Donald Trump has just outrageously kidnapped the president and first lady of Venezuela.
He's shown their photograph, his photograph, when he's under U.S. control as a prisoner.
This is all in violation of international law, the U.N. Charter.
He thinks this is going to get him off the hook and make him a hero among Americans, but anyone who understands the nature of international law appreciates that what he has done is discredit the United States as a member of the world community.
Outrageous, just disgusting.
I'm completely appalled.

I'm Victor Blackwell in Atlanta.
The breaking news this morning, President Trump says the U.S. carried out large-scale strikes on Venezuela overnight.
He says its president Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Celia Flores, have been captured and flown out of the country.
Attorney General Pam Bondi says both of them have been indicted and in a social media post says that they will, quote, soon face the full wrath of American justice.
The Venezuelan vice president says that she has no idea where Maduro and the First Lady are.
Faced with this brutal situation and this brutal attack, we do not know the whereabouts of President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Celia Flores.
We demand immediate proof of life from the government of President Donald Trump.
Proof of life for President Maduro and the First Lady.
President Trump says that he'll address the nation on the strikes from Mar-a-Lago later this morning.
Right now, it's quiet in the capital of Caracas, just hours after the strikes, but earlier explosions rocked Venezuela, knocked out power, and sent people running outside.
And this strike was at La Carlotta Air Base in Caracas.
CNN's Nick Payton Walsh joins me now from London.
Nick, we just heard from Issa Suarez speaking with some of her sources in country about the fear of what could come next because so many questions are unanswered.
Yeah, I mean, let's go through what we know has happened so far.
Since about 1 a.m. local time, and the series of explosions rocked Caracas and other parts of Venezuela, multiple helicopters seen in the air, and then clearly a U.S. special forces operation that removed Nicola Maduro and his wife from what should have been their heavily fortified and secured premises in the capital there.
Hard to understate quite what a move this is geopolitically by the Trump White House.
Okay.
Well, it's completely outrageous.
I mean, practically everything he said in this statement, which ran around 20, 23 minutes, very rambling, broad, was false.
He was talking about Maduro as the head of a narco-trafficking gang.
We know that he had fentanyl declared to be a weapon of mass destruction so he could justify this is supposed to be a terrorist state.
That's how he circumvents having Congress having to be obligated to declare war.
This is a warful action.
This is grotesque.
is a violation of the UN Charter, Geneva Convention, international law.
He's proud of it.
He thinks this is going to make him a hero to the American people.
I'm sorry to say anyone who understands the nature of relations among nations is going to recognize this is an act of bullying, of thuggery by the United States.
And in fact, he was even declaring that other leaders of other nations in the Western Hemisphere could have the same happen to them if they don't kowtow to the United States.
He talked about the Monroe Doctrine.
He clearly doesn't understand the Monroe Doctrine, but this is all outrageous.
Russia and China have protested, but the whole world is going to get behind it.
Frankly, if there were any justice in this world, this would be grounds to expel the United States from the United Nations.
Because we're a founding member, I suppose that's going to be legally impossible.
But the political and the moral will are there.
The justification is simply overwhelming.
The man has confirmed the vision of the world that the United States is a rogue nation, that it's out of control, that it doesn't adhere to international law.
And frankly, it appears to have a Zionist element.
He talked about the oil.
He said how Venezuela had stolen the oil from America.
That was the greatest property theft in American history.
How outrageous is that?
This is Venezuelan oil.
He's saying because the U.S. or international companies like Chevron had contracts that the Venezuela, that they were somehow inviolable and gave them permanent control of Venezuelan oil, which is ridiculous.
Not only that, but the opposition leader, this relatively obscure figure, somehow got the Nobel Peace Prize.
Turns out, by reports I have, to be an Israeli agent.
She's a Zionist operative.
And Maduro has been speaking out in favor of the Palestinians, just as in the past at Saddam Hussein.
Two oil-rich nations supporting the Palestinians.
And look how they get clobbered.
Gary, this is as disgusting as it gets.
I have never been more ashamed of the United States of America that I so proudly served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
This is a bad day for America.

Trump even talked about that as though it had been a good thing.

Next up, we have one of the biggest drills ever conducted by China.
China staged live fire drills around Taiwan on Monday.
Beijing deployed troops, warships, fighter jets, and artillery for its Justice Mission 2025 exercises.
The country's military said it had concentrated forces to the north and southwest of the Taiwan Strait and carried out live firing and simulated strikes on land and maritime targets.
It added that the drills would continue on Tuesday and include exercises to blockade the island's main ports and encircle it.
The exercises began 11 days after the U.S. announced $11.1 billion in arms sales to Taiwan, the largest ever weapons package for the island.
They marked China's sixth major round of war games since 2022, when then U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the island.
It also follows sharper rhetoric from Beijing after Japanese Prime Minister Sanai Takeichi warned that a Chinese attack on Taiwan could prompt a military response from Tokyo.
Taiwan's government condemned the exercises.
Presidential office spokesperson Karen Ko said the drills threaten security in the region.
Maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and the Indo-Pacific is a high consensus of the international community.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army conducting targeted military exercises around our country not only brutally undermines the current state of security and stability in the Taiwan Strait and the Indo-Pacific region, but is also an open challenge to international law and international order.
Our country expresses strong condemnation of the Chinese authorities, disregarding international norms and using military activities and means to threaten neighboring countries.
Taiwan's defense ministry said its military was on high alert and poised to carry out rapid response exercises.
Those exercises are designed to move troops swiftly in case China suddenly turns one of its drills around the island into an attack.
This Saipei resident appeared unfazed by China's military exercises.
I think these drills are just meant to scare us, to intimidate us.
Similar drills have happened before.
As ordinary citizens, I think all we can do is take care of ourselves, do our jobs well, and live our lives well.
Taiwan rejects China's claimed sovereignty, maintaining that only its people can decide the island's future.
Well, the world recognizes that one China policy, Taiwan actually belongs to China, eventually be reconciled with China.
This is all nonsense.
This is, you know, bravado, false vagrado from the Trump badminton trying to look tough on the world stage in dealing with international relations.
He clearly does not comprehend or remotely understand, as we've seen today with the snatch and grab of the Venezuelan president and the first lady.
The first lady?
What threat does she pose to the United States?
I mean, Gary, this is insulting beyond words.
This is the China is a very powerful nation.
Trump was making very exaggerated claims about the United States being the most powerful military in the world, far from it.
I'd say we rank after Russia, number one, China, number two, three, the U.S.
And after that, it's almost anyone's guess.
There was a time when Israel had a very formidable military.
But I'm, you know, Iran is actually building up and be very powerful.
I just say this is all nonsense.
Kabuki theater is not going anywhere, sending all the weapons.
It makes a military-industrial complex fat and handy.
And of course, they have their lobbyists in Washington, just as does APAC.
So, you know, they're going to lobby for Israel and have, where our Congress is Israeli-occupied territory, but don't forget the military-industrial complex.
Make sure they get their gigantic share of American taxpayer money.
All disgusting.
Doesn't amount to anything.
There's not going to be an effort by China to overtake Ukraine.
The Chinese think in terms of hundreds of years, the United States, the next three or four mags.
So they have a long-range vision.
They know eventually it's all going to settle down.
And Taiwan will once again be a part of China.
So they're not in any rush.
They're not going to precipitate a war.
And I'm rather baffled by the U.S. making such a pretense that there's a major threat here.
In my judgment, there is none.

Next up, we have you were just speaking about this.
It is December 30th, 2025.
And Trump is once again threatening to bomb Iran as he stood next to Netanyahu outside of Mar-a-Lago and declared that the U.S. was ready for the next phase of war and that Iran should know the consequences.
But what would that actually look like as Iran has spent the last six months preparing for the next phase of war, preparing for a possible attack and making it clear that every time they retaliate, that the price that Israel is forced to pay will be increased each time.
All of this comes as the Iranian president is saying publicly that his country is at war with the West because the U.S. and Israel and Europe, they do not want Iran to be a stable country.
If they did, they wouldn't be targeting it with all of these economic sanctions and trying to make it sound as if Iran is on the verge of collapse at any moment, while also insisting that it is the world's greatest threat.
So what should we be keeping an eye on as we go into the new year?
It seems as though we couldn't get through the year, couldn't get through 2025 without Netanyahu making one last visit to Trump.
This time he went to Mar-a-Lago of all places to meet in person with Trump on Monday.
And Trump went from gushing over Netanyahu.
He then turns around and he's like, oh, yeah, we haven't forgotten about war with Iran, threatening to bomb the country again.
And I thought it was interesting that the Washington Post did report that support for additional strikes against Iran was on Netanyahu's wish list for this visit.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, he's the obedient servant.
He is the lapdog of BB Netanyahu's puppet.
So whatever Israel wants, Israel gets.
And frankly, Iran is very beefed up.
They had the S-400 Russian anti-missile anti-aircraft batteries they didn't have before.
They have massive supply of their own missiles.
They only used like 5% during the 12-day war, where Israel was begging for a ceasefire because the Iranians were hitting them so hard.
They have additional now all kinds of aircraft, Russian and Chinese.
Anyone who thinks Iran is going to be an easy target really doesn't understand the score.
Plus, I mean, every nation is entitled to its own defense system.
Having those missiles is something they're entitled to have.
And for Trump to suggest we're going to take them out is just insane.
They're distributed all over Iran.
Iran is enormous.
Enormous.
There's no possible way they could take them out.
Iran hasn't been seeking nuclear weapons.
CBB always wants more.
He always wants more.
Claim the nuclear weapons, they don't have any nuclear weapons.
They only have nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
He knows that.
But he's been lying about it for like three decades, even it's in the United Nations.
And they have very good missile systems.
I wouldn't be surprised.
I mean, they've got their own drones.
They've got wonderful drones.
And I think it's very clear, Gary, that if the U.S. aids Israel in attacking again, Iran will not remain neutral with regard to U.S. forces in the Middle East.
In fact, I have a report about the U.S. closing one of its bases in Iraq, suggesting that's in anticipation of an Iranian strike.
The largest U.S. base is in Bahrain.
You can anticipate that'll be hit.
Any U.S. forces anywhere in the Middle East are going to be hit.
And I predict Israel will be all but obliterated.
I only hope the Palestinians who own the land, legitimately, not by theft or occupation, are able to survive in sufficient number to reclaim the property that has always belonged to them.

Richelieu is a classic foreign name from Halls, shared a photo of him holding a gun while on holiday in Florida earlier this year.
But after posting the image on LinkedIn, he had an unexpected visit from police officer at his home.
He told the Yorkshire Post, I need to get the guy on because I got to ask him many more questions.
And I've asked somebody who I know who's still active on LinkedIn to try to reach out to him.
And I'm going to try to find him as well.
The officer cautioned him about what he had been posting online and how it could impact other people.
Because recall, under UK law, if someone perceives the post to be threatening, you might get into trouble for it.
This is why I'm never going to England or the UK ever again until there's a massive radical shift politically, culturally, and legally.
However, police later returned to Hishelier Booth.
He was arrested, spending the night in a prison cell before being questioned over the picture and another separate image.
That's the one I'd like to know what that other one was.
Bail documentation allegedly mentioned accusations of a firearm possession intended to frighten, as well as stalking charges related to an image on to an image of a property.
So, did he post him holding a gun and saying, you know, I'm coming to get you, McAllister?

Well, they've had a gun ban in the UK.
They've had gun ban in Australia, New Zealand.
It's all predicated on the assumption the more guns, the more homicides, but that turns out to be false.
Experience, history shows the greater the gun ownership in a nation, the lower the homicide rate.
And if you think about it, it makes sense because if law-abiding citizens are armed, criminals perps don't know who might interfere, stop them from committing another illegal act, possibly even lose their lives in the process.
I mean, the idea of taking guns away from law-abiding citizens is as absurd as it gets.
And I'm talking about a worldwide phenomenon.
So worldwide, the higher the gun ownership, the lower the homicide rate.
We had a nice illustration of Brazil.
They had a broken guy in, then he went out.
The laws were loosened.
The homicide rate dropped.
And the looser was kicked out.
They imposed the higher the homicide rate went back up.
So the libtards out there are selling us a crock.
It's just all bullshit.
It's not rooted in any facts, any statistics, any real life experience.
