Russia is under attack by drones from Finland and the Baltic states.
It may have to appeal to the UN Charter out of self defense to respond, where these nations are members of NATO, but what they're undertaking are offensive actions, not defensive.
Hal Turner himself suggests rather than actually conducting military operations, there may be an alternative.
Finland and the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, shown on the map.
As a result, a drone attack launched against Russia.
The Russian government is soberly saying they may choose to attack Finland and the Baltic states in self defense.
All are members of NATO.
Instead of attacking these countries, Hal Turner has to wonder would it be far easier, quicker, and more efficient for Russia to send?
Military units discreetly into the country with orders to kill, to assassinate the people doing the orders to send the drones.
Doesn't matter who it is, Russia could just kill them.
Then Russia could announce they have killed them and say, Why would this?
I think, dissuade anyone else from making the same bad decision as the dead, and likely, in my view, solve the problem.

Moreover, the U.S. and Israel have set a precedent by intentionally targeting and deliberately killing members of Iran's sitting government.
If it's okay for the US and Israel to target and kill Iranian government officials, it seems perfectly logical that Russia can target and kill officials in Finland and the Baltic states without fear of world condemnation or even NATO's Article 5.
Meanwhile, Trump is back to threatening to destroy Iran, to get at power plants, destroy the whole country.

And now we have the further complication of the United States seizing a tanker bound for Iran.

He's going to be trying to lie his way out of the probably got himself into by allowing Netanyahu to convince him to attack Iran.
So I would listen to the Iranian leadership.
I would also listen to other third parties, including the Chinese, perhaps the Europeans, to a certain extent the Pakistanis.
The upshot is Iran has emerged from this brutal series of acts of aggression, this series of war crimes committed against it actually much stronger than it was before.
And the downside is this is not going to play well with the genocidal maniacs in Tel Aviv.
So, it's going to be a continued impetus for conflict coming from those quarters.
But the good news is that, for now at least, it looks like the Americans might actually be reacting with at least a slight sliver of rationality, which essentially means admitting that Iran has them checkmated.

Don't think in terms of power structures, etc.
This is about American domestic politics.
This is all that is going on right now.
And I made it clear that Donald Trump is going to be spinning things so that he can successfully sell.
To an American audience, the notion that the United States has emerged victorious in this conflict.
I see it in the comments and elsewhere.
I mean, Scott Ritter and Ray McGovern are wrong.
Trump has opened up the Strait of Hormuz, dude.
Trump hasn't opened up anything.
Iran has control.
Traffic flows through as Iran dictates, not as Trump dictates.
Trump can sit there and say whatever he wants.
There has been no face to face negotiation between Israel and Hezbollah.
There was face to face negotiation between.
Israel and the Lebanese government, in which a ceasefire was worked out.
The Iranians have put pressure on Hezbollah to adhere to a temporary cessation of hostilities, but that's not a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
And the United States certainly didn't play any direct role in this.
And as Trump has clearly stated, the Israeli Hezbollah issue is separate.

There's a temporary cessation while the United States and Iran work out the final details of whatever this peace agreement will look like.
And I do believe we're going to get a peace agreement, even though Donald Trump appears to be on a self destructive bent, saying things that are clearly contradictory to reality.
But we can't afford to continue this war.
Again, for all the people out there, just so you know, we lost this war.
You can spend it any way you want to, none of our objectives were met.
All of Iran's objectives were met.
Iran holds all the cards.
And Trump right now is just trying to create a politically acceptable way of acknowledging defeat.

He doesn't seem to be bothered at all, as he said, by international law or other constraints.
There is a sort of ceasefire now in effect in Lebanon.
And that, I say, is sort of a ceasefire because typically when the Trump administration Tries to do deals, they don't agree on the terms of the deal.
They just make an announcement that something has been agreed and there's been no meeting of the minds under it.
And it's very clear that the original ceasefire proposal by Pakistan included Lebanon.
It's also clear that Israel had no desire to respect that.
It's apparent that.
The current so called ceasefire in Lebanon is not respected by Israel.
Israeli politicians have apparently been outraged by Donald Trump's premature announcement of that ceasefire.
We don't know what is backing it up.
Israel's still occupying southern Lebanon, what's left of it.
It's turned southern Lebanon basically into a wasteland, applying the same technique it applied in Gaza.
I'm not sure what sort of victory this is.
Iran has not capitulated.
It will not capitulate.
Hezbollah has not capitulated.
It will not capitulate.
Hamas has not capitulated.
It will not capitulate.
What victory are we talking about?
A very strange idea of the purpose of war, as though the sole purpose of war is to kill people and destroy buildings.
I thought the purpose of war was to make an adjustment in. relations or policies on the part of the enemy.
In other words, to break the will of the enemy and to have the enemy do what you want.
But not a single stated objective of either Israel or the United States has been achieved so far.
No victory.
It's very hard to know what he's talking about.

After one of his friends called in and said how we're all suffering from trunk derangement syndrome and psychosis, we can sit here and look at the objective situation and see something's wrong, and apparently they don't.
Yeah, um, but anyway, you know, Mr. Kadittlehofer down there.
He would be the first one to say, I want to call in.
You can't say that about me.
And, you know, he argues with every host, every caller, calls other callers' names, derogatory remarks.
And he'd be the first one, you know.
So, you know, he's a hypocrite when you sit there and say somebody else can't say something about somebody that just said they got a psychosis and Trump derangement syndrome, which I'd have to say that'd be like he'd be saying that about 80% of the callers as well as the host yourself.

No doubt.
I mean, I don't think he has any business telling me what's uncalled for.
Not only that, he's cowardly, though, because so many people shared that commentary, including yourself and several callers, but he's managed to pick me up.
But not only that, you know, I never mentioned his friend's name, but he went right out after me and mentioned my name.
That's the kind of guy he is, you know.
His arguments, you know, they're always weak, emotionally based arguments, just ranting and raving, screaming and yelling, jumping up and down.
Insisting he's right, you know, and he's just not, you know.
Then he makes these ridiculous commentaries I'm a Jew for Jesus.
Well, you're not a Jew, so how could you be a Jew for Jesus?
He's not Jewish.
How the hell does that work out?
I mean, it's more illogical commentary by this guy, and that's what these arguments are.
They're weak, emotionally based arguments that are illogical.
Just listen to every one of them, you know.
And then he demands we call these Jews Zog.
Well, wait a minute.
I read the Bible a couple times now, and I don't see one time where Jesus said, I think we're going to call you Zod.
I was like, he says Jews, you know, plainly.
Like, you know, I mean, what's the deal with that?

But he's making some massive distinction there that just doesn't hold out, you know.

Then he makes the next outrageous comment and says 15% of the Jews are Messianic.
I mean, Google it, it's outrageous.
Not even one-tenth to one-third of 1% aren't even Messianic Jews, even in Israel and all the world put together.
So he makes these outrageous, illogical, ridiculous, sensationalized arguments that hold no water.
And that's all I wanted to say, Jim.

Puzzlement.
Something doesn't fit into your background knowledge and experience.

What are the possible alternative explanations of what has taken place?
Adaptation.
What are the probabilities of the available evidence on the alternatives?
And finally, explanation.
When the evidence has settled down, we are entitled to accept the best supported hypothesis as true.
But in the tentative and fallible fashion of science, meaning tentative, with the access to new evidence or alternative hypotheses, we may have to revise, reject hypotheses we previously accepted, accept hypotheses we previously rejected, and leave others in suspense.
The crucial stage is adaptation of calculating the probabilities.
Here's an elementary case.
A body is discovered.
and it has bruises around its neck, but it has no bullet holes or knife wounds.
So if you're considering alternative hypotheses, one might be then, you know, what is the probability of the available evidence if the decedent were shot by a gun?
Well, the absence of bullet holes renders that probability virtually zero, or as I shall subsequently explain, even nil.
Meaning it could not be the case.
In this instance, you do not have an effect that would be necessary in relation to that cause.
Or for a second example, what's the probability if the decedent were killed by a knife?
Given there's no knife wounds, once again, we have the situation of a vanishing low probability, let's call it zero.
What's the probability they were strangled?
Well, with bruise marks around the neck.
That certainly is a hypothesis with a higher probability and therefore would be a preferable alternative because it's the hypothesis which, if true, can fade a higher probability upon the evidence.
Now, after the corpse has been subjected to an autopsy, it may turn out that it was not the case that they died of strangulation, but actually from poisoning.
Which would be the point at which the evidence is settled down.
In other words, they could have bruise marks on their neck and yet not have died as a result of strangulation.
So what we do now is to consider particularly three kinds of impossibilities we need to distinguish.
Logical.
