And people were saying that it's it's saved democracy.
I just want to remind people that the U.S. is an oligarchy.
It is not a democracy.
So if you think you voted last night for corporate Democrats who just gave eighty five billion dollars to Nazis in Ukraine and you call that saving democracy, I have to disabuse you of that stupid idea because you don't live in a democracy.
Your democracy was stolen from you decades ago.
You know what I really when I really figured it out was when Aaron Maté was here and we watched a clip of the debate between Fetterman and Dr. Oz and they asked them about minimum wage.
And they both don't want it.
I think John Fetterman said good night.
And I think Dr. Oz said we're going to start fracking.
And somehow that and I was like, if he was a real doctor, he should have dropped everything to help John Fetterman.
Right then.

That's probably why he lost.
People are like, you're not a doctor.
If you were a doctor, you'd be helping that stroke victim instead of running against him and trying to confuse him in public.
So if you voted yesterday, this was your choice.
You got to vote for the oligarchy or the oligarchy.

will not have a place to live.
Millions won't have access to adequate health care.
And over 37 million Americans will still be living in poverty.
You know, people like to, so now it's very popular now to say that homeless people are, the problem is just drug addicts and stupid lefties with their policies that allow drug addicts to camp on.
And if they would just get rid of these stupid lefty policies, homeless people would vanish.
That's by the way, that's just the part that you see a lot, which is huge.

But the other huge part, they don't know about, they have jobs.

40% of homeless people have jobs.

And what I think one in 20% of children, I think are, can you look up what percentage of children are homeless in America?
I bet it's better.
Either 20% of children are in, 25% are in poverty or 25% are homeless.

I was like, I hope that the Democrats win again so they can't have a scapegoat to blame our lost democracy on.
And when people go to vote in two years, they'll remember the Democrats have been in complete control of government for four years and my life got worse because that's why people voted for Donald Trump, not because they were a bunch, all of a sudden half the country turned into racists, not because half the country turned into Nazis or white supremacists, but because they voted for Barack Obama twice and their lives got worse.
That's why the black and brown people in Wisconsin and Milwaukee wouldn't show up to vote for Hillary Clinton.
And they let a guy like Donald Trump win because they voted for Donald for Barack Obama and their lives got worse.
Just like, so that I agree with you.
I think it actually would be better off for the country if the Democrats remained in control of government so people could see that there is no difference in the parties, except around the edges.
Now, there was a difference in the parties around the edges, certainly when it came to COVID.
DeSantis actually approached COVID in a sane way where he did follow the science as opposed to the Democrats who pretended to follow the science.
What they were following was anything big pharma told them.
And that's exactly what the Democratic Party did.
Now, they're both beholding the big pharma, but they're, again, just around the edges and around free speech.
Now, somehow, free speech has become a right-wing cause where it used to be, like people say, free.
So now they've equated free speech with hate speech.
So if you're for free speech, they then say you're for hate speech, which is not, again, they're just, that's a sleight of hand.
And that's not true because that's all they have to run on.
They have to run on, well, we're going to talk about it in another thing about how the Democrats, they didn't run on the economy.
They didn't run on a minimum wage.
They didn't run on health care.
What they ran on was abortion because that's the only thing they had left to run on.
And saving democracy.

If they didn't leave that opening for Ron DeSantis, he doesn't exist.
And that is another example of how neoliberalism for the Democratic Party enables the far right.

So here's Jen Saki, former press secretary, now getting her corporate paycheck over at MSNBC for doing her bidding for the establishment.
She says, no races have been called yet and they won't be for a while, but just some facts for your back pocket.
Bill Clinton lost 54 House seats in 1994.
Barack Obama lost 63 in 2010 and both went on to win reelection.
So you're trying to tell me that you're trying to pretend that demented Joe Biden, who can't even get off a fucking stage after a speech, is somehow the equivalent of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama?
Is that what you're trying to tell me?
Yes, that's what she's trying to tell you.
And that's what mental maniacs, corporate mouthpieces like Jen Saki are.
As another corporate tool is able to point out Ryan Grimm, Ryan Grimm, when he gets it right, I'll tell you he got it right.
He says it's true that the Democrats got waxed in 2010, but they picked up 21 seats on Obama's coattails in 2008.
So they had more seats to lose.
Biden had reverse coattails, so the new losses compound old losses.
So the Democrats are in much worse shape.
So when Jen Saki tries to lie to you about, tries to bullshit you, she's not lie.
She's bullshitting you.
This is gaslighting, another form of lying.
And then a guy like Ryan Grimm, even he, even he, a guy who lied about force to vote and got body checked by a fucking football player on healthcare matters on Twitter.
Even this guy, even he can tell you the truth where Jen Saki can't.
Go ahead, Kurt.
Well, you know, they're saying, even a broken haircut write twice a day.

But so that's, so don't listen to that.
So it's much worse for the Democrats than you think.
I wish the Democrats would retain control of the, just like we talked about.

And I know it's hard to believe that, but that's who he is, which is why he's being protested and why people are reacting like Trumpers at a Trump rally against actual lefties who are standing up against nuclear war.
You think Bernie would stand up against nuclear war, and then you remember Bernie's been for every freaking illegal intervention.
Who is still standing around listening to Bernie that isn't utterly disappointed with him?
So these are, no, so these are just regular Democrats who now they welcome Bernie because Bernie's chaneying for Denny.
So it's like, oh, he's going to say something nice about my corporate Democrat.

It makes us better.
And Bernie Sanders is, again, is just a big hypocrite as anybody when it comes to politics because there's an anti-war protester trying to hold him accountable.
And what does Bernie Sanders do?
Does he give that guy respect?
Does he give that guy the respect he deserves and actually answer his question?
Does he fold his hands like he did when two black women took his microphone away?

The organization was set up ostensibly to fund and support progressive candidates.
It was soon taken over by Jeff Weaver, who ensured that it was not registered as a political action committee, a group that can give money directly to campaigns.
It was set up as a 501c4, a group prohibited from having direct contact with candidates and giving donations directly to candidates.
The 501c4 status allowed it to take and mask donations from wealthy donors such as Tom Steyer.
Sanders' decision to quietly solicit contributions from the billionaire oligarchs who funded the Hillary Clinton campaign and control the Democratic Party betrayed the core promise of his campaign.
Yet even as he created a mechanism to take money from wealthy donors, he continued to write at the bottom of his emails, paid for by Bernie Sanders and not the billionaires.
Eight of the 13 staffers of our revolution resigned in protest.

So that's who I was one of them.

They lied to Cornell West saying, oh, we didn't know that they were going to get together.
We didn't know that they had been petitioning us for several months, that they had gathered 50,000 signatures for me to help start a new party.
They didn't know any of that.
And it was a complete lie.
And yet that was what she said to him the day after.
I'm glad you guys are out there.
I'm glad people are pressuring Democratic politicians because they're in control of government right now and they're funding a proxy war in Ukraine that is just decimating the Ukraine people.
It's not helping them.
The United States cares about as much as the Ukraine people as we care about Iraqi people or Libyan people or Afghanistan people or Syria people or Yemeni people or Ethiopian people or our people.
That's right.
All that stuff Bernie's talking about, you know, increasing wages, health care, provide, you know, better benefits, all of that stuff.
He's participating in sending these $80 billion to Ukraine.
And now the Democrats are planning to send another 50 billion.
They're talking, they're considering sending another 50 billion before the Republicans take the House, you know?
And so Bernie Sanders is just co-signing on all of that on top of the 800 billion that we send the military industrial complex annually.
So thank God for these protesters that have started to stand up to these progressives and these Democrats and all of these pro-war politicians, a lot of them with the LaRouche movement.
Thank goodness, because this is what's necessary.
This is revitalizing and restoring the anti-war movement in this country at a time when it is desperately necessary.
Hundreds of thousands of people protested Vietnam.
They stopped Nixon from dropping atomic bombs and starting a third world war back in the early 70s.
There were hundreds of thousands of people that protested the Iraq war.
Now it's been absolutely crickets because we have Joe Biden and the Democrats.
And apparently everybody falls asleep and doesn't give a damn if we sleepwalk into a third world war funded by Nazis right on Russia's border when Democrats are in charge.
Okay, but if we stop that, is that going to raise LGBTQ acceptance?
So when Bernie's pointed his finger at you, Nick, and He knows you personally and insinuated that you're being paid by somebody to oppose war.
Like somehow it's not real.

You know, that had to really feel.
Just watching it demoralized me to watch this guy who used to be a hero of mine, just watching it crushed me.
But you actually, I've never talked to Bernie.
You actually worked with him.
He actually, he actually respected you.

And he relied on you.
And then to have him come over while you're standing up against war, to have him slander you publicly in the most disgusting way.
What Bernie Sanders just revealed is that he's willing to be as big a piece of shit as you can fucking be.
He's willing to be McCarthy.
That's what he, as he's pushing for war, he's McCarthy smearing anti-war protesters.
Bernie Sanders became the thing, the puke of a thing he's supposed to be the antidote to.

Well, certainly it was not a great night for Democrats.
As it stands, they seem to be poised to lose the House and perhaps control the Senate as well.
At the same time, it wasn't a particularly great night for Republicans who fell far short of their predicted red wave.
Their wins seemed pinned to specific candidates while voters seemed to favor overwhelmingly left-wing initiatives.
While a bit of a wash for either party, one thing is clear.
What's that?
Last night was a disaster for CNN.
What?
What do you mean?
Well, one clear signal from last night's debacle is that Donald Trump is no longer the presumed head of the Republican Party.
Candidates he endorsed lost their bids, as did candidates who loudly parroted his absurd 2020 election conspiracies.
It is clear that Donald's hold on the GOP voters is slipping away.
Well, why is that bad for CNN, Jake?
Because he made us, Jimmy.
He made us what we are today.
And in return, we made him.
All the oxygen we gave him skyrocketed to victory.
And in turn, we had something gruesome to report on every single day.
Truly a symbiotic relationship.
It's been a struggle since he's been gone, honestly.
