It was a bit of a stretch to make that claim.
Then he went ahead with his speech, which was a complete disaster, as I see it, where he really bungled massively.
I was hoping he'd announce victory over Iran and withdraw.
Instead, it was something completely different.
Meanwhile, we're getting a lot of reports about brilliant Iran's success in dealing with its challenges.
Here's one Iran has offered the US access to the Strait of Hormuz, but there's a catch, and it's profound.

In a statement, the IRGC said it targeted locations linked to commanders of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, according to press TV.
The IRGC's Public Relations Department added that the Navy destroyed four gathering sites and facilities belonging to the United States and Israel through strong and rapid strikes.
The IRGC described the operation as a coordinated attack carried out by intelligence and operational units.
In Bahrain, drones reportedly struck areas just outside the main compound while commanders were holding a meeting.
In the United Arab Emirates, an ally of both the US and Israel, the IRGC said precision missiles were used to destroy a US command and control center located outside Al-Minhad airbase.
According to the claim, more than 200 mid-ranking American officers were present at the time of the strike.
Saudi Arabia, another key U.S. ally in the region, was also targeted.
The IRGC said warning radars used to guide F-16 warplanes were hit outside a military base.
Separately, an Israeli-owned container ship, Express Room, was also struck in missile attacks carried out by the IRGC Navy, according to the statement.
The IRGC dedicated the operation to Rear Admiral Tangsiri, who was killed in joint U.S. Israeli strikes on March 26.
Fars News Agency reported that Tangsiri will be buried in Abadan in Khuzestan province.
His funeral will be held in the city's main square and he will be laid to rest in the main cemetery.
According to Israeli sources, Tangsiri was killed in a strike that also targeted senior naval officers.
The IRGC announced his death on March 30, stating that he died due to the severity of his injuries.
A veteran commander, Tangsiri played a key role in shaping Iran's naval doctrine, particularly in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, and was instrumental in developing maritime drone capabilities.
Iran has intensified attacks on high value U.S. military targets across the Middle East.
After reportedly destroying two KC-135 refueling aircraft and an E-3 AWACS aircraft in Saudi Arabia, the Iranian military has now inflicted heavy damage on U.S. military infrastructure in Bahrain, home to the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet.

You can love your president, but it is your duty and your obligation as a free citizen to challenge and question your government every single day, regardless of who the president is.
I shared his speech on my account because it was the most important thing said at CPAC this year.
And I want to explain why CPAC was barely relevant this year.
The coalitions that came together in 2024 have been fractured and demoralized.
Trump did not even show up.
The president of the United States skipped the largest conservative conference in America.
Think about what that means.
The man who built this movement, who filled arenas, who turned CPAC into his personal stage for years, did not bother to come.
And the people who did show up spent more time arguing with each other than building anything new.
The movement is splitting along ideological lines.
There is a Mark Levin wing and a Tucker Carlson wing.
There is a Lauren Boebert wing and there is what used to be my wing.
Eric Prince, the founder of Blackwater, stood on that same CPAC stage and expressed deep reservations about the Iran war.
Eric Prince, the man who built private armies for the United States government, is now publicly questioning whether this war makes any sense.
When the founder of Blackwater has doubts about your war, you know you have lost the plot.
And the divide is not about personality.
It is about principle.
It is about whether America first actually means America first or whether it was just a slogan to win elections.
I know what it feels like to be on the wrong side of that divide.
When I fought for the Epstein files, I was called a traitor.
When I opposed the Iran war, I was called a quitter.
When I stood up for health care because my own children's insurance premiums doubled, my own party turned its back on me.
The president posted about me on Truth Social calling me wacky.
He called me a lunatic.
He said my views are those of a very dumb person.
And his words led to direct death threats against my son.
That is what happens when you question the leader.

In other words, a failure at this juncture or following last year's attacks on Iran does not mean a failure overall.
U.S. claims of seeking to end its war on Iran could also be simply a distraction ahead of greater escalation still.
The U.S. could pose as ending its hostilities only to have its proxy Israel cite U.S. abandonment as a pretext for up to and including the use of nuclear weapons against Iran, helping further shape events favoring the U.S. preferred outcome while pouring the U.S. plausible deniability.
A potential U.S. success in Iran will put in danger the remaining members of the multipolar world.
U.S. success anywhere means greater danger for everyone everywhere.
This process will continue indefinitely until the U.S. succeeds or multipolarism finally displaces, neutralizes U.S. unipolar hegemony and the means by which it threatens a multipolar world, let me say.
I think that's a brilliant diagnosis or analysis prior to.
The failure of the United States to destroy Iran, the success of Iran in defending itself, and the abandonment of the petrodollar.

But for the first time since 1977, a major oil refinery is scheduled to be built starting this month in the Deepwater Port of Brownsville, Texas, taking West Texas light shale to refine.
And India's Reliance Industries is building it.
They're entitled to buy at least 80%.
At least 80%, partnering with Houston based America First Refining to build a new oil refinery in the Port of Brownsville.
And so, you know, what the refinery bottleneck that we have, as you probably know, is that we're taking foreign oil, importing it.
It's much more crude, and we're geared up at our refineries to refine that.
And it would save a lot of pollution.
Tell the greenies, call in the community sponsored radio stations, left leaning, and tell them, like I'm doing, let them know that.
Wouldn't you know for the sake of petroleum independence at the very least, then why don't we just become more uh just be 100% energy independent and then we can be concerned about refining other countries' oil rather than our own, where which we ship off to be refined by other countries?

Uh, the thing is, the petrodollar has been what has preserved the integrity or value of the U.S. Dollar, meaning that it has been the reserve currency for transactions in oil internationally, especially out of the Gulf Coast countries.

So, while you're correct that we would have enough oil resources of our own, believe me, we're going to suffer the consequences of having engaged in this war with Iran.

Number one, I think it's completely disingenuous of the people who protested for the destruction of Palestine, which, by the way, was given to them by the Israelis.
And the Palestinians were exported to other countries, and they tried to overthrow those governments, which is something you could study on your own time.
And they were kicked back into into Israel and then they ended up having the Gaza Strip, etc.
But, that being said, i'm not for the destruction of anybody, but I think it's um point number one disingenuous of anybody protesting for Palestine and not protesting for the youth in Iran that are being killed by the Mullahs.
And I don't wish death upon anybody.
I've seen fire and death myself But I hope that they eradicate the Mullahs and that they free those people.
That's my hope.

And God forbid, because this country will, well, our republic will come to an end.

Well, the protests were CIA, Mossad manufactured.
The number was around 3,200 that were killed, but it was all provoked.
These weren't indigenous or organic uprisings, so I think you're wrong about the mullahs.
As far as an uprising, civil war, I think if there's a conscription for going, sending American boys to die for Israel, I think you could have a Huge uproar here in the U.S. Whether it would come to a civil war, I'm not at all confident.
