	It took me so long to find out that I found out.

	Meanwhile, here are some reports about it from Fox, and it really was a marvelous event.
	Trump vows new era of national success.
	Says America's decline is over.
	And Biden and Harris were sitting there to hear him say it all.
	Fred Biden said a tide of change is sweeping the country.
	Striking an optimistic note, as he told Americans during his inaugural address, he has been getting a new era of national success while declaring the country's decline is over.
	He addressed the nation Monday after taking the oath of office for the second time, being sworn in at 47th President of the United States.
	In recent years, our nation has suffered greatly, but we are going to bring it back and make it great again, greater than ever before.
	We will be a nation like no other, full of compassion, courage, and exceptionalism.
	Our power will stop all wars.
	And bring a new spirit of unity to a world that has been angry, violent, and totally unpredictable.
	America will be respected again and admired again, including by people of religion, faith, and goodwill.
	It was an excellent speech.
	It was appropriate, modest length.
	It was very clear in its language.
	Quite a success.
	Meanwhile, I had been apprehensive.

	Moving the event indoors, I believe, was a very, very important development.
	We're hearing reports of aerial bombs, could have been chemical, could have been fentanyl, potentially could have been exploded.

	The Pentagon was reporting and Hal Turner was noting, seeding a narrative already of something should happen to Trump in the next few days.

	I just got a little freaked out.

	If something should happen to Trump over the next few days, the main suspect is, here's the actual posting.
	Why say something like that unless it's already planned?

	I take this to mean they're setting up a narrative already.

	So while the U.S. may supply the targeting data, the munitions and air-to-air refueling, Israeli pilots offline most of the strike planes.
	Trump will then be able to blame Israeli hardliners for the strikes if they go ahead.

	According to Sergeant Vitaly Orsevsky, a member of the unit, the situation is dire and poses a significant threat to the combat readiness of the aviation brigade, as reported by galka.if.ua.
	The brigade servicemen released an official video saying, reporting they had recently been informed about planning to transfer nearly all technicians to infantry roles.
	Emphasized, this move would leave no personnel available to maintain the brigade's jets.
	Previously, 250 were reassigned from the gate.

	I've, of course, read the agreement, the text, and I've read some commentary, but I didn't follow it very closely.

	My basic understanding is the following.
	Number one, there is an interesting analogy to what just happened with the ceasefire.
	I suspect nobody among your viewers and listeners will know that on January 17th, that is today, January 17th, 2009, Operation January 17th, 2009, Operation Cast Lead ended.
	That was the Israeli assault on Gaza.
	At the time, it seemed like a very large assault.
	Excuse me, from December 26th till January 17th, with Amnesty International called 22 Days of Death and Destruction.

	First of all, because the people of Gaza had already paid hell in the past 15 months.
	So there wasn't much more that he could do.
	And secondly, because he didn't want to begin his presidency on such a Merciless, heartless note.

	And Trump made emphasize about bringing peace and eating wars to the world.
	And I honestly think he means it.

	Well, the big news, of course, of the week is the ceasefire.
	Israel and Hamas reached deal on Gaza ceasefire and hostage.
	Release from NBC. A ceasefire deal has been reached to end 15 months of fighting in the Gaza Strip.
	Hamas and Israeli officials and a source briefed on the negotiations told NBC News on Wednesday.
	Of course, that is now everywhere since this morning.
	The hard-won agreement will also free dozens of hostages held in Gaza as well as Palestinians in Israeli jails, bringing the first real break in violence since a week-long truce expired December 1, 2023. The news follows weeks of talks brokered by the United States,
	Qatar, and Egypt amid a brutal winter for civilians in Gaza, as well as dramatic developments across the Middle East that have dealt setbacks to Iran and Israeli foe.
	Israel and Hamas have not officially announced the deal, although their senior Hamas official Bassem Naim confirmed to NBC News the militant group had agreed to it.
	It will be made official, obviously, later this week.
	We are very happy to reach a deal today to stop the aggression against our people, but unfortunately we were able to reach the same deal last May.

	But as I say, only if they committed crimes.
	He's in essence pardoning people where bards make no sense unless there's a crime for which you're being pardoned.
	So it's basically a concession.
	That they committed crimes, about which there is a serious doubt among those of us who have reviewed the bidding.

	And if we can put that on the screen, it says, there was a lot of discussion in the live chat on whether Tilsey should just lie about her stance on Section 702 in order to get confirmed.
	I lean toward honesty, but maybe her views on the issue could just evolve back to opposition after she gets in.
	Barack's attitude towards gay marriage evolved, and Trump's attitude towards H&B business had apparently evolved, so I guess why not?
	Alright, so here's the thing, is even if Tulsi had some genuine change of heart, I remember Mike Johnson had exactly the same change of heart we talked about before he came on my show, he was ranting and raving against the evil of 702, and saying that it absolutely needed reform,
	it couldn't be renewed without And it was remarkable that the Democrats' response to this scandal that won the New York Times,
	the Pulitzer for revealing it, that Dick Cheney and George Bush were spying illegal on Americans, was to enact a bill, Section 702 of the Fives Amendments Act in 2008. That made it legal retroactively and going forward.
	And then that's the bill that has been renewed many times, even though it's been, as you would predict, widely abused.
	Tulsi Gabbard has been one of the most outspoken opponents of this intelligence weapon, and she voted against it in the House several times, and that was one of the major concerns when Trump nominated her to lead the intelligence community as director of national intelligence.
	And Republican senators who are all, not all, but most are hawks, are loyalists to the U.S. security state, despite all Trump's rhetoric about the CIA and the FBI and the NSA, which he means, but they don't.
	And they were ready to do to her what they did to Matt Gaetz, which is withhold their votes and refuse to confirm her.
	And the condition that many of them issued in order for her to get the vote she needed to be confirmed is for her to publicly disavow her prior opposition to Section 702 and actually come out and say that she now supports it, that she understands it's a crucial tool for the intelligence community.
	Basically to read from a hostage note that she was where she was forced to pretend that she had some.
	I haven't been able to take my eyes off my husband's pants since he tried this morning trick.
	What happened afterward?

	About this so-called external revenue service, Trump is sort of playing a shell game with that.
	In terms of tariffs, ultimately the consumer pays.
	For instance, if he were to place, say, a 10% tariff on all goods coming in from China, collect on, say, the wholesale value or some arbitrary, some established value of the goods coming in from China and collected some established value of the goods coming in from China and collected a 10% tariff, well, China is simply going to raise their prices to
	And ultimately, the consumer is going to reimburse China, the exporting country, for that tariff.
	And 10% is a very modest tariff in historical terms.
	I mean, tariffs can work in a buyer's market.
	If there are a lot of countries competing for the same markets in the United States, then it will drive the prices down, and ultimately it will benefit the consumer.
	But to say that China, or whatever the exporting country is that they place the tariff on, is going to be paying.
	It is sort of not being exactly straight with the facts.
	Ultimately, the consumer is going to pay.
	I think most Americans appreciate the point you're making, James.
	I just say the hatred for the IRS is so great.
	The very idea of getting rid of income tax is just enormously welcome.

	I think he brought to everyone's attention a very important thing that people wanted to ignore.
	What was a rabbi doing on that stage after everything that the Israelis have been doing to Americans?
