Need to Know News (9 February 2023) with Carl Herman and Brian Davidson

This is it, Jim Fetzer in Madison, Wisconsin, joined today by Carl Herman in San Ramon, California, and Brian Davidson in Houston, Texas.
We are here to bring you all the news you need to know.
We begin with proof that the North Stream Pipeline was destroyed by the United States.
Supposed to be a mystery?
Sorry to say, ain't anymore.
The New York Times called it a mystery, but the United States executed a covert C operation that was kept secret until now.
Seymour Hersh is refurbishing his credentials as our premier investigative journalist.
I'll read a lot of this.
It's much longer.

But you need to understand what happened here, because this may lead to a nuclear war that you and I do not survive.
U.S.
Navy diving and salvage center can be found in an obscure location down what was once a country lane in rural Panama City, the now Birmingham Resort City in the southwestern panhandle of Florida, where one of my daughters, by the way, and her husband have a condo.
The complex is as center's complex as nondescript as its location, a drab concrete post-World War II structure that looks like a vocational high school on the west side of Chicago.
It has been training highly skilled deepwater drivers for decades.
Who, once assigned to American military units worldwide, are capable of technical diving to do the good, using seafaring flotilla to clear harbors and breaches of debris and unexploded ordnance, as well as the bad, like blowing up foreign oil rigs, fouling intake valves for undersea power plants, destroying locks on cruise shipping canals.
The Panama City Center, which boasts the second-largest in-dew pool in America, was a perfect place to recruit the best and most taciturn graduates of the diving school who successfully did last summer what they'd been authorized to do 260 feet under the surface of the Baltic Sea.
Last June, the Navy divers, operating under cover of a widely publicized midsummer NATO exercise known as Ball Tops 22, planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines Two, known collectively as Nord Stream 1, have been providing Germany and much of Western Europe with cheap Russian natural gas for more than a decade.
The second, called Nord Stream 2, had been built but were not yet operational.
With Russian troop massing on the Ukrainian border, the bloodiest war in Europe since 1945 looming, Biden saw the pipeline as a vehicle for Putin to weaponize natural gas for his political and territorial ambitions.
Actually, what was going on here was a mutually beneficial commercial transaction that was going to reduce tensions in Western Europe and demonstrate the obsolescence of NATO.
That could not be allowed to happen.
As for contract, Adrian Watson said in an email, this is false and complete fiction.
Tammy Thorpe for the CIA wrote, this claim is completely and utterly false.
My decision to sabotage the pipeline came after more than nine months of highly secret back and forth debate inside Washington's national security community.
There was a vital bureaucratic reason for relying on graduates of the Center's diving school in Panama City.
The divers were Navy-only, not members of the Special Force Command, whose covert ops must be reported to Congress and briefed in advance to the Senate and the House.
Biden and his foreign policy team, Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor Tony Blinken, Secretary of State and Undersecretary of State for Policy Victoria Nuland, had been vocal and consistent in their hostility to the two pipelines, which ran side-by-side for 750 miles under the Baltic from two different ports in Northeastern Russia near the Estonian border, passing close to the Danish island of Bornholm,
Before ending in Northern Germany.
The direct result had been a boon for the German economy, which enjoyed an abundance of cheap Russian gas, enough to run its factories and heat its home while enabling German distributors to sell excess gas at a profit.
From its earliest days, Nord Stream 1 was seen by Washington and its anti-Russian NATO partners as a threat to Western dominance.
The holding company behind it, Nord Stream AG, was incorporated in Switzerland in 2005 in partnership with Gazprom, a publicly traded Russian company producing enormous profits for shareholders, dominated by oligarchs known to be in the thrall of Putin.
Gas problems control 51% with four European energy firms sharing the remaining 49%.
Gas profits were shared with the Russian government, and state gas and oil revenues were estimated in some years to amount to as much as 45% of Russia's annual budget.
America's political fears were real.
Putin would now have an additional and much-needed major source of income.
Germany and the rest of Western Europe would become addicted to low-cost natural gas from Russia, diminishing European reliance on America.
And even exhibiting the obsolescence of NATO.
That's exactly what happened.
Many Germans saw Nord Stream 1 as part of the deliverance of former Chancellor Willy Brandt's famed Ostpock theory, which would enable post-war Germany to rehabilitate itself and other European nations destroyed in World War II by utilizing cheap Russian gas to fuel a prosperous Western European market and trading economy.
Nord Stream 1 was dangerous enough in the view of NATO and Washington, but Nord Stream 2 would, if approved by German regulators, double the amount of cheap gas available to Germany and Western Europe.
The second pipeline would also provide enough gas for more than 50% of Germany's annual consumption.
Tensions were constantly escalating between Russia and NATO, backed by the aggressive foreign policy of Biden admin, but the German people were benefiting from cheap gas.
Opposition to Nord Stream 2 flared on the eve of the Biden administration when Ted Cruz raised the political threat of cheap Russian gas during the confirmation hearing of Blinken as Secretary of State.
Sad to say, Cruz told Being that there was a unified Senate that should halt the pipeline in its tracks.
There'd be enormous political and economic pressure from Germany, then headed by Angela Merkel, to get the second pipeline online nonetheless.
Would Biden stand up to the Germans?
Blinken said yes, but added he'd not discuss the specifics with the incoming president.
A few months later, as construction neared completion, Biden blinked.
In a stunning turnaround the admin waved sanctions against Nord Stream A.G., the State Department conceding that trying to stop the pipeline through sanctions and diplomacy had always been a long shot.
Behind the scene, admin officials reportedly urged Ukrainian President Zelensky not to criticize the move.
There are immediate consequences, said Republicans led by Cruz, that has the immediate blockade of all Biden foreign policy nominees and delayed passage of the annual defense bill for bonds deep into the fall.
Politico depicted Biden's turnabout on the second Russian pipeline, the one decision, arguably more than the chaotic military withdrawal to Afghanistan, that has imperiled Biden's agenda.
The admin was floundering, despite gaining reprieve on the crisis in mid-November, when Germany's energy regulators suspended approval of the second pipeline.
Natural gas prices surged 8% within days.
Amid growing fears of pipeline suspension and the possibility of a war would lead to a much-unwanted cold winter.
Not clear to Washington where Olaf Scholz, Germany's newly appointed chancellor, stood months earlier after the fall of Afghanistan.
He publicly endorsed President Emmanuel Macron's call for a more autonomous European foreign policy, clearly suggesting less reliance on Washington.
Opposition and Nord Stream 2 flared on the eve of the Biden admin.
We've already captured that.
They've already captured that.
Throughout all of this, Russian troops have been steadily and ominously building up on the borders of Ukraine.
By the end of December, more than 100,000 soldiers were in position.
Alarm was growing in Washington.
The admin's attention once again focused on Nord Stream.
As long as Europe remained dependent on the pipeline for cheap natural gas, Washington was afraid countries like Germany would be reluctant to supply Ukraine with the money and weapons it needed to defeat Russia.
It was at this unsettled moment Biden authorized Jake Sullivan to bring together an interagency group to come up with a plan.
Two months before the first Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, Sullivan convened a meeting of the newly formed task force for the Joint Chiefs CIA, State, and Treasury to ask for recommendations.
It would be the first of top-secret meetings in a secure room, also home to the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board.
The usual chatter led to a preliminary question.
Will the recommendation forwarded to the president be reversible or irreversible?
It became clear participants at Sullivan intended for the group to come up with a plan for the destruction of the two pipelines and that he was delivering on the desires of the president.
They debated options for an attack.
The Navy proposed using a newly commissioned sub to assault the pipeline directly.
Air Force wanted to drop bombs with delayed fuses that could be set off remotely.
CIA argued whatever was done, it would have to be covert.
This is not kiddy stuff.
This is an attack, an act of war.
At the time, The agency was directed by William Burns, a mild-mannered former ambassador to Russia who had served as Deputy Secretary of State in the Obama admin.
He quickly authorized an agency working group whose members included someone familiar with the capabilities of the Navy deep-sea divers in Panama City.
They began to plan for a covert op that would use the divers.
Something like this had been done before.
In 1971, American intel had learned from undisclosed sources two important units of the Russian Navy were communicating via an undersea cable buried in the Sea of Okhotsk on Russia's far east coast.
The cable connected a regional Navy command to the mainland headquarters in Vladivostok.
Iambic team at CIA and NSA operatives assembled under deep cover worked out a plan using Navy divers, modified subs, and a deep sub rescue vehicle that succeeded in locating the Russian cable.
They planted a sophisticated listening device that intercepted Russian traffic and recorded it.
NASA learned senior Russian Navy officers Convinced that the security of their communication link chatted away without encryption.
The crowing device and tape had to be replaced monthly, and the project rode on merrily for a decade until it was compromised by a 44-year-old civilian and NSA technician named Ronald Pelton, who was fluent in Russian.
He was betrayed by a Russian defector in 1985 and sentenced to prison.
He paid just five grand for his revelations about the operation.
Along with 35 more for other Russian operational data.
That underwater success, codenamed Ivy Bells, was innovative and risky, but produced invaluable intelligence.
Still, the interagency group was initially skeptical about the CIA's enthusiasm for a covert deep-sea attack, too many unanswered questions.
Throughout all the scheming, some working guys were saying, don't do this.
It's stupid.
It will be a political nightmare if it comes out.
Nevertheless, in early 2022, the Working Group reported back to Sullivan, we have a way to blow up the pipeline.
What came next was stunning.
On Feb.
7, less than three weeks before the inevitable invasion of Ukraine, Biden met in the White House with a German chancellor who, after some wobbling, was now firmly on the American team.
At the press briefing that followed, Biden defiantly said, if Russia invades, there will no longer be a Nord Stream 2.
We will bring it to an end.
Twenty days later, Under Secretary Nuland delivered the same message.
I want to be very clear to you today.
If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward.
Several of those planned were dismayed at what they viewed as indirect references to the forthcoming attack.
It was like putting an atom bomb on the ground in Tokyo until the Japanese were going to detonate it.
The plan was for the options to be executed post-invasion and not advertised romantically.
Biden simply didn't get it or ignored it.
Biden and Nuland's indiscretion might have frustrated some of the planners but also created an opportunity.
Some of the senior officials of the agency determined blowing up the pipeline could no longer be considered a covert option because the president had announced that we knew how to do it.
The plan to blow them up was downgraded from a covert op requiring that Congress be informed, the one that was deemed as a highly classified intel op with U.S.
military support.
Under the law, there was no longer a legal requirement to report the op to Congress.
All they had to do now was just do it, but it still had to be secret.
The Russians have superlative surveillance of the Baltic.
The Agency Working Group had no direct contact with the White House.
We're going to find out if the President meant what he said, that is, if the mission was now a go.
The source recalled, Bill Burns comes back and says, do it.
Asked at a press conference last September about consequences of the worsening energy crisis in Western Europe, Blinken described the moment as a potentially good one.
It's a tremendous opportunity to once and for all remove the dependence on Russian energy and thus take away from Vladimir Putin.
The weaponization of energy as a means of advancing his imperial designs.
That's very significant, and offers tremendous strategic opportunity for the years to come.
Meanwhile, we're determined to do everything we can to make sure the consequences of all this are not borne by citizens in our countries, or for that matter, around the world.
More recently, Nuland expressed satisfaction at the demise of the pipeline, testifying at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee in January.
She told Senator Ted Cruz, like you, I am, and I think the administration is, very gratified to know that Nord Stream 2 is now, as you like to say, a hunk of metal at the bottom of the sea.
The source had a much more streetwise view of Biden's decision to sabotage more than 1,500 miles of Gazprom pipeline as winter approached.
Well, he said, speaking of the president, I got to admit, the guy's a pair of balls.
He said he was going to do it, and he did.
Asked why he thought the Russians failed to respond, he said, cynically, maybe they want the capability to do the same thing the U.S.
did to us.
It was a beautiful cover story, he said.
Behind it was a covert operation that placed experts in the field and equipment that operated on a covert signal.
The only flaw was a decision to do it.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin reacts to the sabotage claim.
Russia is concerned by attempts to silently wind down an investigation into the explosions at the Nord Stream Pipeline, the Kremlin press secretary has said.
A report by Seymour Hersh, blaming the U.S.
for the sabotage, should spur attempts to find out what happened.
Articles such as the one by her show the need for an open international investigation into this unprecedented attack on this critical infrastructure, which by the way is not only an act of war but a violation of international law by attacking infrastructure that affects civilians, is impossible to leave this without finding the perpetrators and punishing them.
Russia has already spoken about that and pointing to the involvement of the Anglo-Saxons, the U.S.
and U.K.
in the incident.
There's a certain overlap between this information and the report by Seymour Hersh.
Hal Scott argued that though Hersh's journalistic investigation cannot be viewed as source material, it is a very important piece which must provoke the acceleration of the international probe.
But we, on the contrary, witness attempts to silently wind down such international investigation.
The bombshell report claimed the U.S.
was behind the pipeline.
Informed stores told him they were placed on the pipeline in the Baltic back in June by Navy divers under the guise of a NATO exercise and then were detonated in late September.
The sabotage of one, which delivered natural gas to Europe through Germany, along with newly-completed Nord Stream 2, rendered the infrastructure inoperable.
Carl, your thoughts?
Well, in the fog of war, we have Cy Hirsch, the 85-year-old journalist who, in 1969, broke the Mele massacre story about 500 civilians massacred in Vietnam.
And he also broke the story of Dick Cheney proposing a false flag attack on Iran by taking patrol boats Pretending they were Iranian, paint them up, give them flags, whatever, and then have those boats attack the U.S.
Navy in the Persian Gulf as a false flag opportunity for war on Iran.
So what do we know for sure?
We know that the U.S.
Navy did or was reported to hold those exercises at the exact location.
We have President Biden, Secretary of State Blinken, Under Secretary of State Nuland, just all Gleeful about it.
Yeah, and promising to do it.
They seem to have the motives and the means for that.
So, what's going to happen with this?
Is the House GOP going to set their sights on this?
Are the former colonial nations of the UN, are they going to gang together and finally take down the biggest criminal?
Because, you know, if this is true, and on its face it is, the US destroyed the pipelines, then Russia is correct and Jim is correct that this is a war crime.
This is targeting of infrastructure.
It is a terrorist act and it's an act of war.
So that's a big deal.
For this, if our audience members are saying, wow, is that true?
It could be.
We already have the goods.
We already have the receipts.

Well, this particular story does concern me quite a bit.
My question, I guess I would have is, why didn't the Russians do anything about this four months ago?
I mean, we had been telegraphing that we'd blow it up.
Were they waiting for Seymour Hersh to write the story?
I think this is the first war I can think of that may be starting not as a result of a false flag attack, but as a result of an actual attack.
Although, you could say Pearl Harbor was an actual attack.
It started World War II.
You could talk about the Gulf of Tonkin.
You could talk about how World War I started with that assassination.
This is an actual attack originating in the United States, it appears.
of Russian assets to help control Russia's prosperity.
Gazprom is a very serious company with over $120 billion a year in oil and gas revenues, and they released photographs of a bomb at the bottom of the pipeline all the way back in 2015.
That was at the bottom of the Nord Stream pipeline.
And it seems to me that the only losers here are the Americans and the Russians.
We are the people.
This is not our government anymore.
Ask yourself, is there a legitimate anti-war movement that still exists out there?
It used to be something called a Democrat.
That's certainly not the case anymore.
Will an anti-war movement rise up?
How will we be judged when this is all said and done if it's indeed true that we did this thing directly and blatantly to Russia?
It's basically a manual on how to start a world war and kill hundreds of millions of people.
Well, maybe that's what they want.
Maybe they want more expensive gas everywhere.
Maybe they want the American people struggling.
Maybe they want a nuclear war.
Hey, it might solve the global warming problem, the way these people think.
We have to take our government back.
I don't know how that's going to happen.
But I think it's going to have to start with some new leadership, because this puppet in the White House clearly isn't doing it for anyone, anywhere, anyhow.
It's time to start talking about our serious character flaws in the United States of America, especially our character flaws related to what we've allowed to happen in our government.
And this is very serious business.
This could result in millions of people dying.

And we treat it as if it's some political stunt.
Somebody's not thinking about the American people anymore.
It makes me very sad.

The only solution is to make illegal use of electronic voting machines because we're having elections stolen.
The American people don't want Biden.
They voted against Biden.
But remember, the motto of Dominion is changing the way you vote.
What they mean by that is from Republican to Democrat.
And the enormous constituents and beneficiary of the pipeline was the people of Western Europe.
They are being had in the process.

Just, uh, with the electronic voting machines, I just had sent you guys a little graphic from YouTube of the corporate media in the White House, uh, showing the State of the Union address and the proportion.
So, the State of the Union, okay?
81 million votes, allegedly.
He only had 38,000 total likes from, like, five corporate media in the White House sites, and the dislikes were, uh, over 75,000.
So it is a fraud, but until we get the Emperor's New Clothes moment, it is the tragic comic show.
Well, I think Brian has really emphasized the gravity of the situation.
We have to find a way of getting back to influence our government, and without Abandoning electronic voting machines is not going to happen.
They can run completely incompetent candidates, as they have done.
Not only in 2020, but in 2022.
They're stealing it before our nose and then using a corrupt judiciary to conceal it.
It is disgusting beyond words, Brian.
I think you really hit it on the head that this is just despicable.
Meanwhile, a border sheriff tells the truth about the rush of illegals.
It turns out illegals have a very simple reason for coming here.
According to Cochise County, Arizona Sheriff Mark Daniels, they're more than willing to share it.
The majority of people—we have an interdiction team that goes out daily.
They were out for their shift and had 15 smuggling events.
The majority—we talked to the majority of migrants, which I call modern-day slavery, what they're doing to these people.
They tell us the reason they're here is because President Biden gave a welcoming sign.
Sharing a simple message like this with the House Judiciary Committee on February 1st was a bold and honest choice for Daniels to make.
Getting such unpartisan row outlook into the grim realities of the border is something neither Biden or the rest of the Democrats are ready for, even though they claim to welcome their arrival.
For people like Daniels, Israel County along the border is a hotbed for illegal activity.
With a sprawling but incredibly remote base aboard Hachachua straddling the border, serving as one of the largest employers in the county, there's a lot at risk.
The illegals come over from Mexico, faced with a choice.
Take the earlier route through the mountains but across a remote military installation, or take a lot longer and come out in the middle of nowhere.
No matter which choice, they leave a path of destruction in their wake.
From field exercises to vehicles to homes, they invade and steal what they need as they cross through.
Many are smuggling drugs.
The level of human trafficking along the corridor is some of the worst in the state.
Large seizures on people and narcotics go underreported in the liberal news, so many don't see the issues they bring with them.
In Daniel's opinion, Currently, this is the ugliest I've experienced.
For some, with a record he has in history, it's a very bold statement.
Given the surge in millions that his department has had to spend on housing the illegals it detains, it becomes an epidemic.
By that metric alone, just two short years ago, Cochise County was one of the safest border counties in the nation.
Border-related bookings and attention costs during the year 2022 was $4.3 million.
Absorbed by my local and state taxpayers in a rural community, that's a huge impact.
Making it even harder is with reallocation of units from Fort Hachicho to other military installations.
Many of the contracting kids have disappeared.
While many companies call the rural county home, growth has become stagnant, with other towns like Bisbee, Hereford, and even Tombstone flatlining as well.
It makes forecasting anything positive difficult indeed, like El Paso.
He's not had the reach out of the Arizona governor or governors from other states to help ship the illegals to sanctuary cities.
While the base and town of Sierra Vista share a decent-sized airport, it goes vastly underused.
No major airlines are operating.
It would be a prime location for transporting illegals, weighing in on their status.
But the sheriff and his deputies have done a steady and solid job patrolling and have kept one another very safe.
While the county doesn't report the number of places as El Paso does, they are also much more rural.

And the impossible track of those crossing makes them the least likely to have accurate numbers, even with new tracking techniques.
This is no fault of their own, but a byproduct of Biden and other leftist diversion of money to grow their voter base with thousands of asylum seekers.

I'm literally in the middle of recording a program right now.
Paul, your thoughts.
Well, as a public school teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District, I was teaching in central L.A.
And the majority of my students were from south of the border, all different countries, mostly from the Mexico and the United States.
And the idea that they came here from an invitation from Biden, an opening from Biden, oh yeah, they come here for the jobs and the opportunity and for the education opportunities of their children.
What we know for sure is that we have international companies, and especially American businesses, just south of the border, they have factories called maquiladoras.
And in the maquiladoras, you have international companies who are there and they're taking advantage of the cheap labor.
It's going to be one to two dollars an hour, okay?
Now, my dog Mae, Our 10-year-old Wirehair Fox Terrier is good friends with her amigos who are the landscaping crew in our HOA 120 homes around the block association.

So these are the gardeners, the landscapers.
And I found one of their backpacks once I returned it to them They were very thankful that I kept it safe for them.
But there was a check stub in there.
That's how I identified it was them and not some student neighbor.
But they're making $20 an hour.
So for these guys to come across the border and get a job at $20 an hour, They're able to send significant help to their family and these people.
I mean, having worked with these people as a teacher and just know what I'm talking to them.
They're good hearted people and for people who are who are somehow.
I'll just give you this point of view and then you do what you want.
If we were the ones on the south of the border scrambling to make $1 to $2 an hour, and you need to understand that that's a good job at the Maquiladoras, there is demand for that type of work.
Or, go across the border, get a job at $20 an hour, that is tempting.
And without shutting the border down, duh, of course they're going to come.
They're going to come as long as the jobs are here to take.
They're coming because Biden's inviting them and rolling out a red carpet and it's outrageous and insulting and destroying America, sad to say.
Brian, your thoughts?
I think the official numbers, let me see, 2020, there was 458,088 people that came across the border.
In 2022, it's 2,378,944.
So, five times the level that it was in 2020 at the end of Trump's administration.
Basically, it's been opened wide open.
They've cut the funding.
They've cut our allowance to be able to hold these people and deport these people.
They're flowing in, taking over our public assets.
This is our country.
This is our land.
This doesn't belong to the Biden administration or the globalists.
These are our schools and our police departments and our hospitals and our roads.
I think that these people in D.C.
forget who they're working for.
It's getting to be very, very bad if all the classes in Texas have to support Spanish-speaking languages because the English-speaking kids have to be taught at the lowest common denominator of the schools.
Think of what's happening to our maternity wards in our hospitals.
Think of what's happening to the medicines that we have in our hospitals, our cardiac areas, and our intensive care units.
Think of our cities.
Have you been down to Home Depot in an urban area lately?
Have you looked at what's going on in the parking lot?
These people can't find work.
They don't have social security numbers.
Employers cannot employ them en masse.
Employers are having a terrible time supporting these people.
Crime is up.
There's other areas of our communities that are being encouraged to commit more crime as if they're more victims.
This is... Something has to break.
And it has to break soon.
And I'm hoping that it breaks in 2024.
Maybe we'll have another Trump ticket with Lake.
Boy, that would be nice to see something significant happen.
But it's broken.
The system is completely broken.
We all know this.
It's just a matter of what are we going to do to fix it, because we have to work at our county level, as well as at our state level, as well as at the federal level, to replace these bureaucrats, these lifetime bureaucrats.
They've got to go.
Even freshman student economics know you cannot combine open borders with a welfare state.
It's unsustainable.
And it's a deliberate attempt to wreck the economy of the United States, and it is happening.
It's really a race to the bottom is what they're doing.
They do want to destroy America.
And there's no other way to look at it.
This is treason.
This guy should be impeached.
This actor should be impeached, as well as the director of Homeland Security for allowing this.
It's grotesque.
It is grotesque, outrageous, unconstitutional.
Everything about it is wrong.
Watch Biden repeatedly heckled during the State of the Union, argued with Republicans in a wild display.
Biden was met with repeated heckling during the State of the Union by Republican lawmakers willing to call out what they deemed to be false claims.
It was a wild scene throughout, as some were willing to step up and blast the President in the middle of his speech.

And so what was happening was that the Universal Church, Catholic Church at the time, was vacuuming up all these estates to have these massive building programs.

This isn't how salvation comes along.

Therefore, you need to have a realistic place to stand.
And, you know, people do need to, when the outward seems so bad, you do need to go in.
And much as the saints do, and just with practically understanding, as I've said, all we can control I've come to the conclusion that our role here is to act as a messenger.
Now, we have a message and we're confident that we can explain, document, and prove the content of our messages as being comprehensively, factually accurate.
Okay, so we deliver our message, and that seems to be the extent of our powers.
In order to win this thing, we're going to need some sort of a breakthrough, which by its definition is going to be unpredictable and unimaginable, and we're going to need some help from friends in high places.
And that said, I'm absolutely comfortable in this war.
That's a weird paradoxical thing to say.
