This is Jim Fetzer on Need to Know, where I'm very glad to be joined today by Joe Olson in Houston and Miriam Hennane from Florida.
We're bringing you all the news you need to know, including, we begin with, what I regard as an historic speech by Vladimir Putin, the existence of which, even though it was presented on the 24th of February, I only learned this morning.
Well, my colleague Michael Ivey wrote to me as follows.
Before this morning, I'd not heard or read this speech from Putin given on February 24th.
I'd seen another given to the Russian people on Feb.
21st and thought that was the one people were talking about, but I was wrong.
This is the one everyone's saying contains so many truth bombs.

I'm going to highlight some passages.
It is a fact that over the past 30 years we've been patiently trying to come to an agreement with the leading NATO countries regarding the principles of equal and indivisible security in Europe.
In response to our proposals, we invariably faced either cynical deception or lies, or attempts at pressure and blackmail, while the North Atlantic Alliance continued to expand despite our protests and concerns.
Its military machine is moving and, as I said, is approaching our very border.
Why is this happening?
Where did this insolent manner of talking down from the height of their exceptionalism, infallibility, and all permissiveness come from?
What is the explanation for this contemptuous and disdainful attitude to our interests and absolutely legitimate demands?
The answer is simple.
Everything is clear and obvious.
In the late 1980s, the Soviet Union grew weaker and subsequently broke apart.
That experience should serve as a good lesson for us, because it has shown us that the paralysis of power and will is the first step toward complete degradation and oblivion.
We lost confidence for only one moment, but it was enough to disrupt the balance of forces in the world.
As a result, the old treaties and agreements are no longer effective.
Entreaties and requests do not help.
Everything that does not suit the dominant state of powers that be is denounced as archaic, obsolete, and useless.
At the same time, everything it regards as useful is presented as the ultimate truth and forced on others, regardless of the cost, abusively and by any means available.
Those who refuse to comply are subjected to strong-arm tactics.
Of course, practice, international relations, and the rules regulating them had to be taken into account, take into account the changes that took place in the world and in the balance of forces.
However, this should have been done professionally, smoothly, patiently, and with due regard and respect to the interests of all states and one's own responsibility.
Instead, we saw a state of euphoria created by the feeling of absolute superiority, a kind of modern absolutism coupled with the low cultural standards and arrogance of those who formulated and pushed through decisions that suited only themselves.
The situation took a different turn.
There are many examples of this.
First, a bloody military operation was waged against Belgrade without the UN Security Council's sanction, but with combat aircraft and missiles used in the heart of Europe.
The bombing of peaceful cities and vital infrastructure went on for several weeks.
I have to recall these facts because some Western colleagues prefer to forget them, and when we mention the event, they prefer to avoid speaking about international law, instead emphasizing the circumstances which they interpret as they think necessary.
Then came the turn of Iraq, Libya, and Syria.
The illegal use of military power against Libya and the distortion of all the UN Security Council decisions on Libya ruined the state.
Created a huge seat of international terrorism and pushed the country toward a humanitarian catastrophe into the vortex of a civil war, which has continued there for years.
The tragedy, which was created for hundreds of thousands and even millions of people, not only in Libya, but in the whole region, has led to a large-scale exodus from the Middle East and North Africa to Europe.
But the example that stands apart from the above events is, of course, the invasion of Iraq without any legal grounds.
They use a pretext of allegedly reliable information available in the United States about the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
To prove that allegation, the U.S.
Secretary of State held up a viral white powder publicly for the whole world to see, assuring the international community that it was a chemical warfare agent created in Iraq.
It later turned out that all of that was a fake and a sham, and that Iraq did not have any chemical weapons.
Incredible and shocking, but true.
We witness lies made at the highest state level and voiced from the high UN rostrum.
As a result, we see a tremendous loss in human life, damage, destruction, and a colossal upsurge of terrorism.
Overall, It appears that nearly everywhere in many regions of the world where the United States brought its law and order, this created bloody non-healing wounds and the curse of international terrorism and extremism.
I've only mentioned the most glaring but far from only examples of disregard for international law.
This array includes promises not to expand NATO eastward even by an inch.
To reiterate, they have deceived us, or to put it simply, they have played us.
Sure, one often hears that politics is a dirty business.
It could be, but it shouldn't be as dirty as it is now, not to such an extent.
This type of con artist behavior is contrary not only to the principles of international relation, but also, and above all, to the generally accepted norms of morality and ethics.
Where is justice and truth here?
Just lies and hypocrisy all around.
Incidentally, U.S.
politicians, political scientists, and journalists write and say that a veritable empire of lies has been created inside the United States in recent years.
It is hard to disagree with this.
It is really so.
But one should not be modest about it.
The United States is still a great country and a system-forming power.
All its satellites not only humbly and obediently say yes to and parrot it at the slightest pretext, but also imitate its behavior and enthusiastically accept the rules it is offering them.
Therefore, one can say with good reason and confidence that the whole so-called Western Bloc formed by the United States in its own image and likeness is, in its entirety, a very same empire of lies.
As for our country, after the disintegration of the USSR, given the entire unprecedented openness of the new modern Russia, its readiness to work honestly with the United States and other Western partners, and its practically unilateral disarmament, they immediately tried to put the final squeeze on us, finish us off, and utterly destroy us.
This is how it was in the 1990s and the early 2000s when the so-called collective West was actively supporting separatism and gangs of mercenaries in southern Russia.
What victims, what losses we had to sustain and what trials we had to go through at that time before we broke the back of international terrorism in the Caucasus.
We remember this and we'll never forget.
Properly speaking, the attempts to use us in their own interest never ceased until quite recently.
They sought to destroy our traditional values and force us on their false values that would erode us, our people, from within the attitudes they've been aggressively imposing on their countries, attitudes that are directly leading to degradation and degeneration because they are contrary to human nature.
This is not going to Even now, with NATO's eastward expansion, the situation for Russia has become worse and more dangerous by the year.
Moreover, these past days, NATO leadership has been blunt in its statements that they need to accelerate and step up efforts to bring the Alliance's infrastructure closer to Russia's borders.
In other words, They have been toughening their position.
We cannot stay idle and passively observe these developments.
This would be an absolutely irresponsible thing to do for us.
Any further expansion of the North Atlantic Alliance's infrastructure or the ongoing efforts to gain a military foothold of the Ukrainian territory are unacceptable for us.
Of course, the question is not about NATO itself.
It merely serves as a tool of U.S.
foreign policy.
The problem is that in territories adjacent to Russia, which I have to note is our historical land, a hostile anti-Russia is taking shape.
Fully controlled from the outside, it's doing everything to attract NATO armed forces and obtain cutting-edge weapons.
For the United States and its allies, it is a policy of containing Russia with obvious geopolitical dividends.
For our country, it's a matter of life and death, a matter of our historical future as a nation.
This is not an exaggeration.
This is a fact.
It is not only a very real threat to our interests, but to the very existence of our state and to our sovereignty.
It is the red line which we have spoken about on numerous occasions.
They have crossed it.
And what has been the response?
U.S.
sent Stinger missiles to Ukraine to shoot down Russian helicopters?
Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State, tweeted he's authorized DoD to provide an additional $300 million in immediate assistance to Ukraine to help defend itself from Russia's unprovoked and unjustified war.
According to Army Times, direct delivery of Stinger missiles as part of a military package improved last week.
Once the Stinger is employed, it has the ability to be a game changer, said retired Army Lieutenant General Jim Dublik.
The Russians don't have air dominance, but they do have air superiority.
The Stingers will take it away, but it'll be a contested airspace, which hurts Russia's ability to conduct operations and increases Ukraine's ability to defend.
In addition, the German Chancellor said Saturday his country plans to send 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stingers, a major shift in policy for Germany, which has previously declined to send lethal aid.
Along with Germany, other European countries, Norway, Sweden, Finland have also agreed to send Ukraine weapons.
Despite the aid to Ukraine, it may be as far as the U.S.
is willing to go to not provoke Russia in ways the U.S.
would like to avoid, particularly given President Putin's announcement of putting nuclear deterrence on a combat level status.
But top officials in Ukraine have still called on the U.S.
to provide more sophisticated weapons, such as advanced, like that of the Patriot, anti-aircraft missiles.
In 2014, Russia annexed Crimea.
Since then, the U.S.
has poured billions in military assistance to Ukraine.
Javelin anti-tank missiles, night vision goggles, small arms, ammo patrol boats, even military training.
During the Obama administration, the U.S.
was reluctant to provide lethal aid amid concern of escalating conflict with Russia.
That policy changed under Trump and has remained in place.
During the Soviets' war with Afghanistan in the 1980s, stingers provided by the U.S.
were used by the Mujahideen, freedom fighters or holy warriors, To put a dent in Soviet air control.
They withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989.
Jack Devine, who took over the CIA's Afghan task force in the mid-1980s, called it one of the CIA's finest moments.
In 1994, however, the Mujahideen would form the Taliban, indicating that the CIA ran into difficulties recovering the Stingers, recouping only a fraction of those provided.

Yeah, well, Yeah, well, NATO never had a war until 1999 when Slick Willy drug them into Serbia and they blew up thousand-year-old bridges on the Danube River.
Yeah, that was real nice.

And then they got sucked into Afghanistan after 9-1-1 false flag.
And then they got sucked into Libya where they dropped of 60,000 bombs.
They killed 250,000 Libyans.
They blew up every hospital, every school, every power generation plant, and the largest irrigation system in the history of the world, which went from the southern Sahara all the way up to the Mediterranean coast and turned Tripoli into an absolute Yeah, that's what NATO did there.
And now I saw a video, and I'll put a link to it, a woman that was documenting war crimes.
They had over 13,000 people in the Russian-speaking eastern section of Dumas and Crimea that have been killed by the Western Ukrainian Nazis that are run out of the Soros operations.
And another interesting thing, Let's see.
RT had a video on human organ trafficking, and rather than put that video up, I'll just refer you to the written article on it.

In the video, they had an interview with a woman who found out that Her father had donated his eyeballs after he died, because your eye tissue is pretty resilient.
It doesn't die as quickly as the rest of the body, so it can be kept alive for a couple of days with just putting it on ice, and so what they do is they harvest people's eyeballs, and then they send them over to places where they remove the cornea for cornea implants, and there's also a huge
Stem cell organ harvesting among fetuses and I was also aware that they've just sequestered all of the women who have agreed to be surrogate mothers and been paid by other people to produce offspring and that the government of Ukraine is going to seize all of those babies and who knows what's going to happen to them.
This is a ruthless Joe, that was a superb statement.

Why are they showing us footage that doesn't seem to be accurate?
And if you don't know any better, what are you led to believe in regards to the Ukraine versus Russia?

When he married and purchased his own home, his parents moved back to Ukraine.
I met him earlier tonight.
He wasn't to talk about Ukraine or politics, just old friends catching up.
First thing I said is, are your parents okay?
He said they're fine and laughed, told me to stop watching CNN.
Those Ukrainians are dancing in the streets, hoping Russia cleans up our corrupt government.
And I believe him 100%.
Almost everything we see from Ukraine is mainstream media using fake news, fake footage, six-year-old video, fake ghost of Ukraine stories.

And I'll swear this on me and my family's lives, what he told me was true.

Cruz told host Sean Hannity, you know, tonight was the 10th State of the Union.
I've been on the floor of the House to hear from a third different president.
This is the most out of touch I have ever heard.
Biden went through a litany of acknowledging some of the problems we face in this country, but utterly denying any responsibility, any culpability.
He acknowledged gallantly inflation, but didn't say a word about the trillions in spending and trillions of debt he rammed through that caused that inflation.
He acknowledged gas prices are skyrocketing, but didn't say a word about the war on domestic energy production his administration led.
He acknowledged the need to secure our southern border, but didn't say a word about the failure of the administration to enforce the law, leading to the highest rate of illegal immigration in 61 years.
On Ukraine, he acknowledged Russia's invasion, but didn't say a word about the disastrous weakness from his administration, the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, or his decision to waive sanctions on Russia on Putin's Nord Stream 2 pipeline Which is what directly led to this invasion.
One of Biden's first acts was to shut down the Keystone Pipeline, and incredibly, the U.S.
still buys oil from Russia.
Just a month before the Russian invasion, Democrats actually rejected a bill by Cruz that would have sanctioned the Russian pipeline.
On every issue, he was like Sergeant Schultz from Hogan's Heroes, I see nothing, I hear nothing.
The Republican Senator noted Biden didn't bring up rising crime.
With him, that may be right, but he denied any and all culpability.
I'll tell you four words I didn't hear at all tonight.
I didn't hear crime.
He didn't acknowledge the crime rate that's soaring across the country, the murder rate soaring across the country because of the Democrats' push to abolish police.
Meanwhile, Biden is seeking $32.5 billion for Ukraine aid and COVID programs.
The Biden administration is asking for more to assist Ukraine.
A total of $10 million would go to help Ukraine deal with its humanitarian crisis.
Senate Republicans have indicated they may oppose new COVID spending until the administration accounts for previous.
They say Biden has yet to account for $1.9 trillion adopted last year.
Top White House officials have said there's enough funding to combat the diminishing Omicron surge.
However, they insist more money needed because the earlier funding has been spent or committed as specific purposes.
Another issue is overall funding, the size and scope of the omnibus or emergency aid.
On Feb 18, Biden signed a bipartisan bill extending government funding for three weeks for Congress to have more time to reach a final fiscal
Well, in the 50 State of the Union messages that I was actually conscious enough to at least participate a little bit in, the best one I've heard so far was by Marjorie Taylor Greene, just issued this week or two ago.
I'll put that In the show notes so that people can review her excellent summary of the current state of the nation, but also to get an alternative view to the narrative that's being forced upon us on Ukraine.

I was watching Tim Pool watching the State of the Union.
They were playing a game.
Let's catch how many times Joey fumbles and how many words he makes up and they're playing a drinking game and of course I was I was focused on Pelosi and this vacant look on her face that she tripped she clapped at a part where there was I don't know what she was clapping.

And also remarks on his State of the Union is that he said a lot of Trump-esque things.

How to properly intervene and supersede your superior.
And there's more legislation than ever before that people are not even aware of because of the George Floyd incident.

In typical fashion, another inexplicably bizarre story emerges of a deal clinched between the United States and its boogeyman, ISIS, in which Washington received massive amounts of stolen gold to provide safe passage for the group's members in Syria.
The deal gave the U.S.
tens of tons of gold the terror organization which we created had stolen, Sputnik reported, citing Syrian Arab News Agency.
The loot was put at 50 tons.
Some was Syrian gold, but much was Iraqi.
In return, the U.S.
forces provide safe passage to terrorists and the ringleaders.
This harkens back to another gold plight op said to have occurred in the Ukraine in 2014.
Soon after the crime syndicate-backed coup d'etat curved in Kiev, a convoy of four trucks and two cargo minibuses pulled up into the Kiev's airport in the wee hours.
A band of black ops loaded an aircraft with heavy boxes and the plane flew off.
Rumors emerged Ukraine's official gold reserve was hauled off to the U.S., but there was no official confirmation to the new kakistocracy government as to whether there was an op or where the gold had gone.
There was no official confirmation on the receiving end either.
Per usual, those who questioned the incident were marked as conspiracy theorists.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's currency collapsed.
The Central Bank reported 42.3 tons of gold in its vault.
Then suddenly, the head of the bank let it slip that the vaults are essentially empty.
Begging the question, did the Klakostroks of Ukraine make some kind of non-transparent deal with the Cabal psychopaths?
Or were the crime syndicate psychopathic kleptocrats just given access to vaults and permitted to loot the gold?
From following these stories, I've learned to expect the worst, so the latter is my theory.
I no longer think Ukraine's gold is in official hands anywhere.
According to one version, it was not just monetary gold removed, but objects of cultural and historic value.
Also called the Scythian gold.
That comes that familiar IMF looting mechanism.
Washington promised to help its Goldman Sachs puppet.
Yada Senko, the Yid, obtained an IMF loan, and the Scythian gold was used to fulfill the function of securing future credit.
The value of the stolen cultural object far exceeds the value of the gold that the objects are made of, as much as $20 million.
Without a doubt, someone in the crime syndicate was caught a great bargain.
Some 10 billion of Libyan government funds, frozen as part of sanctions against Gaddafi's inner circle, has mysteriously disappeared from a Belgian bank Back in November of 2013, four Euroclear bank accounts belonging to the Libyan Investment Authority and its subsidiary, Libyan Foreign Investment Company, contained some $16.1 billion in frozen assets.
However, when authorities tried to seize the funds in 2017, there was only $5 billion left.
Ukraine and its people have a severe Jewish kleptocrat and kakistocracy problem manifest on December 19th of 2016 when Ukrainians woke to learn the country's largest bank had just been nationalized after its two owners used depositors' money to build a business empire and distributed the money among Jewish organizations in Europe.
Coverage was virtually non-existent in the West.
Private bank used to be Ukraine's largest with 20% of the sector and $53 billion in assets.
The abuse and criminality involved is mind-boggling.
The bad loan share of their portfolio was assessed at 97%.
97% of their loans had gone to companies linked to its two owners and principal shareholders.
Surprisingly, the bank's main stakeholder, the second richest man in Ukraine, did not raise any objections.
Well known for his dealings, he's been accused of illegal confiscation of a majority stake in its Ukrainian subsidiary.
A criminal case against him was started in Russia in January 2016, where he's accused of organizing murders and the use of prohibited methods of warfare.
Russian President Putin has described him as a unique crook.
Kononinsky and Gady Bogalow are driving financial force within the European Jewish community, the former, the founding father of the European Jewish community.
In a similar pattern to Oxycontin, Opioid Kingpins, the slackers, Volgoboff can be seen in the clip below being fetid and bragged at the International Conference of Shulishim about his donations worth millions of euros to the Jewish community.
He even planned for more money from the audience.
Meanwhile, U.S.
forces in eastern Syria made gold for a safe package deal with Daesh.
This is a report from 2019.
The U.S.
military made another deal with Daesh involving dozens of tons of gold for safe passage for militants, confirming what we have previously reported.
According to estimates, the U.S.
has now transferred a total of 50 tons of the precious metal, worth about $2.13 billion, out of Syria.
Daesh, another name for ISIS, is thought to have accumulated the gold through its campaign of plunder and terror across Syria and Iraq in 2015 through 2017, the U.S.
using choppers to transport the Syrian gold.
Local residents and officials have made repeated accusations of the U.S.
tracking this gold out.
Damascus has repeatedly said the presence in Syria is illegal, called on Washington to withdraw its forces immediately.
But of course, we haven't done it.
We're going to do whatever benefits ourselves, it appears.
It's grotesque.
The history is just stunning and disgusting.

Yeah, well, 9-1-1, World Trade Center number six, had a billion dollars worth of gold bullion down in the basement.
And when the fire department went down there, the vault door was open.
There was tracks that showed that somebody had been loading it with a forklift into a dump truck.
And guess what, kids?
And then moments later, the building was vaporized.
And if you go to breathtaking solving nuclear 911 at Veterans Today and look at the thermographic pictures of it, building six looks like a rectangular volcano.
The whole core of the building is completely eaten out.

It wasn't hit by anything and it wasn't done with thermite and it wasn't done with jet fuel.
And then also Hillary Rodham Clinton managed to get the 143 tons of gold that they stole from Qaddafi out of Libya.
She took it over to uh Haiti where her brother was in charge of a mining company that never had more than a 60-foot Quote, test well three inch in diameter drilled in the ground.
They parked an assay ship off the coast and remelted all the gold with different numbers so that they could launder it that way and put it into their Swiss accounts.
Then we have the MH340 Indonesian airline that disappeared.
It had a cargo manifest insured for 400 million dollars.
Okay, Indonesia is like the eighth largest producer of gold, so maybe it was gold and it got stolen somehow.
Or maybe it was just tungsten that was gold-plated and was assayed and they kept the 400 million dollars worth of gold in a separate location and sacrificed the tungsten bars.

This is an attack on the CDC for dropping the mask mandates that were never appropriate, ineffective, doing only harm to those who wear them.

The Center for Disease Control has released new guidelines enabling 70% of Americans to forego wearing masks indoors and social distancing.
The Times and Post have reported the guidelines allow counties to independently calculate risk of the virus to their residents by considering hospitalization and case data rather than the number of cases alone.
Unvaccinated at any risk classification are still encouraged to wear them, but only recommended in schools and counties at high risk.
This news comes less than three weeks after the agency chief, Rochelle Walensky, warned against lifting mask mandates too soon.
But now the CDC has pivoted, saying it's shifting to prevent the most severe outcomes and minimize health care strains, instead of focusing on preventing cases.
CDC was sharply criticized last year when it lifted mask restrictions just before the Delta variant surge.
Disability advocates have decried the ship.

They did an interview with a guy named Robert Beatles, B-E-A-D-L-E-S, on the corruption in Reno and how they were able to throw 200,000 votes in Reno, and basically they can steer the whole state with just the corruption there, not counting the corruption that they knew they already had in Las Vegas.
So, absolutely stunning interview, and I'm hoping that it'll be included as part of the full-spectrum information that's given by True the Vote and 2,000 Mules.
Mariam, your final thoughts?
I am very much in support of freedom of speech and independent journalists such as Joe and Jim.
And I say to support Jim, it's a labor of love to do an investigation.
Real investigations take time.
They're not this TV versions that happen over a week and happen like fast food, like you're ordering A cheap hamburger.
And we need to support journalists who do the work and who put their necks out there.
There's no glory in the truth anymore.
We're living with so many lies.
And so if you find a journalist that you trust, then you know that they do their homework and discern between all the disinformation.
I also want to just share that the Senate voted 48 to 47 to cancel the BS COVID national state of emergency.
So all of a sudden, well, it's been two years.
We're now moving away from this narrative.
I'm sure it'll circle back like Jen.

Bill Maher's been doing a lot of good lately.
He's been speaking a lot of truths and making a lot of liberals who thought he was on their side, as it were, very uncomfortable.
The series to which Joe has alluded, debunking the climate change mythology, is on my Bitchute channel, Jim Fetzer.
Joe has been doing a sensational job of taking the whole business apart, beginning with the very first demonstrating that over 600 million years of the history of planet Earth, there's been no correlation whatsoever between the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and the temperature of Earth.
Lacking a correlation, there can be no causation, and yet they want to use climate change mythology to destroy the economy of the United States by getting rid of gas and oil for electricity Which is economically inefficient.
It consumes more energy to produce these electric car batteries than they can possibly save.
So the whole thing is a sham.
We're seeing the demise of the COVID pandemic narrative and the rise of the Biden—the Cute and Ukraine narrative and green energy that will be unrelenting up to the midterm, which nevertheless the Democrats are going to encounter as a devastating defeat.
Things are going to change.
