Jimmy Dore Show - The REAL REASON The Iran Ceasefire Is Already Collapsing! w/ Col. Douglas Macgregor Aired: 2026-04-10 Duration: 01:01:24 === Serious Situation With Talks (15:20) === [00:00:04] Hey, we'll be in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Burbank, California. [00:00:28] That's on May 7th. [00:00:29] That's a Saturday. [00:00:30] Then we'll be in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Spokane, Tacoma. [00:00:34] Go to jimmiedoor.com. [00:00:35] For a link for all those tickets. [00:00:37] See you there. [00:00:58] Donald Trump initially seemed to be accepting the 10 points that Iran was demanding. [00:01:07] It says right here that. [00:01:11] The Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete, immediate, and safe open of the Strait of Hormuz. [00:01:16] I agree to suspend the bombing and attacks of Iran for a period of two weeks. [00:01:20] This will be a double sided ceasefire. [00:01:23] But that's not how Iran saw it. [00:01:25] Iran saw it that the United States' absolute humiliation for Washington on Al Jazeera, Iranian state TV confirms Trump was forced to accept a humiliating 10 point plan. [00:01:37] The U.S. is withdrawing troops, paying reparations, and surrendering the Strait of Hormuz. [00:01:42] Total strategic defeat for Trump. [00:01:44] So do you agree that if he accepted the 10 point plan, that it would be a strategic and humiliating defeat for Trump? [00:01:53] No, I don't think he accepted the 10 points. [00:01:56] And furthermore, you know, the Iranians, they're declaring victory. [00:02:00] You know, obviously they think, and they're not entirely wrong simply because we're the ones that have been asking for days now for a ceasefire, not the Iranians. [00:02:09] The Iranians really don't want a ceasefire. [00:02:12] They made that very clear. [00:02:13] They hold a strategic initiative. [00:02:15] We don't. [00:02:16] But on the other hand, you have Secretary of War Higseth telling us that this is evidence for our great victory over Iran. [00:02:24] So you can pick which one you want to believe. [00:02:27] I think what's actually happened is as follows there was some sort of backdoor deal under which Pakistan would submit this proposal that we may well have crafted ourselves in some fashion and said, okay, we'll present this to them and we'll say that this is being presented to you. [00:02:48] Which is what happened. [00:02:50] The 10 point aspect of this whole thing, I think, was simply glossed over by President Trump. [00:02:56] In fact, I don't know that any of the details were carefully examined. [00:03:00] What they really wanted was a pause. [00:03:03] And I think that's what you're getting. [00:03:04] You're getting an intermission. [00:03:05] Now, how long will it last? [00:03:08] I'm hearing from friends in the region telling me that it's already fallen apart, it's completely meaningless. [00:03:14] On the other hand, I'm being told by friends in Washington that this is going to go forward and we are going to meet in Islamabad. [00:03:22] What are we going to discuss? [00:03:23] Well, if you look at the 10 points, and no one has seen a document from Iran that lists these 10 points, but we have a general idea of what's in them. [00:03:33] And if you look at them, they're completely unacceptable, totally unacceptable to us, because we have taken Israel's position. [00:03:42] And I think this gets to the real point of the whole issue right now. [00:03:46] Our interests and Israel's interests, contrary to popular belief, contrary to what President Trump has said, are not the same. [00:03:56] We want this thing to end. [00:03:59] President Trump was, quote unquote, misinformed. [00:04:02] You know, he was told in a few days this will be over, they'll fall apart, then we can move on to other things. [00:04:09] I think he was told that by Netanyahu. [00:04:11] When he still didn't move, Netanyahu attacked, and we were sort of dragged in to do this. [00:04:17] It's been a catastrophe for the world, a disaster for the world, for the global economy. [00:04:23] It's not good for us. [00:04:25] And so when you look at these 10 points, It's impossible for us to accept them without effectively abandoning Israel. [00:04:34] And at this point, I don't think that's going to happen. [00:04:37] So, what do you make of it? [00:04:39] Well, here, let me just show you. [00:04:40] These are the reported 10 points. [00:04:42] Now, again, as you said, we don't have an official confirmation on this, but they wanted a guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again, permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire. [00:04:53] They want an end to Israel strikes on Lebanon. [00:04:56] Israel is bombing the hell out of Lebanon right now. [00:05:01] Lifting of all U.S. sanctions on Iran, end to all regional fighting against Iranian allies. [00:05:07] Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz. [00:05:09] Iran would impose $2 million fees per ship transiting Hormuz. [00:05:14] Number eight, Iran would split these fees with Oman. [00:05:17] And number nine, Iran would establish rules for safe passage through Hormuz. [00:05:22] Number 10, Iran would use Hormuz fees for reconstructions instead of reparations. [00:05:28] So that was what was. [00:05:29] This is being reported by. [00:05:31] Many credible sources that that was the 10 points. [00:05:35] And as you say, there's no way that Trump could agree to those, but he did seem initially to say yes. [00:05:42] Well, he had to do that in order to get any sort of discussion. [00:05:46] You know, Jimmy, if you don't say, all right, we'll consider these as the basis for negotiation, which effectively is what we said, you can't meet with them. [00:05:57] Now, the point is, the Iranians have just said, until the bombing in Lebanon stops, we're not going to take this ceasefire seriously. [00:06:05] In other words, they want it to be region wide, and it's not region wide right now. [00:06:11] We're trying to separate what Israel is doing from the talks that we want to have. [00:06:16] Well, that's not acceptable either to Israel or to Iran. [00:06:20] So I don't know where we go from this. [00:06:22] Maybe we're still going to have a meeting. [00:06:24] Then again, you have to keep in mind that the two gentlemen, Kushner and Witkoff, have both been previously disinvited from coming back. [00:06:35] But apparently they're going to be there along with Vice President Vance. [00:06:40] So, here is from today. [00:06:42] Here's the press secretary, and here's what she had to say about the 10 point plan. [00:06:47] Already. [00:06:48] So, let me be clear and correct the record. [00:06:49] The Iranians originally put forward a 10 point plan that was fundamentally unserious, unacceptable, and completely discarded. [00:06:55] It was literally thrown in the garbage by President Trump and his negotiating team. [00:06:58] Many outlets in this room have falsely reported on that plan as being acceptable to the United States, and that is false. [00:07:03] With the president's deadline fast approaching and the United States military completely decimating Iran with each passing hour, the regime acknowledged reality to the negotiating team. [00:07:09] They put forward a more reasonable and entirely different and condensed plan to the president and his team. [00:07:14] President Trump and the team determined the new modified plan was a workable basis on which to negotiate and to align it with our own 15 point proposal. [00:07:21] The president's red lines, namely the end of Iranian enrichment in Iran, have not changed. [00:07:25] And the idea that President Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list as a deal is completely absurd. [00:07:31] So now, this story because Trump got a lot of pushback after it was reported that he had accepted these 10 points and that they were going to work it out further over the next two weeks. [00:07:44] And so I think that's what that is about. [00:07:46] And they're now saying, no, no, no, we got rid of those 10 points because he was getting so much. [00:07:52] Even Fox News was upset with him over it. [00:07:54] Oh, I know, right? [00:07:57] And so now they're saying, no, no, no, we got rid of those 10 points. [00:08:02] Nobody can worry about that. [00:08:03] And now we have new points. [00:08:05] We're not going to tell you what they are. [00:08:08] That's a workable thing. [00:08:09] So that's why this Saturday meeting in Islamabad with Kushner, Witkoff, and Vance is going forward. [00:08:16] Does that make sense? [00:08:18] I think it's as good an explanation as anybody else can come up with. [00:08:22] By the way, I didn't know we had a female Ben Shapiro. [00:08:25] That's a new development. [00:08:28] I speed it up a little. [00:08:30] Oh, really? [00:08:30] Okay. [00:08:31] Well, that's good. [00:08:31] I didn't want to think of Ben in drag. [00:08:33] Okay. [00:08:36] You know, It's very clear that President Trump, and I say this because I had a couple of occasions with him, and he was not enthusiastic about going to war with Iran. [00:08:48] And I think President Trump, probably in his heart, and I think he has one, contrary to what some people think, absolutely did not want this war. [00:08:59] I think he now knows that he's got a stinker and that this thing needs to stop. [00:09:05] The problem for him is that how does he stop it? [00:09:08] There's no evidence that the reckless team running the show in Israel is prepared to stop anything. [00:09:16] And now he's got a problem with the Iranians. [00:09:18] They hold the strategic initiative. [00:09:19] They have demonstrated they cannot be conquered. [00:09:23] I mean, literally, that's what they've demonstrated. [00:09:25] They're a mountain fortress. [00:09:26] You need a million men to invade the place. [00:09:29] Nobody in their right mind wants to be bothered with that. [00:09:32] So he's trying to focus narrowly on the Persian Gulf because I think he's had every leader in the world, particularly in the global south, call him. [00:09:39] and say, look, we're headed into a global economic depression. [00:09:44] We have food, feedstock, fuel, and fertilizer problems. [00:09:49] If we can't fix this very, very quickly, we're going to have people starving around the world. [00:09:55] What are you going to do about it? [00:09:56] So I think all of these things are now driving the show in the White House. [00:10:01] The problem is that I don't think he's going to get very far for the reasons that were just outlined, because I don't think the Iranians are inclined to compromise very much. [00:10:10] Maybe some, but not most. [00:10:12] Do you think China, I've heard reports that China has stepped in and is. [00:10:18] Is pressuring, they pressured Iran to stop, to do a ceasefire because they need oil. [00:10:28] China imports half of all of its oil from the Persian Gulf, about 13% from Iran and the rest from the Gulf states. [00:10:38] They are now looking around the world for alternatives. [00:10:41] The Russians, of course, they're making more than $250 million a day more than they did previously. [00:10:49] Because of the demand for their oil, and they're selling it to the highest bidder. [00:10:52] This has become a bidder's market. [00:10:56] The Japanese, the Koreans, and others have outbid the Europeans to the point where tankers headed for Europe turned around and sailed back to Asia. [00:11:05] This is a very serious situation. [00:11:08] So I think that China very definitely put some pressure on the Iranians, and I think the Iranians want to accommodate the Chinese. [00:11:15] But in fairness to the Chinese, I would like to point out that from the very beginning, even before the war began, the Chinese had said, Don't do this. [00:11:24] This is a disaster. [00:11:25] Don't do it. [00:11:26] We didn't listen. [00:11:28] The Russians told Donald Trump this will be a disaster. [00:11:31] Don't do it. [00:11:33] Nobody listened to them, and they were right. [00:11:35] The Indians have privately said the same thing. [00:11:38] All of them are interested in halting this because of the global economic catastrophe that is ensuing. [00:11:44] Here's a little bit more from the press secretary. [00:11:48] I can announce that the president is dispatching his negotiating team, led by the vice president of the United States, JD Vance, special envoy, Whitcoff. [00:11:58] So there you go. [00:11:59] So she is reconfirming. [00:12:01] And Mr. Kushner to Islamabad for talks this weekend. [00:12:04] The first round of. [00:12:06] Oh, this is what those talks will take place on Saturday morning, local time. [00:12:10] And we know we look forward to those in person meetings. [00:12:13] So there you have it. [00:12:14] So there she's confirming that the negotiations are moving forward. [00:12:18] There's going to be a negotiation Saturday. [00:12:20] Now, these things are changing by the minute, it seems. [00:12:25] But why on earth would Iran ever want to negotiate with Jared Kushner and Wick? [00:12:31] After they've been lied to repeatedly over and over. [00:12:33] By the way, they're not even official members of the government, are they? [00:12:38] So, what do you make of what she just said? [00:12:42] Well, it's what I said earlier. [00:12:44] I had a feeling this would happen. [00:12:45] And the Iranians made it very clear that in their minds, they're dealing with two people who are agents for Israel. [00:12:53] These people are not representing the interests of the American people. [00:12:56] In fact, they went so far as to suggest that they would prefer, frankly, to talk with Vice President Vance. [00:13:04] Whom they regarded as a truly balanced representative of American national interest. [00:13:10] By the way, the Russians reached the same conclusions about Kushner and Witkoff, both of whom were interested more in side deals that they could make that would enrich themselves than they were in the substance under discussion. [00:13:24] I think the fact that President Trump is sending the two of them back with Vance suggests that Mr. Netanyahu continues to hold enormous power and influence over President Trump. [00:13:37] What is your hunch on where they get that leverage? [00:13:44] You know, it's not, it's, I can't give you a hunch. [00:13:47] What I would say is the following. [00:13:49] If you look at the collection of billionaires, Zionist billionaires, these are people like Ellison and others who are contributing heavily to the power and influence of the lobby. [00:13:59] Remember, the Israel lobby has never been regarded as a foreign lobby. [00:14:04] Why? [00:14:04] Well, most of its money doesn't come from overseas, it comes from people inside the United States who are Zionists. [00:14:11] And these Zionists are the ones that helped to get President Trump elected. [00:14:15] You can go back to Miriam Adelson. [00:14:17] And to the discussions she had with Trump, she provided $150 million to his campaign, but she extracted some promises. [00:14:27] And those promises included you're going to deal with Iran, finally. [00:14:31] We have to have a settlement with Iran. [00:14:34] The Israelis know they can't settle anything with Iran without American military power. [00:14:39] So effectively, President Trump is obligated to commit American armed forces in a war against Iran that is designed to ultimately destroy Iran and make it subservient to Israel. [00:14:52] Now, why would that be the case? [00:14:54] Well, you have to look at the larger picture for Israel. [00:14:57] Israel will never feel safe in the region until it dominates all of it, hence the Greater Israel Project. [00:15:04] If you look at the Greater Israel Project, it's patently obvious what's going on. [00:15:09] Now, even in the last few weeks, what's interesting is that people like Naftali Bennett, as well as Mr. Netanyahu, have stood up and said, well, you know, there's another problem. [00:15:20] It's called Turkey. [00:15:22] Those Turks will have to be dealt with. === The Greater Israel Project (06:50) === [00:15:25] So, I guess if you're sitting in the armed forces right now of the United States, you say, well, once we finally destroyed Iran, I guess we'll be committed to destroy Turkey. [00:15:34] I mean, this is the sort of madness that is going on. [00:15:38] And President Trump is caught. [00:15:39] He's caught in this, not just in this escalation trap, instead of looking for ways to ameliorate conditions, improve relations, and talk intelligently. [00:15:51] He's taken this bullying approach, which is what he learned, I'm sure, in the real estate market in New York City. [00:15:58] And this bullying approach has put him in a terrible position. [00:16:01] I mean, on one night he says, I'm going to destroy an entire civilization. [00:16:06] There will be nothing left. [00:16:08] The next day he says, Well, I really want to help the Iranian people. [00:16:13] What the hell is this? [00:16:15] It makes no sense. [00:16:17] So here's the big sticking point. [00:16:20] I think this is what's ruining the ceasefire. [00:16:23] So here was the original deal from Pakistan. [00:16:26] It said, We have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon. [00:16:32] And elsewhere effective immediately. [00:16:35] And then Israel just starts pummeling Lebanon after this. [00:16:39] And here's what JD Vance had to say about it. [00:16:42] He's in Hungary for some reason. [00:16:45] And here we go. [00:16:46] I think this comes from a legitimate misunderstanding. [00:16:48] I think the Iranians thought that the ceasefire included Lebanon, and it just didn't. [00:16:53] We never made that promise. [00:16:55] We never indicated that was going to be the case. [00:16:57] What we said is that the ceasefire would be focused on Iran, and the ceasefire would be focused on America's allies, both Israel and the Gulf Arab states. [00:17:06] So he's saying it was just a big misunderstanding. [00:17:09] Max Blumenthal said that, oh, you know, Trump got his call from his Zio masters, and that's what happened. [00:17:16] Max is right. [00:17:17] What happened was exactly what Max stated. [00:17:21] Again, I go back to the original drafts of these messages. [00:17:24] And I think the original message that we instructed the Pakistanis to send did not exclude Lebanon. [00:17:33] And when it became clear that we accepted it, because after all, we told them what we wanted them to send, Mr. Netanyahu got on the phone and called Trump and said, you can't do this. [00:17:42] We have to finish off Lebanon. [00:17:45] And so then we backed off immediately and said, oh, we're sorry. [00:17:49] We can't include Lebanon in this. [00:17:51] And I think Max is right. [00:17:53] And so here's the response. [00:17:56] The Iran U.S. ceasefire terms are clear and explicit. [00:18:00] U.S. must choose ceasefire or continued war via Israel. [00:18:05] It cannot have both. [00:18:06] The world sees the massacres in Lebanon. [00:18:10] The ball is in the U.S. court, and the world is watching whether it will act on its commitments. [00:18:16] Do you think that? [00:18:18] So, if they don't stop Israel from bombing Lebanon, Iran will not agree to a ceasefire. [00:18:25] So, do you think that this war is going to go on? [00:18:29] I've heard people say that it's going to go on for two more years now. [00:18:32] What do you think? [00:18:33] Well, it's going to continue. [00:18:35] There's no question about it. [00:18:36] That's why I said, if anything, this will be an intermission in a very bad play. [00:18:42] This is not going to be any sort of lasting ceasefire. [00:18:45] And the Israelis don't respect ceasefires anyway. [00:18:48] We have a long history of that sort of thing. [00:18:50] Well, if you ask ChatGPT, which I did, how many ceasefires has Israel broken? [00:18:55] Number only 2073. [00:18:58] That's according to ChatGPT. [00:19:01] Well, I'm sure that Larry Ellison will get control of Chat at some point and change that. [00:19:06] But the bottom line is now, this is going to go on. [00:19:10] Now, you say, how long? [00:19:11] Will this last a year or two years or something else? [00:19:15] I think the world is going to intervene in this. [00:19:17] When I say the world, I'm talking about economic reality. [00:19:20] I'm also talking about financial and economic reality here at home. [00:19:25] I mean, how much longer can we go on like this before? [00:19:30] The financial system finally buckles. [00:19:32] We have people talking privately now about the 10 year bond and saying that this yield is going to rise. [00:19:39] Once that yield hits 5%, we're finished. [00:19:43] We can't sustain the debt. [00:19:45] And we've already added another trillion dollars to the national sovereign debt. [00:19:50] So it's 39 trillion. [00:19:52] I don't know what the current debt to GDP ratio is, it was about 140% debt to GDP. [00:20:00] I think it's rising quickly. [00:20:02] At some points, you hit a brick wall. [00:20:04] And I think that's where the U.S. financial system and our economy are sort of headed down the road in a very fast truck without any brakes, right towards a concrete wall. [00:20:17] So I think that's going to have an impact. [00:20:19] And I think overseas, for the reasons I've already cited, the rest of the world is going to demand an end to this thing. [00:20:26] The real problem is not so much us, because I think privately, President Trump wants to end this war. [00:20:32] No question to my mind. [00:20:34] The problem is Israel. [00:20:36] So, speaking to your point about the rest of the world is going to try to do something to end this, well, this is from today. [00:20:45] More than 15 countries are planning to facilitate Strait of Hormuz access. [00:20:49] Macron says about 15 countries are currently mobilized and are participating in the planning under France's leadership to enable the implementation of this strictly defensive mission in coordination with Iran to facilitate the resumption of traffic, Macron said on Wednesday, speaking at the start of his meeting. [00:21:08] Defense and with advisors and members of his cabinet. [00:21:14] So it seems like the rest of the world is negotiating without Trump in a sense with Iran. [00:21:22] Does that sound like what's happening? [00:21:24] Absolutely. [00:21:25] Because at the same time, you have the Iranians that said if you're not affiliated with the United States, in other words, you're not supportive of the United States and Israel in this conflict, and you're willing to pay the toll that we're charging. [00:21:39] And you're going to pay it in rubles or yuan or rupees and so forth, in other words, not in dollars, you can go through the straight. [00:21:49] They've made that very clear. [00:21:51] So the rest of the world is looking at this and saying, well, how does it help the world and help us for the United States Armed Forces to bomb Iran into the Stone Age? [00:22:03] And I think the answer is it doesn't. [00:22:05] So I think the rest of the world is moving away from us at very high speed. [00:22:09] And by the way, The Europeans have more incentive now than they've ever had before to launch out on their own away from us. === A Panic for the Calm (13:34) === [00:22:15] I think that's pretty clear. [00:22:53] At the announcement of Trump accepting the ceasefire and accepting the 10 points, immediately the Chuds, most of the rational thinking people have abandoned the MAGA movement. [00:23:12] People like Tucker Carlson, people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, people like Thomas Massey, people like Candace Owens, people like Joe Rogan, Theo Vaughn, Andrew Shultz. [00:23:25] Tim Dillon. [00:23:28] Everybody has abandoned the MAGA except the hardcore MAGA chuds. [00:23:34] And man, did they really. [00:23:36] You mean Zionists and conservatives who are in open relationships with their wife? [00:23:41] That's what you mean. [00:23:41] Yes. [00:23:45] At least we found out that there still are cross dressers. [00:23:50] Right? [00:23:50] Remember? [00:23:51] Christy Gnome? [00:23:52] Yeah. [00:23:53] Anyway. [00:23:53] We're happy to hear they're still alive. [00:23:55] So, Canadian shop teacher, a husband. [00:23:57] So, here's how the Zionist, Israel first people were responding to the idea that Trump is going to do a two week ceasefire. [00:24:08] You want to hear? [00:24:09] Here's Randy Fine. [00:24:10] Now, you know who Randy Fine is, right? [00:24:12] He's the biggest, craziest Zionist congressman from Israel first. [00:24:17] I don't even think he cares about the United States at all. [00:24:19] Let's see. [00:24:19] He's Israel first. [00:24:20] He tweets. [00:24:21] So here's Trump saying, Hey, we're going to accept these 10 points and we're going to go have a negotiation and end it in a two week ceasefire. [00:24:29] Randy Fine retweets and said, It's called the art of the deal for a reason, panicans and leftists. [00:24:35] We're just a panic. [00:24:37] Nobody does it like President Trump. [00:24:38] So, first of all, so they're trying to spin this as a win for Donald Trump. [00:24:45] And you know the old sailor rhyme that goes, If you've pleased Randy Fine, that's not a good sign? [00:24:51] Yes. [00:24:52] Okay, I made it up. [00:24:53] Oh. [00:24:54] I believe it. [00:24:55] It's as good as a compass. [00:24:56] It really is. [00:24:57] Yeah, that's how you know there's something real bad. [00:25:00] If Randy Fine, aka the Stay Puff Mass Murder Man, is happy, that's a bad omen. [00:25:06] It's not good. [00:25:09] So, what Randy Fine's trying to take credit for the rest of the world having to undo the mess that Trump has created, like a ringmaster for a flea circus, saying he intentionally wanted the fleas to just jump and randomly all over the dog's ass. [00:25:23] That's right. [00:25:24] Here's another one. [00:25:24] Oh, here's a friend of the show, my old pal Dave Rubin. [00:25:28] He said the panic in is the word of the day. [00:25:31] Which panic in wants to hand me my I told you so? [00:25:36] So they're literally trying to say this ultimate military defeat by Donald Trump and the United States. [00:25:43] Iran still controls the Strait of Hormuz. [00:25:46] Right. [00:25:47] They hate us more now. [00:25:50] They didn't overthrow the government. [00:25:52] They didn't control it before. [00:25:54] We didn't overthrow their government. [00:25:57] Didn't get the uranium that Mark Levin wanted. [00:25:59] Didn't get the uranium. [00:26:01] Had a complete failed. [00:26:03] Military operation. [00:26:06] But these people, I swear to God, the way their mind works is God's own secret mystery. [00:26:12] But it's being paid by the same shit Israel wants to say. [00:26:14] See, you guys, you guys were panicking over Trump starting this war. [00:26:19] But look, Trump won. [00:26:21] No, they're calling me Hispanic. [00:26:23] The Strait of Hormuz is closed. [00:26:26] Yeah. [00:26:28] Trump has been running the same negotiation playbook forever pressure, escalation, chaos, then leverage a deal. [00:26:37] We've watched it happen again and again. [00:26:39] This wasn't complicated. [00:26:40] It was basic pattern recognition. [00:26:43] Did ChatGPT write this for him? [00:26:46] No, probably not. [00:26:47] While some people were panicking, others were paying attention. [00:26:50] Now we move to phase two. [00:26:52] Iran is largely neutralized. [00:26:54] No, it isn't, you idiot. [00:26:56] And he'll be the first one to forget he said that once this Israel. [00:27:00] There's no, not a chance, Jimmy. [00:27:03] And I would be delighted to be the one who's wrong. [00:27:06] There's not a chance Israel is going to allow a ceasefire with Iran when they didn't get everything they wanted. [00:27:10] No. [00:27:11] And we're their crash dummy, this dumbass country. [00:27:15] So they're going to crash their dummy. [00:27:16] In case you haven't noticed, Israel keeps sabotaging every peace deal ever, and they did it to this one already. [00:27:25] It ain't over until the third temple's there, you know? [00:27:28] It ain't over until they rebuild that dumb shit temple. [00:27:30] What is a panic? [00:27:32] So it's okay to panic and preemptively blow up schoolgirls and lose all our bases in the Middle East and lose all remaining credibility as the good guy country who supposedly doesn't grape and eat their own children. [00:27:45] But don't panic once our stupid plan that we lied about sucks. [00:27:49] Is that what it is? [00:27:49] Oh, are you panicking? [00:27:50] Jimmy, calm down. [00:27:51] You sound hysterical. [00:27:52] Stop panicking. [00:27:53] It sounds like a panic, it sounds like a pharmaceutical pill for people who are too calm and centered. [00:27:59] Are you just waltzing through your days with no awareness of the world coming down around you? [00:28:04] Try new panicking. [00:28:05] Side effects may include you entering a state of irrational panic. [00:28:10] Yeah, or rational panic, which you should have for like the last three months, you should have had. [00:28:14] Oh, he keeps. [00:28:14] Wait, there's more to this even. [00:28:16] Oh, God. [00:28:17] Iran is largely neutralized. [00:28:19] Yank, yank. [00:28:19] The strait is reopening. [00:28:21] The war is de escalating. [00:28:23] Markets already reacting. [00:28:24] That's not a small win. [00:28:26] That's a global. [00:28:27] This is unbelievable. [00:28:28] If this is the global reset, I. [00:28:32] The global reset is now Iran is a global power. [00:28:36] That's what the reset is. [00:28:38] Iran controls the global economy right now. [00:28:43] That's what's happening right now. [00:28:46] Don't worry, Israel won't stand for it, and Dave Rubin will do his job and act like it's a win, and then Israel can do whatever sneaky shit. [00:28:52] So I think they've. [00:28:53] If I was Iran, I would keep an eye out for earthquakes and weather events. [00:28:57] If I was Iran. [00:28:59] This forces movement everywhere else. [00:29:01] Russia and Ukraine get pulled closer to. [00:29:04] A real negotiation. [00:29:06] China has to rethink twice about Taiwan when the US just proved it will apply. [00:29:10] We just took all of our military out of our pivot to Asia because of this war. [00:29:18] And you know what? [00:29:19] This war also proves that having navies doesn't matter. [00:29:24] You're playing pickup basketball, Jimmy. [00:29:26] Having aircraft carriers doesn't. [00:29:29] We had to retreat away from the coast of Iran because they could strike us whenever they wanted. [00:29:34] And they did. [00:29:34] We don't have a blue water Navy, Jimmy. [00:29:36] A blue water Navy. [00:29:38] If you quit playing pickup basketball in the middle of the game and ran home because you shit your pants and then claimed you won that game, that is roughly the equivalent of this. [00:29:48] We'll keep going. [00:29:49] The world is safer today than it was yesterday. [00:29:52] Is it? [00:29:52] And it's about to get even safer over the next few months as this locks in. [00:29:56] And yes, let's be very clear about this. [00:29:59] This happened because of Donald Trump, not the pundits, not the podcasters, not the panic merchants. [00:30:05] Trump. [00:30:05] Now comes the real opportunity. [00:30:07] With global stability improving, we can finally refocus. [00:30:12] Again, the effects of what has happened already haven't been felt. [00:30:17] They have no idea what's coming. [00:30:18] And now we can focus. [00:30:20] This is against what Trump said, which we can't afford to do. [00:30:22] Because, you know, we have to kick the military up another $1.5 trillion. [00:30:25] I don't know if you caught that news. [00:30:27] We don't have time for this shit that Dave Rubin's lying about. [00:30:30] Immigration, housing, affordability, healthcare, infrastructure, AI, rebuilding America's strength where it actually matters. [00:30:37] Yeah, none of that. [00:30:37] Trump just gave a speech where he said we can't afford to do any of that. [00:30:41] Yo, when a guy does a couple of Gotham Bringer shows and starts saying he's a former stand up comic, I should be a clue right there that he's full of shit. [00:30:48] I mean, I was in New York a long time. [00:30:50] Don't nobody know who the fuck he is? [00:30:52] Dave is a funny guy, but this is definitely the funniest thing he's ever read or said. [00:30:58] I'm sorry. [00:30:59] Yeah, he just says whatever. [00:31:00] I mean, straight face. [00:31:02] We are entering a new American era economically, technologically, and yes, even in space exploration. [00:31:07] That's what the start of a new frontier feels like. [00:31:10] Look at the region. [00:31:11] It's no longer just Israel. [00:31:12] You're seeing alignment across countries. [00:31:14] The alignment is the rest of the world coming together against Israel. [00:31:19] And technically, none of it is Israel on a legal basis. [00:31:23] Technically, none of it is. [00:31:24] You're correct. [00:31:26] What a fuck is this, bro? [00:31:29] America is Melinda Gates, and our government is Bill Gates trying to sneak antibiotics into our food after giving us chlamydia. [00:31:36] Without our knowledge. [00:31:37] That's what that is. [00:31:38] It won't work. [00:31:39] Here's another one. [00:31:40] Here's some more. [00:31:40] Here, Cattered. [00:31:42] Cattered. [00:31:42] Love it. [00:31:44] When you hear panickens, love it. [00:31:48] Oh, we're not doing woke right anymore because this one's not better than that. [00:31:52] That one sucks ass. [00:31:55] Here's another guy. [00:31:55] I don't know who this is. [00:31:57] Brillen Hollyhand. [00:31:59] Hollyhand. [00:32:00] He was the replacement for Charlie Kirk after he was murdered by his own wife in TPUSA, in my opinion. [00:32:05] Is that that guy? [00:32:06] And remember how he didn't have what it took to replace Charlie Kirk, Brylon, Holly Hand? [00:32:11] It sounds like something you made up to mock DPUSA, but no, that's what they trust. [00:32:15] Iran has caved and agreed to a ceasefire and to open the Strait of Hormuz. [00:32:20] Is every pannikin who called for the 25th Amendment to be used going to apologize now? [00:32:25] Holy cow. [00:32:26] I apologize for not bullying you with AI sooner, Brylon. [00:32:30] It's really special, an extra precious level of unrealistic expectation when someone goes on social media. [00:32:37] And demands mass apologies, right? [00:32:40] I love they're all pretending it's Trump and not Israel's orders that we're following here. [00:32:44] Fucking jerk off. [00:32:45] Bernie Sanders is personally going to present him with a free pony before he hears back from anybody else apologizing. [00:32:53] Even Benny Johnson. [00:32:55] Oh, another clause of the ordering. [00:32:57] Trump got the deal done. [00:32:58] Stock market exploding. [00:33:00] Oil prices tanking. [00:33:01] Ceasefire in play. [00:33:02] Tanking? [00:33:03] Oh, God. [00:33:04] You mean tanking? [00:33:05] You mean like the tank on my lawnmower is the only tank people can afford to fill up now? [00:33:10] You mean that kind of tanking? [00:33:12] Yes. [00:33:13] How does Jeremy manage to have the worst take? [00:33:15] And also, I don't believe it and it's insincere. [00:33:18] How does he do it? [00:33:19] How does he pull it off? [00:33:21] We won. [00:33:26] We won. [00:33:28] Here is Blue Georgia, Tom Sauer. [00:33:31] I think it's really. [00:33:32] Let's play it. [00:33:32] I don't have to read it. [00:33:33] Let's just play it. [00:33:35] Tom Sauer is a professor of international politics at the University of Antwerp. [00:33:41] Let's listen. [00:33:42] I think it's really important to keep in mind that so many of President Trump's detractors around the world and even here at home, this is the Democrats, this is the left, this is his haters around the world, they all need to read the greatest geopolitical strategy book of my lifetime. [00:33:57] It's called The Art of the Deal. [00:33:59] By Donald J. Trump. [00:34:00] Who is the artist? [00:34:01] Jackson Pollock? [00:34:03] What the? [00:34:04] And of course, now we learn that all really important deals are always signed in blood, and usually the blood of the innocent people who have nothing to do with it. [00:34:16] The government is trying to do it all the time. [00:34:17] This is amazing. [00:34:18] I haven't seen a spin cycle like this, and I don't know. [00:34:22] I gotta go. [00:34:23] Oh, Eric Doherty also jumped in. [00:34:24] Ready? [00:34:25] He says, Holy crap, Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt reveals President Trump. [00:34:30] Literally threw in the trash the 10 point plan from Iran that spread like wildfire as fake news. [00:34:35] The idea that President Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list is completely absurd. [00:34:40] This one circulating is not the one Trump said was workable for negotiations. [00:34:45] Fake news. [00:34:46] The Iranians originally put forward a 10 point plan that was fundamentally unserious, unacceptable, and completely discarded. [00:34:52] It was literally thrown in the garbage by President Trump and his negotiating many outlets in this room. [00:34:58] So there you go. [00:34:59] Listen, let's all save our opinion for when Israel violates the ceasefire. [00:35:03] We're right back to where we were. [00:35:05] Because Israel did already, and we are right back to where we started. [00:35:09] Yeah, like it's amazing that they keep commenting because the genius from the quartering, he also, last time Trump announced he won, goes, See, stupid left wingers, we won. [00:35:20] So do they forget every time this is a lie? [00:35:23] Yes, they forget every single time. [00:35:29] Thank God, though, that this is inspiring Dave Rubin's funniest work. [00:35:34] His funniest work. [00:35:35] Dave Rubin is quite amusing. [00:35:36] I mean, if the Israel of the Bible of old that some half wit thinks they're supporting was real, they wouldn't allow Dave Rubin. [00:35:45] I mean, what are you doing, dude? === Data Center Lies in Texas (15:11) === [00:35:50] So, you know, they're putting up these data centers. [00:35:52] We were talking about this with Whitney Webb, and she, you know, there's a lot of horror surrounding them. [00:35:58] A. [00:36:00] They use up all the water in the area. [00:36:03] It drives up everybody's electricity, all kinds of bad things. [00:36:08] So they tried to stop it. [00:36:10] There was one there proposed. [00:36:12] This is from Wall Street Apes. [00:36:14] This is literally insane. [00:36:15] So many people showed up to oppose a $6 billion data center in Missouri that they had to use bleachers. [00:36:23] The whole crowd yells and chants they don't want the data center. [00:36:26] Festus City Council voted to approve the data center anyway. [00:36:30] Right in their freaking faces. [00:36:34] Wow. [00:36:35] Uh,. [00:36:37] Here it is. [00:36:38] Let's listen. [00:36:38] Let's watch a little bit. [00:36:39] Here's the Festus Council approves a $6 billion data center plan despite public pushback. [00:36:46] Bill number 48. [00:37:03] So, CRG, the data center arm of area developer Clayco, hopes to build the data center on roughly 360 acres north of Highway 67. [00:37:15] And they're all chanting, vote them out. [00:37:17] Okay. [00:37:21] And they did it. [00:37:22] They proved it anyway, right in their face. [00:37:24] They don't care. [00:37:25] Look how unreasonable these people are about having their land, water, and private information and power stolen from them. [00:37:33] How unreasonable. [00:37:37] Here's another one. [00:37:38] This is the noise. [00:37:40] This is the noise coming from the hyperscale data center in Dawajiak, Michigan. [00:37:46] Residents who live nearby say they can no longer open the windows in their homes because of the noise and are very worried about their property values. [00:37:56] The data center. [00:37:56] So let's listen. [00:38:10] One resident says the noise has made him unable to open his windows in the summer and is worried about what it will do to his property values. [00:38:18] The company Hyperscale Data is planning to expand. [00:38:29] And the summertime, like I said, we like to have our windows open, and it's hard to when you're listening to that all the time. [00:38:34] Yeah, I'd worry about that, the property values, because who's going to want to, if we want to resell the house, who's going to want to buy the house with that noise? [00:38:42] No one's going to want to buy it. [00:38:44] They'll be like, nah, we ain't moving there. [00:38:46] I mean, you know, and we liked it here. [00:38:49] We've been here since 09, and we loved it here. [00:38:53] But now, I don't know. [00:38:56] Not the quiet country city living that we're. [00:39:00] We've been used to. [00:39:03] Has it done anything good for the city, do you think? [00:39:05] Having them here? [00:39:07] If it has, I don't know where. [00:39:10] I couldn't tell you where. [00:39:13] All I know is I don't even know for sure. [00:39:17] They painted it at one time and then they changed it up and they did that. [00:39:21] They put the screens up there and they just make a noise of it. [00:39:28] There's just too much noise. [00:39:30] Can you imagine living next door to that? [00:39:33] Can you imagine that? [00:39:34] You got a house, all of a sudden they do that to your neighborhood? [00:39:38] I guess you don't have to imagine it. [00:39:39] It happened. [00:39:42] It makes me sick. [00:39:44] Here is a massive 18 million square foot data center being planned north of Amarillo, Texas, along with a nuclear power plant to power it. [00:39:54] Cotton farmer says the Texas panhandle is the largest U.S. cotton producing region and water needs of the data center. [00:40:01] It's going to wipe out the cotton industry. [00:40:05] Many residents in the area rely on well water, to which will be also likely wiped out. [00:40:11] The initial agreement with the city of Amarillo supplies 2.5 million gallons per day from municipal sources under a 20 year contract. [00:40:21] They can use 912.5 million gallons of water per year. [00:40:27] That's like a billion gallons of water per year. [00:40:30] This will be devastating to the people who live there and rely on the water. [00:40:35] No kidding. [00:40:35] Well, maybe if they use the Flint, Michigan water, it will poison the company and it'll drop dead. [00:40:42] How about that? [00:40:42] Here's a cotton farmer. [00:40:44] Bring me in the Texas panhandle. [00:40:45] You might want to pay attention to this one. [00:40:47] I don't know how many of y'all have heard about Project Matador. [00:40:51] And if you have, I don't know how many of you heard all of it. [00:40:54] Because quite frankly, I've heard enough that it scares the shit out of me. [00:40:57] For those that don't know what Project Matador is, it is an 18 million square foot data center planned to be built north of Amarillo, Texas. [00:41:04] Now, the problem that I have with this place, and the reason it scares me, is the cooling. [00:41:10] Because it's not just cooling the data center itself, it's also the cooling for the nuclear power plants they're planning on building to power this place. [00:41:19] Now, the cooling for that area is going to have to come from one of two places, and both of them are underground. [00:41:24] It's either going to come from the Ogallala Aquifer or the Santa Rosa Aquifer. [00:41:29] Either way, it's going to dry up a lot of water to the south of that power plant on the southern end of the panhandle. [00:41:36] For those that don't realize, the panhandle region of Texas is the largest cotton producing region in the United States. [00:41:44] You want a quick way to put an end to that? [00:41:47] Dry up the well water, because there's a lot of us that rely on those. [00:41:50] To grow what we do, the panhandle region with irrigation, we can grow between two and four bale cotton, depending on how good your wells are and where you're at, how good your soil is. [00:42:01] You dry up those wells, we're going to go from that two to four bale region, which is about a thousand to two thousand pounds, down to about a half a bale acre, which is about 250 pounds per acre. [00:42:15] You do away with irrigation for us, and we can't grow what we grow. [00:42:20] It's also going to hurt the people. [00:42:21] That live in the rural areas that rely on well water for their homes. [00:42:28] People that live out here in the country, you dry their wells up and they don't have a choice. [00:42:31] They either have to haul water in or they have to move. [00:42:34] Period. [00:42:36] Now, this place claims they're not going to use a whole lot of water. [00:42:39] They claim that, oh, well, it's going to be a closed loop system. [00:42:43] We're just going to get a little bit of water out to start with and then we won't need any more. [00:42:49] They're going to use cooling ponds, and I've read through all their proposed plans. [00:42:53] Well, those cooling ponds, what they don't understand is West Texas is also very hot. [00:42:57] And a lot of water gets lost due to evaporation, which is why a lot of guys have done away with pivots and gone to subsurface drip irrigation to try to mitigate evaporation loss. [00:43:07] Well, when the water evaporates out of their pond, they're going to have to refill it. [00:43:12] They don't have a choice, which is going to drain more water out of the aquifer. [00:43:17] I don't know how well our politicians are paying attention to what's going on with that and all the other data centers around the area. [00:43:23] There's several, there's one being built about five miles away from where I'm standing right now. [00:43:27] I don't know how well they're paying attention to these data centers and just exactly what's going on. [00:43:32] But if they would listen to the people of Texas, especially the people of rural Texas who are affected by what these guys are doing, they would understand that we don't want these things. [00:43:41] We don't need them. [00:43:42] We don't want them. [00:43:43] They can be built in different places where they're not going to affect agriculture. [00:43:48] Now, our state lawmakers, I don't know if they're going to do anything to put a stop to this or try to pull the reins back on it and say, hey, hold on, let's investigate this a little more. [00:44:01] I don't know if they're going to do that. [00:44:02] I don't know if the guys in Washington even care. [00:44:05] Our president claims to be a friend of the farmer, claims to support what we do out here. [00:44:12] But in the same breath, is allowing places like Project Matador to be built, which is going to kill farming in the Panhandle region of Texas. [00:44:21] So I don't know what's to be done other than call your elected officials and I don't know, try to get them on board with putting a stop to this. [00:44:32] I've talked to a few guys that are running for state office, and the best response I've got from one of them was, Well, I've talked to guys, and we're planning on building a pipeline down from Kansas or Missouri, somewhere up north. [00:44:45] We're going to build it off one of the rivers, and we're going to pump river water down to the panhandle so y'all can irrigate with river water. [00:44:53] And I was nice when they told me that, and I didn't say anything. [00:44:55] I bit my tongue. [00:44:57] I hate to break it to them, but that plan was talked about 50 damn years ago. [00:45:00] It wasn't viable then, and it's not viable now. [00:45:05] A, it would cost way too much money to do. [00:45:07] B, the river level is going to fluctuate. [00:45:10] And when you're pumping that much water out of that damn river, it's going to fluctuate a lot. [00:45:15] And then you just get to the viability of the entire length of the panhandle. [00:45:19] When you get to somebody like me on the southern end of the panhandle, I'm liable to not get any water at all. [00:45:26] Like I said, a big pipeline coming down off a river, that's been talked about for a long time. [00:45:33] It'll never happen. [00:45:35] When it comes to the water here in West Texas, we have fought to protect it. [00:45:38] We fought tooth and nail in the past. [00:45:41] T. Boone Pickens, I don't know how many of y'all remember that guy. [00:45:43] I remember T. Boone. [00:45:44] Yeah, that carpetbagger came down here and planned on drilling a bunch of wells up around Amarillo and building a pipeline to pump fresh well water down to Dallas and sell it to the folks of Dallas. [00:45:54] That got shut down. [00:45:56] And last I heard, there was somebody else that was trying to do the same thing, and they pretty much told him the same thing. [00:46:01] Not no, but hell no. [00:46:04] So, why are they allowing this data center? [00:46:07] After they've shut down multiple guys that are trying to drain the water out from underneath our feet, they're allowing these guys to do it. [00:46:13] I don't know. [00:46:15] But it needs to come to a stop. [00:46:18] Water is the most precious resource we have. [00:46:20] And in an area where we don't get a lot of rainfall, we rely on that water that comes from underground to grow the crops we grow and just to sustain life out here in rural Texas. [00:46:32] So call you politicians, call you elected folks, put the bug in their ear. [00:46:37] We don't need Project Matador. [00:46:39] We need to protect our well water. [00:46:43] Good luck to you. [00:46:44] Here's from Common Dreams a big F you to big tech. [00:46:48] New Jersey residents defeated an AI center. [00:46:51] It's time to build communities, not data centers, said one local activist. [00:46:55] Well, let's see. [00:46:56] Good for them. [00:47:00] The New Brunswick, New Jersey City Council voted. [00:47:03] Wow, we've done comedy in New Brunswick. [00:47:08] New Jersey City Council voted Wednesday to cancel plans. [00:47:12] What's the date on this? [00:47:16] This is from February 19th. [00:47:20] To construct an artificial intelligence data center and instead build a new public park where the 27,000 square foot facility would have gone. [00:47:30] Artificial intelligence data centers, which house the servers and other infrastructure needed to train and power AI models, have major environmental and climate impacts as they consume massive amounts of electricity and water, as well as rare earth metals and other resources. [00:47:51] So, according to the New Brunswick patch, hundreds of people packed into Wednesday evening City Hall meeting to voice concerns that the proposed data center would send their electricity and water bills skyrocketing and that the facility would harm the environment. [00:48:08] Many people did not want this in their neighborhood, New Brunswick NAACP President Bruce Morgan said during the council meeting. [00:48:15] We don't want these kinds of centers that's going to take resources from the community. [00:48:21] The site of the Nix Data Center, 100 Jersey Avenue, is already slated for development, including 600 new apartments, 10% of which will be affordable housing units and warehouses for startups and other small businesses. [00:48:35] Now, thanks to Wednesday's vote, a park is on the agenda, too. [00:48:39] This is great news. [00:48:40] No data center, New Brunswick resident Ann Norris told Patch. [00:48:44] My kids went through the public school system. [00:48:46] We didn't pay for lunch because we have so many families under the poverty line, Norris said before taking aim at what she said was the Dearth of affordable housing approved for the site. [00:48:58] Given the economic status of the people who live in New Brunswick, I don't think 10% is really sufficient. [00:49:05] Following the council meeting, jubilant residents celebrated the data center's cancellation, chanting slogans, including The People United will never be defeated. [00:49:14] We say big F you to big tech. [00:49:17] Local organizers Ben Diazabek shouted to the crowd We say a big F you to private equity, and it's time to build communities, not data centers. [00:49:27] A data center in New Brunswick was canceled tonight when hundreds of residents showed up. [00:49:34] When we fight big tech and private equity, we win. [00:49:37] Let's watch a little. [00:49:39] They canceled it! [00:49:41] What the heck? [00:49:41] They canceled it! [00:50:11] We are going to be fighting against data centers everywhere in New Jersey. [00:50:21] We'll see each and every one of you again. [00:50:26] And we say a big fuck you to big tech. [00:50:33] We say a big fuck you to private equity. [00:50:38] And it's time to build communities, not data centers. [00:50:46] We're here today because there's a proposed data center popping up here in New Brunswick. [00:50:50] There are hundreds of concerned residents showing up. [00:50:53] People are fired up. [00:50:54] They do not want big tech in their community. [00:50:57] They do not want these data centers popping up in black and brown majority neighborhoods. === Fighting Big Tech Everywhere (02:09) === [00:51:02] It is done like that for a reason. [00:51:04] These billionaires and financiers at AMSAC Capital Management know exactly what they're doing because they are doing it everywhere. [00:51:11] So we are asking the city council tonight to do the fucking right thing and stop. [00:51:17] This data center from moving forward. [00:51:19] No! [00:51:22] No! [00:51:24] Energy rates have gone up by 20 to 30%. [00:51:28] 70% of that is being caused by data centers built in the PJM region. [00:51:34] Okay? [00:51:35] Water bills, right? [00:51:36] New Brunswick residents know water bills doubled in 2025 to handle the infrastructure. [00:51:43] It's going to go up another $10 on water and sewer this year. [00:51:47] So, this project is going to rain pills for your energy and for your water. [00:51:54] We fired up? [00:52:07] So, that's very true because the whole game is always divide and conquer. [00:52:12] And when the people do come together, they often win. [00:52:16] The problem is that the establishment knows very well how to divide and conquer. [00:52:22] And they're good at it. [00:52:24] They're good at it. [00:52:25] So that's why the message of this show is don't blame your neighbor. [00:52:31] Your neighbor is suffering under the same oligarchy you are. [00:52:34] Don't allow them to divide us. [00:52:36] What unites us is far greater than what divides us. [00:52:41] And if we don't come together, we won't have anything to fight for in a little while. [00:52:47] So fantastic. [00:52:48] That was great. [00:52:49] It's good to see that happen. [00:52:51] Sad to see what happened in Michigan. [00:52:54] So, but that's what happens if you come together. [00:52:57] Okay, boy, hopefully they do vote those people out in Michigan. [00:53:01] We'll see what happens. [00:53:05] So, this is a story from April 1st. [00:53:07] I just want to let you know, we didn't get to it, but we're getting to it now. === Divide and Conquer Tactics (03:14) === [00:53:11] So, Trump had four big defeats at the Supreme Court. [00:53:16] The biggest one, you know, he wants to get rid of birthright citizenship. [00:53:20] And so he showed up at the Supreme Court, which I'm guess, I'm pretty sure that was unprecedented to try to intimidate the justices. [00:53:28] Didn't work. [00:53:29] And then he humiliated Trump, storms out of catastrophes. [00:53:33] So, then he just stormed out. [00:53:34] That actually happened. [00:53:37] So, Donald Trump abruptly exited the Supreme Court on Wednesday after some of his own conservative justices did not appear convinced by his bid to upend birthright citizenship in America. [00:53:48] Trump made the unprecedented decision to sit in oral arguments. [00:53:52] So, I guess it was unprecedented. [00:53:55] Staring down the court's nine justices as they quizzed his lawyers on one of the most consequential constitutional questions they faced this year whether all children born in the United States can continue to automatically. [00:54:08] Receive citizenship. [00:54:10] But after less than 90 minutes of watching several of his own handpicked justices tear his arguments apart, the president abruptly left. [00:54:21] His motorcade exited the Supreme Court and zipped down Independence Avenue at about 11 25 a.m. [00:54:27] We are the only country in the world stupid enough to allow birthright citizenship, he posted on True Social after returning to the White House, ignoring the fact that dozens of countries confer citizenship at birth with no conditions. [00:54:40] So, okay, there you go. [00:54:43] So, apparently, Trump knows less about how the real world works than those people who look like an idiot during a man on the street quiz with questions like, Hey, who's buried in Grant's tomb? [00:54:53] I don't know. [00:54:54] The unknown soldier? [00:54:55] Remember, you've seen people. [00:54:57] The president. [00:54:58] That was Jay Leno used to do that. [00:55:00] That was his best segment. [00:55:02] He should just do that. [00:55:04] He should just go out Hollywood Boulevard and ask basic questions. [00:55:07] He was great at that. [00:55:09] That was great. [00:55:10] Anyway. [00:55:11] The president, who believes that the Constitution does not guarantee automatic citizenship to all individuals born on U.S. soil, sat silently as justices, including several of his own appointees, openly questioned the legal foundation of his claims. [00:55:25] At the center of the skepticism was Trump appointee Amy Coney Barrett, who pressed Trump's lawyer, John Sawyer, on the historical understanding of the 14th Amendment. [00:55:36] So his own appointees are against him on this. [00:55:39] Just keep that in mind, okay? [00:55:42] Justice Neil Gorsuch. [00:55:44] Who was also appointed by Trump, added to the pressure Sauer was faced, asking the seasoned Solicitor General, Do you think Native Americans are birthright citizens under your test? [00:55:58] I think so, he replied somewhat unconvincingly. [00:56:04] I'll have to think that through. [00:56:07] And Chief Justice John Roberts, another conservative on the bench, also had something of a mic drop moment when Sauer. Tried to make the point that we're in a new world where 8 billion people are one plane ride away from having a child who's a U.S. citizen. === Fourth Legal Loss in 24 Hours (04:01) === [00:56:25] Roberts replied, It's a new world, but it's the same constitution. [00:56:32] Well said. [00:56:35] Yeah. [00:56:37] A ruling in Trump's favor, while highly unlikely, according to legal scholars, could fundamentally redefine the meaning of citizenship in the United States, affecting as many as the quarter million children born each year. [00:56:49] Behind the legal push is John Eastman. [00:56:52] Who's that? [00:56:52] He's a conservative attorney who has long promoted a fringe theory that the Constitution does not guarantee citizenship to children of non citizens. [00:57:02] Eastman, Who was disbarred over his role in efforts to overturn the 2020 election was spotted outside the court on Wednesday. [00:57:11] And this is from the New Republic. [00:57:12] Now, even the New Republic going against Donald Trump, Trump suffers his fourth and worst legal blow in just hours. [00:57:23] So, President Trump has been dealt his fourth legal loss in less than 24 hours. [00:57:31] So, this is what's the date on this? [00:57:35] Son of a bitch, I don't have it. [00:57:39] As the federal judiciary rebukes his various abuses of presidential powers. [00:57:45] On Tuesday evening, U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta rejected Trump's claim on presidential immunity regarding his actions on January 6th, ruling that he can be held liable. [00:57:55] For the violence that day, Meta decided the FBI should really be held liable and Nancy Pelosi. [00:58:03] Meta decided that Trump's speech to his supporters at the ellipse and his communications with other officials can all be considered campaign activity. [00:58:12] The ruling allows a lawsuit from police officers and Democratic politicians to continue and opens the door to other similar lawsuits. [00:58:20] Honestly, they should sue Nancy Pelosi. [00:58:22] She admitted it was her fault, she didn't call out the National Guard, and she didn't do that on purpose. [00:58:29] It's a brutal blow for the president, who suffered three other losses just hours earlier. [00:58:35] Also, on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly allowed a lawsuit to continue against Health and Human Services, which is alleged to have illegally closed its Freedom of Information Act offices. [00:58:49] And U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss ruled that President Trump's executive order last May, ending federal funding for NPR and PBS, Was illegal, writing that the First Amendment does not tolerate viewpoint discrimination and retaliation of this type. [00:59:06] I would disagree with that judge on that. [00:59:11] Against, because, anyway, again on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Richard Leon temporarily blocked President Trump's $400 million White House ballroom construction after a lawsuit. [00:59:30] From the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which argues that Trump acted beyond his authority when he demolished the East Wing to build said ballroom. [00:59:40] March was a rough month for President Trump as his plummeting approval ratings caused by his war on Iran and immigration crackdown show these consecutive legal losses won't help either. [00:59:51] While the judiciary has certainly been pushed around by the Trump administration for years, small district level victories like these remind us of the power in basic checks and balances. [01:00:03] Wow. [01:00:04] So that's from the New Republic. [01:00:07] The New Republic. [01:00:08] Let me check something on this. [01:00:09] This article is from April 1st, just so you know. [01:00:13] Oh, that's when this is from? [01:00:14] So there you go. [01:00:17] The courts pushing back. [01:00:18] Even Trump appointed Supreme Court justices pushing back on Trump.
