Why are the U.S. and Israel obsessive with eliminating Iran's ballistic missiles?

The U.S. and Israeli narrative about Iran's missile and drone strikes in Israel during the 12-day war in June of 2025 and says Iran did little damage.
And that the combined might of U.S. and Israeli air defense system knocked down 90% of the Iranian ballistic missiles.
If that was true, why is Pressing Trump touting the need for Iran to eliminate its ballistic missile force?
I have the answer, Larry Johnson informs.
We need to only look at the damage Iran's ballistic missiles caused in Israel during the 12-day war.
Based on reporting and independent analyses of the conflict, much of the detailed damage was initially censored, not fully disclosed by Israeli authorities, but independent and foreign sources have provided information.
Iran launched more than 1,000 ballistic missiles toward Israel over the 12 days, often in large salvos that overwhelmed Israeli and U.S. air defenses.
Israel's multi-layered defense systems intercepted some, but a significant number still penetrated and struck targets.
Hundreds of buildings in major cities.
Tel Aviv, its suburbs, Batyap, Ramat Gat were damaged, some buildings so badly they had to be destroyed.
In Del Abbey's alone, analytics map around 480 buildings that were hit with multiple strikes.
Iranian missiles damaged public facilities such as the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva, which was hit by an Iranian missile, causing structural damage and chemical leaks.
The affected wing was evacuated.
Power and water infrastructure were also hit, contributing to service disruptions.
They hit high-value facilities.
The Weissman Institute of Science, a major research in Rehovat, severely damaged.
In estimation, 90% of the structures affected.
Demolition of dozens of labs, suspension of 25% operation, and much more.
So, you know, the threat of Iran from a nuclear attack has been non-existent because Iran wasn't pursuing nukes, doesn't want nukes, but it has plenty of ballistic missiles using only about 5% against Israel.
Well, if 5%, 1,000 was 5%, they got a lot of missiles let go.
Meanwhile, we have Alex Kreener.
Iran votes to open the gates of hell by going on an offensive air defense.
And that's like 6,000 sailors that will go to the bottom of the sea.
So do we really want to do that?
However wonderful you think this opportunity is, we stand to lose a lot, which is true, which is why Trump doesn't want to go to war, because it would be absolute suicide.
You know, they may perpetuate these slogans about the greatest fighting force there ever was in the history of the Milky Way galaxy and all this.
But, you know, they spent 20 years trying to subdue the Taliban in Afghanistan and they couldn't.
And they spent more than 10 years through the Saudi proxy and directly to try to subdue Ansar Allah in Yemen, and they couldn't.
They had to finally, you know, withdraw from the range of Yemeni missiles and sign basically a non-aggression pact with Ansarala government.
And none of these, you know, neither the Taliban nor the Ansarala are even close to what the Iranians can do.
And so the whole thing is a really dumb idea.
But the pressures bearing down on Trump are real.
And how do you deal with these pressures?
You know, my impression by now is that the American public is so sick and tired of Israel.
You know, there's still many supporters in the United States who see this period of history as rupture and biblical time end times.
And the fact that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, they don't care.
They think this is all part of the end times.
And so it is what it is.
But for the most, I think that the mood against Israel is such that if Trump just simply pushed Benjamin Netanyahu under the bus and Israel with it, that he would win A landslide in 2026 in this year's November midterm elections.
I don't know if that's a that would be a bold gamble.
That would be a very bold gamble because the media is still against you.
The donors are still going to be against you.
The big tech, you know, people like Larry Ellison and all these people are going to be against you.
But the ordinary people will be with you.
