| New York Times editorial board calls for indictment of President Trump on made-up charges. | |
| And you cannot stress the made-up part about this because reading through the actual article itself and then reading through this write-up about the article here, there's absolutely nothing based in reality that they could be arresting President Trump for other than their editorial opinion is that Trump should be arrested. | |
| I mean, listen to this. | |
| The New York Times editorial board called on Attorney General Merrick Garland to seek an indictment of former President Trump I love the word if. | |
| If sufficient evidence exists to establish his guilt on a serious charge. | |
| Well, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, right? | |
| What a Merry Christmas we would have. | |
| The board argued in a piece published Friday that, quote, Mr. | |
| Trump's unprecedented assault on the integrity of American democracy requires a criminal investigation following the January 6th Select Committee hearings and news of the Justice Department's search of Trump's Palm Beach, Florida home for classified documents, quote, This board is aware that in deciding how Mr. | |
| Trump should be held accountable under the law, it is necessary to consider not just whether criminal prosecution would be warranted, but whether it would be wise. | |
| Oh, okay. | |
| So they're saying that if we prosecute him, would it be wise? | |
| Well, how many times have you prosecuted him already? | |
| I mean, honestly, how many times can you prosecute somebody before the definition of insanity starts to apply? | |
| But it goes on, the board argued that despite the risk of violence that could stem from the criminal indictment of Trump, it is warranted and wise because Trump has, quote, brought shame, unquote, to America and, quote, destabilized its future, unquote, with his alleged crimes, which they don't go through what its crimes are because he's not committed any. | |

| It goes on to say, The editorial titled, Donald Trump is not above the law, began with clear declaration. | |

| Trump's unprecedented assault on the integrity of American democracy requires a criminal investigation, and the editorial board agreed that, quote, the disturbing details of the post-election malfeasance meticulously assembled by the January 6th committee leaves little doubt that Mr. | |
| Trump sought to subvert the Constitution and overturn the will of the American people, unquote. | |
| Okay, so... | |
| Trump's guilty of some made-up crime that they don't really outline in any detail. | |
| You know, he's guilty of disturbing of post-election malfeasance, and he's guilty of bringing shame to the American people. | |
| Well, if that's the case, I mean, I could think of a dozen or more people that should be in jail right now for what they've done to this country, and that's just if we're going by those standards that aren't really legally applicable. | |
| But no, it's another nothing burger, and the funny thing is that They go in to do these whole editorials about Trump and how he needs to go to jail, but Joe Biden's molesting his own children, taking bribes from our enemies, engaged in quid pro quo, withholding taxpayer funding to other foreign countries to get his son off the hook with some prosecutor in Ukraine. | |
| And we don't have an editorial board at the New York Times talking about that, do we? | |
| No, but remember what they did and remember what, you know, they call us, there was this quote that Joe Biden came out and called us semi-fascists now. | |
| Because first it was fascists, now we're just semi-fascists. | |
| So I don't know why the downgrade, but I guess it's something to do with videos like this where, you know, this is a great cut together that shows who are the real fascists. | |

| Our homicides have been up 32%. | |

| President Trump calling for a new election immediately after FBI admits to hiding Hunter Laptop's story interfering in the 2020 race. | |
| Former Republican President Donald Trump, or still President Donald Trump, posted to his true social account Monday slamming the FBI's bearing of the Hunter Biden story, saying the agency engaged in election interference, saying... | |
| So, now it comes out conclusively that the FBI buried the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election knowing that if they didn't, Trump would have easily won the 2020 presidential election. | |
| This is massive fraud and election interference at a level never seen before in our country. | |
| The remedy? | |
| Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 election irreparably compromised and have a new election immediately. | |
| I couldn't agree more. | |
| I mean, we've talked about this ad nauseum for the last two years since the election itself. | |
| Since, you know, the thought police at YouTube and big tech censors came and smashed us with the hammer and took us out of the equation, throwing us into the memory hole for talking about things like Hunter Biden's laptop and how the election was fraud. | |
| But... | |
| You know, I just look at it this way. | |
| Trump's saying what we've all been thinking for a long time, but I think there's a blind spot that we're going to talk about in a minute here with the vaccines that Trump's totally missing. | |
| Another story here, Trump calls on FBI whistleblowers to step forward. | |
| Yep, here's another story. | |
| It says, this is Trump, saying, one of the great agents and others in the FBI going to say, we aren't going to take it anymore, much as they did when James Comey read off a list of all crooked Hillary Clinton's crimes, only to say that no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute. | |
| The wonderful people of the FBI went absolutely nuts, so Comey had to backtrack and do a fake investigation in order to keep them at bay. | |
| The end result we won in 2016 and did much better in 2020, but now the left has lost their minds. | |
| And I think that's where we're at. | |
| I mean, we've come to an impasse where... | |
| Even back in 2015 and 2016, they had to at least try to make it look like there was the rule of law and not a two-tier justice system. | |
| Now, they just do whatever they want with impunity. | |
| They think they can get away with murder, literally, in a lot of cases. | |
| And they can get away with the figurative murder of our democracy and our republic. | |
| so if they can get away with that, I mean, where are the whistleblowers? | |
| When are you guys going to step up? | |
| That's my real question. | |
| I mean, Mick Mulvaney points it out perfectly here, saying, so if the classified documents from Mar-a-Lago turn out to be from Crossfire Hurricane, the 2016 Russia hoax, and they exonerate Trump, what happens next, right? | |
| What are you going to do in the FBI? | |
| I mean, to all the FBI agents and all the law enforcement officers out there who are watching this or somehow get this information, what are you going to do with it? | |
| Are we going to let these criminals continue to destroy our country? | |
| Or are we going to do something about it? | |

| You know, it's really good when the law enforcement officers, and I don't even know why I'm laughing at this, it's really good when the corrupt law enforcement agency that is not supposed to have access to your attorney-client privilege information takes it illegally in an illegal raid, signed off on by a compromised judge, then they look through it, read your attorney-client privilege documents, then tell you they've taken your attorney-client privilege documents by accident. | |

| They just took attorney-client privilege documents, read through them, then said, oh, we made a mistake. | |

| Federal judge siding with Trump announcing preliminary intent for a special master. | |
| Oh, well now we're going to have a special master. | |
| Oh, somebody to go through all the documents to make sure there's no attorney-client privilege information within them? | |
| Oh, well it's good that we have the judge siding with Trump after the FBI has already come out and told us that they've read through his attorney-client privilege materials. | |
| Because that's helpful. | |
| Because that's justice. | |
| That's like not a two-tier justice at all, guys. | |
| That's totally reasonable. | |
| And the FBI, you know, because in their defense, they say they routinely work with social media companies to censor threat info. | |
| Yeah. | |
| So... | |
| It's not a big deal that they went to big tech Facebook and Twitter and YouTube and told them to delete all the accounts of people that were reporting stories that would have negatively affected the political outcome that they wanted. | |
| It's not. | |
| That's routine. | |
| That's like a Tuesday afternoon at the FBI, okay? | |
| That's not. | |
| This is not out of the ordinary for them. | |
| So it's okay, guys. | |
| You know? | |
| So, I mean, duh. | |
| Duh. | |
| Gosh, you guys are such conspiracy theorists. | |
| As if it's not routine for them to interfere in our elections. | |
| It's what they do. | |
| It's like on-the-job listing when you get hired, when you respond to a Craigslist ad for the FBI. Right on cue, Ben Shapiro blames President Trump for Republicans losing steam in midterms. | |
| Good thing he sucks at predictions. | |
| You know, I read through this long thread of Ben Shapiro's... | |
| You know, I don't particularly care for Ben Shapiro at all, just on a personal level. | |
| And I think he's kind of a smug, little smarmy little kid. | |
| But... | |
| That being said, his point is not invalid. | |
| His whole argument is this. | |
| I'll summarize it for you without having to read through the full thread. | |
| He says that Democrats don't want to talk about Biden, the failing economy, the inflation, everything else, all of his foreign policy failures. | |
| That Democrats don't want to talk about it. | |
| So now they've turned the conversation once again into Trump 24-7. | |
| Because he says in his little rant on Twitter that essentially people don't vote for things in our country. | |
| They vote against things. | |
| And if there's one thing that the Democrats know how to do, it's get people to vote against Donald Trump. | |
| So their whole push with the Trump raid at Mar-a-Lago and everything else was to switch the narrative away from Biden having dementia, Biden failing at every economic policy, every foreign policy, everything you could imagine, the worst president of all time, and that they want to switch it back to Trump-Russia, Trump collusion, Trump breaking laws, Trump bad man, orange man bad. | |
| And the Republicans are like, yeah, let's do that. | |
| That sounds like a great idea. | |
| So he's not wrong, but at the same time, it doesn't excuse the fact that they are politically, it's a witch hunt against Trump at this point, and that's obvious, and it hasn't stopped. | |
| So they see a strategy that works. | |
| It's deflect off Joe Biden and then go all in on Trump because it's what gets the headlines, it gets the clicks, it gets everybody ginned up, and it gets the voters out there pissed and ready to vote against Trump, not for their failing party. | |
| So, I don't know. | |
| I think he's got a point. | |
| As much as I don't care for the individual, he is right in a lot of ways with that. | |
| As an FBI intelligence chief has come out and says, no case against Trump, well, no kidding. | |
| The DOJ doesn't have a case against Trump. | |
| So this was all political. | |
| This was all ahead of the midterm to switch the narrative back to Trump is evil, orange man bad. | |
| Let's rile up the voters. | |
| Let's go 24-7 on the fake news saying that Trump basically selling nuclear secrets to our enemies. | |
| Trump's the person who's responsible for all evil in the world. | |
| And it seems to be working, you know, especially when you even have Lindsey Graham coming out to defend Trump. | |
| I mean, I love this. | |
| Watch. | |
| Say this. | |
| If there's a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle, which you presided over and did a hell of a good job, there'll be riots in the streets. | |
| They did such a good job on the Hillary Clinton debacle that she's still free and not in jail for acid-washing those servers and Benghazi and all of the criminal activities that she's been involved with, smashing her BlackBerrys, destroying evidence after it was subpoenaed. | |
| And then all the crimes with the Clinton Foundation, all the crimes in Haiti with Laura Sillsby. | |
| You can go look that up. | |
| All the crimes with the uranium one and the Obama administration and who knows what other kind of sick, disgusting things and evil stuff she's been involved in. | |
| So, you know, Lindsey Graham, when he's on your side, you know you're definitely in good graces of the Republicans, right? | |
| But this is a report from Greg Reese about the Trump vaccine. | |
| And I'm just going to play it and I'm going to let you guys decide for yourself what you think of it. | |
| But I think this is a report that's worth watching. | |
| So let's, let's go ahead and watch. | |
| According to Pfizer's very limited human trials, 87% of pregnant mothers lost their babies after receiving the shot and And for those who survived the deadly shot and are able to reproduce, their offspring's DNA is now forever mutated. | |
| There is now irrefutable proof that the mRNA vaccines are a deadly toxin. | |
| Aside from the relentless debilitating spike protein that's keeping everyone who has been jabbed sick, the vaccines contain metals. | |
| Metals that have been observed to self-assemble outside of the body, and most disturbingly, metals that assemble inside of the body. | |
| Studies show that these metals are found in the blood of 94% of those who have received a COVID vaccine. | |
| And these mysterious conglomerates of metal make their final appearance in the dead. | |
| All over the world, coroners are now finding that the arteries of the vaccinated have been clogged with mysterious growths. | |
| Non-organic masses made up of conductive metals, such as aluminum, Sodium and tin. | |
| This is what's most likely causing all the organ failure and heart attacks. | |

| Two days ago, I flew out my first 10 year old with a heart attack and I had to fight the doctor in the ER because he's like, 10 year olds don't have heart attacks. | |
| And I argued back and forth for 30 minutes to force his hand to get an EKG to find out that he had almost a complete STEMI, which is ST-elevated myocardial infarction, for which you could see it lit up on the 12-lead EKG. And he's like, well, that's not possible. | |
| And I'm like, well, he was just vaccinated yesterday. | |
| It is very much possible. | |
| At any given time, people are getting a hold of me and the nurse advocates at American Frontline Nurses to help advocate, because as you've seen, there is victim shaming. | |

| But in actuality, if they put down that it was a vaccine injury, the physician, the corporation, the hospital, the clinic, they actually won't get reimbursed, so it gets labeled as anxiety. | |
| According to the whistleblowers, the doctors are lying about the vaccine deaths to make a few thousand bucks. | |
| Is that why Trump has been pushing the deadly shots? | |
| Killing our own children for a measly million dollars? | |
| Now that the truth about the deadly COVID vaccines is finally starting to break free, the mainstream media is shifting their narrative. | |
| And blaming it all on President Trump. | |
| And they've already laid the groundwork back in 2016, when the herd was told to believe that Trump is literally Hitler. | |
| We should look at Adolf Hitler in 1929. | |
| He was a kind of a funny kind of character that said the things that people were thinking. | |
| Where Donald Trump takes it, I have absolutely no idea. | |
| But Donald Trump is a dangerous man with the things that he has been saying. | |
| You might argue that Trump is innocent, but he doesn't. | |
| He brags of all the lives he has saved, and the herd will believe what they are told to believe. | |
| It shows you how unpainful that vaccine shot is, so everybody go get your shot. | |
| It works incredibly well, 95%, maybe even more than that. | |
| It works incredibly well. | |
| It's a great vaccine, it's a safe vaccine, and it's something that works. | |
| I recommend you take it, but I also believe in your freedoms 100%. | |
| When you have the vaccine, people that do, and it's a very small number, relatively, but people that do get it get better much quicker. | |
| That's a very important thing to know. | |
| They don't get nearly as sick, and they get better. | |
| Lindsey Graham's an example. | |
| He said, if I didn't have this vaccine, I would have died. | |
| And you know what? | |
| I believe totally in your freedoms. | |
| I do. | |
| You've got to do what you have to do. | |

| I recommend taking the vaccines. | |

| The vaccines do work and they are effective. | |
| I am, I think I saved many, I don't think, I know, I saved millions and millions of lives throughout the world. | |
| We could have had another Spanish flu. | |
| We could have had, you know, in 1917, close to 100 million people died, they say. | |
| But it was really bad. | |
| And now other countries are using our vaccines and, you know, they're tremendously successful. | |
| You're playing right into their hands when you're sort of like, oh, the vaccine. | |
| If you don't want to take it, you shouldn't be forced to take it. | |
| No mandates. | |
| But take credit, because we saved tens of millions of lives. | |
| Take credit. | |
| Don't let them take that away from you. | |

| You know, Dave over in X22 reports been saying that his belief or understanding is that, you know, Trump was aware of this plan to keep COVID going for eight or 10 years and that it was going to kill millions of people. | |
| And so he had to roll out the facts to appease whatever these people wanted. | |
| But I think either way, Trump did play into their hands. | |
| Because think about it. | |
| If the vaccine's killing people, then it wouldn't matter if Trump had let COVID stay and it killed people too. | |
| Because either way, if their whole agenda was to kill people in this depopulation plan or whatever it is, rewrite our DNA, whatever you want to call it, then they would have accomplished it by either means. | |
| So I think it's kind of pointless to sit back here and play armchair quarterback on Monday after the game. | |
| But I do think it's a blind spot for Trump because some people say that it won't accomplish anything for him to address it because politically it'll hurt him with the people that he needs to get to vote for him. | |
| And other people say, you know, like myself, have said, well, it's injured people I know and love who took this thing and they've had adverse effects and they've seen people with adverse effects. | |
| And I'll say this, that... | |
| You have to think for yourself on this. | |
| This is not me telling you what to think. | |
| I'm just saying, for me as an individual, the truth is always the best option, no matter what. | |
| And I think the truth is that I don't trust this vaccine. | |
| But I do put my faith in God, and I know God is with us. | |
| So I know that whatever... | |
| I don't fear anything because I know that God is at our side. | |
| So... | |
| It's just where we're at. | |
| But here's another story. | |
| British government begins paying $140,000 to COVID-19 vaccine injured victims. | |
| But there is no evidence. | |
| We should all go get vaxxed, right? | |

| This is Aaron Rodgers with Joe Rogan saying they didn't follow up on Aaron Rodgers revealing how woke media allowed him to obscure his vaccine status. | |
| ...for this question and had thought about how I wanted to answer it. | |
| And I... Conclusion, I'm going to say I've been immunized. | |
| And if there's a follow-up, then talk about my process. | |
| But thought there's a possibility that I say I'm immunized. | |
| Maybe they understand what that means. | |

| They didn't follow up. | |
| So then I go the season, them thinking, some of them, That I was vaccinated, right? | |
| Because the only follow-up they asked was basically asking me to rip on my teammates. | |
| Like, what do you say to your teammates who aren't vaccinated? | |
| Like, what kind of example do you feel like you're setting, you know, to your teammates who aren't vaccinated? | |
| I said, hey, it's everybody's own decision with their body, and we're super healthy individuals. | |
| We take care of ourselves. | |
| We understand what goes in our bodies, and I don't have any judgment on any decision that a guy makes with their own body, right? | |
| Yeah, so that's him there talking about how the fake news basically was trying to leverage him into doing something to convince other people. | |
| This is a better example. | |
| There's a little bit of cursing here, so just an FYI, warning, heads up. | |
| But it's going into how the government was actually pressuring the NFL to have this high vaccination rate so that they could get other people to take the vaccine. | |

| And I want you to do it publicly so that I can get more money out of those other people that are thinking about it and they're on the fence. | |

| And then we're going to virtue signal and say, look how righteous our league is. | |
| We have 95% compliance with the vaccine. | |

| And if you don't, we're going to send a stooge to your team to show you graphs of your vaccination percentage of your team compared to the rest of the league, which actually happened. | |

| What was the stooge like? | |

| See, again, that's why people are like, no one knew your vaccination status, you lied to your teammates. | |

| Day three of training camp, they sent this stooge in, and he showed these slides about what your vaccination percentage was on your team, where you compared to the rest of the league. | |
| And I started asking him questions about liability. | |
| Oh, I'm not a lawyer. | |
| Okay, cool. | |
| But you're in here talking about all these different things, and you don't talk about anybody's personal health issues. | |
| There's zero exemptions. | |
| You took out religious exemptions. | |
| You took out... | |
| Anybody's ability to have an opinion. | |
| I don't want to do this. | |
| Well, it's not only going to affect your day-to-day status on the team, but your ability to get a job, your ability to keep a job, your ability to get a tryout if you get cut from this team, because you want to put a percentage above 90% of your team where you guys can have some sort of special virtue. | |
| Look how amazing we are. | |
| We're above the 90% threshold here. | |
| And then they scared teams. | |
| They said if you had an outbreak caused by a non-vaccinated player, you'd not only forfeit that game if you had enough players out, but you wouldn't get paid for that week. | |
| And here I am showing up to training camp, Joe, the first day, and we got five people who work for the organization out with COVID all fully vaxxed. | |
| *laughs* And I got COVID from a fully vaxxed individual who only got vaxxed to keep his potential of being a part of the NFL. Yeah, so can you imagine? | |
| I mean, that's what they're doing. | |
| That was a part of the PSYOP that they're running against us all. | |
| I mean, it was clear as day when it was happening, and... | |
| I find it fascinating that that's where we're at. | |

| Apparently, a pro-Mukhtada Sadar protest and unrest have reportedly resulted in Baghdad's high-secure green zone being breached Monday, placing international diplomatic missions and foreign embassies under threat. | |
| AFP is reporting that the exchange of gunfire has been observed as dozens or possibly hundreds of supporters riot, with police using riot control measures like water cannons to repel an attack on the green zone. | |

| We're finishing it up today, and Jesus is giving us more parables, saying, in this one, The kingdom of heaven is like treasure buried in a field that a man found and reburied. | |
| Then in his joy he goes and sells everything he has and buys that field. | |
| And I'm going to tell you what that means, along with a lot of other parables that Jesus gives us, and what that means for us as Christians in our God's Grace is Greater segment. | |

| Fiona Hill, to moderate cyber disruption and disinformation discussion in Avalon Academy. | |
| You guys remember Fiona Hill? | |
| She was the one who came out in September of 2021 regarding the phone call that was perfectly fine according to President Trump, which we know that now. | |
| And she was the one going after President Trump in that impeachment. | |
| And, yeah, she's the one who's going to be telling us all about cyber disruption and disinformation. | |
| So Fiona Hill will be moderating a discussion on cyber disruption and disinformation Thursday at a U.S. Naval Institute or at the U.S. Naval Institute. | |
| Hill is infamous for her hearsay testimony in the first impeachment back in September of 2021 regarding a phone call she was not party to. | |

| No, they just want to have the right to, you know, murder their own children. | |
| You know, abortions so they can have their rituals. | |
| You know, and perform satanic, you know, rituals in front of as many children as they can and indoctrinate them into Satanism. | |
| It's not evil, though, they say. | |
| We live in a fallen world, but that's why we have our God's Grace is Greater segment. | |
| Like I said, we're finishing up chapter 13 of the book of Matthew, and we're going to read a few more of Jesus' parables, and we're going to talk about what they mean, and we're going to get through the end of this. | |
| So, I hope you guys are ready. | |
| Let's go ahead and read through this now. | |
| We're starting in chapter 13, verse 44, and we're going all the way up to 58, and let's read through these. | |
| The Kingdom of Heaven. | |
| This is Jesus. | |
| Now, remember, the context here is Jesus is giving these parables to his followers because he's shown all the miracles. | |
| He's performed all these miracles. | |
| He's shown them. | |
| You know, at this point, what he says is that he's fulfilling prophecies, filling prophecy out of the book of Psalms. | |
| He's filling prophecy out of the book of Isaiah. | |
| He's fulfilling the prophecies that were of his coming. | |
| And in order to do that, in what we talked about in the last chapter, Yeah, I think it was Psalm 78, but... | |
| Yes, Psalm 78 verse 2. | |
| He was fulfilling that by giving them parallels that they wouldn't be able to understand, especially those who were not able to actually see and understand the true kingdom that Jesus was bringing with him. | |
| And so then he starts giving the crowds that were following in parables, because a lot of these people were still seeing miracles and not believing. | |
| So he was like, alright, well now I'm going to fulfill Psalm 78 verse 2, and I'm going to teach you guys through parables that you'll only understand if you truly believe in me. | |
| So let's go ahead and read some of these. | |
| The first one here, The kingdom of heaven is like treasure buried in a field that a man found and reburied. | |
| Then in his joy, he goes and sells everything he had and buys that field. | |
| Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls. | |
| When he found one priceless pearl, he went and sold everything he had and bought it. | |
| Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a large net thrown into the sea. | |
| They collected every kind of fish, and when it was full, they dragged it ashore, sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but through the worthless ones, or throughout the worthless ones. | |
| So it will be at the end of age. | |
| The angels will go out, separate the evil people from the righteous, and throw them into the blazing furnace. | |
| In that place, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. | |
| Have you understood all these things? | |
| He's directing this at his disciples, I believe. | |
| Yes, they told him. | |
| It says, Finally, it goes on. | |
| He went to his hometown and began to teach them in their synagogue. | |
| So they were astonished and said, How did this wisdom and these miracles come to him? | |
| Isn't this the carpenter's son? | |
| Isn't his mother called Mary? | |
| His brothers called James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas? | |
| And his sisters, aren't they all with us? | |
| So where does he get all these things? | |
| And they were offended by him. | |
| But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown. | |
| And in his household. | |
| And he did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief. | |
| Okay, so there's a lot to unpack here, and I'm going to try my best to give you my best explanation for each one. | |
| The first two are pretty simple. | |
| He's talking about the parable of the hidden treasure and the parable of the priceless pearl. | |
| In both examples, Somebody finds a treasure that is priceless, that is the most amazing and best treasure you could ever find. | |
| In the first one, this man finds an incredible treasure in a field that he doesn't own yet. | |
| So what does he do? | |
| He sells all of his possessions so he can just buy that field. | |
| And then he will possess that treasure because that's how it would work in those days just as it would in these days with private property. | |
| And... | |
| In those days, whatever was buried in the land belonged to the landowner. | |
| So this man found this treasure, and then he had to go to the landowner and buy it. | |
| So he had to sell everything he had to get it, but he knew there was a treasure there that was worth everything he had. | |
| And in the same way, the kingdom of heaven is a treasure that's worth everything that we have. | |
| And all we have to do is give everything that we have to Jesus, and then we can receive that eternal salvation that comes from the sacrifice made on the cross. | |
| And that is the kingdom of heaven, as Jesus is explaining, as well as the same goes for the search for fine pearls. | |
| He found a priceless pearl, and when he knew it was something that he couldn't have unless he sold everything he had to go buy it, the ability to get it, so he did that, and he got it in the same exact way. | |
| The kingdom of heaven is worth everything that we have, and that's all we have to do is give everything we have to God, and we can receive that eternal salvation. | |
| Now, For some people that's hard. | |
| Some, it's easy. | |
| But for all of us, we have to make that cognitive knowledge, that choice. | |
| We have to make that choice to give everything we have to God to receive that eternal salvation that comes from Christ. | |
| And then again, he's giving this, I believe that he's giving this talk from a boat right now to a large group of people who are on the shore with his disciples. | |
| And he says that the kingdom of heaven is like a large net thrown into the sea that gathers many fish. | |
| Right? | |
| So Jesus is saying that pretty much what he's saying, I believe in this, is that the kingdom of heaven is for all. | |
| You're all going to be pulled into this kingdom of heaven. | |
| But then, again, it's your choice. | |
| He's stressing the choice that has to be made. | |
| The choice is this. | |
| Do you live your life as a good person, following Christ, and giving everything you have to him so that you may receive that eternal salvation that's been promised, or do you not? | |
| And he says in the same way as they would separate the good fish from the bad fish, that at the end of the age, as he says, the angels will go out and separate the evil from the righteous. | |
| And the evil will go to a place of fire and weeping and gnashing of teeth. | |
| And that is hell, a lake of fire. | |
| And that the good will go to heaven with Jesus. | |
| And that's, I mean, he's trying to give them simple ways of understanding all this. | |
| But then he turns to presumably his disciples and asks them, have you understood all these things? | |
| Meaning, he's asking them, have you understood all these parables that I'm telling you? | |
| Do you get what I'm saying? | |
| And they said yes. | |
| So he says to them, every student of scripture instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who brings out of his storeroom what is new and what is old. | |
| When Jesus had finished these parables, he left there. | |
| So, I think what this is referring to is Jesus telling him that it's up to you, as his disciples, I think, is who he's directly referencing in this exchange. | |
| He's saying it's up to you, but also us, right? | |
| Also all of us as disciples of Christ and followers of Christ. | |
| He's saying it's up to us. | |
| To take what's new and take what's old and put that together as valuable and understand what is valuable from that. | |
| Meaning, I think it's a reconciliation of what he's preaching, his new gospel that he's bringing into the world, the gospel of light, the gospel of truth, the gospel of hope, the gospel of Christ. | |
| We have to reconcile that with what's been taught in the Old Testament and reconcile that his new gospel has to go with the Old Testament teachings. | |
| And we have to make those work together. | |
| Because, I believe in that parable, he's saying that the kingdom of heaven is like when you take both those things and put them together. | |
| That's just the way I read it. | |
| Finally, he goes to his own hometown of Nazareth, and he begins to teach in their synagogue. | |
| And they were astonished, but they said, How did this wisdom and these miracles come to Jesus? | |
| Isn't Jesus the carpenter's son? | |
| Isn't Jesus the guy whose mother is Mary? | |
| The guy whose brother is James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? | |
| And his sisters, aren't they all here with us? | |
| Where did he get all these things? | |
| And they were offended by him. | |
| Now remember that. | |
| They were offended by him. | |
| They were offended by Jesus. | |
| For what? | |
| For preaching the gospel of love and the light to them, to performing miracles for them, to having followers that he amassed through performing miracles and being the Son of God, but also a Son of Man who was there in flesh and blood to save us all, they didn't want to receive the kingdom. | |
| They were making a choice to be offended by him offering them salvation as the Son of God. | |
| So, what does Jesus say? | |
| He says, Now, that could be interpreted a few different ways, but I think the simplest way to understand it is that Jesus understood that Well, there's a few ways. | |
| There's one part that says that Jesus may have been understanding that if he were to perform too many miracles, then that would go against the prophecy of Isaiah that said that he would come in an unassuming way, and that he had to make it so that people had to make that choice. | |
| I think that's what this is all drawing to, is the choice. | |
| You either believe or you don't. | |
| You either see a man performing miracles who is the Son of God in front of your eyes, and you choose to believe that, or you don't. | |
| And he's saying in his own hometown, you are not going to take me seriously because it's so unbelievable to you that a son of man, the son of man, the son of God, could come from this place where you are. | |
| And that you're incapable of even remotely wrapping your head around the fact that I am the son of God. | |
| So he's basically saying... | |
| I'm not going to perform these miracles because he knows, Jesus being the Son of God, having the wisdom, the eternal wisdom that he has, that their hearts are not going to change, no matter what he does, because they're always going to see him as the carpenter's son. | |
| And in a lot of ways, that's speaking to our society as a whole right now. | |
| A lot of people are never going to change their heart about Jesus because they're always going to see him as less than what he truly was, the Son of God, incarnate, come to live and to die for our sins. | |
| So that we may have eternal salvation. | |
| They just... | |
| They won't... | |
| They refuse to believe it no matter what you do. | |
| You could show them miracles directly to their face and they won't believe. | |
| But... | |
| That's the way I read it. | |
| So I just thought I'd share that with you, of course. | |
| That's us finishing Chapter 13 today, and I hope you guys thought that was helpful and insightful, and tomorrow we'll be starting Chapter 14, so I hope you guys stick around for that. | |

| I pray that just as we see in these parables, help us understand what the Kingdom of Heaven is. | |
| Understand the value that is beyond anything we could imagine. | |
| To understand that it's worth everything we have. | |
| And if we have to give up everything we have for it, Lord, help us do that. | |
| Let us do that. | |
| And let us do it with a glad heart. | |
| Let us do it with rejoicing. | |
| Let us do it with the pride that is only humbled before you, Lord. | |
| And Lord, we give great thanks in all ways, in all things, for every blessing. | |
| And for all those who are doubting right now, all those who are suffering, all those who are not sure, help their hearts see clearly your glory and help them find you and make the choice to turn their lives over to you today. | |
| We thank you for this day and every day, and most of all, our eternal salvation bought and paid for with the blood of Christ on the cross. | |
