And you may have thought it tragic not to mention other adjectives to think of all the weeping they will do.

the COVID massively over a week ago. I had chills on Wednesday, again on Friday,
wrapped myself in blankets, wound up feeling so weak.
I couldn't even get out of bed, wound up being taken to the hospital twice.
Once my wife drove me the other time in an ambulance.
So I've been doing my best to cope with a little help from my friends.
Again, keeping me supplied with vitamin C, vitamin D, a host of other goodies that some of which I shall describe by and by, but where, you know, this is a very nasty business.
And while I believe that COVID is indeed actually a fake pandemic, I gotta say, this has hit me pretty hard.
Meanwhile, we have all the absurdities taking place in Afghanistan.
It took no time whatsoever.

Taliban begin home searches, public meetings, women scream for help outside airport gate, traitors beaten in the street as up to 40,000 Americans remain trapped in the country.
It's fascinating to recognize that Barack Obama warned us again and again that Joe Biden had an unlimited capacity to F things up.
And I believe we're seeing here a perfect illustration.
Are Dems surprised that Joe Biden has been such an embarrassing, across-the-board, abysmal failure?
They shouldn't be.
Obama himself tried to warn them.
Let's roll the calendar back almost exactly one year.
Back then, most states were still locked down with Zayas knees.
The failed Summer of Love in Seattle was looking to replicate itself elsewhere.
Calls to defund the police were deafening in BLM rallies.
Don Lamon was warning political agitators that burning down cities was helping the wrong team, and both parties had their nominees for the presidential campaign locked in for the final charge to November.
In the midst of establishment backers from various spheres of political to private influence, Fortifying the election and high-ranking military brass endorsing Joe Biden, one story in particular, slipped through an otherwise left-wing Politico site relatively unnoticed.
Had the general electorate read it and heard the warning, we might be living in a very different America today.
I think that's untrue because of the theft of the election was so massive.
This was of necessity just as It was indispensable that George Bush and Dick Cheney steal the election at 2020 in Florida to bring us 9-11 and the Patriot Act.
It was indispensable to have Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in office in order to bring us COVID and the calamities that are going along with it, which are In my opinion, amount to the non-existence of government in the United States for the first time in our history.
It appears to me we have no government.
A long form political argument spotlighting doubts that people in the know had about Biden's competency to live up to the responsibilities of executive authority, including A few juicy quotes about his ability to F things up, as well as a reminder about his dim bulb educational record.
For a media that spent every day looking for ways to portray Trump as a drooling moron, they went out of their way to help us all forget that Biden repeated third grade.
But not this piece.
Biden's own academic career was unimpressive.
Including repeating the third grade, earning all C's and D's his first three semesters at the University of Delaware, except for A's in PE, physical education, a B in great English writers, and an F in ROTC.
I mean, think about that, an F in ROTC.
That suggests he had difficulty following simple orders and directions.
Graduated 76.
It is your girl's law school class of 85 students.
He's the first Democratic nominee since Walter Mondale in 1984 not to have an Ivy League degree.
He was not a binder person, Clinton and Obama said, meaning he wasn't into having briefing papers and summaries of situations for him to study.
Now, as a reward, For elevating a man who repeated third grade to high office.
Americans are repeating the worst features of the same decade in which he was elected.
The 1970s, from inflation and racial strife to a catastrophic and humiliating resolution to conflict abroad.
Just how bad a student was he?
He proved it himself.
The one lesson Biden once called the single most important piece of advice he was given in his entire career was promptly forgotten when he ran against Trump.
The lesson Mike Mansfield had given him and Joe, never attack another man's motives because you don't know his motives.
If Joe didn't slander Trump's motives, he wouldn't have had any campaign at all.
Skip ahead to today and we see Joe's unforced errors as bungling of the Afghanistan pullout, blending some of the less pleasant features of the fall of Saigon and the Iran hostage crisis, and even the friendly media has been forced to acknowledge it.
While the election was still going full swing, the Dems, the media, Silicon Valley activists, And their deep pocket supporters might all have been enthusiastically throwing their support behind the guy not named Trump.
But those who actually worked with Biden saw things a little differently.
Jen Psaki, the bubble head, who dutifully circles back to his talking points day after day, didn't always have a sunny opinion of her current boss.
You could certainly see technocratic eye rolling at times, she said.
As the former White House communication director, young White House aides frequently mocked Biden's gaffes and lack of discipline in comparison to the almost clerical Obama.
They would chortle at how Biden, like an elderly uncle at Thanksgiving, would launch into extended monologues that everyone had heard before.
Comey's comments about his long-winded off-topic blathering during meetings with Obama, in which Brock had to steer the conversation back to the issue at hand, were even less flattering.
Obama took some very public pokes at him while in office.
In his first press conference in 2009, for example, the young president quipped, I don't remember exactly what Joe was referring to.
Not surprisingly, when asked about Biden's assessment that there was a 30% chance they could get the economic stimulus package wrong.
And here's the quote, which, anonymous or not, had it been made about Trump, would have been on billboards across the country.
Yet searing, anonymously sourced quotes from Obama kept appearing throughout the race.
One Democrat who spoke to Obama recalled the former president warning, don't underestimate Joe's ability to F things up.
Speaking of his own waning understanding of today's Democratic electorate, especially in Iowa, Obama told one 2020 candidate, and you know who really doesn't have it?
Joe Biden.
Hardly a ringing endorsement.
Say what you will about Obama.
He sure had Joe Biden pegged.
Too bad the rest of America had to learn that the hard way.

military presence that cost nearly a trillion taxpayer dollars and thousands of American lives.

He just ignored it.
What a mess.
What an absolute mess.
It's a total fiasco.
Everything the Biden team campaigned on in 2020 has been burned to ash.
Diplomacy is back, they said.
Nope.
He left our allies in Afghanistan in the dark.
The French, the British, the Australians.
They're all livid about this shambolic retreat.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was called to the White House.
They didn't respond to him for over 36 hours.
I thought the adults were in the room.
I thought they were back, right?
Biden hasn't taken any questions.
He could just ignore this at the outset.
His own press secretary was on vacation as Afghanistan collapsed.
And after initial remarks, he shuffled way back to Camp David in confidence.
My name is Joe Biden.
It's clear there was no real plan to leave.
They just set a date and hope no chaos would ensue.
No plans to destroy weapons caches all over the country.
No plan for an orderly exit.
None.
Biden insisted the Afghan army was strong, that the government wouldn't collapse, and that this wouldn't be like Saigon in 1975.
He was wrong on all fronts.
Now we have tens of thousands of Americans trapped in Afghanistan.
And we have no plan to get them out.
Okay, we're staying until they're all evacuated, sure, but we all know that more time and troops are going to be needed to successfully pull this off.
Right now, we're trusting the Taliban, a terror group, to keep our citizens safe as they try to make it for the airport in Kabul.
And now, We have news that there was a key memo sent last month that detailed a rabid collapse of the country that the Biden administration ignored.
In fact, this cable from the State Department said Saigon 1975 wouldn't happen.

What a mess.
What an absolute total fiasco.
An internal State Department memo last month warned officials of the potential collapse of Kabul soon after the US August 31st troop withdrawal deadline in Afghanistan.
According to a US official and a person familiar with the document, the classified cable represents the clearest evidence yet that the administration had been warned by its own officials on the ground that the Taliban's advance was imminent and Afghanistan's military may be unable to stop it.
The cable sent via The State Department's confidential dissent channel, warned of rapid territorial gains by the Taliban and the subsequent collapse of Afghanistan's security forces, and offered recommendations on ways to mitigate the crisis and speed up the evacuation, the two parties said.
The cable, dated July 13, Also called for the State Department to use tougher language in describing the atrocities being committed by the Taliban, one of the parties said.
State Department spokesman Ned Price declined to address the cable, but told the Wall Street Journal that Mr. Blinken, our Secretary of State, reads every dissent and reviews every reply.
Who's to blame here?
Throughout the summer, we knew this could happen.
We were sold snake oil instead of.
And what about contingency plans?
The Biden clown troop said they had developed many, but also nixed ones that could have addressed trapped Americans.
There weren't any Biden.
Any Biden is disengaged.
He can't lead.
He can't do the job.
He just wanted to leave.
Screw everything else.
And this is how we got here.
The media, the Democrats, and even former Obama officials are slamming Biden's calls here.
And this guy honestly thought he could get away with speaking about it, not speaking about it, with 15,000 Americans trapped in the country.
I think that's quite a stunning critique, and why should any of us be surprised?
Meanwhile, a former spook warns this is one of the most dangerous, unpredictable times in history.
Brian Dean Wright, a former CIA ops officer, explained in a brief but incisive Twitter thread Former U.S.
intelligence colleagues are very angry and deeply worried at what has happened in Afghanistan.
Wright warns that there's nearly universal belief that America and the world are in for one of the most dangerous, unpredictable times in modern history.
I have no doubt about it.
He continues, Afghanistan has shown the world, enemies and allies alike, that our military and intel assets are largely irrelevant because we can't deploy them successfully.
The blame lies at the feet of multiple presidents, the generals, the spies, the Congress.
America's elites are trash.
China knows it.
They will become emboldened Overtly and covertly.
War over Taiwan and contested islands in the South China Sea and East China Sea is now more likely.
Russia will consider similar covert and overt moves, focused on Crimea and former Soviet satellites.
The fear is that China and Russia will act in concert.
Why?
America was whipped by a tiny rebel force and couldn't even retreat properly.
Meanwhile, the American people are angry, COVID-weary, and divided.
If there were ever a time to push American hegemony aside, this is it.
If Cold War III grows hot, America will need to quickly build up and work with foreign counterparts.
But who will trust America after Afghanistan?
Who believes we have the leadership to use our military might well?
Who will trust us when we say we will stand with you?
Beyond China, Russia, others will take gambles too.
Terror orgs like Al Qaeda and ISIS are downgraded but not dead.
Their ideology is very much alive.
Iran's Hezbollah, with terror cells throughout the U.S., may see an opening to create chaos, too.
Meanwhile, the disaster inside Afghanistan is only just beginning.
The Taliban will launch a terror campaign against American collaborators.
The pictures will shock the conscience of the world, further degrading American moral authority.
Biden and company will struggle to respond.
There's also the nightmare of tactical weaponry now awash in Afghanistan in the hands of the Taliban and soon on the global black market.
These arms will fuel chaos around the world for decades to come.
The Pentagon has no idea where this stuff is and no plans to destroy it.
Finally, if Afghanis, refugees, pour into the U.S., there are profound implications for Security, culture, economy, and politics.
Are they properly vetted?
Do they hold Western tolerant values regarding women and gays?
Do they bring skills, education?
Which party will they support?
The existential problem is that America needs good leadership right now to relight its ship, but there is none.
Our federal bench is weak.
Biden is a corrupt old man.
Impeachment is a long shot.
VP Harris is an unpopular paperweight.
The legislature is a feckless cabal of empty suits.
Leadership could come from a state government.
It's true, but not soon enough.
The above threats by China, Russia and company will metastasize well before the 2024 elections and even an heroic new president.
We'll need years to clean things up again.
Our enemies and allies know this upshot.
There is fear and outrage streaming through former intel officers over the Afghanistan debacle.
America is rudderless, and the world now knows it.
Grave danger lies ahead, some predictable, others unimaginable.
Keep your loved ones tight, pray, and vote for change.
I have to say, that's exactly right.
Our institutions at every level have failed us.
The courts have failed us.
The Justice Department has failed us.
The Democratic Party have failed us.
The Border Patrol has failed us.
They're releasing criminals onto the street.
They're allowing shoplifting up to $950 with impunity.
The country is turning into a gigantic cesspool of dung.
We have no administration.
The United States is completely without a rudder, and we have for this the Democratic Party to thank.
Stunning stuff.
Who would have believed?
In order to promote their own self-interest, they'd be willing to sacrifice The United States of America.
That's exactly where things stand today.

Even the Department of Justice and the FBI are having to acknowledge finding scant evidence
Capitol attack was a coordinated effect.
In other words, there was no insurrection.
Washington, August 20th.
The FBI has found scant evidence that the January 6th attack on the Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result.
According to four current and former law enforcement officials, although federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the evidence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump.
According to the sources, Who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.
90 to 95% of these are one-off cases that a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation.
Then you have 5% maybe of these militia groups who are more closely organized.
But there was no grand scheme with Roger Scone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.
Stone, a veteran Republican operative and self-described dirty trickster, and a friend of mine, incidentally, and Jones, founder of a conspiracy-driven radio show and webcast, are both allies of Trump.
And had been involved in pro-Trump events in Washington on January 5th, the day before the riot.
FBI investigators did find that cells of protesters, including followers of the far-right Oath Keepers and Proud Boys groups, had aimed to break into the Capitol.
But they found no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do if they made it inside, the sources reported.
Pretty fascinating stuff, all things considered.
Prosecutors have filed conspiracy charges against 40 of these defendants, alleging that they engage in some degree of planning before the attack.
They allege that one Proud Boy leader recruited members and urged them to stockpile bulletproof vests and other military-style equipment in the weeks before the attack, and on January 6, Sent members forward with a plan to split into groups and make multiple entries to the Capitol.
But so far, prosecutors have steered clear of more serious politically loaded charges that the sources said had been initially discussed by prosecutors, such as seditious conspiracy racketeering.
The FBI's assessment could prove relevant.
For a congressional investigation that also aims to determine how that day's events were organized and by whom.
Senior lawmakers have been briefed in detail on the results of the FBI's investigation so far and find them credible, a Democrat congressional source said.
The chaos on January 6 erupted as the U.S.
Senate and House of Representatives met to certify Joe Biden's victory in November's presidential election.
It was the most violent attack on the Capitol since the War of 1812, forcing lawmakers and Trump's own vice president, Mike Pence, to scramble for safety.
But we know it's all been grossly exaggerated, including the fact that they weren't there to disrupt the counting of the ballots.
But to support the discussion of evidence of election fraud and the theft of the 2020 election, where Mike Lindell has done a 72-hour marathon that I think leaves no doubt about it.
Trump made what has been described as an incendiary speech at a nearby rally shortly before the riot.
Repeating false claims that the 2020 election was stolen and urging supporters to march on the Capitol to pressure lawmakers to reject Biden's victory.
But that's highly distorted.
I listened to the entire speech.
It was very peaceful.
It wasn't even remotely incendiary.
In public comments last month, the Democrat-led Congressional Committee formed to investigate the violence.
Police officers injured in the mayhem urged lawmakers to determine whether Trump helped instigate it.
Some Democrats have said they want him to testify.
But the FBI has so far found no evidence that he or people directly around him were involved in organizing the violence, according to the four current and former law enforcement officials.
That's all terribly important and appropriate.
Meanwhile, the New York Times and ADL lies exposed by the FBI.
Fake news coming from the New York Times.
Surprise, surprise.
As the storming of the Capitol building on January 6th was still unfolding, a despicable gremlin of a woman at the New York Times, Shara Frankel, Who's already crafting a totally baseless lie, along with her demonic friends at the ADL and Facebook's Chief O-O-O-O Cheryl Sandberg about the event being planned on both Gab and Parler.
The storming of the Capitol was organized on social media, she wrote.
We need to ascertain right here, right now, Well, there's this specific platform was knowingly facilitating an attack on our nation's capital, literally a terror act against the seat of our government, said the ADL's Greenblatt, who noted that other platforms should also be investigated over the insurrection attempt, but said special attention needs to be trained on GAAP.
The ADL also went so far as to demand The DOJ investigate both myself individually and Gab as a whole, or intentionally aiding or abetting individuals who carried out the January 6 attack on the nation's capital.
Sheryl Sandberg, the chief operating officer of the largest social network on the Internet, that happens to have a specific feature for organizing and planning events also defected the blame on to Gab and Parler.
Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg has sought to deflect blame, noting the role of smaller right-leaning services such as Parler and Gab.
It has been widely reported Even by mainstream media outlets.
That if the event was planned and organized anywhere, it was most certainly done on her platform, Facebook.
Today, the FBI is exposing the mountain of lies built up by Frank Hall, Greenblatt, and Sainberg.
I can't help noticing a trend here.

These defamatory lies also impacted Gab's public image.
The lie is still featured prominently on Gab's Wikipedia page, which is falsely cited by other reporters and stories about Gab to this day.
We demand a full and immediate retraction of this story by the New York Times.
And thank God for shining the light of truth on this fake news story.

This stands in sharp contrast to platforms like Facebook and Twitter, which for years have harbored international terrorist organizations like the Taliban, something your paper has never reported on or taken to task to the extent you took us to task for content.
Which appeared on our platform in the aftermath of January 6 and other offensive but legal content that has appeared on our platform from time to time.

FBI officials' own statements on the matter reported today prove it was false.

As you get new data or alternative hypotheses, you may find yourself obligated to reject hypotheses you previously accepted, accept hypotheses you previously rejected, and leave others in suspense.
But according to this professor at the University of Michigan, Deborah Ball, A mathematics professor argued in a podcast that the discipline inflicts racism against black and Latino students.
This is quite bizarre, even extremely so.
On July 21st, Ball appeared on an episode of the EdFix podcast entitled Fighting Racism with Mathematics to Make Your Case.
She said mathematics is dominated by whiteness and racism.
She also expressed frustration at her mathematics and science colleagues, whom she described as resistant to her ideas that the disciplines are just as subjective in interpretation and analysis as humanity's, no doubt because it's a completely nutty idea.
This professor is completely incompetent.
In all my years as a professor of philosophy, I emphasize the difference between what are known as analytic and synthetic claims.
Analytic claims are claims that cannot be false, such as that 2 plus 2 equals 12, or that bachelors are male.
Those are claims that must be true as a matter of definition.
Unlike, for example, synthetic claims about, say, the proportion of illegals who are coming across the southern border now who may have COVID.
That's an empirical question, but it also has an objective solution.
For this woman to be making this argument is lunatic in the extreme.
It's difficult to figure out how to surface and unpack the ways that mathematics, for example, is a harbor for whiteness.
According to Ball, whiteness plays an integral role in explaining the racial and ethnic disparities that exist in mathematics performance.
She claims that since white and Asian students are over-representative in high-level mathematics, New pedagogy is required to increase access to underrepresented minority students.
Mathematics, despite the way we present it, is something many cultures and communities have created.
And there are people, scholars in our country and teachers, have exploited opportunities to broaden kids' views of mathematics.
More broadly, Paul views racial injustice as an issue that permeates the educational system.
Writing for the Detroit Free Press on March 21st, she states, as districts emerge from the quarantine of the last year, the plans for a safe return to school must take a fuller view of the safety needed to dismantle anti-blackness and white supremacy in our educational system.
What she doesn't seem to understand is that there are innate genetic differences in intelligence among the various races.

It turns out that perfectly objective studies show the average IQ of whites is 100, but the average IQ of blacks in the United States is 80.
The average IQ of Asian Americans is 110.
The average IQ of Jewish students turns out to be 118.
Different racial groups are better at different intellectual tasks, but it has nothing to do with racism.
It's a failure of individuals who are completely unqualified To recognize the inherent genetic differences in ability that distinguish the races.

Oregon Governor Kate Brown has canceled the proficiency standards for reading, writing, and math from high school graduation requirements.
The governor's office says suspending the reading, writing, and math proficiency requirements will benefit Oregon's Black, Latino, Latino, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander tribes.
And students of color?
How that's possible is beyond imagination.
In essence, students of color are not smart enough to learn reading or writing or math, so they shouldn't be expected to read, write, or understand mathematics.
Kate Brown Luke sounds and acts like a typical left-wing moonbat.
It's hard to imagine a state governor.
Saying the minority students of the state are not smart enough to pass proficiency standards, thereby signaling her extreme racist perspective and gaining cheers from her leftist tribe.

Through a spokesperson, the governor declined again Friday to comment on the law and why she supported suspending the proficiency requirements.
Brown's decision was not public until recently.
Because her office did not hold a signing ceremony or issue a press release, and the fact that Governor signed the bill was not entered into the legislative database until July 29, a departure from normal practice of updating the public database the same day a bill is signed.

They're going to be incapable of dealing with issues that even the most elementary level They won't be capable of holding a job.
It's going to be truly stunning what's taking place here.
And I frankly find the situation shocking beyond belief.

Despite the high amount of death following vaccination, the report states, vaccination is still the best way to control the disease.

When it comes to children who are left behind during the pandemic lockdowns, it wasn't just school-age students who were affected.
Instead, a new study has found that the IQ for children born during the pandemic is down roughly 22 points, according to the UK's Guardian.
In the decade preceding the pandemic, The mean IQ score on standard tests for children aged between three months and three years of age hovered around 100.
But for children born during the pandemic, that number has tumbled to 78, according to the analysis, which is yet to be peer reviewed.
We find that children born during the pandemic have significantly reduced verbal motor And overall cognitive performance compared to children born pre-pandemic.
Moreover, we find that males and children in lower socioeconomic families have been most affected.
Results highlight that even in the absence of direct SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19 illness, environmental changes associate COVID-19 pandemic significantly and negatively affecting infant and child development.
While children in lower socioeconomic brackets were the most affected, the study was conducted among 672 children in Rhode Island, a relatively affluent state in an affluent part of the United States, as being the very liberal guardian The outlet noted that it's a place where social support and unemployment benefits are generous.
It's not subtle by any stretch, said Sean Gioni, associate professor of pediatric research at Brown and the lead study author.
You don't typically see things like that outside of major cognitive disorders.

Considerations are based on current evidence known about the transmission and severity of the coronavirus disease, COVID-19, and may need to be revised as more information becomes available.
The shielding approach aims to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases By limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe diseases, high risk, and the general population, low risk.
High risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safer green zones established at the household, neighborhood, camp, sector, or community level, depending on the context and setting.

Plan for an extended duration of implementation time at least six months.

So this is excerpts from an article that was actually in a medical journal, the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association, okay?
It was a May 27th article titled, On having whiteness.
All right, so listen to that title again.

It was written by a guy by the name of Dr. Donald Moss.
I have not researched him at all, who is both a faculty member of the New York Psychoanalytic Institute and the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
Moss defines whiteness as, quote, condition one first acquires and then has A malignant parasitic-like condition to which white people have a particular susceptibility.
The condition is foundational, generating characteristic ways of being in one's body, mind, and in the world.
As Moth continues, parasitic whiteness renders the appetite of its host voracious, insatiable, and perverse.
Those deformed appetites particularly target non-white peoples.
Once established, these appetites are nearly impossible to eliminate.
Moss goes on to offer some treatments for the condition, the most effective of which seems to be a combination of psychic and social-historical interventions, whatever the hell that means.
He then goes on to write, such interventions reasonably aim to reshape whitenesses' infiltrated appetites to reduce their intensity Redistribute their aims and occasionally turn those aims towards the work of reparation.
Even then, Moss laments, quote, there is no guarantee against regression and, quote, there is not yet a permanent cure.
Moss's claims are so astounding that some observers speculated at the journal that he was perhaps being fictional and satirical.
But the peer reviewed study is real.
And the former New York University educator appears to have plenty of like-minded experts as allies.
Paul, give us the bottom line of what's supposed to be surprising about this study.
Well, it's shocking, to use the words that you use all the time, stunning, staggering, Yeah.
It's unreal that this is an article, I just quoted sentences from you and I put quotes for the sentence, this is an article in the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association saying that whiteness is a condition, it's malignant, parasitic, okay, foundational.
It's unreal what's being done and to be, in my way of thinking, I've often said this conflict at its root, at its core, this conflict is racial.

Sure, I could mention another interesting aspect of this whole scam and how much money is being stolen.
In this same magazine that I just read from, which is called The New American, there's an article talking about the stolen unemployment money.
For example, they estimate as much as $400 billion has been stolen.
According to recent reports, as much as half of the unemployment benefits paid out as part
of the government-issued COVID relief may have been stolen through fraud, and allegedly
much of that money has left US shores through the scheming of international criminals.
The reports from Fraud Detection Services of ID.me and LexisNexis Risk Solutions are
both shocking and damning.
Blake Hall, CEO of ID.me, told us on June 10th that America has lost more than $400
billion to fraudulent claims, and probably 50% of the monies have been stolen by international
criminal networks with state support, specifically China, Nigeria, and Russia.
These groups are definitely backed by the state, he said.
The long-term unemployment payments now being issued on a massive scale as a result of the
US COVID response, criminals are seeing the opportunity to cash in and add to that the
simple fact that like nearly everything else related to the government handling of COVID
and other things, they are unprepared.
And they've never dealt with such a gigantic scale of things before.
The sheer numbers of unemployment claims, quote, overwhelm the system.
And the typical checks and balances put in place to weed out fraud, quote, fell apart.
Now, I'll just stop there.
There's more to the article.
But just imagine this.
Meanwhile, people like me, and this is a personal testimony, and I know others can probably make the same claims because I made some phone calls, including to an attorney, I have not been able to access any unemployment because the system doesn't seem to be working.
I can't really log in.
I go to another site they recommend to verify my ID and that site doesn't seem to allow me to proceed forward.
I can't really do anything.
I'm basically frozen out.
And I called an attorney to see if there's anything that I could do and if they had any way of representing me and it was interesting.
She said, yeah, I'm hearing the same thing from a lot of people.
Just one other anecdote is last year my next-door neighbor experienced something similar.
They were out of work for about 10 weeks.
He only got unemployment for two weeks and then after that he couldn't seem to continue to keep making the claims on the online system.
Because it's pretty much all online now and if the online system is not working properly and not allowing you to fill out the forms and to make your submissions, then what can you do?
And I've tried to call the phone number Probably 30 to 40 times over a couple of months, and it's basically just a continuing loop where they refer you to other phone numbers, and then it says they're busy, and the call hangs up, so I've not been able to speak to anybody either.
So this is our wonderful system the government has.
