Hi and welcome to another episode of Just Informed Talk.
My name is Craig and you guys know we always have guests that are awesome and cool.
Today is not any different because we have an awesome and cool guest.
His name is Seth.
He actually made the group, the Venice Beach Dub Club.
He performs this awesome music that you guys should all check out.
And I'm just totally blessed and honored to have met him.
We hung out recently in Coachella at this AmFest West.
He did a performance with Anomaly, and it was really awesome.
So I really, really am excited to have him on as a guest because I always want to get a diversity of different music, right?
Because music's so important to life.
It's part of who we are in a lot of ways, and his music especially, and his band and all the guys that he works with, It's top-notch stuff.
It raises your energy to a higher level where you're just feeling positivity and uplifting stuff.
So that's kind of my sales pitch for his music.
I'll leave links to it all below and we'll get them.
But let me welcome him to the show again for the second time because I didn't record the first time.
Welcome to the show, Seth.
Why don't you introduce yourself to the audience out there?
Yeah, absolutely.
My name's Seth.
I'm the man by Inventa Speech Dub Club.
People just call me VBDC usually.
And it's a righteous reggae group.
You know, reggae is supposed to be righteous music, and I'm trying to kind of reattach those concepts together and just producing as much high-quality music as I can for a based audience who gets totally underserved.
Everything that sounds highly produced is like a horrible message and amoral and everything.
So I'm trying to correct that imbalance and just put out as much music as I can.
can.
I also have a podcast I do on Instagram live called talkie time that I do every day at 630 California time.
And I also sell some based t shirts and funny stuff, meme shirts and stuff like that.
So that's it, man.
I'm just trying to make a positive contribution.
Thanks for having I was a longtime listener of Just In Form Talk.
It was part of my morning routine for a long time, so I'm stoked to be here.
Yeah, that's kind of how we got, like, into the whole conversation because, you know, we just kind of met randomly at the conference there, and I saw you talking to Anomaly, and I kind of met you, and you were like, at first, I think I introduced myself at that event that one night, and you came back to me a few minutes later, and you're like, wait, did you say JustInformTalk?
Yeah.
It's so funny, yeah, because it was loud in there and they were playing the house music.
And you were just standing there and I was standing there.
I was like, what's up, brother?
How are you?
And we just started having a nice chat.
And you said Just Informed Talk, but it was loud and I couldn't really hear it.
And I was just like, I don't want to ask again, so it's fine.
And we talked for probably like a good 10, 15 minutes.
And I was like, tell me the name of your show again.
And you're like, Just Informed Talk.
And I was like, wait a minute.
I love that show.
I was like, holy cow, you're Craig.
And I hit you with the God's grace is greater and all that stuff to prove I'm a real fan.
Yeah.
Yeah, man.
That was like, that was totally God thing, man.
You know, God does things, brings us together in ways that, you know, you can't even imagine sometimes.
And I know there's a reason why you're here on the show, because as soon as I heard your music, it kind of dawned on me that it was something I'd been missing.
You know, I grew up in Florida, in South Florida particularly, and I'm used to a lot of reggae and, you know, the Caribbean vibe music.
And I, you know, moving out West, you don't get a lot of that here.
And so when I started listening to your stuff, I'm like, man, this is really good and positive.
And then after I kind of talked to you more later and figured out who you were and what you believe and all that stuff, it was just such a great connection to make because, like, for instance, I'll give you an example.
So I had Bryson Gray on the show a long time ago, back in like, I want to say two years ago maybe, two years or more ago, maybe three years ago, and it was right when he was first starting out, and his channel was still not that big, and he didn't have a huge following, but he was growing like fast, right?
I had them on because I was like, I just was like, I like the music.
It wasn't like anything else other than I like the music and I want to share it with my audience.
And that's the same reason I'm having you on because I see growth happening in your channel and I can see that your potential has not nearly been reached as far as where you guys are going to end up when this is all said and done.
So I'm encouraging all of you out there in the audience, I'm challenging you to go listen to his music.
And you can check out his podcast too, but make sure that when you're there, listen to it and listen to the words and feel the energy that he puts out, man, because it's amazing.
And I know you're a Christian.
I know you have strong faith, it seems.
And it seems like your music kind of is pushing this positivity that we're so sorely missing in the world right now, I would say.
And that, you know, why don't you explain your message?
Because I don't want to explain your music to my audience.
I want you to explain your music.
What is your motivation?
How did you get started?
All that stuff.
Well, I think that music is really the most high.
Music is the most high that you hear.
You hear that bandied around a lot in the reggae community.
And what that means really is that, you know, God really started reality with a word, a vibration, you know what I mean?
And music is triggering vibrations that just make you feel something.
And then the lyrics that are attached to that, then you associate that with the feeling you have.
have.
So if a song is all like major chords, or if you hear like Canon and D or something like that, it evokes a certain feeling, just the music, and then the words that are with it, you attach that in your head.
So like what Satan does, basically, is we'll give you like, good music with like a bad message, and you associate the two.
So you're getting a good feeling from a bad message.
And that encourages you to live a bad life.
So, you know, I think it's so important to make popular music for the youth and for the masses that has that good positive message that they're associating with that.
So that makes you want to live a better life when you're just singing something along in your head.
You know what I mean?
That's like overriding the hard drive of your brain.
So if it's a really negative message about drinking lean and staying up all night and money, money and all this stuff, that starts to become your lifestyle.
If it's like gangster rap and you're singing along to it all the time, you start to act that way.
You start to behave that way.
It's so important that we restore the righteousness to music, especially for the youth.
And I always say music is at the top of the influence pyramid when it comes to persuasion.
Because when you think about it, like if a baseball player comes up to bat, he picks a song he wants to come out to.
When a president or a politician wants to come out on stage, they ask to use a song.
You know what I mean?
So it's like everybody wants to be associated with cool music.
So there's such an opportunity to persuade and influence as a music maker.
And that's the whole mission that I'm on.
And also, it's just fun to make music, man.
I love making art and being creative and trying to be a good boy while I do it.
You know what's funny, dude, is exactly what you just said is what I've said before about it.
And, you know...
And you said it way better than I've ever put it, to be honest with you.
The way you just eloquently laid that out is exactly the way I feel.
And I think maybe a lot of you out in the audience agree with this because what he basically hit on is what I've said about how this rap music and stuff, the kids are listening to it, but I didn't connect what you just connected with the way that the music is, like the vibration or the energy that you get from certain songs.
I knew that they use these different four chords or whatever it is, And all that stuff, and Gregorian chants and stuff like that, it evokes a certain feeling and emotion.
But like you said, when it's connected to that negative thing, it can be damaging, and it has damaged an entire generation, multiple generations it seems up to this point.
So he, Seth, is fighting back against that, which is why we've got to support him guys, which means if you're watching this right now, and you haven't gone to his channel yet and checked it out and subscribed to it, I'm just saying.
And I'm saying that not because I'm, like, boosting his channel or anything.
It's because we've got to support people who put that kind of message and positivity out in the world.
And if you have any friends who like reggae, you know, I want diversity.
I listen to hip-hop.
I listen to country.
But I listen to good stuff.
I listen to, like, Christian hip-hop, Christian...
Some country is Christian.
Some is, like, a little twangy old-school stuff.
But then I listened to like Christian pop, they call it like adult contemporary, whatever you want to call that.
And I try to get a diversity.
And when I found his music, it was like reggae, man.
I've been missing that for so long.
I love the vibes and the positivity and just because when you're having a bad day, Seth, I'll tell you what I put your song on after I had a rough day once.
And it just it was like, man, I could feel myself feeling better and re-energized and So tell us about how your band came together.
What were you doing before and how did you come up with this idea of positivity and everything that you're doing now?
Man, I've worn a lot of different hats in my life.
I was in the restaurant industry for a long time and I've done a bunch of things.
But, you know, when I first started the Project Venice Beach Dub Club, it was just to have fun.
I wasn't like on a righteous mission because I just assumed that reggae was righteous music.
I didn't grow up in the reggae community.
I'm from New York City.
I grew up listening to classic rock and hip-hop, and I used to make that kind of music.
I've only been writing reggae for like 12 years.
So I used to have a party on my roof in Venice that was called Venice Beach Dub Club, and all musicians would come and jam, and that's why that's the name of the band.
And I had an album.
The first album under that name was dropping in March, actually March 6th of 2020.
And I was going to go on this big multi-state West Coast album launch tour and had all these shows and bands lined up and stuff and insurance and buses and everything you would need.
A whole lot of work.
And then they shut down the world just then.
And then I knew I was on a mission because I could see people reacting incorrectly, starting to infight with each other and accuse each other of stuff.
And I was like, guys, we have a greater enemy.
And this is a calling, especially to the reggae community.
Like people associate reggae with rebellion and with righteousness and like Bob Marley, Haile Selassie, Marcus Garvey, all these great thinkers, you know.
And I was like, we have this calling now.
This is our time.
It's a blessing to be someone who can speak to people in a time of tribulation like this because if everything was just going great and sweet, there's really no opportunity to explore your potential to kind of reach people and help people.
So this is such an opportunity.
You know, it's terrible what we're going through.
As a nation and as a world and as a people.
But it's also an amazing opportunity to reach out to people and to explore your potential, your God-given gifts to reach and to help.
So that's what it's become.
That's what Venice Beach Dub Club has become.
I wish I could change the name to something more evocative, but you can't do that because of Spotify.
So I'm stuck with the name VVDC, but it's more than that now.
It's not just a club and a reggae party.
It's a mission for sure.
So Venice Beach is where you've landed, and I read some stuff online about you talking about how you really fell in love with that area, and I was just talking about it on my show.
I'm pretty sure that's close to L.A., right?
It's in L.A. I'm actually not even there anymore.
I had to leave because of the homelessness and crime, but there's some amazing crime stories that happened right on my block that went national.
Welcome to my show!
No, I mean, see, and that's what I wanted to talk about was that, like, I was going to ask you if you were still there and what it was like in L.A., but I guess Huntington Beach, is that a little bit better up there?
Oh, it's literally like a paradise compared to that.
Like, the people just don't tolerate it.
The other day, I was driving down my street, and I saw a guy walking with two bikes, so it looks like he probably stole one of them, and he looked like the kind of guy that might be stealing a bike, and, like, a bunch of just good Samaritans were pulling over and asking him, what's up?
He's like, what's up?
Like, what are you doing around here?
Like, whose bike is that other bike?
You know what I mean?
So people just, you know, once you let it start to happen, once you accept a little bit of crime, once you accept a little bit of depravity, you know, it's like you give them an inch and, you know, when I say they, I mean like evil spirits basically will take a mile, you know.
So I think they've gotten us to this point where we've normalized homelessness, for instance, just walking by people suffering and on drugs and living outdoors on the streets and.
And, you know, we've just normalized stepping over that and walking by that.
And that lowers all of our energy and all of our connection with God.
So when you have a place that's nice and you don't have that, you know, it's really up to the men in the community to make sure that it can never start.
And in Huntington, they do a great job of that.
Tito Ortiz is here and a bunch of based people and, you know, they protect it.
Yeah, dude.
We hung out with Tito that night.
I was crazy, man.
Tito Ortiz, you guys may not know him.
You may know him.
You probably do.
He's a famous MMA athlete, politician.
He's done a bunch of cool stuff with his life.
That was a crazy evening, and it was definitely like a God thing where we were all just kind of hanging out.
We were having this great conversation with all these different things.
But what you just said is so incredibly powerful.
What you said there about how it's up to the men to stand up and make sure that society doesn't take this turn into this apathy and this complete and total disregard for life in the way that they do in a lot of these Democrat cities.
I'm just saying Democrat because, let's just be honest, it's mostly where this happens, but it happens everywhere.
The fact of the matter is that There is value in all life, and I just did my whole God's grace is greater, like you said before, moment today was on the book of James.
We did James chapter 5 in the last two sections, and it talks about how, you know, prayer, and it talks about...
Prayer and talking about being truthful, but then the final line basically says that, let him know, I'll read it to you, it's 519, it says, my brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins, and that's I mean, I was saying, like, what more is there to life than to helping others?
You know, that's what we're here to do, to uplift each other to Christ, to God.
And that's, like, that's, I think, a lot of people, they just miss that whole point.
And you hit the nail on the head there.
So everything's good up in Huntington Beach.
That's good to know.
So let me ask you this question now.
We've talked about some of your songs before, but...
Some of my favorite songs, like the one song that I'm really having a great time with recently is the Pure Bloods.
So tell us about the thought behind that song and what inspiration you found from that song.
If you guys go listen to it, please do.
It's a great song, but kind of talk about that a little.
The first time I heard the expression or saw the hashtag of Pure Bloods was on Instagram.
And I was like, wow, I really like that.
Like, that really stands out to me.
And I was like, that would have been a great band name, Shucks.
But then basically, and I was like, I'd love to write a song called Pure Bloods.
And my writing process is God delivers me the choruses, the music and the lyrics, whole stock while I'm sleeping, or like first thing in the morning.
And then it's my work to figure out what the verses are.
And the verses have a lot more words and a lot more information and stuff like that.
But I woke up the following morning with the chorus to Pure Bloods in my head.
All I had to do is get out of bed, pick up my guitar and figure out what the chords were.
It was pretty easy.
If anyone plays music out there, it was just GDC, so pretty basic.
It's like a bunch of famous songs.
And that was it.
I just woke up with the chorus in my head.
All I had to do was write it down, and it took me maybe a day to write the verses.
And the song is about the unvaccinated and the rebels, the people who don't trust science, which is just like a ridiculous sentiment that you just trust science, you know?
Doesn't mean anything.
So yeah.
You know, so I wanted to make sure that the verses were really simple and really catchy.
So instead of like rapping fast, sometimes I go fast with a lot of information.
I just said, I don't want a vaccine.
I want to keep myself clean.
I'm so organic, organic, organic.
And I knew people would hear that and it would get stuck in their head the first time they heard it.
And I was like, this song is going to be simple and pure like that.
I mean, every time people put it on a reel, they take the reel down, they hit it with fact checks and misinformation and delete it and everything.
So the enemy knows that's a powerful sound right there.
So people should go check that out and try to attach it to reels and see what happens or try to put it out there somehow.
It's just a fun, feel-good song.
It's got a nice flute on it and everything.
It's a vibe.
It's just a positive, happy vibe, but then there's a simple, true, rebellious message.
How good does it feel to rebel against evil is the best feeling ever.
You just know you're aligned with God, and you feel like you have coolness.
You're just like, this is cool.
It's not cool to be evil.
Look at them.
Look at Dr.
Fauci.
Look at Joe Biden.
They couldn't do cool if you gave them a trillion dollars to spend on it with market research and focus groups.
Every makeup and hair and everything.
It can't be done.
You can do cool with zero money and zero support just by being aligned with the frequency of goodness and stuff.
When I made that song, I was like, I know this is the one.
And then they block it so hard and won't let it get out there.
I know it's a good one.
Dude, I cannot agree with you anymore.
I mean, I'm so glad you came on the show because this is the kind of stuff, like, I keep saying it because I'm a firm believer that we have to support, like, each other in a lot of ways.
And that song, the way you just described it, is so important, I think, for it to get out as far and as wide as we can.
Because, you know, you may, let's just say hypothetically that somebody watching is not the biggest reggae fan in the world.
Let me put it to you this way.
You may not be, but then you don't know who you know that is that that song may change their life, and vice versa.
You may become one because you've never heard reggae like this before.
It's like a totally different vibe than anything I've ever heard before.
It's got these undertones of reggae, but then it's got positivity.
It's clean.
It's good.
It's uplifting.
It's like...
And a lot of reggae can be that, I've heard before.
I'm not going to discount all reggae because it's a very good music source.
If you really like it, people love it, then that's great.
But I'm telling you right now, man, it is so powerful to see that.
So what are you doing?
So tell us about your Instagram show.
How does that work?
I got kicked off of Instagram a long time ago.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Well, first, let me just say about reggae that there's really only two genres of music out there, good and bad.
You know, there's good country, there's good reggae, and then there's a bunch of bad stuff, too.
So most people, you know, they like whatever's good, and that's how it should be.
So don't worry too much about what the genre is and stuff like that.
My Instagram show was – well, now it gets interesting because I'm going to bridge some topics that maybe will rustle some feathers.
But I went through a bunch of phases with my Instagram show, Talkie Time.
I was a big Trump supporter.
Then I was basically like a Q correspondent.
You know what I mean?
And then I just – I didn't want to be in any groups.
I didn't want to have associations like that.
And I wanted just to be just a generalist, and a lot of people got kind of mad at me.
And so now my show is like, I don't have allegiance to anything.
If I like something from Trump, I like it.
If I don't like it, I don't like it.
And a lot of people will be like, you hate Trump now, you're a liberal now, or something like that.
And I'm just like, this is such a limited way of thinking, and it's not even true.
We have to be more honest, we have to be more true.
And I love the hat you're wearing right now, Save America, because this is a message that nobody can take offense to.
You know what I mean?
This is our home.
We've got to save it.
It can't be misinterpreted.
And what I like about your show, I told you I listened to two people who covered for a long time Q, you and In Pursuit of Truth, because it was a good vibe.
It was high quality, and I just intuited that these were good people with a good personality, and I liked it.
It made me feel good to listen to it.
Then there's a million other big Q channels that I didn't want to listen to just because I got a different feeling off of it.
Also, I'm down with Christians, but I also have a ton of Orthodox Jew followers and friends that I give equal time to, and I'm not sure.
And a lot of Christians in my chat will be like, we can't listen to this.
This is satanic.
We don't want to hear about Hinduism.
That's satanic.
Yoga is satanic.
I don't think that way.
I'm down to talk to everybody and listen to everybody.
I like Trump people.
I like Bernie people.
Not all of them, obviously.
You know what I mean?
But I want to bring people together.
I think this is the whole trick since 2020 started.
And the trick with BLM, it's like we have this natural enemy that's against life.
They're against our prosperity.
They're against peace.
They're pro-war.
They're pro-poverty.
This is the obvious enemy that everybody can unite against.
So instead, they create BLM and make us go black versus white.
They make us go left versus right.
It's supposed to be wrong versus right and darkness versus light.
So I really try to push people to expand their thinking.
And that doesn't mean to go away from Christ or to go away from Christianity.
if that's what you are, But also you have to be able to coexist with Muslims and Jews even if you would rather save them or you think that what they're doing is going to send them to hell.
We have to be able to get along with each other because we have such an obvious enemy and it's going to take a lot, a lot of coalition to fight.
See, I agree with you in the sense that You want to get along with people, and that doesn't mean you don't want them to be saved.
It's like in this world, like I was just saying out of the book of James, when you save one person from sin, it's worth more than anything else.
And our society is creating this division, like you said, where we should be able to sit down with anybody as Americans and have a conversation about anything because that's what our country is built on.
And I think we have been pushed into the corner at this point.
In a lot of ways, a lot of Christians are becoming very defensive.
And that is that's leading to division and the division is, you know, being amplified and continuously amplified over and over and over again.
And that's why I think these kind of conversations open doors for people that may have been closed otherwise.
And I'm not saying that I would agree with anybody who sat down across from me.
I may disagree fervently, but I will tell them how I feel about them and what they're doing.
And again, they always want to cast themselves.
I did a whole thing on the show today about, you know, how they say, you know, we're all homophobes, Christians.
We hate gay people.
It's like I've never once said anything about hating gay people.
I've only said that I wish to save them, to help them, to bring them out of the sin that I feel that they are living in.
That's the Christ spirit right there.
You've got it.
Yeah, so there's nothing inside of me that hates or has this evil intention to be like, oh, you're evil and I'm saying what you're doing to me is evil.
Especially these guys that are going with the kids and the drag queen stuff and all that stuff.
It drives me crazy.
So the whole point is...
If we go to people, as Christ went to those who were...
Like I said, I just did this whole thing.
It's funny that this is all coming up again.
But it was like Christ said.
He goes, do the healthy need a doctor or do the sick need a doctor?
And it's like you choose where you put yourself and who you bring yourself.
That's why I'm glad I brought you on because I knew you'd bring a perspective that was different than what we get a lot of times in this echo chamber that we all exist in where we don't think, man...
Because you remember, back before Trump...
It was a lot more peace loving.
There was a lot more.
We all got together a lot more easily.
But then as soon as he got in, they tried to start dividing us.
And that's how they're going to try to conquer us is with this division.
And I think you hit the nail on the head there, right?
Yeah.
I mean, and also, I think as Christians, like the last thing we want to do is experience hate or even anger.
I always say when you're feeling angry that you know you're losing, like you're losing points in the game of life right there.
Your health is going down.
Your energy is going down.
I don't want to hang Hillary Clinton.
I hope Hillary Clinton gets better.
You know what I mean?
I have no bloodlust.
I've said this.
I say I want these people to change their lives and find Christ.
Because if you go through the Bible, there's story after story after story about these evil kings and tyrants who would go through and murder all the babies in the entire city and sacrifice them to Moloch.
And then a few years later, God changes their heart and they end up bringing more people than they could have ever imagined to Christ.
Saul and Paul.
Yeah, exactly.
And if you read the Bible, it's time and time again God changes people's hearts.
But what you just said reminded me of a verse that is so powerful to me.
It's from James 1.20, right?
And it says, So I look at that to say, you know, What are we doing here?
Our anger doesn't satisfy God and doesn't bring righteousness to His name.
Our being of a different mindset and positive and wanting to help others, that's the Christ mentality, I think.
And there was a point where Christ went into the temple and He kicked over the tables, and a lot of people should go straight to that verse and say, see, He was a man of wrath.
And I say, yes, but He was giving God's wrath, and God's wrath is...
It's pure, and it is good, and it is righteous.
Our wrath and our anger is not from God.
It is from ourselves, and as it says there...
Also, kicking over a table is different than stoning someone to death or something like that.
It's not the most extreme, you know what I mean?
Yeah, so...
And of course, he's going to come back with a sword and all that stuff.
You're right.
People gravitate right towards the exceptions.
They try to find exceptions to thou shalt not kill.
Oh, but in self-defense, I can.
And if it's a pedophile, we can kill.
And then we can torture him, too.
Hold on.
Now you're going crazy.
Jesus is not going to torture anybody.
You know what I mean?
And yeah.
It's a trick, bro.
They give us this drag queen story hour to weaken Christians and to weaken good people.
They give you something that you can't resist feeling angry at.
You see people abusing children, people stripping in front of children, and they look disgusting, and they've got the worst mindset.
And it's a trick to make you feel hatred and to make you feel anger, and that weakens you and separates you from God.
It's exactly like the Emperor in Star Trek.
Yes, Skywalker, let the hatred flow through you straight away.
So that's what it is, man.
They give you stuff you want to be a loving person, and they give you something you can't resist hating, like Drag Queen Story Hour or something like that.
It's a trick, you know?
And that doesn't mean we let it happen.
Of course, the first priority is protect the children.
Whatever happens to us happens to us, you know what I mean?
But at the same time, you always have to keep your armor of God.
And as soon as you start to feel anger and bloodlust and hatred, you know that your armor has slipped, you know?
Yeah, absolutely.
I think that these are the conversation that needed to be had, at least on my end.
I feel like, you know, a lot of times in our daily routine, we get kind of stuck in the cycle of like, especially for me, because I deal with such negative stuff everywhere.
Every single day.
It's like day in, day out.
I'm talking about the darkest and worst things in the world.
And over time, it does build up anger.
It does build up a little bit of hatred.
And I have to cleanse myself of that with prayer and meditation and reading the scripture.
And these kind of conversations, regardless, maybe you're out there and you felt the same way.
Let me just say to you, whoever you are watching...
I believe what we're meant to do in this world is to do good, to honor God by helping others, by being positive, by being a light in this world.
And we have to make our light so bright that it shines out for everyone to see and they can see Christ in us.
And that's how we overcome the evil of this world because there's another verse, Romans 12, 21, that says,"...do not conquer evil with evil, rather conquer evil with good." And that is what we have to maintain our focus on.
The righteous battle that we're fighting on this realm, this spiritual realm that we're in now, before we go to the eternal realm with God and heaven and Jesus, we have to fight the battle that Jesus would have wanted us to fight, which I believe is helping others and uplifting humanity as a whole.
I mean, I think you agree, right?
A thousand percent, man.
And you have to remember, when God created man, he looked upon his work and said, it is good.
He didn't say, it is good, but I also threw in a few psychopaths and some narcissists that aren't good.
All of that is a result of trauma and suffering, you know what I mean?
And you cannot alleviate suffering by making the sufferer suffer more.
That's what perpetuates the suffering.
So it's such an almost impossible task for people that really believe this is the way, this is God's way.
Yeah.
I view all of these things as a sickness, and the right attitude towards the sick is to want to heal them, like Jesus went to the lepers.
I literally feel that way about these globalists that are destroying our lives and causing people to commit suicide and just ruining our economy and all that.
I feel like those people are sick and suffering, and the only way to end this, to go back to Star Wars...
You know what's so funny is that I didn't grow up Christian.
I had a Jewish father and a Christian mother.
I grew up with no religion, but I always loved Star Wars, and I didn't realize how much...
Like the Bible I got out of Star Wars.
Luke has to save his father.
It's only by overcoming his hatred and his anger and forgiving his father that gives his father the power from God to destroy the Emperor.
It's the only way that it would have happened.
Luke could have struck down Darth Vader.
He never would have been able to defeat the Emperor.
The Emperor is electrocuting him to death right there.
The only way he could do it is by giving up and giving it to God and giving up the hatred and just aligning with what he knew was right and good.
And then God stepped in and gave Darth Vader the power to do that, the impossible power.
It's so funny.
How much I love to talk about Star Wars.
Only the first three of them.
I've never heard an analogy with Star Wars and Christianity, but I like it because I think that any way we can relate these themes that are important to understanding the Bible better in whatever way we can in terms of things that are maybe to other people who aren't as strong in their faith.
Because I have a lot of people that watch that aren't Christians, and they watch for whatever reason that they watch.
I've had a lot of people come to me, and I just talked about this today.
It was funny how everything I talked about today has come up.
But people have come to me and said, you know, I wasn't a Christian at first, but because you kept talking about Christianity, because you presented it in such a positive way, and you helped me, it was like over time I realized that I want this to be my life, and I want to commit my life to Jesus.
And I just say that's the way I want my life to be left.
If there is my life, my legacy, I pray, will be obviously my family and protecting them and providing for them and honoring God.
But after that, to bring people to Christ so that they can experience the joy and the complete and total joy You know, solace that you feel when you know that you have eternal salvation, you know you've been saved.
And I think that's what we need to have more of in our society, less hate.
And I know people go, hate speech, you know, it's all this.
But the reality is, like you said, you're lowering yourself when you let those emotions overtake you.
When you let anger or fear or whatever it is overtake you on the inside and you're not positive and you're not out living your life in the best way you can and helping others and being kind.
That's when the devil wins.
And I think that your music...
To bring this all back is a great opportunity for people to uplift their spirit.
And, you know, obviously I would say, you know, go to the scripture and go to the Bible and, you know, church and all that stuff.
But after that, music's powerful.
And your music is doing great things in the world, which is why I'm very thankful.
So I guess we're hitting that mark now.
I'm going to try to keep this around 30 minutes, but we can go a little bit more.
But tell the people where they can find your music.
Where they can find you, where they can get in touch with you, and then we're going to go over the chat and see what everybody's been saying over on Foxhole and see if they have anything to contribute to this.
Nice.
Love it.
Yeah, my link tree is vbdc for Venice Beach Dub Club.
I'm the same on Instagram, and that's where I do most of my stuff.
And I'm the same on YouTube.
So anywhere you put in VBDC, you're going to find me.
Or you can go directly to my Linktree and find everything right away.
Link, whatever, however you do it.
Linktr.ee slash VBDC. Or you can just type in Linktree slash VBDC. I think that works too, either way.
And...
Yeah, for the people out there that aren't sure if they're going to like reggae and just want to hear Christian music, go listen to my song, I Believe, featuring my friend Ja Faith, who's a Rastafarian, which is a sect of Christianity.
And it's all about belief and Jesus and everything.
So, I mean, that's a good entry point for people that want to hear some Christian music and not just reggae.
You know what I mean?
Absolutely.
And I have shows around California and stuff like that.
If you're in California and you want to go body surfing or jam or something like that, just hit me up, you know?
Yeah.
I will, brother.
And anybody out there who wants to hang with him, do it yourself, too.
But you know what?
Let's go over.
I'm just going to see, because who knows?
Sometimes the chat's busy, sometimes it's not.
So I'm going to go over here and see how many people are commenting.
Let's see if we have anything interesting.
Let's see.
Yeah, some people are just commenting on the force.
That was funny.
They made a comment about that.
Tam Grout says, I prayed for Hillary.
I prayed for Joe.
No answers yet.
I see.
They're trying to be funny there.
But yeah, you know, that's what we need to do.
And God, Jesus did tell us to pray for our enemies.
It doesn't mean to only pray and do nothing and to be weak and to be inactive.
You know what I mean?
It's just like all of your action is going to be weakened if you come from a spirit of anger and hatred.
And vengeance, of course, vengeance is not ours.
Vengeance is God's.
So don't fantasize about military tribunals.
Like, justice is good.
Fantasize about God executing justice, not man.
We shouldn't look forward to killing our enemies because when you do that, you put yourself way further away from the kingdom of heaven.
So that's like a last resort.
Yeah, and I think in a lot of ways God will provide that justice.
If it's meant to happen, then it'll happen according to his plan.
If somebody's meant to go to a military tribunal, which I don't even get into a lot of that stuff anymore.
I don't get into stuff where it's like, oh, this is all happening secretly.
I go, we know what we know, and we go based on the knowledge we have.
Yeah.
But if that were to happen and this person lived an evil life and did evil things, then that's them basically getting their judgment for what they've done.
And you don't have to be a part of that necessarily to know that that's the way it happens.
There are some who will go to hell.
There are some who will fall because they don't change their ways.
So I think that's a powerful way to look at it.
So I agree with that.
Let's see over the chat again.
I think everybody's getting a little bit more active because they see us coming over to the chat.
I love chat questions.
That's my favorite part of my own show, too.
Yeah, this is kind of fun.
Let's see.
Good afternoon.
Good afternoon.
Father Larry's here.
Father Larry says, we are supposed to understand from two white hat generals that Hillary Hunter and G. Bush Jr.
have already been arrested.
Okay.
Well, we'll see about that, right?
Sure.
I'll say something about that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
For sure, man.
Here, let me pull you back up.
Yeah, go ahead.
The concept of the White Hat is spurious at best because 5D chess is not God's way.
I'm a pawn on the chessboard of 5D chess.
My career, my tour that I put all my own money into was a pawn that got knocked off that chessboard.
I just don't believe that's the right way to win.
You know what I mean?
By sacrificing pieces off of the chessboard.
When people talk about 5G chess, they have to realize that's our businesses and our lives that are sacrifice pieces on the board.
So all that makes me a little bit nervous.
You haven't been watching my show for a while.
No, I haven't.
I'll be totally honest.
I lost you when you went off of YouTube, which is so bad of me.
And big respect to everyone who's following you right now because they did a better job of me of supporting the people who are out there doing good work.
I forgot until I met you in real life.
And yeah, that's just what happens.
That's how they get us.
But the thing I was going to say is that with me and my show, I think if you'd been watching lately, you know, since I came back a year ago or whatever and started this again, is that I exclusively, I'm not like a trust the plan guy.
I trust God's plan.
I don't trust the plans of man.
And I trust that we have enough information that we can make the change that we want to see in this world.
We're not I don't like the idea of the sit and wait for somebody to come in on a white horse and save you and change everything.
I'm a firm believer, and I've said this very often, that we have to be the change we want to see in this world, and we can either go, like you said, we can go the dark route or we can go the light route.
And I've always decided to make my life about going the light route because I want people to be brought up and uplifted to Christ.
And I know that no matter what happens to me in this world, I've given my life to God.
I've given my life to Christ.
I fully understand what that means.
And all I want to do is help others find Christ.
So along the way, I tell people about the truth.
I tell them about the truth that the news won't tell you.
I tell them about, you know, like...
What could be happening behind the scenes?
We speculate.
We theorize.
But we don't – I'm not one of those guys who sits around and says, yeah, you know, Joe Biden is a clone and Hillary Clinton is a clone.
You know what I mean?
No, you never were.
But it's a phenomenon.
There's a lot of people out there who are kind of like have that – who are married to that way of thinking and they take big offense when people insinuate that maybe we didn't already win or it isn't a movie.
Like life isn't a movie.
You know what I mean?
Life is life.
The movie is small compared to life.
What I always loved about your show, and you brought this up before, was that you cover so much negativity, but then you would always end with God's Grace is Greater segment, and it would always be like a release of tension, and you always had a positive attitude, and that's why I loved In Pursuit of Truth, too.
I want people to feel good.
You can get the hard information and stuff like that, but you can also...
I want people to leave feeling good.
You know what I mean?
Your show always left me with a good vibe.
Wow, I appreciate that immensely.
And your music leaves me with a good vibe, so...
It's crazy.
Sometimes I always pinch myself and I'm thinking about how God works and how it brings us together in different ways.
And I think that this conversation needed to happen.
I know in my heart that there is somebody out there who's going to see this, if they haven't already, who's going to take away just what they need to change their life in a better direction and to realize, to open their mind up to things that they may not have even had their mind open to at this point.
Because, look, we can...
We can all get along to a degree.
I'm not like one of those, oh, John, whatever.
But I'm just saying that in Christ, all things are possible.
And what we've just, in this conversation, I think, shown is that, you know...
There is a positive side of life that has to be embraced more than you look at the hate and like you were saying, the Star Wars analogy is very important.
Don't let the hate consume you.
Don't let it overtake who you are.
Don't let your whole life become about hating others and becoming this person who is not only toxic to those around you, but then toxic to yourself.
You're going to bring yourself down.
You're going to hurt yourself in the long run.
And that's what I hope we can help others find.
So let me ask you this.
Is there anything...
I'm going to go check the chat one more time before we get off.
Let's get one more chat question.
Yeah, one more chat question.
Well, this one you can answer real quick.
He says, what's your stream called?
It's called Talky Time.
It's on my Instagram, which is Venice Beach Dub Club, and it'll come up if you just type in VBDC on Instagram search.
Okay, so that's an easy one.
We can maybe take one more after that.
I'll have you on there, too, if you ever want to come on.
Oh yeah, dude.
I've already said...
You have to make an Instagram burner account.
Honestly, I think I have one, but I don't...
Yeah, I never used it.
That's your fun, you know?
Yeah.
Alright, let's go over the chat here.
Let's see if we have any other questions.
Seth, do you have a sample of your tunes for us?
Tamgirl wants to know if you have a sample of your tunes for us.
I mean, I could play one of your songs, but I don't want to bootleg your music...
Go for it, yeah.
I mean, I own all the rights to it, so if we get a strike, I'll just appeal it.
No, there's no strikes here.
Okay, good.
Play whatever you want.
Go for it, man.
It's Rumble and Bitchute.
Everybody feel free to share my music and play my music.
I don't care.
I mean, that's the point.
All right, so wait.
Let me...
Okay, so here we go.
I'm going to, while I'm doing this, let me pull up one of your songs, one of my favorites here.
Yeah, let's play Pure Bloods.
I think that's a good one.
Okay, I think so too.
Perfect.
Alright, so here, we're going to play this for you guys, and once we're done with this, we'll end it with a little bit of prayer, and then we'll let Seth kind of give his closing remarks, and then we'll wrap up this interview, because I really appreciate your time, man.
This has been really, really fun.
Okay.
Here you guys go.
Let's watch the music video for Pure Bloods.
Let me make sure the volume's up and yep.
Let me make sure the volume's up and yep.

Hope I can fake it.

It's doggone tragic.

I've heard it before.
No, I... I mean, dude, if you don't feel good after listening to that song, I don't know what's wrong with you, man.
So let's see if the chat's got anything else, and then we'll wrap it up here real quick.
This is awesome, though.
All right.
Let's see.
Everybody's loving it.
Everybody's saying thank you.
Everybody's positive.
Oh, wow.

It's still recording, though, so the recording will be posted later.

I'll say this.
It was an honor and a pleasure to have you on the show.
I can't wait.
We'll have you on again, man.
I always love talking.
These conversations need to happen.
They need to happen not only for the movement or whatever it is, but...
For, like you said, bringing positivity in the world.
Your music's doing it already, though.
So why don't we leave it here?
You tell the people, again, where they can find you and everything else.
If you have any final remarks for everyone out there listening, please do.
And then we'll wrap it up with a prayer, if you don't mind.
Oh, absolutely.

And to everybody out there, have no fear.
You know, you either fear God or you fear everything else.
So, Keep doing what's good, and God's going to get your back no matter how dark it looks.
It's always darkest before the light.
Wow.
What a positive message, and God bless you for sharing it.
Let's end it with a little bit of prayer, guys.
Send them off on a high note here.
Dear Lord and Heavenly Father, we give thanks for this interview, this time we were able to share, the message we were able to create using you as the catalyst in our lives to become better and to go out in the world and share your love and your positivity and your grace with others is really what is most important.
Help us remind ourselves to love one another and to uplift one another and to seek to help one another in our daily lives so that we don't lose sight of what's the most important thing we're here on earth to do, which is honor you, but then after that to love and uplift one another.
So please be with Seth and his band and all the work that they're doing.
Help his message and positivity and his outlook reach many, many people and change lives for the better to honor you.
And Lord, I pray that all the work that we do together here on this world or in this world honors you and puts you first above all else.
We thank you for this day and every day, most of all, our eternal salvation through the blood of Christ, our Savior and Jesus' name.
Amen.
Amen.
Thank you so much, Craig.
I appreciate it, bro.
I had fun.
Yeah, I had a great time, man.
And thanks to God for putting us at the same house music party, just standing there near each other to say, what's up, you know?
Like I said, it's a God thing.
He does things that I can't even imagine.
So that's where we're going to leave it.
Thank you guys for watching.
I'm going to end the recording right now.
We'll see you on the next one.
My name is Craig.
You guys just saw Seth.
