This is Jim Fetzer, Madison, Wisconsin, joined today by Jill Olson in Houston and Marian Hennane in Florida.
We're delighted to have her with us.
We're going to bring you all the news you need to know.
Today the news is startling.
Russia has accused the U.S.
at covering up violations of the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention.
This comes after Russia has discovered biolaboratories in Ukraine, and after the State Department official, Victoria Nuland, confirmed in testimony to Congress on Tuesday that the USA has biolabs in Ukraine.
The Biological Weapon Convention is a disarmament treaty that effectively bans biological and toxin weapons by prohibiting their development, production, acquisition, transfer, stockpiling, and use.
These are horrendous weapons.
They have been banned.
The U.S.
is violating the ban.
The convention was ratified by 143 nations but lacked means of insurance compliance in the U.S.
Of course.
Rejected biological weapon convention protocol back in 2001.
Russia Today, which is now being banned even in the U.S., reports an international treaty banning bioweapons needs to be strengthened with a compliance verification mechanism contrary to the U.S.
position on the issue, Moscow said Wednesday.
The call comes in the wake of the reported discovery of evidence that there were lethal pathogens at Pentagon back labs in Ukraine.
The Russian military reported that Ukrainian authorities had ordered the destruction of highly pathogenic samples stored at the U.S.-backed biological labs throughout the country.
Meanwhile, Russia has released captured documents before the U.N.
Special Council meeting exposing evidence of these U.S.
military labs.
This is stunning.
This is the United States being caught with his pants down.
The United States has declared these do not exist, but obviously they have.
The Russian mission has asked for the meeting of the Security Council to discuss the military biological activities of the United States.
U.S.
officials have offered varying responses to Russia's claims.
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, for example, telling lawmakers Tuesday Ukraine does, in fact, have biological research facilities, the Russian Defense Ministry continues to study materials on the implementation of military biological programs by the United States and its NATO allies on the territory of Ukraine.
Russian officials released a preliminary report before the meeting today.
The information received from various sources confirms the leading role of the U.S.
Defense Reduction Agency in financing and conducting military biological research on the territory of Ukraine.
Details of the UP4 project became known, implemented with the participations in laboratories in Kiev, Kharkov, and Odessa, designed for the period up to 2020.
Its purpose was to study the possibility of the spread of particularly dangerous infections through migrating birds, including highly pathogenic H5N1 influenzae, the mortality of which is 50%.
For humans, as well as Newcastle disease.
Due to the fact Ukraine has a unique geographic location where transcontinental migration routes intersect, 145 biological species were studied within the framework of the project.
At the same time, at least two species of migratory birds were identified whose routes pass mainly through the territory of Russia.
Information about migration rates through the countries of Eastern Europe was also summarized.
Of all the methods developed by the U.S.
to destabilize the epidemiological situation, this is one of the most reckless and irresponsible, since it does not allow to control the further development of the situation.
This is confirmed by the course of the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection, The occurrence and features of which raise many questions.
In addition, the R781 project is interesting where bats are considered as carriers of potential biological weapons.
Among the priorities identified are the study of bacterial and viral pathogens that can be transmitted from bats to humans.
It's noteworthy the research is carried out in close proximity to the borders of Russia, in the barriers of the Baksik coast and the Caucasus.
The project has been implemented with the involvement not only of Ukraine but Georgian biological laboratories controlled by the Pentagon in cooperation with Virginia Politech Institute in the U.S.
Geological Survey.
This is stunning stuff!
The analyzed materials for the UP8 project aimed at studying the Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever virus and Hanta viruses in Ukraine clearly refute U.S.
public statements that only Ukrainian scientists work in the Pentagon labs in Ukraine without the intervention of American biologists.
One of the docs confirms that all serious high-risk studies are conducted under the direct supervision of specialists from USA.
The payroll of the contractors in Ukraine demonstrates how they're financed.
Department of Defense paid the money for research participation directly without the involvement of intermediaries.
The extremely modest pay by U.S.
standards is noteworthy.
Indicating a low estimation of the professionalism of Ukrainian specialists and the neglect of their American colleagues.
In addition, the material contains proposals for expansion of U.S.
military biological programs.
The Pentagon is also interested in insect vectors capable of spreading dangerous infectious diseases.
The obtained material confirmed the transfer of more than 140 containers with ectobaricides of bats, fleas, and ticks from the biolab in Kharkov.
Significantly similar research was carried out back in the 1940s on the development of a biological weapon component by the Japanese Unit 731, whose members later fled to the U.S.
to escape prosecution for war crimes.
I would like to remind you the Russians report representatives of Western countries are extremely cautious about handing over biomaterials at the same time.
Available docs confirm numerous cases of transferring biological samples of Ukrainian citizens abroad.
For example, 350 crypto-containers with blood serum samples were transferred from the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to the Reference Laboratory for Infectious Diseases of the Australian Doherty Institute under the pretext of determining antibody titers.
Another example is German-funded Project No.
687271 on the study of Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever pathogens and hantaviruses.
As part of this project, 1,000 blood syrup samples of citizens from different regions of Ukraine, belonging exclusively to the Slavic ethnic group, were donated to the Barnhart-Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg.
It is highly likely one of the objectives of the U.S.
and its allies is to create bioagents capable of selectively targeting different ethnic populations.
During a hearing of the U.S.
Senate Foreign Affairs Committee on the 8th of March, just a few days ago, Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland acknowledged the presence of bioweapons in Ukraine, where biosecurity research has been conducted.
She expressed concern about the possibility of these biolaboratories and their materials being taken over by the Russian Armed Forces.
According to available information, Americans have already managed to evacuate most of the documentation, including databases of biomaterial and equipment from laboratories in Kiev, Kharkov, and Odessa to the Love Institute of Epidemiology and Hygiene in the U.S.
Consulate in Lviv.
The possibility of transferring part to Poland has not been excluded.
With her statement, Nuland confirmed the Pentagon's military biological program in Ukraine in circumvention of existing international agreements.
Joe, this is just about as shocking as it gets.
This is completely disgusting, exposes the hypocrisy, the deception, and deceit by the U.S.
government in a manner involving a great threat to the health and well-being of the world's population.
This is despicable.
Your thoughts?
Yeah, University of Illinois lawyer Francis Boyle wrote the Biological Convention Treaty, which the United States refused to sign.
And in August of last year, there was a week-long conference of the Biological Weapons Convention, and they managed to find absolutely nothing.
Boyle said as soon as the Wuhan thing came out, and the group from India said it contained four sequences of HIV, he said this is unequivocally a biological Man-made gain-of-function weapon in 2019, before we even got down that stupid road with all of the mandates and stuff.
And they've also been claiming that they're trying to develop insect vectors for delivery of vaccines, which includes mosquitoes.
And now we've had release of Oxitec.
O-X-I-T-E-C.
Genetically Modified Mosquitoes in Southern Florida.
And because Florida's already allowed them to do it, they're going ahead and release it in more areas in Florida and four different counties in California.
And this is run by the Gates Foundation, which has already stated that they need to exterminate about, oh, six or seven billion people on the planet.
So what in the world is going on?
And what in the world are we doing to stop it?
Absolutely nothing.
We're led by a bunch of blind mice and we've got a Pied Piper who's playing the devil's tune.
Absolute insanity, folks.
How could you have a higher form of treason?
I cannot imagine.
Miriam.
In regards to Oxitec, they've been developing the genetically modified mosquitoes since the days of Zika.
They've unleashed them, as Joe said, in the Florida Keys.
What occurs with these mutant mosquitoes, the males, is they're supposed to terminate, like the terminator seeds.
However, in close proximity to one antibiotic, They actually don't die.
So what happens is you have a genetically modified mosquito that will then copulate with a normal mosquito.
What do you create?
Who knows?
And Gates also said that basically these would be flying syringes.
So to go back to this convention that was created in 1972, just to state again that gain of function and messing with nature and messing with viruses to make them more dangerous is nothing just to state again that gain of function and messing with It's been going on for a while.
And it seems that I looked up this, the convention in the archives to see what I could find.
And I wanted to read basically, they have the secret council of which the US and the Soviet Union are members reserves the right to veto any request for an investigation should any allegations or infractions be lodged to the they have the secret council of which the US and the Soviet Union are members reserves the right to veto any and around the world.
I mean, what is the point if you have a secret council, but then you can't conduct a proper investigation?
So, in reality, all of these countries, whether it is the Ukraine or Russia or the United States, have been meddling with nature.
That is just a fact.
If they're going to be going after Slavics, ethnic groups, or if they're creating hemorrhagic fever, There's so much disinfo.
What is really going on?
Who has our best interest?
Well, I think there can be no doubt that Bill Gates, George Soros, Anthony Fauci and the like are traitors to the United States.
They're evil persons.
Meanwhile, anyone who thought that Vladimir Putin was a stooge of the World Economic Forum stands corrected.
The World Economic Forum has cut its ties with Putin.
Its corporations have suspended sales with Russia.
The WEF, the globalist movement, has decided to sever ties with Russia after President Putin sent troops into Ukraine to demilitarize and carry out a denazification of his government.
A WUF spokesman said, We are not engaging with any sanctioned individual in a frozen all relation with Russian entities.
A research center and an advisory council located in Moscow has also been severed from the WEF, but the group says they will continue to work on the relationship between Russia and Ukraine, as reported by Politico.
The 800-pound gorilla of the elite global conference circuit has walked a tightrope for decades when it comes to Russia, basking in the Kremlin's attention while cringing over oligarch actings.
The forum's founder, Klaus Schwab, prides himself on making his annual meeting in Davos open to all comers, including via a personal relationship with Putin dating back to the early 1990s.
The WEF has been addressed by Putin and his predecessor, Dmitry Medvedev, five times over the past 14 years, but Putin turned down their invitation to speak in 2015.
Since troops moved into Ukraine, Russia has been cut off and isolated from the rest of the world.
Big banks have taken away the ability to make international transactions, along with other sanctions.
Now big corporations are pushing them further into economic ruin.
Coke, Pepsi, McDonald's, Starbucks have all announced they'll no longer be operating in Russia.
Coca-Cola said, our hearts are with those who are enduring an unconscionable effect from these tragic events in Ukraine.
We will continue to monitor and assess the situation as circumstances evolve.
I wonder if they realize they're supporting the U.S.
biolabs dealing with these toxic pathogens in Ukraine thereby.
Pepsi followed suit, released a similar sentiment, suspending sales.
McDonald's closed over 850 locations.
Starbucks, in their typical woke fashion, has plenty to say about the situation, where its CEO sent out a memo We condemn the horrific attacks on Ukraine by Russia, and our hearts go out to those affected.
We continue to watch the tragic events that unfolded today.
We decided to suspend all business activity in Russia, including shipment of all Starbucks products.
Our licensed partners agreed to immediately pause store operation and will provide support to the nearly 2,000 partners in Russia who depend on Starbucks for their livelihood.
The irony here is all these companies in the long run may be doing the Russian people a benefit.
No one needs to be ingesting their poison products anyway.
As financial institutions and corporations are celebrating their role in attempting to bankrupt a sovereign nation, People need to keep in mind, if these institutions and corporations can do this to a country like Russia, they can turn that on anyone at any time.
I think the consequences, by the way, are going to be very different than they anticipate.
I believe copyrights are not going to be respected.
I think you're going to have Russian versions of Starbucks and McDonald's popping up with Russian owners enfranchised to make money for the Russian people.
Joe, your thoughts?
Yeah, well today Putin announced that he was doing a moratorium on any exports of materials or resources from Russia until December 31st.
So he's just basically suspended all exports.
And some of those include, they're the largest supplier, 90% of the world's supply of palladium.
Which is what we need to make our catalytic converters work, so goodbye Detroit on that one.
Neon, which they're largest producer of, which is used for lasers and also used as a component in integrated circuit chips.
Krypton, again used in circuit chips.
So bottom line is He's got as much ability to kick back as they have to kick forward, and if you think that this can't come down to a personal level, just look at what the little tiny tyrant Twinkle Toes Trudeau did in Canada to everybody's bank accounts.
You basically don't have a dime in Canada, and you have no civil rights.
They can throw you in jail.
Look what they did with the J6 people.
They've been in jail for over a year without even having any charges filed against them.
So if you think that you can play patty cake and be nice with these guys and that they're gonna, you know, treat you nice in return, get over it!
They have stated for centuries that they want to control the world of nothing but 500 million slaves and control it with a couple of thousand ruling families and just make it a giant feudalist state on the whole planet.
And that's where their goal has been since frickin Darwin and the Nihilists and Malthus.
So get over it.
They are not going to be the people that they tell you they're going to be.
These are demonic monsters.
Maryam, your thoughts?
Well said, Joe.
I believe this exiling by WEF of Putin is very indicative of what might really be going on if he's not playing their game.
It seems pretty clear that this is a financial reset.
And look, this is cancel culture on steroids.
If you have all these companies punishing, again, the Russian people, the Russian people are not Putin and they don't need McDonald's.
I mean, meaning if we were going to be cut off of fast food and all this junk, We would be better, we would be better off.
I want to share that, so this is the 16th day of the war, and when you, when I spy on Lester Holt, they make it sound like this war has been going on for a long time.
Nancy Pelosi admitted yesterday, she literally says that the Russian ban has, they've been talking about it for a while.
We know now everything's scripted, it's, They planned this in advance.
There was a Sunflower campaign.
I don't know if you've heard of that, but now Sunflower is a symbol of solidarity for the Ukrainian people and that also they have been recruiting Americans to volunteer to go and fight in Ukraine.
They actually did a whole segment on this and you go and you fight in another country's war on your own dime.
So supposedly people are offering themselves to go and fight on behalf of to go and fight for the Ukrainians, which seems volunteer fighters seems a little bit cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.
I just want to also say that the convention The efforts began in 1941 to develop bio-agents and the secret council, the convention went into effect actually in 1975, not 1973.
Well, I think the point about Bill Gates, you know, promoting these genetically engineered mosquitoes is just insanity.
I mean, this Gates needs to be strung up by the neck until dead.
Give the guilty bastard a fair trial and then execute him in a public ceremony.
This is disgusting.
Meanwhile, Blinken at the Department of State goes rogue on Ukraine policy, causing high-risk situation, but Kabbalah keeps crackling.
The events that have occurred in the past few days have emerged vitally important to understand.
During this important time when war is looming, our State Department seems to be going rogue.
Here's what appears to be happening.
Ukraine is being treated as a game by some U.S.
politicians who seem uncaring about the ability to hurt so many.
Last week, the Department of State Secretary Antony Blinken made a statement and greenlighted a plan for Poland and a NATO ally to send MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.
He made the statement in Moldova to three media outlets.
Poland, however, only first learned of the plan through the media.
Fair to say Poland was caught off guard.
The pro-Ukraine Western media began asking the Polish government for details and the reply came back that it was fake news.
Poland had no intention of sending jets to Ukraine.
Poland assessed the situation further and told Blinken it wasn't going to happen.
He, however, had created quite a ruckus within Western government about plans for the planes, so he left Poland to fend for itself.
He stayed quiet.
In response, without telling Blinken, Poland ended up saying it would send jets to Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany, but not to Ukraine.
So if Blinken wanted to use the jets to create his war with Russia, it was now his move.
Poland stepped out of the pile blinking and put them in it by calling his bluff, necessitating the Pentagon getting involved and putting the brakes on the whole idea where the Pentagon has formally rejected the idea of sending jets from Poland by way of Germany into Ukraine.
The whole situation highlights the brokenness of the U.S.
government and points to the fact that the Department of State is becoming its own branch of government.
All this is bad enough.
On top of this, however, Vice President Harris' diplomacy skills, which are nonexistent, were displayed in a brutal fashion in Poland, where she was asked questions about the ever-changing situation with the jets, response with about the worst a person could give she dodged and laughed none of this is funny anymore never was never will be she deferred to the polish president she couldn't even answer the question and then she started cackling about it
how insulting is that joe your thoughts yeah well i recommend everybody go to the conservative treehouse They've got a little article about, uh, clueless Camilla embarrassingly showcases her lack of confidence during visit to Romania.
So not only did she embarrass herself in Poland, then she stepped across the border and did it again in Romania.
But this just popped up!
Uh, our lovely, fearless leader, FJB, just signed a executive order memorandum on the designation of the state of Qatar as a major non-NATO ally.
So last night, the House passed Senate over to the Senate a bill, a $1.5 trillion omnibus bill.
Bear in mind, we have not had a balanced budget submitted by Congress since 2007.
Everything has been a continuing resolution for the last 15 years.
So they passed this stupid spending bill without ever having a budget.
And it includes $14 billion for Ukrainian arms.
And so now we set Qatar up to be the middleman so we can't be directly implicated.
Qatar is the home base of the Muslim Brotherhood.
And we're going to be giving $14 billion to Ukraine so they can go to Qatar and buy U.S. weapons through Qatar.
And we can say that we're Pontius Pilate.
We didn't have anything to do with Jesus's blood as we wash it from our hands.
Absolutely insane.
And it also includes vaccine.
The 2,700-page bill that they passed last night includes vaccine mandates and $10 billion in earmarks because every senator's got something in his home district.
He needs to have funded.
So let's hurry up and get this thing passed in the middle of the night at 1.30 a.m.
So nobody can see it.
Nobody has time to read it.
And we're going to just make, oh, it's just such a happy circus for the people at the top.
This is insane.
Right.
And.
You said that well, Joe.
Mariam?
Well, on the topic of Kamala, only Kamala would find it appropriate to laugh when talking about Ukrainian refugees when she met with the Polish president, right?
And I want to say that America, the U.S.
has given $6 billion to the Ukraine since 2014 for weapons, military training, and you're speaking about the $1.5 trillion omnibus, Joe?
Yes.
And $13.6 billion in defense aid to Ukrainian... I mean, isn't this money laundering?
It would be if you and I were doing it.
I mean, really?
$13.6 billion?
Yeah.
Disgusting.
Well, this is all lunatic, of course.
And Joe, what's in there about mask mandates?
I'm very worried about that.
Meanwhile, we'll be right back.
Here we have one author raising questions about what's really going on in Ukraine.
Illusion Warfare Report, The Road to Ukraine.
Join me as I lark my way into the Hollywood movie set we know as Ukraine.
Will the Matrix allow me to peek behind the curtain of a manufactured and manipulated world stage event?
He claims to have a friend who's gone into Kiev and finds no signs of any war taking place there.
Frankly, I'm skeptical, but there are those who hold this view that we have a television-created movie, another Wag the Dog.
Meanwhile, a Democratic pollster says the good news is Biden can now blame Putin for high gas prices, but admits they were going up before the war.
Some Dems are embracing sky-high gas prices because the energy crisis is giving them a villain they can blame to distract midterm election voters from the Democrats' own policies.
Fat chance.
Democrats have the work cut out in the 2022 midterms.
Between historic inflation, skyrocketing gas prices, failed legislative maneuvers, a botched Afghanistan withdrawal, polling consistently shows Republicans with a comfortable generic ballot lead over Democrats.
But one pollster recently let the cat out of the bag.
For Democrats, the gas price crisis is not all bad.
Celinda Lake, a Democrat pollster who worked for Biden's campaign in 2020 and continues to poll for Biden-aligned groups, told the Washington Post Democrats can coalesce around a messy blaming high gas prices on Russian President Putin.
The good news is we now have a very specific reason for rising gas prices and a specific villain.
Before, it was kind of ambiguous.
What's going on?
Why are gas prices going up?
No one who paid attention to his actions on his first day in office in canceling the XL pipeline and forbidding drilling on public land has any doubt about what's going on here.
This is outrageous.
The public is not going to be caught.
The Biden admin has taken the message to heart nonetheless.
Biden said Tuesday gas prices will continue to increase.
Tonight he couldn't do anything about it because Russia is responsible.
The White House released a video explaining why Biden is not responsible, coalescing around the phrase, Putin's price hike, to shed any responsibility.
Democrats face another problem amid the gas price crisis, however.
They're reportedly looking to Venezuela and Saudi Arabia to help supply Americans energy needs after cutting off Russian oil.
But that's not going over well in Florida, where a significant Hispanic population rebukes any association with socialist dictators like Venezuela's Nicolás Maduro.
Democrat Val Demings, for example, running for Rubio's Senate seat, Said she was deeply skeptical of the talks with Venezuela.
Charlie Crist, running for governor, said he was deeply concerned the wrong change to our policy would simply enrich Maduro's brutal dictatorship and set back the fight for democracy.
If America was down to its last barrel and Venezuela was giving oil away for free, we still shouldn't go to the Maduro regime for help, said Democrat State Senator Annette Taddeo, running for governor.
Meanwhile, Democrat lawmakers are increasingly calling on the Biden admin to increase domestic oil production to help alleviate problems for America, which were created by the Biden administration by his actions right off the bat.
Meanwhile, the U.S.
reaches out to once shunned oil producers.
Three checkered oil regimes that Biden and past leaders have spectacularly snubbed—Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, and Iran—are now targets of U.S.
outreach as global fuel prices reach jarring levels.
It's not clear any U.S.
diplomacy could get more crude oil on the market fast enough to help the current supply crunch or tear what shunned oil states away from what, for Saudi Arabia in particular, are profitable alliances with Russia.
Saudi Arabia has already declined the invitation.
The UAE, like Saudi Arabia, won't even take phone calls from Joe Biden.
For the administration, the overtures to these problematic oil giants could lead to stabilizing rising oil and gas and draw the governments closer to the West.
But at worst, And it's happening for a certainty.
Biden risks humiliating rebuffs and condemnation for outreach to governments accused of rights abuses and violence.
We have an interest globally in maintaining a steady supply of energy, including through diplomatic efforts, said Secretary of State Blinken.
Meanwhile, the Russian economy is unlikely to collapse despite the sanctions, and as I've already implied, Not only is Russia likely to produce its own variations of McDonald's, Starbucks, and all that for local franchises and let American patents go to hell, but Russia has the resources to survive.
It's not so obvious the U.S.
can survive without Russian natural resources.
Meanwhile, as Joe observed, Russia retaliates no exports for the rest of the year.
Russian President Putin has announced he'll ban all exports of products and raw materials from Russia until December 31st.
No one gets anything.
Initial assessments say it includes all the oil, gas, grain, metals, slew of important commodities.
Putin signed a decree restricting imports and exports of products and raw materials to ensure the security of the Russian Federation.
The list of the countries that will be banned, which I guarantee you will not include China, shall be determined by the government, as Hal Turner observes, Europe and the U.S.
are so screwed.
Joe, you are on top of this one already.
Give us your further thoughts.
Yeah, well, we've done so far an eight-part series, usually about an hour apiece, on global warming, green energy, and peak oil, the trifecta of absolute, provable scientific lies that make up the new green steel.
And rather than try to explain this in a five-minute discussion on this blog, I recommend everybody go to James Fetzer's BitChute channel and look up the interviews that we've done on that, starting January 1st of this year.
So they've all been in the last few months, and we covered the subject very well with lots of really good reference material.
Now, to circle back on the Omnibus Bill that was passed, Senate clears $1.5 trillion Omnibus Bill.
This is at RollCar.com.
The vote was 68 to 31 to approve this monstrosity without ever reading it, but here's the stuff that didn't make it.
An amendment by Mike Lee, Republican of Utah, to overturn Joe Biden's vaccine or test mandates for private employers, health care workers, federal employees and military service members was rejected 49 to 50.
And an amendment to strip home state earmarks out of the measure was rejected 35 to 64.
So you can bet there's a bunch of rhinos that are in there voting for those earmarks.
And nobody stood up on the Democratic Party side and said, gee, you don't have to get tests or masks in order to be able to work in this country.
Absolute insanity that this is what we have for a government in this country.
If you want to muck up the United States, I can't imagine any administration doing more to achieve that objective in the shortest possible time.
I'm curious to know when they write these thousands of pages and how far in advance.
Again, in regards to you referenced Wag the Dog, I interviewed Helen of Destroy.
This week, who I invited her on, and then I realized, oh, I have a Russian propagandist that I'm interviewing.
How apropos, that's a joke, by the way.
However, she was writing for RT in the Senate hearing yesterday, which was discussing energy, which is also what this Ukraine-Russia issue is about.
They basically said that there's a war on energy, and then they dovetailed into Climate change saying quote climate change is real.
So this bleeds into what's happening in the Ukraine is really in regards to oil wars and Helen actually told me watch wag the dog.
This is more.
It's very appropriate to what we're seeing right now in the Senate hearing.
They said that Russia Times.
Sorry, Russia Today is a propaganda tool of the Russian government.
Which is absurd.
RT, Sputnik News are two of the most responsible international news services, along with Press TV from Iran.
They are the ones who are reporting the truth.
Meanwhile, reader-supported news, RSN, which is a far-left website which is having trouble getting funding, is showing how the Democrats want to use all of this to transition to their Green New Deal.
Russian invasion shows risks of addiction to fossil fuel Biden fund ship to renewables from democracy now.
This is pretty revolting.
Global oil and gas prices are skyrocketing as the U.S.
bans Russian energy imports as part of its sanctions.
In retaliation, Russia threatened to cut off natural gas to Europe.
We speak to energy and climate investigative reporter Antonia Juarez, author of The Tyranny of Oil, the world's most powerful industry, about growing calls for a green energy revolution.
This is a Rush transcript.
Amy Goodman.
I'm Amy Goodman in New York, joined by Democracy Now!
co-host Juan González.
Amy, welcome to all of our listeners.
Amy, as Russia's invasion enters its 14th day, we begin today's show looking at the war's impact on global energy markets.
Putin announced a ban on imports of Russian gas and oil and coal.
Britain followed by phase-out imports of Russian oil.
The European Union has announced plans to reduce its dependence on Russian oil and gas by two-thirds.
Given Russia's key role in the global energy supply, however, the global economy could soon be faced with one of the largest NSC supply shots ever, it has been observed.
In recent days, a Biden admin has begun exploring other ways to increase global oil supply, traveling to Venezuela, also floating the idea of visiting Saudi Arabia while they're pushing more oil drilling.
But they banned it.
Climate activists say now is the time to invest in the green energy revolution.
Democrat Senator Ed Malarkey—ought to be Malarkey, not Markey—said this moment is a clarion call for the urgent need to transition to domestic clean energy so we are never again complicit in fossil fuel conflict.
Frankly, I don't see any fossil fuel aspect To the intervention in Ukraine, which has to do with bio-lobs and neo-Nazis in control of the government and constant shelling of the Russian-speaking population of eastern Ukraine.
So far as I can see, it has nothing to do with gas and oil.
We now turn to Antonia Lara's investigative journalist with her book, The Tyranny of Oil, who teaches at Tulane.
She claims, it's extremely significant, Amy, thank you for having me.
The U.S.
must transition to clean air, and that will mean tyrants, like Putin, won't be able to use fossil fuels as weapons against other nations.
But I see no evidence whatsoever that Putin is using fossil fuels as weapons.
He didn't limit to Putin.
And said the U.S.
was going to now see the wielding of fossil fuels as weapons of war.
By staying, the U.S.
would end any oil, liquefied natural gas, and coal imports.
The U.S.
is the first nation to take a full step against Putin and to say that peace in Ukraine is dependent on the shifting off of fossil fuels, ending Russia's ability to wield fossil fuels as a weapon of war.
This looks like a complete straw man.
I don't see any foundation for this.
Antonio asks, Juan, the Biden admin is looking to reorient its supplies and obviously world supplies discussing with Venezuela.
There's even impetus to reach a deal with Iran and get Saudi Arabia and some of the gold states to increase their supplies.
Both leaders of the Emirates and of Saudi Arabia declined to have phone calls with Biden.
According to press reports.
So is it really a shifting more toward renewable energy or is it the issue having to reorient the supply routes in terms of oil?
Antonio, there's a short and a long term.
I think it's really important that price spikes we've seen immediately in the aftermath is not about a shortage of supply of any natural resource at this point of oil or gas.
It is energy traders trading on the expectation of a reduction in supply and pushing the price of oil up.
The price of oil going up has immediately impacted the price of gasoline.
If we regulated energy traders, these are stock market people, behavior, we could address that problem right now.
But the reality is the expectation there will be a reduction in Russian oil, of Russian natural gas, is what is affecting the decision, the flow in the markets.
So in the short term, Biden did orchestrate a fairly profound shift.
The International Energy Agency acting to coordinate its members led by the U.S.
to increase oil supply by 60 million barrels, which, however, we know is a drop in the bucket.
That was a direct rebuff against OPEC's unwillingness to do so.
This is because Saudi Arabia is aligned with Russia and trying to protect Russian interests.
Not surprising to me that Saudis are not taking Biden's call.
I don't think that's going to happen.
In the short term, there's a desire to demonstrate there will be more oil, and that should hopefully reduce the stress put on the market now by the traders.
But I do think we need to hold the administration and the rest of global leaders to their pledges, which is a transition away from fossil fuels.
Every member who has spoken has reiterated that they need to be held.
If anything, the war has shown how insecure we are based upon fossil fuel dependence.
The U.S.
is the leading guzzler, by far, of gasoline.
The price of gas has, over a political election, people's pocketbook and everything in between is an incredible weakness.
But, of course, if we change to electric cars and such, none of that would change.
We'd be worse off by far.
The dependence of Eurobond, and I call it methane gas, not natural gas, because natural is about 93% methane, has put it into this position.
It's having an almost impossible time divorcing itself from butane's power.
Unable to do that means there isn't a stand to be able to take against wielding a war against Ukraine.
That incredible weakness is created by that dependence on methane gas, and the idea that methane should be considered a quote-unquote bridge fuel from fossil fuels to renewable energy has been exposed here.
We need to look at the actions of the oil companies BP, Shell, even Exxon, who've been unwinding and divesting their partnership with Russia, and public statements where they claim they're doing this for humanitarian reasons.
They don't want to put their money behind mutinies about this war.
That sentiment, the same as Biden's, needs to be applied and taught to all their partnerships with all the other countries.
Saudi Arabia is a key example in this brutal war on Yemen.
Some of the same oil companies that partner with Russia and Putin partner with the Saudis and are in deep partnerships with the Saudis.
We need to expand.
How can we unplug this power, this influence?
Joe, this is just so much unadulterated bullshit.
I can hardly believe your thoughts.
Yeah, there is absolutely no such thing as a greenhouse warming gas.
The worst absolute scientific fraud up until the bioweapons thing that they just released on us with the WuFlu thing.
As far as methane, it comes out of the ground absolutely everywhere.
It's got a specific gravity of 0.43.
It's lighter than air.
You can fill a balloon with it.
It'll rise up in the atmosphere.
If we're not capturing it and using it, it's in the atmosphere as a damaging gas, but it's not a warming gas.
It's just another gas that's not any helpful, and it can be recovered as it's coming out of the ground and successfully used.
But something else is that, you know, Kerry said that this war in Ukraine was releasing a whole bunch of hydrocarbons because they were blowing stuff up and that was... shouldn't be using petroleum vehicles and Kerry said that this war in Ukraine was releasing a whole bunch of hydrocarbons because So maybe he's got a partnership with ISIS.
Yeah, because if you go to Veterans Today, nukes for ISIS?
Yeah, they're trying to hide the records of the Kharkov Research Center under Zelensky, which has been shipping nuclear material to ISIS.
Between 2015 and 2017, they sent five shipments of nuclear material capable of fueling a dirty bomb to ISIS.
They were... three of the shipments were intercepted in Turkey and our government's known about it and they didn't doodly squat about him.
And Zelensky said that he's going to pull out of the nuclear treaty so maybe he can make some atomic bombs to bomb Russia so that, you know, that way they can take another oil producer off of the planet.
What level of insanity are you going to start waking up and calling these people out and stop believing their lies?
They're...
It's all horrible.
It's bizarre beyond belief.
Mariam, your thoughts?
How many people in Congress and in the Senate have stocks in the oil companies while crying about fossil fuels?
They did a segment on the news interviewing rando people, or supposed rando people, saying that Would they pay up to $7 a gallon for the Ukrainian people?
And of course, they said yes.
So again, the Senate hearing was a war on energy.
Yesterday was a two and a half, I believe, hour hearing, and they were talking about climate change and using the issues in Russia and the Ukraine to dovetail into their interests.
So Will we see us getting off of depending on oil in Russia?
Well, Dave Hodge has been emphasizing when gasoline gets up to $8, $9, or $10 a gallon, the American economy collapses.
It costs you more to get to work than you're earning.
It's just a lose-lose situation.
Yes.
Did you have a further comment, Miriam?
Yeah.
I made a good choice in investing in an electric bike before this started a couple weeks ago with the traffic where I am and the price of gas.
I'm better off exercising while using electricity.
And yet we know, and Joe's been explaining in our climate change series, it consumes more energy to produce the electricity that is saved, so it's a lose-lose.
On a small scale such as you are, it's beneficial, but on a larger scale, catastrophic.
Meanwhile, iconic American brands have joined the huge list of companies that have ceased Russian operations.
McDonald's and Starbucks are closing their restaurants.
Coke will also close its operations.
Our hearts are with the people who are enduring an unconscionable effect from these tragic events in Ukraine, they claim.
I wonder if they're going to change their opinion when they learn about the biolabs.
Visa, MasterCard, PayPal joined the massive number of companies leaving Russia.
It may be difficult to fly out of Russia as both Boeing and Airbus say they're suspending parts and maintenance.
American Airlines says they're avoiding Russian airspace.
BP and Shell are shutting out Russia.
Exxon said it would cease operations.
Meanwhile, Texas Independent tweets, how many Chinese companies are moving in to fill the void?
Our woke companies are agreeing by leaving Russia.
We are only giving China more influence, not taking away Russia's.
He's got it exactly right.
The world had other opportunities to show moral outrage by curbing business practices and chose not to.
The world has been made aware of the horrible human rights violations in China by the Uighur Muslim population and the suppression of the Chinese people through censorship.
Why was there not a demand for a boycott of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing?
Why has the world not been outraged by the atrocious human rights record of the Chinese?
The answer could be in the old rule of thumb, follow the money.
Companies like Nike and Apple make enormous profits from their ties to China.
China is Apple's third largest market behind the U.S.
and Europe, accounting for 20 percent of its revenue.
Nike expects to top $11 billion of Chinese revenue.
So all of a sudden, concern for corporations?
Is it all a show?
Cynics would say yes, though you won't get the companies to admit it.
Here's Kay Braxton tweeting, All these companies boycotting Russia, but not one is being asked to leave China, who has a million people in concentration camps as we speak.
Why?
Don't hashtag Boy Scott McDonald's or any company unless they address the real issues.
Meanwhile, talk about McDonald's closing in Russia.
Seattle's landmark downtown McDonald's has closed its doors over safety concerns emerged surging crime.
This is in Seattle.
Seattle's surging crime problem has led to the flagship downtown McDonald's to close its doors.
They shut down without notice after a particularly violent weekend.
The owner-operator, David Santilli, has issued a press statement.
His top priority is the health and safety of his employees and customers.
The store has been temporarily closed out of concern.
He supports local police as they investigate ongoing violence in the neighborhood, says the restaurant will reopen when it is safe to do so.
Here's his statement.
My top priority is the health and safety of our employees and customers.
Out of concern for the safety of our employees and customers, we temporarily closed our restaurant at 1530 3rd Avenue following last week's shooting.
The closure came a day after a local bakery, Poroshki, located a few blocks away, closed over safety concerns.
Owner Olga Sagan told reporters she'd been patiently communicating with the city for six months, but things are only getting worse.
She feels Seattle is abandoned downtown and is not treating the situation seriously.
Her customers have been repeatedly threatened and others have been exposing themselves to her employees.
The McDonald's closing followed a shooting near the restaurant on February 27th, when police and fire department medics responded to find a deceased victim on the scene.
In recent years, the restaurant near the restaurant has become notorious for open drug sales and using stolen merchandise and uncontrolled littering and disposal of drug needles.
The fatal shooting was a six.
The Seattle police have responded to this year.
A man was shot in the face at the same intersection last week.
Seattle, controlled by Democrats, of course, continues to see hundreds of businesses closing and leaving the city because of the city government's inability or unwillingness to address a problem of violent crime.
Meanwhile, The City Police Department has seen so many officers leave the force.
It's increasingly challenging to maintain minimal staffing requirements.
Joe, this is all a direct result of Democrat policies, not only in Seattle, in Portland, Oregon, in Los Angeles, in New York City.
They are destroying the United States.
Law enforcement is meaningless.
They're defunding.
The police has had catastrophic consequences.
Your thoughts?
So, Washington State was the first state in the nation to pass the Motor Voter Law in 1990.
And that's where you can just, you know, if you got a driver's license, you're allowed to vote.
So, you know, no other issues involved.
And then in 2002, they got blanket primaries, where the top two candidates that run for an office Uh, if there's a less than a majority, then they have a runoff between themselves.
Same situation got in California.
So unless you can get more than 33 percent of the vote, a conservative cannot possibly even be involved in the runoff.
And then you end up with two parties running in the primary.
And then they also end up running the general election, a Democrat against the Democrats.
So you end up having no way to vote yourself out of this monstrous situation.
As far as Biden's plan about going and trying to suck some oil out of Venezuela or Iran or wherever else he can find it that's non-aligned at this point.
Uh, guess what?
Uh, petroleum is constantly being produced, and then the wells that get to a certain, uh, point where they are no longer economical to operate, uh, at the current gas price, which when it was $40, $50 a barrel, there was a lot of wells in the United States that were capped.
Well, suddenly, when you got $130 a barrel oil, it's like, hey, we can uncap this well and start that pump back up.
Montana takes matters into its own hands, restores Dormant oil wells under Biden's gas explosion.
This is at Western Journal.
I can send it to you if you want to talk about this a little bit on Monday.
I've got the story, Joe.
It'll be in Monday.
Miriam.
And let me add, by the way, this voter-voter, the reason it's so catastrophic is that illegals are allowed to obtain driver's license and therefore are certified to vote, even though they're non-citizens.
That's why this is so catastrophic.
In California, elsewhere, millions of illegals are voting because of the voter-voter law.
Miriam.
When I voted in San Francisco, I wore a mask and I had, well, it wasn't a face diaper.
It was like a shield from the future and went to the voting and no one asked me for any ID.
I could have been anyone.
I was so disgusted.
This week for me, the theme has been from Rona to Russia with love.
That's what I What the theme has been.
I wanted to share.
And when you're, you brought up Amy Goodman, many years ago, I was at Harbin Hot Springs, which is a nudists spring.
And I was sitting next to a naked woman and she started speaking and I'm like, are you Amy Goodman?
So it was funny because she was naked, but I recognize her from her voice.
In regards to all these corporations cancelling people, again, this is like a new level of cancel culture to show how they can exude their power and really towards innocent people.
I don't know if you're familiar with the company Upwork, but they also early in the week cancelled doing business with Russia and Belarus.
So.
Well, I'm glad it was you and not me sitting naked beside Amy Goodman, I gotta say.
Oh, wow.
What a great story, Miriam.
Meanwhile... Yeah, Joe?
And not a vigil I wanted to see.
You got it.
Meanwhile, the judge has sentenced Jussie Smollett Convicted hate crime hoaxer was sentenced Thursday after a jury found him guilty of orchestrating an attack against himself and making false police reports in an apparent attempt to gin up publicity and sympathy.
Actually, this was orchestrated to benefit Kamala Harris, who had an anti-lynching bill in the Senate that was languishing.
Co-sponsored with Cory Booker.
She needed a political event to try to rouse public support for her bill.
And when this occurred, she and others immediately began denouncing it as a modern-day lynching to justify her bill.
This is a person of no substance whatsoever, 100% vacuous.
Judge James Lynn sentenced Smollett to 150 days in jail and 30 months of probation, $120,000 in restitution, and a $25,000 fine.
He had faced a max of three years in prison.
Convicted in December on five of six counts of felony disorderly conduct applied to filing fake police reports under Illinois law.
He still was insisting, in spite of a mountain of evidence, I am innocent, and I am not suicidal, he said after receiving his sentence.
If I did this, then it means I struck—stuck my fist in the fears of the black Americans in this country for over 400 years and the fears of the LGBT community.
Which I do not even understand what he means.
Your Honor, I respect you, I respect the jury, but I did not do this when he obviously did do it.
I'm not suicidal.
If anything happens to me when I go in there, I did not do it to myself.
Before sentencing, defense attorney Tina Glendon argued Small's case should have been dismissed because of errors made by the court.
Special Prosecutor Sean Weber dismissed those claims, accusing Smollett and his lawyers of pinning the blame for his conviction on everyone but themselves.
Smollett reportedly showed up late for his sentencing with his bodyguards manhandling reporters outside the building.
He claimed he'd been attacked in the dead of night by two men shouting racist and anti-gay slurs.
He alleged they wrapped a noose around his neck and doused him in bleach.
Well, this was the coldest night of the year.
Bleach is mostly water.
Bleach bottle would have been frozen solid.
He kept the noose around his neck.
Not only that, but those who attacked him were two Nigerian bodybuilders, one of whom is Jussie Small's personal trainer, the other whom is an extra on the set of Empire, where he is an actor.
We have video footage of them obtaining The rope and the bleach at a hardware store.
They went, state's evidence admitted what had happened.
Jussie's paid him with a $3,500 personal check.
He's a form of narcissist that knows no bounds.
Absolutely incredible.
Here he is with Kamala, whom I believe is his aunt.
This was a political stunt, and I'm just very glad to say it has backfired massively.
Joe, your thoughts.
Yeah, well, he might not commit suicide in jail, but we already know that he knows how to tie a noose.
We already know that he knows how to put one around his neck, and we already know that he knows how to lynch himself, at least metaphorically.
So, all he's got to do now is find somebody in jail that he can put a MAGA hat on, and then he can claim that guy killed him.
So, you know, I have no sympathy for this clown at all.
He's a horrible human being.
Oh, I couldn't agree more.
I didn't follow this case.
Is someone behind him?
He plotted this, what, for attention on his own?
I said Kamala Harris had an anti-lynching bill in the Senate that was languishing.
She wanted a stunt.
Jussie, I'm convinced, is her nephew.
He pulled a stunt to promote her anti-lynching bill that no one thought was necessary.
She and other Democrats immediately began denouncing this event as a modern-day lynching.
It was a contrived political event like Sandy Hook, Boston bombing, Orlando and Dallas, Charlottesville.
They faked these events to promote the Democrat agenda.
Miriam, it's just... In addition to that...
In addition to that, he's an actor in a mediocre TV series and they were fixing to write him out and he wanted to get a raise and they said, nah, you're not worth what we're paying you right now.
I don't think you'll be here next season.
So he goes out and lynches himself so he can get a whole bunch of sympathy and attract attention to the show so that maybe we'll get more black viewers.
Who knows what's going through this mental midget's mind, but it ain't anything that we need to concentrate on because it's dumb, dumb, dumb.
I agree.
I agree.
They fired him from the show.
Yeah, go ahead, Mariam.
But it is interesting.
That's why I want to see who's behind it.
Two things.
You had mentioned policing.
I believe not only defunding the police, but they are eradicating the police force because we're going to be replaced with this minority report AI.
And to share with the audience that In October of 2021, after George Floyd, the subsequent 12 months, states enacted more police accountability legislation than ever before.
Trends emerged that ranged from training and certification requirements to oversight.
And use of force regulation.
So I'm just mentioning this because this Hegelian world that we live in, nobody's paying attention to some of these cases, what they are really, um, whether George Floyd, what is, what is really the consequence of that, which is eradicating the constitution eroding the, the fabric of this country.
And earlier this, this week, there was an article in, uh, Life site that talks talks about the National Defense Authorization Act and implied authority.
So basically there's there's acts in the government that say that they can they can carry out fake pandemics a hoax in or an exercise.
With, of course, always national security and public health in mind.
So very few people know about this, but I found an actual code, an act that is training and exercises.
And I bring this up because after covering this federal trial of the three officers, which were found guilty for willfully failing to intervene, that Here we have an act in US code that allows for fake, fake events.
Where again did you find that?
Yeah, this is if I can just give me a second to Well, the LifeSite article is called, Federal Law Past Weeks Before COVID Emerged Raises New Questions About Pandemic.
There was a 2019 law ordered an assessment of possible transnational pandemic weeks before COVID reported.
In that, I found the act, just give me a second.
Because this is real and it's huge, in my opinion.
Give me, we can, here, found it.
Okay, so it's six U.S. countries.
Code 748 training and exercises.
And it goes through that basically the government, academic institutions, private organizations, and other entities can provide state-of-the-art training for emergency managers or emergency response
And it's always under the guise of national security or health, and it says to be as realistic as practicable, based on current risk assessments including credible and emerging threats vulnerabilities and consequences and designed to stress the national preparedness system.
If I was covering the trial and I already thought it was a false flag, but they're deconstructing the police manual, they're enacting bills to change the face of policing, and then I come across an actual code that basically says we can carry out fake events.
I mean, that really adds a lot of steam to what you've discovered about Sandy Hook, what I've discovered about George Floyd, the myriad other false flags, this fake pandemic.
Yep.
Please send me a link.
That's very telling.

Meanwhile, final thoughts.
Joe, yours.
Yes, I'm doing another program with an electrical engineer that has a PhD and 10 patents with TNT Radio on Saturday night, and we're discussing 5G, and I came across an article.
DNA is a fractal antenna in electromagnetic fields.
This was published in 2015.
It's at PubMed.
I'll put a link in the notes, but it'll also be up at Principia Scientific.
I just want to read the conclusion to this.
The wide frequency range of interactions with EMF is functional characteristic of a fractal antenna, and DNA appears to possess two structural characteristics of fractal antennas, electrical conduction and self-symmetry.
These properties contribute to the greater reactivity of DNA in EMF environments, which is important for You know, 5G, if you're going to be frying your little kids at the elementary school, and DNA damage could account for increases in cancer epidemiology, as well as variations in the rate of chemical evolution in early geologic history.
So, it could be that we're receiving EMF signals from the greater universe that are helping direct life on this planet, and now we've got somebody that wants to hijack that, and that's why they're putting little antennas in Self-assembling antennas in the vaccines so that they can intercept signals and make sure you don't get signals from a higher outside resonant frequency, and that explains a whole lot about evolution.
We'll talk about that more on Monday with Carl.
Joe, that's a fascinating discovery.
Miriam, you're our final one.
I'd love to say a few things to that, Joe.
I started looking at CincoGeo, which is what I call it because I was Being threatened to be cancelled in 2018 because I happen to live in Beachwood on a test street with AT&T and felt the repercussions of these EMF and I've been doing a deep dive on the
Self-assembling, basically the graphene brought to us, the live sensors brought to us by Charles Lieber are there to be able to conduct and connect with the Internet of Bodies, the Internet of Things.
And we are electricity and water.
And so, of course, there's interference.
Where I'm staying now, I learned from two people, you can call the company, the electric company, and have them remove it.
And that you have to pay almost $100 to have it removed.
So my neighbor waited an entire year and then she had to call and say that she sent a letter of liability.
So they were telling me, oh, we don't know when we're going to come in about a month.
And I called and I said, you know, in the world I live in, we have a calendar, you're going to come at this hour.
And so I called them again, third time, and I said, OK, can you give me the address for I need to send a letter of liability?
Guess what?
That was Monday.
They came Tuesday and they removed the meter when I said I'm going to send.
And to be honest, I was surprised that anyone does anything with integrity Or to keep their word and is actually scared of doing something wrong.
But I wanted to share that and also just invite people to check me out on my Rockfin channel.
I was interviewed by Mel K recently about George Floyd.
And as I shared, I interviewed Helen of Destroy.
I also interviewed, I'm all over the place.
I interviewed the Great Plains Laboratory that does testing when it comes to mold and organic acids.
And I'm going to be interviewing Kathy O'Brien.
That recently put out with Adrian a movie, a beautiful movie called Trance that has to do with MKUltra.
So please come check out The Bee Lady.
And I want to just say thank you again to both of you that it's an honor to be able to read the news and hopefully I contribute and educate your audience.
Oh, you're doing a great job, Miriam.
You and Joe are just horrific.
We have one more litmus test, by the way, of the mainstream.
This story about the biolabs in Ukraine is huge.
It's been simmering all week.
But in the Wisconsin State Journal, not a word about it.
I poured through the paper, not a single word about it.
We are being lied to by omission.
Anything they don't want us to know, they are censoring, suppressing.
They won't breathe a word about it.
Less you become alarmed about the grave state of the nation.
Biden, Harris, and the other miscreants here are destroying America before our very eyes.
Pay attention.
Don't let yourself be played.
Meanwhile, spend as much time as you can with your friends and loved ones, because we do not know how much time we have left.
