In response to the new aid being sent to Ukraine and attacked by mercenaries on Belgorod, the Russian army will now expand the objectives of the special military operation.
The two new regions, Kharkov and Sumy, will be the main focus of the new group in the north.
How appropriate is that?
The Russians know what they're doing.
Yes, the conflict is escalating.
U.S.
meddling in the massive amount of new U.S.
financial aid for military gear is causing it to get worse.
Zelensky could have at least bargained to cede the Donbass for Ukraine's neutrality, but I guess more regions will now be incorporated into the Russian Federation.
I fear they may be forced to take it all.
Meanwhile, Russia has sent an ultimatum to the European Union.
According to sources, Russia will retaliate against the EU if the 300 million in frozen Russian assets are used to help Ukraine.
This seems to be a major red line for Vladimir Putin, and it represents a massive yet overlooked element of the geopolitical conflict.
The escalation of this war, and the wise of Bricks, Can be traced back to one development, the U.S.
locking Russia out of the SWIFT system.
Throwing Russia out of the SWIFT messaging system, which is the international standard and protocol for moving U.S.
dollar reserve between banks, was one of the final straws for the global South.
Every country saw what happened to Russia and thought, are we next?
When will sweeping US sanctions or the democracy treatment come to our shores?
That's what they're thinking.
Whether or not Europe will backtrack and respect Putin's red line remains to be seen.
However, if they choose to proceed, it may escalate events leading to a potential third world war, where the incompetence of the West is so great.
It would not surprise me even remotely.

Most of our discussion centered on the rise of the BRICS nation and the decline of the U.S.
Dominated rules-based international order.
But we also discussed AP's recent report that an Israeli plane carrying a nuke destined for Iran was shot down shortly after leaving Jordanian airspace.
Here are the undisputed facts.
AP has confirmed the story with three separate sources.
So let me explain what this means.
Pepe Escobar is not a liar or a fabricator.
He is not someone seeking notoriety or publicity.
He's a reporter disseminating the story as it was told to him.
I hold Pepe in the highest regard.
We met for the first time at a conference in Moscow in December of 2023.
I knew immediately I had a new friend.
The real question is why sources are sharing the story.
Well, I agree with Scott Ritter and Ray McGovern that there are major holes in the account that raise questions about its legitimacy.
None of us have access to classified information detailing the movement of Israeli, Russian and U.S.
aircraft on 18 April 2024, so it could be true.
Alternatively, maybe this was a plan of disinformation designed to attack Nabi's credibility.
His reporting on Ukraine, the war between Israel and Palestine, had been a thorn in the side of the West.
So that is an alternative possible explanation.
I'm certain of one thing.
The news accounts about Israel's failed attack on Iran last Thursday do not make sense.
We do not have a good account of what happened.
Was there a missile strike that Iran defeated?
Was it a small group of quadcopter drones that were shot down?
It's not clear.
What we do know is the White House and the Pentagon made a big show of touting Israel's attack, an attack that Israel now refuses to acknowledge.
The breathless reports that kept U.S.
cable news channels churning for hours then dried up.
It became like a scene from the movie Naked Gun, where Detective Drabin tries to persuade a crowd of onlookers that the explosions and smoke they were seeing was nothing, nothing to see here.
How very interesting.
I like the idea.
Russia shot it down.
Meanwhile, CIA is getting embarrassed.
They're asking Zelensky, please stop stealing so much.
According to a new article by Seymour Hersh, CIA Director William Burns traveled to Kiev earlier this year to ask Zelensky to stop skimming so much off the top of USA money.
Apparently, his top generals are angry he was skimming more than they were.
Meanwhile, Congress voted to send $60 billion more to the corrupt regime.
With the money approved, calls are now going out for Western troops to be sent to Ukraine.

Well, we all should rest better now.
The Congress, in spite of the chaos, they got the money passed and we will be saving Ukraine and the rest of the nonsense that would go on.
But that to me was so bad, the whole process, this go-around, to pass that bill at the last minute.
But the one part that sort of caught my attention was the timing.
The timing was fake anyway because they really didn't have a deadline.
But they played on this issue of the deadline.
And symbolically, they would say, oh, two minutes left, two minutes left, as if they really cared.
And when you think of all the things, because that's the rules.
They wanted to show that they're rule followers.
They follow the rules.
It has to be done at a certain time, even if they make up the final date to go in.
So they did that and passed it.
And there was a lot of relief among Democrats.
I guess one of the worst things was Schumer bragging about, boy, did we take them.
Yeah, took them to the cleaners.
We really took them.
So I think that Johnson's going to have a tough time from now on, because they got the money and the war continued, and they pretended that it was OK for Ukraine Because we have always promised that we weren't going to send in the troops so we wouldn't expose our troops.
But it's equally bad in many ways.
That the violence comes with against the American people.
Don't protect the borders and steal more money from the American people.
It just go on.
So this whole idea that, you know, because we're not going to put somebody in a uniform, we'll just put them as a special military officer.
The CIA agents let them go in and pretend we're not involved.
It's that hypocrisy.
But fortunately, Daniel, I think A lot of people are waking up to the hypocrisy and I hope we can continue to make these points so more and more people will.
And it's no easy thing because we want to change the ideology in many ways of both parties and just switching party under these circumstances could be helpful.
Step in the right direction, but it's still not the solution because, you know, I've said so many times Republican and Democrats base their philosophy on interventionism.
Ron Paul is a great American.
I admire him more and more, especially after Donald Trump sold us out.
A man who was supposed to be a great non-interventionist turns out to be a phony and a fraud, and he's willing to support genocide.
In Palestine and war against Russia.
How ridiculous!
Doing nothing to secure our borders.
I am furious with Donald Trump.
Furious!
Meanwhile, Colonel Wilkerson has thoughts about Hezbollah, the Houthis, the Red Sea, China, Can you comment for us about Hezbollah in Lebanon and, Alhamdulillah, the Houthis in Yemen?
Sure.
I'm really worried about Netanyahu if he really gets feeling desperate.
And I think he's right there right now because I'm hearing very much that they're going to throw him out.
And if they throw him out, he's probably going to jail.
That he will try in desperation to expand the war.
And he's got military leaders That he can talk to that could expand it very quickly by really taking on Hezbollah.
And he wants to.
He wants to take on Hezbollah.
He'd prefer to have us do it.
But the best way to get us to do it is to get himself in an extremist situation with them and have to call us in in order to do it.
Then the second part of it was Yemen.
They're just doing what I'd be doing if I were they, and I saw the Palestinians being treated the way they are.
I don't think they'd be doing it if Gaza weren't going on.
And they've become very effective at what they're doing, partly with Iranian help, but I'm convinced they're getting help from elsewhere now, possibly even counterintuitively, possibly even China, and certainly probably Russia.
Because China's got just as much to risk in the Red Sea.
The Red Sea is the new cockpit of strategic competition.
Persian Gulf, what's it got?
Gas and oil.
Both of them are going away eventually.
Well, it's still important, but the Red Sea, if you look at the commerce that flows through the Red Sea, it's significant.
I mean, for China, it's very important.
It's something like 40% of their shipping goes up through there.
That's why they're there now.
What are the Israelis doing right now?
You'll see the media in this country picking up on it at all.
They're building an alternative to the Suez Canal.
In fact, this Gaza conflict may have expedited this process somewhat, because now they're not going to have to worry about dispossessing Gazans of land.
They're building an alternative to the Suez Canal.
They're also building an Intrepid down there at the bottom.
What has Erdogan done?
In addition to buying Alexandria, Egypt and its port facilities, apparently, because El-Sisi needed money so badly, they have bought a cheek and jowl stretch of the Sinai beside what Israel's doing.
Erdogan's no fool.
Erdogan wants to be there.
And he wants to be able to control it if he has to.
He's also back in Libya again now that the turmoil has gotten out of hand and it looks like he can find some ground to find a space.
And as I said before, he's in Somalia.
He bought a piece of land in Somalia so he can be on the Red Sea.
Everyone's a smart man.
Here's what he could have done.
Think about this for a minute.
I mean, we're not in this age anymore.
Thank God.
Erdogan could have marched his army down that narrow strip of land that encompasses only Lebanese and Syrian territory, picking up volunteers all the way, confronted the IDF and destroyed it.
That's how good an army Turkey has.
What would he have done?
He would have fulfilled his lifelong dream to be the unifier of the Muslim world.
To be that man who brought the Islamic Empire back into being, not as a caliphate, not as ISIS created, but as the leader of the Islamic world from Ankara.
Imagine, Shia, Sunni, wouldn't matter, Kurd, they would all rally to his cause, at least for a moment or two.
And he would have the entire Muslim world with him.
And he would have taken out the Nakba people.
But he won't do that, I don't think.
I hope not, because it would be bloody.
Well, it should be done, bloody or not.
God knows with slaughter, Palestinians is certainly bloody enough.

Meanwhile, Iran has unveiled a new weapon.
That can be devastating to American planes, including stealth fighters.

Iran recently introduced a new enhanced version of its Babar-373 long-range air defense system to renovate and intercept American stealth jet fighters.
The domestically produced ARVN-373 first went into service for the Iranian Armed Forces in 2019.
Its capabilities are out in comparison with Russia's S-300, long-range serviced air missile systems, and to the U.S.-made Patriots.
Iran unveiled the newest iteration during an April 17th military parade.
The weapons debut comes as tensions between Iran and Israel continue after Tehran responded to an alleged Israeli strike on an Iranian embassy in Syria by launching drones and missiles toward Israel on April 13th, an attack that was mostly thwarted, except remember now, as I've explained,
Their hypersonic missiles, seven of them all got through, destroyed two air bases and an intel command and control center, taking out 44 Mossad IDF leaders.
Good for Iran.

Israel minister says Biden policy is harming Israel.
Prefers Trump.
Even as U.S.
President Biden prepares to sign off on billions in military aid for Israel, the country's Diaspora Affairs Minister believes he's not doing enough to project strength for Israel.
The U.S.
is not projecting strength under Biden's leadership, and it's harming Israel and other countries, like I told you a member of the right-wing Likud Party told Israel's Khan Radio.
He said, don't at the start of the war to Hezbollah as well as Iran.
We saw the result.
If I were an American citizen with a right to vote, I'd vote for Trump and Republicans, he added.
No doubt about it.
Unfortunately, that is not, in my opinion, a good sign.

What began as a solidarity encampment at Columbia University has spread as far as MIT and Yale, UNC Chapel Hill in North Carolina, University of New Mexico, University of Michigan, University of Maryland, UC Berkeley in California, among others.
Though police have moved swiftly to sweep some encampments, such as the one set up at New York University, protests around campus have continued.

So we all were witness to some extraordinary scenes coming out of the campus grounds over the weekend.
Let's go ahead and put this up on the screen and maybe you can tell us what we see here.
It's the New York Police Department coming in to arrest what appear to be peaceful student protesters.
Just give us a little bit of what we're looking at and what the backstory is here.
Yeah, so on Wednesday, as many people know, including Columbia President Minouche Shafiq had been called to Congress to testify in front of the hearing of the House committee that has been hosting hearings on anti-Semitism.
And at the same morning that this was happening, hundreds of Columbia students had launched an encampment, both kind of in relation to this hearing, but more broadly, sort of escalating ongoing demands they've had for years now about financial transparency and and to call for the school to divest from companies that might be implicated in Israel's violence in Palestine.
And so wonderful, wonderful.
Colombia has actually now moved its classes online after the Gaza protests are trying to shut him down.

Remember, they've stretched the meaning of the word, so any criticism of Israel, even for genocide, is anti-Semitism.
How absurd is that?
A rabbi affiliated has also told a group of nearly 300 Jewish students to go home.

The Senate having passed the foreign aid bill, we already know Russia's response.
Tuesday night, last night, the Senate passed the $95 billion spending bill, including military aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, $79 billion to $18 billion.
The bill already passed the House, headed for Biden's desk for his signature.
Earlier, the Senate rejected an effort by some senators to add amendments to a legislation by 48 to 15.
The legislation, which also includes a provision that would ban TikTok, passed through the House as four separate bills combined to one in the Senate.
All bad.

Meanwhile, key witness testimony backfires on Alvin Bragg's case against Trump.
Already, things aren't looking good for the prosecution, even although it's only day two of the criminal trial.
Alvin Bragg's first witness was called to give his testimony.
David Pecker, CEO of National Enquirer's tabloid parent company, American Media, was asked to provide details on the catch-and-kill practice used to keep unfavorable stories about Trump from getting out.
The strategy involved purchasing the rights to a story but then never publishing it, keeping the negative press a secret from the public.
Here's about his testimony.
He returned to the witness stand.
He told the story of how a Trump-friendly tabloid evolved into a political weapon by catching and killing.
The prosecution expects Patrick to confirm their allegation that President Trump asked them to catch and kill stories he believed would harm him during his 2016 campaign for the presidency.
Pecker, however, did no such thing.
Instead, he totally unraveled the narrative by revealing that was actually Trump's disgraced former lawyer, Michael Cohen, not Trump himself.
Was concerned about the potential impact of negative stories on Trump's campaign.
It wasn't even Trump.
I think we're going to see a pattern here.
The case is going to fall apart.
Meanwhile, the judge I thought was the only competent may not be.
Trump-brained judge finally makes her move, revealing a treasure trove of new evidence.
This is in Florida, involving the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Trump called the trial a witch hunt, along with all the others.
Now the judge has made a big move by unsealing documents related to the unprecedented raid from Fox.
The judge resigned over former President Trump's classified dock case, unsealed a slew of documents Monday evening pertaining to the FBI's investigation into the former President and raid on Mar-a-Lago in 2022.
District Judge Aileen Cannon ordered the release of the new docks, which provided a detailed look into the personnel involved in the raid at Mar-a-Lago and a play-by-play timeline of the raid.
One of the docs is an FBI file suggesting the agency's investigation into Trump alleged mishandling was dubbed Plasmic Echo.
The judge ruled to unseal documents, including the timeline.
One of the revelations is it was coordinated with the FBI by the Secret Service.
Previously, Bart Trump lawyers and other staff were not allowed to enter the House.
We'll see what comes of this, but none of these have any merit whatsoever, either in fact or in law.
Thus, Marjorie Taylor Greene exposes the Democrats' final plan to get rid of Trump.
Trump is the only person who can stop the Marxist Democrats from destroying the America we know for good.

Their legal attacks against Trump have not only failed to take him out, they've actually earned him more support from the American people.

The top ranking member of the Homeland Security Committee, Thompson, did, however, create a fact sheet stating Trump will be impacted should the measure be approved and he found guilty of a crime.

He states, this is not a possibility we considered before, but it could actually happen.
I have previously speculated here he'd need his own wing to preserve secret service protection.
But the Democrats want to deny him that so they can have him killed, shanked by another inmate.
Meanwhile, the Biden campaign has been blindsided by two brutal realities.
There are other stories along the same lines, serious problems being confronted.
Most agree circumstances in 2020 largely helped Biden win the election.

Voters blame Trump for the fallout from the pandemic.

While this messaging serves as an indictment of how little the left actually thinks of Biden, CNN points out that the right feeling toward Trump are not at all what this narrative suggests.

Then we have Lauren Powell Jobs, formerly Steve Jobs' wife.
Then we have Diane Hendricks' wife of ABC Supply.
And then Christy Walton of Walmart.
And lastly, March at Mars of Mars Bar fame.
Now, I'm bringing this up.
Because if you notice of the 10 richest women, they did not do this on their own.
They got rich through marriage or through inheritance.
There was only one Diane Hendricks of ABC, a supply founder.
She helped her husband, you know, to become billionaires.
But otherwise, none of these people are really self-made.
They attach themselves to the male who got rich, and that's how these women got rich.
And I just observed this as another form of female privilege, because it's something I see all the time, where women marry into it, their husbands die, and they get rich.
And it happens over and over and over again.
And again, my point is, this is something feminists never complain about.
And they take it for granted.
And I also think this indicates, because of the IQ distribution among women, and that women don't create as many geniuses in comparison to men, and that men have more geniuses on the far right side of the bell curve.
