mansions.
They are living the lush life, the plush life.
And we, the plebes, just need to shut up and obey what these unelected bureaucrats say we have to obey or else.
That's basically the threat that they put against us.
Speaking of the deep state, here's a funny one.
Cash Patel over on Truth saying, Attorney General Barr, new FBI agent Tybalt, Timothy Tybalt, or Tebow, whatever you want to call it, broke law, allowed FBI analyst Otten to do the same and buried the Hunter Biden laptop.
Barr knew Danchenko on FBI payroll.
No one in media demanding Barr be held accountable for allowing the largest cover-up of the biggest criminal conspiracy in U.S. history.
Instead, Barr makes money by screaming Orange Man bad, hawking his book where he claims, I didn't get FBI job because he didn't want to lose the FBI. Someone tell him he lost the country, mission first.
So...
I love that at least Cash is telling the truth, and he is an amazing patriot, I think.
I think he's really trying to get the truth out there, but think about this, too.
Remember the first part, this Tebow, Tebow, Tebow, whatever his name is.
You know what's funny about this Tebow, Tebow guy?

The guy on the right, obviously, is one of the unindicted, you know, insurrectionists from January 6th who was screaming at people with Ray Epps and others to, you know, storm the Capitol and take it by any means and so on and so forth.
And on the left here is Timothy Tebow, the FBI agent who just resigned or retired after politicizing the FBI and waging war against Donald Trump from within the FBI.
It's just striking similarity here.
And remember, this is one of the guys who hasn't been indicted.
He's never been brought up on charges.
He was taken off the most wanted list.
Interesting.
I wonder if there's any correlation between those two.
I wonder if they're related.
Perhaps that's his brother.
Maybe it's his brother.
I don't know.
So it's like, and then they're the ones staging these insurrection.
They're the ones who are behind these false flag operations.
Why do you think they got him out of there?
Maybe because they had him on video and camera doing bad things that he shouldn't have been doing.
But you know what?
They're never going to get arrested because they're in the deep state.

Speaking of corruption, Obama-appointed judge is refusing to force the release of federal records regarding Hunter Biden gun purchase.
You know, the one where he lied on his federal gun purchase form about how he was a crackhead at the time.
And he went and bought a gun that was later disposed of in a dumpster behind a high school and that the Secret Service went in and actually seemingly destroyed all the evidence against.
Yeah, no big deal, guys.
It's not like we live in a two-tiered corrupt justice system.
Not at all.
Speaking of corruption, Facebook was spying on personal messages of Americans who questioned the 2020 election.
And not only that, they turned them over to the FBI, of course.
Just remember that when you log into your Facebook account, if you still have one, unlike yours truly, who has been banned from Facebook for bad speak.

They kicked me out.
Yeah, they've essentially been working with them.
They are the FBI, guys.
Remember, DARPA, LifeLog.
It was created by the intelligence services, so you'd voluntarily submit all of your personal information, all of your relationships, all your conversations, your location.
What kind of food you like?

As we have this story here, Putin telling Xi Jinping that the U.S. push for unipolar world is turning ugly, but China has concerns over Ukraine.
The real takeaway, though, we talked about this yesterday, this summit that took place today between China and Russia, which was in Kazakhstan.
The real, real important takeaway from all of this is simple.
China wants to work with Russia to build pipelines from Russia into China so that they can get easy, cheap gas.
And natural and fossil fuels.
So if you think about it, that's one of the more dangerous things.
I mean, I've said this before.
I'll say it again.
China and Russia teaming up, not good for America.
And the fact that our psychotically deranged suicidal leadership in Washington, seemingly, is pushing this hard as they can, it's not good for us, guys.
It's not going to end well for anybody involved.
But they wouldn't tell you that, I guess.
The DOJ also, in other news, refusing to release documents showing conspiracy with left-wing groups to influence 2022 election.
Yep, that's coming down the pipeline, of course.
And, of course, they're going to keep withholding all the information.
A FOIA request was made to get this information regarding Executive Order 14-019, which was the Promoting Access to Voting Executive Order, which is going to be actually creating direct collusion between the feds and non-profit groups.
But we can't know about it.
Because that's transparent in a democracy, although we are a constitutional republic.
In our democracy, you can't know about the feds working with non-profit groups to promote access to voting via executive order because that just wouldn't be democratic.
To see the truth about something, democratic?

Speaking of living in a one-party communist state like I do out here in California, the California Democrats won't debate in any race for statewide office in this upcoming election cycle.
Well, why should they?
They've already rigged the system out here, so it is a one-party state.
They don't need the consent of the governed.
They just need the consent of the uniparty that is the Democratic Party that runs California with big tech and their minions.
And maybe they have to get some sign-offs by some of the oligarchies out here that are established in big agriculture and big oil.
But once they get past that hurdle, they don't care what the voters think out here.

Obviously, we have the big story that nobody wants to really talk about in reality except a few people.
Florida Governor DeSantis has sent two plane loads of illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard.
Now, as hilarious as it is watching these, you know, latte-sipping liberals, the limousine liberals, panic as their neighborhoods are invaded by the people of color, huh?
It is pretty much, to me, aiding and abetting a felony of invading our country, the felonious invasion of our nation.
And I hate it.
I've hated it from the beginning.
I hated it when Abbott was doing it.
I hate it when DeSantis is doing it.
I despise these governors who do this.
For this particular reason.
Not in all ways.
I don't really like Governor Abbott at all that much.
But I do like DeSantis.
I'm starting to warm up to him.
But I hate when they do this stuff because it pisses me off to no end to understand that we live in a system now Where they think they're owning the libs by becoming accessories to the illegal invasion of our nation.
Oh, the illegals have come across the border?

We'll put them on a plane and fly them deeper into the country.

But let's hear it from Martha's Vineyard.
You know, these people in Martha's Vineyard, it's hilarious.
Because I despise the fact that these people are being shipped deeper into our country by these governors who think they're owning the libs.
I don't like that at all.
But it is pretty hilarious to watch the reaction of the latte liberals in Martha's Vineyard when they are confronted with this.
What are the most difficult challenges right now?
The difficult challenges are at some point in time they have to move from here to somewhere else.
We don't have the services to take care of 50 immigrants and we certainly don't have housing.
We're in a housing crisis as we are on this island.
We can't house everyone here that lives here and works here.
We don't have housing for 50 more people.
Oh, but I'm sure if you ask that same person about two weeks ago how they felt about illegals coming in the country, they'd say, every illegal should be able to come into our country.
How do you think the people living in the border states feel when millions of people are crossing and they don't have the resources to take care of them?
How do you think they feel?
Oh, probably a little bit like how you feel right now, saying, I don't know, we can't take care of them, but somebody should.
Well, maybe, just an idea here, we actually defend our territorial sovereignty and close down the border and have a moratorium on all of immigration and start there and then talk about the tens of millions of people who have already invaded our country and are living here illegally in the first place.
How about that?
But I like this exchange between Tucker Carlson and Carrie Lake because she summarizes the way I feel about this.
This is why I like Carrie Lake a lot.

Sure, I just have to throw this at you because you live in a border state that has borne the brunt of the lawlessness on our border.
We've just received digital footage of illegal aliens being dropped off in Martha's Vineyard.
Apparently the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, flew them there.
On the idea that communities, border towns in Texas and Arizona are bearing all the brunt and maybe the people who make these policies should have to live with them.
What's your view of this?
You know, I actually, I get a kick out of it watching these liberal mayors just, you know, throw their hands up and say we can't handle it because it's life every day for us in these border states.
However, I'm not a fan of it, Tucker.
I mean, we're just taking people here illegally who shouldn't be here.
We're moving them further inland.
My plan is the most bold, aggressive plan on the border.
We're going to secure the border.
We're going to call it what it is, issue a declaration of invasion on day one, get troops on the border in the form of our National Guard.
We're going to stop people from coming over.
And we're going to stop the cartels from having control of our border.
I don't like it as a mother, and I know no Arizonan likes it, that we are the pipeline for the most dangerous, deadly drug this country's ever seen, called fentanyl.
Number one killer of young people.
It's all coming through Arizona because Joe Biden gave control of our border to the cartels.
And on day one, we're going to invoke our Article 1, Section 10, authority, and take back control of our border away from the federal government.
It's a dereliction of duty what they've done.
And we're not going to let Joe Biden drag the state of Arizona down while he's trying to destroy this country.
Well, at least somebody's got some common sense.
Why in the world isn't Greg Abbott doing the same thing?
I understand why the communist state of California is not doing anything.
Although, if you try to cross the border at San Diego, you're not going to have as easy of a time.
They're going to go, well, the border's more porous and bigger between Arizona and Texas.
No, no, no, no, no.
Actually, I would say this.
It's probably because the big liberal lefty mega-donors in San Diego saw their city becoming a complete trash hole from these people coming in and destroying it.
And they were like, well, we're not going to have that.
So they shut up that border pretty quick.
But we need to flood the conservative state that hasn't become a uniparty communist hellhole like California.
We should probably have those people invade that state.

It's going to be a tough battle, but I can't wait to see what happens when federal border patrol agents have to confront the National Guard in Arizona and what's going to happen there.

This is like they talk about civil war.
That's how civil wars start, guys, where you have a completely reckless attack.
Criminal regime like Biden trying to dictate policies that are destroying this nation, that are imploding it, that are, you know, basically opening up our borders to invaders.
That's how this kind of Civil War ideology keeps getting pushed around.
So, that being said, Biden to fight white supremacy, whether FBI can find any or not, Yeah, this is the new thing here.
Apparently Biden and his administrator hold a forum on taking action to prevent and address hate-motivated violence and foster unity.
FBI agents have revealed that the administration has overblown the perceived threat of white supremacy and extremism.
Really?
Well, here's an insider saying, the demand for white supremacy coming from FBI headquarters vastly outstrips the supply of white supremacy, said one FBI agent.
We have more people assigned to investigate white supremacists than we can actually find.
Oh, interesting.

Funny how they keep telling us it's white supremacy and then there's no real white supremacists left in this country.
Anyway, the New York Times here coming out and saying New Hampshire is 94% white.
It is now trying to figure out how to change that.

And how do we do it?

We become bearers of the gospel and bring it, as the Great Commission told us to do.
So my challenge to you is, you believe in Christ and you love Jesus with all your heart.
Go and spread the word to everybody who will listen.
And that's why we do our God's Graces Greater segment every episode, and today is no different.
We're going into the book of Matthew chapter 19.
We're going to be talking about Jesus, explaining what it means to, or what divorce is, and when it should happen and when it shouldn't happen.
And it's an interesting interaction.
And we're going to read verse 1 through 12 in chapter 19.
We're going through the whole gospel of Matthew.
We start in chapter 1.
We're already in chapter 19.
Let's go ahead and read these words from our Lord and Savior on the question of divorce, where it says, When Jesus had finished this instruction, he departed from Galilee and went to the region of Judea across the Jordan.
Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
Some Pharisees approached him to test him.
They asked, Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife on any grounds?
Haven't you read, he replied, that he who created them in the beginning made them male and female.
And he also said, For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.
So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
Therefore, what God has joined together, man must not separate.
Why then, they asked him, did Moses command us to give divorce papers and to send her away?
He told them, Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of the hardness of your hearts.
But it was not like that from the beginning.
And I tell you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.
His disciples said to him, If the relationship of a man with his wife is like this, it's better not to marry.
But he told them, Not everyone can accept this saying, but only those it has been given to.
For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, there are eunuchs who were made by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves that way because of the kingdom of heaven.
Let anyone accept this who can't.
That's a fascinating story, a fascinating explanation of divorce from our Lord and Savior Jesus.
And let's start from the beginning.
So Jesus is going and he's crossed into Judea and he is healing people again.
And he's continuing on his journey toward what he knows is going to be his ultimate mission, which is to die on the cross and then be raised from the dead to give us eternal salvation.
So along the way though, a theme that we've seen commonly throughout this whole book of Matthew is the Pharisees are unbelievers and they keep trying to test Jesus, but they're really trying to trap Jesus in his own words.
They're trying to get him to stumble and say something that they can use to persecute him further than they already are.
So they do it again and they ask him, is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife on any grounds?
Now you can go back to the laws of Moses that they talk about in here and talk about how, you know, in their perception of what was divorced at that time, you know, you could divorce for whatever reason, I believe.
But here Jesus is saying, haven't you read that he who created them in the beginning made them male and female for this reason?
And I love this verse.
So let's break that down.
Jesus is saying that God made men and female.
And our lives are meant to go a certain way.
We're meant to leave our mother and father, find a wife, be joined with them in one flesh, just as God shows us.
And that is, you know, the idea that we can become one flesh is, I think, kind of a representation of the perfection of God's creation.
Right?
That we are able to become this joint flesh, this one body that is for Christ through marriage.
And I think that's what Jesus is pointing to here.
But he says that the Pharisees basically asked, well, why then did Moses command us to give divorce papers and to send her away?
Saying like, well, why did he say we could get divorced?
And he said that basically they had hardened their hearts, meaning they hadn't taken any of this seriously.
And I actually had a verse, or I had something here that actually talks about this directly, this verse.
And it says here, right, it's verse 7.
It says...
A command is quite different from permission.
The Pharisees had in mind Deuteronomy 24, 1-4 and Jesus explained how they had misinterpreted this passage.
They wanted to focus on the acceptable causes for divorce.
Jesus wanted them to see that all divorce grieves God's heart and reflects the underlying sin that comes when human hearts grow hard.
And I love that explanation because I think that's truly what it's saying there.
And that's what Jesus, I believe, is trying to convey to these Pharisees whose hearts have grown hardened.
And they look at it so callously, and they don't understand that when you make that commitment before God, that is a lifelong commitment to this woman.
You are becoming one for God.
Now, if you're married, like some of us happen to be, you understand the reality of this situation.
But then Jesus talks about people who are single, too.
So if you're out there and you're single, he gives a few explanations on that as well.
But He says there's only one reason for a man to divorce his wife, and that is for sexual immorality.
So, that's the way I would look at it.
But then it goes on, if the relationship of a man with his wife is like, this is better not to marry, that's what his disciples are saying to him.
Because they're like, well, then we can't have any freedom, right?
We can't just go and divorce wherever we want.
You've got to remember, the disciples are being brought out of the Jewish culture that they had grown up in.
They had learned these things by studying the Torah, by studying Judaic law, and Jesus is basically breaking it all down, saying, I am the Son of God, and I'm here to tell you that...
The Pharisees and the scribes have basically lost their way, and they've decided to take, and we talked about this in previous chapters, they decided to embrace human traditions more than they looked at God's own commands.
And they thought in their minds somehow that the traditions that were created by previous generations were more important than the commands they had received directly from God.
And Jesus was breaking that.
So his disciples are having trouble wrapping their head around it still, and they keep messing up.
That's why I love disciples, because they're like us.
They're like us.
It's so hard to grasp a lot of these things at first until we realize that they are the truth and the way from Jesus' own words.
But it goes on...
Jesus explains what eunuchs are.
Now, a lot of people associate eunuchs with the people who've been castrated and all that stuff, but Jesus says there are three kinds of eunuchs.
Which is an interesting thought.
There are eunuchs that are born that way from their mother's womb.
So obviously eunuchs who have, you know, an inability to propagate or they've been born deformed or whatever I think would be the first one.
There are eunuchs who are made by men and I think that's referring to the ones where they're castrated because, you know, in those days these kings would have a harem of women and in order to have servants to help those women and to be in the castle they wouldn't really trust them around those women.
So they would castrate them, obviously, to take away their ability to go and have intercourse with the wives that were for the king or whatever at the time.
Then he says, there are eunuchs who have made themselves that way because of the kingdom of heaven.
Now, the eunuchs that he's referring to in the third instance are the people who choose to be celibate because they want to devote their whole life and passion toward honoring God and promoting and pushing the kingdom of heaven out into the world as far and as wide as they can.
Now, that's not a bad thing.
So I don't see it as a bad thing if a man chooses not to get married.
I see it as a sign that he is, in essence, trying...
As long as they're doing it for the reason of trying to promote the kingdom of heaven, then I don't see any problem with it.
And some of you out there may be single, and it's okay.
But I encourage you to go find a wife, because a wife brings much happiness.
And there's Proverbs 31, if you want to read it in...
About what a good wife is.
Proverbs 31, if you want to go read through that, it'll tell you what a good wife is.
And if you can find a woman that checks all those boxes, you're a lucky man.
And I think I am a lucky man because I've done that in my life.
And I'm thankful to God every day.
But remember, when you build your relationship with a woman, if I'm giving relationship advice, not that I'm the best for everything, but...
Build your relationship on God.
Share God openly with your partner and trust in Him and remember to love God above even each other and to share that with one another openly because it's only through God's love toward us that we're able to love one another and that's what we have to remember in this world that is so broken and fallen.
And how do we save Christianity?
Well...
We go out and we make disciples.
And we can do that in many different ways.
But that's Jesus telling us about divorce.
So, somebody here says, So is it wrong to stand for your marriage?
Stand for your marriage.
So is it wrong to stand for your marriage?
I don't know what that means.
No.
You should stand for your marriage always.
Yeah, I mean, always stand up for your marriage.
If that's what you're asking...
You should fight for your marriage, yes.
You should always fight for your marriage.
And if it's not working, then try to work it out.
You have to work it out.
Unless there's sexual immorality involved, Jesus is saying, you committed to this for the long haul.
So, you know, with God all things are possible.
So if you're going through a tough time in your marriage and you're not sure what things are happening, go to God and encourage your partner, your significant other, to go to God with you.
And God will help you guys solve it.
Now, there's also things like counseling.
I would always encourage that.
There's things like getting involved with your church and talking to your pastors, and they have counseling there too.
And, you know, finding ways to love one another more deeply is always an important thing.
And going the extra mile, putting forth the effort, all that stuff.
I mean, it's what it's going to take.
Oh, after a divorce of cheating, well...
No, I mean, I think Jesus is saying that if you've been, if divorce came from cheating, then you're in the clear.
And assuming you're not the cheater, and you were the one who was cheated on, but even if you were the cheater, you can repent and go to God and give forgiveness, and you can rebuild your life with God.
I mean, the fact of the matter is, I'm not the expert on all of this stuff, but I do know that what we just read here is Jesus outlining where divorce is permissible.
But it's never over.
Don't ever give up.
Don't ever think that because you've gone down a path like that with divorce that it's all over.
You're going to make it.
You're going to be okay.
So just go to God in prayer.
Go find, you know, get a good church.
Find a pastor who can help you through all this stuff.
Get involved.
There's support groups at churches that help with these things.
I know my church has a bunch of different groups that, you know, meet and they're people who've gone through things and they share a lot together and that's how they uplift one another to God and But it's never over, okay?
Your life is never that far gone.
You can always come back to Jesus.
So don't ever think you're too far gone, no matter what side of the divorce you were on.
But I'd say if they cheat on you, then it wasn't meant to be anyway, right?
That would be my opinion.
I'm not an expert.
Just my opinion.
So anyway, that's where we'll leave it.
We'll end it with a prayer, and then we'll wrap it up.
Lord and Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this day.
Lord, I pray for all those out there questioning things right now.
I pray for all those in the audience who are questioning their life when they had to go through a divorce or they've been through a divorce and they're wondering what to do now or they're wondering where they need to go next and how they can overcome such a devastating life event.
Lord, I pray you'll speak to their heart right now.
I pray that you'll show them a sign.
Show them the way.
Open their eyes to see what's going on that they need to be paying attention to that they may have missed up to this point.
Lord, let us take your words and meditate on them and use them as a way for us to understand this world better.
And how to overcome and how to find discernment and wisdom and strength and courage.
We thank you for this explanation and we thank you for all your great blessings.
And we pray and thanks most of all for our eternal salvation.
