	Let me set up the story.
	You were at the anti-mandate rally.
	Of course, yesterday they had the big anti-mandate rally.
	And of course, the Washington Post refers to it as the anti-vaccine activist march in D.C., a city that mandates coronavirus vaccination to protest mandates, right?
	And here's the Rolling Stone.
	I'm a full anti-vaxxer now, how the conspiracists are winning over fresh code converts.
	Yeah.
	So, anyway, so now I just want to let you know, Joe Biden has been calling for unity in his inaugural address.
	He called for unity.
	He also called for unity and healing after his electrical college certifies his victory, right?
	So here we go.
	Defeat the mandate, D.C. So he wants unity.
	Well, guess what?
	About 40% of the crowd was Trumpers, about 60% hippies in drum circles.
	I don't think the establishment will like the idea of us uniting too much.
	So that's the left and right coming together under populist ideas, which is the thing they fear the most, which is the thing they have to push back against the hardest, which is why when I interviewed Magnus, the Boogaloo boy, all I did was interview him.
	I didn't join them.
	All I did was interview him so we could understand them.
	People went crazy.
	They wrote smear pieces about me.
	I trended on Twitter for three days straight.
	That's this thing that scares the shit out of the establishment more than anything, the left and the right coming together.
	And so that's what she said.
	And so after Solidarity defeats the phony culture war, we can collectively engage in this class war.
	That's what we got to get rid of the culture war so we can have a real class war.
	They see us uniting.
	Now time to start a war with Russia to divert attention.
	I thought that was very good.
	Also, the woman who got that is she's just an anti-establishment peasant seeking other anti-establishment peasants to organize the revolution.
	And someone says, any guesstimate on the crowd side, she said about 20,000 for sure.
	So even united, that would still only be a fraction of the total population.
	That's what this guy says, right?
	We'll never make it.
	We're doomed, right?
	And so I had to remind him that there's a thing called the 3.5% rule.
	And what is a 3.5% rule?
	That is that, well, nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts.
	And those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change.
	That's all you need is 3.5% of the population in the streets protesting, active, and you'll never fail.
	So that's good information.
	I'm glad that guy said that.
	So I get to tell you that.
	The rally's permit had predicted 20,000 attendance.
	This is from the Rolling Stone.
	The rally's permit had predicted 20,000 attendees, a much smaller, mostly maskless crowd.
	They're outside.
	Gathered on Sunday, filling in from the Lincoln Memorial only to the closest edge of the reflecting pool.
	This is Rolling Stone again, doing straight up big pharma propaganda, calling the people maskless.
	They're outside.
	The rally's permit had predicted.
	Oh, wait, we already got this one.
	Even so, those who made the trek to Washington on a bitter January afternoon proved this point.
	The anti-vax movement has migrated from the fringes to the mainstream due to the many who joined its ranks since the pandemic began.
	And now, by drilling down on vaccine mandates, the long-standing movement is recruiting new.
	So it's going mainstream.
	They see it's going mainstream and it scares the shit out of them that not anti-vaccine, that's not what it is.
	It's people pushing back against authoritarianism, wrong ways to handle this pandemic, and lies from the government.
	So let's bring in Max Blumenthal.
	Max Blumenthal is the editor on the investigative journalism website, The Gray Zone.
	And he was at the anti-mandate protest yesterday, was slated to speak.
	And tell us what happened, Max.
	Well, the permit went till 3:30, and at 3.30, the U.S. Park Service cut the power.
	So, you know, power to the people until the power is cut.
	Then a megaphone was brought out.
	And I was actually on stage with many of the New York organizers who were waiting to speak, along with Kwame Brown, who used to play Center for the Wizards.
	He was one of the first ex-pros to come out against the mandate.
	Tramel Thompson, who is with the Transportation Union in New York, who is vaccinated and ripped up his vaccine card in protest against vaccine passports at a rally in Albany.
	Joe Rose and some of the other New York organizers, who are all black Americans who see the passport system in terms of the civil rights struggle, and who organized the recent civil disobedience protest we saw at the Met.
	I think it was the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, where a nine-year-old girl was arrested, taken away by NYPD in handcuffs, showing how healthy children are now treated as public health threats under this biomedical security regime.
	And, you know, we were all kind of confused about what was happening, but we were waiting to present our perspective, and pretty much it turned into chaos.
	And then everyone was removed from the stage after the megaphones were brought out.
	So many speakers were not able to speak.
	I think my speech was going to be very different from some of the other speeches.
	But yeah, that's what happened.
	And, you know, just as a journalist, I still got the opportunity to see what this kind of burgeoning movement was all about.
	And what was your, what can you tell us about the, did you have a good feeling about it?
	Did it seem like it was successful?
	Did they achieve their goals?
	What do you think?
	Well, I think in some ways, Rolling Stone, which is edited by the neoconservative former Clinton operative Noah Schachman and is essentially an establishment information weapon, was correct that there is a lot of momentum there.
	And it's because people aren't out there to protest vaccines per se, the people in the crowd, the rank and file.
	The whole rally wouldn't have happened if mandates were taking place, if there weren't vaccine passports, if people didn't see the transition to this cold, soulless technocracy in a fourth industrial revolution.
	And there is that awareness in the crowd.
	The person who said, you know, 40% Trumpers, 60% hippies was kind of on to something.
	The crowd was, it was not a January 6th crowd.
	Yeah, there were let's go Brandon flags held by some people, a lot of libertarian types with don't tread on me flags, but there was not this sense of anger or desire to do violence as the crowd was portrayed in CNN.
	I think the DC Metro Police kind of created this phony scare about people running up in restaurants in D.C. and violating the vaccine passports it was a very there was a very like a fet almost a festival feeling there were many people who were in kind of you know hippie types into natural medicine natural health but for the most part there were people just working class people who were angry at the establishment and at the lies they'd been told uh people
	who felt abused and people who were ready for system change, but who were totally disorganized.
	You know, to paint this as an anti-vax movement is sort of delusional because there really isn't any clear leadership.
	Of course, RFK's group helped put this rally on and he's, you know, inspiring a lot of people or influencing them.
	But I got the sense walking around the crowd that there wasn't any clear leadership and that people were turning towards alternative media and watching Jimmy Dore because they feel just betrayed by every other form of media.
	They don't care if it's left or right media.
	They just want media that speaks to them.
	And so I was stopped like every minute by people saying they love the gray zone and not just because we've published a few critical investigations on the COVID regime, but because they love our work on imperialism and foreign policy.
	The I met people wearing free Assange hats and shirts.
	I would say the crowd was almost totally anti-war.
	If, you know, if they were welcomed into the anti-war movement or they would have filled up an anti-war rally.
	I just think we're at the precipice of something in this country and it's very difficult to define it along left, right lines.
	And I think class is a much bigger factor.
	Many of the people there were people who were hurt by the lockdowns.
	Small businesses were destroyed.
	Many of the people there are people who had, were more affected by vaccine mandates than the laptop class who work as freelancers and stay at home.
	And many of them who spoke on stage took the vaccine either because they had to, to maintain their jobs or because they thought it was the right thing to do.
	And they were injured.
	You know, there was a young adolescent girl named Maddie, I believe, who is now partially paralyzed.
	You had Kyle Miller there who was a professional mountain biker who got pericarditis and his career was ended.
	So many people have just been personally affected.
	The firefighters, the whole thing was just filled with firefighters from across the country who don't want to have to take a booster shot every five months.
	They just want to continue saving lives.
	And the speakers were completely diverse.
	Yeah, there were some right wing speakers for sure.
	But for the most part, the speakers were just very difficult to define.
	And many of them were howling on stage about a system that puts profits before people.
	I mean, that was something I constantly heard from the stage.
	Well, it's a good thing there were right wingers there in a sense, because if it's just left wingers, they can just ignore you.
	And as they do, and they always do.
	But when it's left wingers, centrists, libertarians and right wingers, very much harder to demonize that group.
	And it's very harder, much harder to dismiss them.
	But although they try, it's not working because the tide is turning and they know it.
	And that's why they're ramping up.
	And but again, Joe Rogan is bigger than they are.
	I get on stage in comedy clubs and I talk about Joe Rogan.
	People love him.
	People love him.
	And it's not it's not like shit lib Twitter.
	It's not like shit lib Facebook.
	It's not like CNN and MSNBC.
	It's not.
	It's totally different.
	The real world is much different than this corporate controlled social media world that we're living in.
	The real world that we actually live in is more to our thinking and to Joe Rogan's.
	Did you have a speech?

	Yeah, I mean, might as well not go to waste.
	I got it written down.
	I mean, you wrote it.

	Well, you know, I wasn't I wasn't even planning on talking about the vaccine per se in my speech.
	To me, this is about so much more.

	And of course, I never had said a word about vaccines, positive or negative, until the mandates came in.
	And I would bet the majority of people at that march are kind of the same.
	And that's the that's the mischaracterization of this as an anti-vax movement.
	Like these aren't people.
	Some of the some of the speakers, organizations have raised questions about the MMR vaccine, for example.
	But they wouldn't have had a crowd.
	There wouldn't be these rallies in D.C. or around the world.
	If it wasn't for the mandate.
	If people weren't having this if people weren't having this imposed on them and then being reduced to a QR code.
	And having their participation in society conditioned on their compliance with every single mandate.
	So that's what this is about.
	So go ahead.
	Let me hear your speech, brother.
	Sure.
	And by the way, I'm in an airport.
	So if I get arrested in the middle of this rant.
	OK.
	But.
	You know, I come at this issue from the left.
	I come from the left.
	And it's really unfortunate that some people on the left don't want me to be here today.
	So I just want to make one thing clear.
	When people all around the world are marching against the mandates in their own societies, from the indigenous Bolivians of El Alto and La Paz, to Moroccans of Casablanca, to Iranians in Tehran, from Beirut to Berlin to Boston, it's pretty clear that this is not a left-right issue.
	This is not about left and right.
	This is about our rights, our basic rights that we fought for.
	this is about decent working people trying to hold on to their humanity their bodily autonomy their rights and their very sanity against a cold and ruthless corporatist machine that seeks to reduce every individual to a QR code and condition their participation in society on their compliance with a mandate and it won't be the last mandate.
	Now let me make something clear to my friends on the right, because I hear this a lot.
	The extra constitutional biomedical regime being imposed on us is not socialism.
	It's not socialism.
	If we lived under actual socialism, we the people would control the means of production and we would be able to expropriate the pharmaceutical industry and frog march the CEOs of Pfizer, Moderna, and the Sackler family at Purdue Pharma, often handcuffed to federal prison.
	In reality, when big pharma and its investors control our governments, when they own the FDA, when they've turned our politicians into sales reps, so now Pfizer and Moderna make combined profits of $65,000 per minute while working class Americans suffer the sharpest increase in poverty in 50 years.
	When the wealth of the world's 10 richest men has doubled since the lockdowns began, while the wealth of the global 99% has declined precipitously, we are living under corporatism, not socialism, corporatism, under a ruthless imperialist corporate state that exists in a permanent state of war.
	And now the forever war has come home.
	And it shouldn't be surprising to those who know this corporate state that bombs and sanctions people across the globe in the name of human rights, that it would instantly lock down millions of people at home, depriving them of work and schooling, driving them into desperation and insanity, and to justify all that in the name of public health.
	See, the same corporate state that lied about weapons of mass destruction to manufacture consent for a war in Iraq had no problem lying about gain of function research sponsored by the Pentagon's DARPA Research Unit and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
	The same corporate state that's holding journalist and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange a political prisoner because he exposed its secrets, has set about to censor and demonize and blacklist and suppress every dissenting voice that gets in the way of its draconian biomedical agenda.
	So a corporate state with so little legitimacy must divide its citizens to conquer them.
	And that's why it's polarized us between the vaccinated and unvaccinated, scapegoating the latter group and blaming it for its own failures in order to shatter the solidarity of the 99%.
	This corporate state has given us two corporate parties, hundreds of corporate media outlets brought to you by Pfizer, the arms industry, and Wall Street, and only two medical options when it comes to the coronavirus: Pfizer and Moderna.
	So here's my message to the corporate state and its media stenographers.
	COVID might have temporarily taken away our sense of smell, but we can smell the steaming pile of bullshit that you're cooking, and we're not buying it.
	That's my speech.
	That's the speech I would have delivered if I could have.
	And I think it would have shut things up.
	That was a great speech.

	Very, very gripping, very stirring, right on point.

	And hopefully we won't need any more, but I have a feeling we're going to because it doesn't seem like they're letting up on these vaccine passports.
	But you know, only 30% of the people who got the first two shots, only 30% of those people got the booster.

	That's the number I saw.
	What number have you seen, Max?
	I'm pretty sure you're on point.
	Actually, Biden in his marathon press conference was asked about why he didn't change the definition of fully vaccinated.
	And he's asked, would that be because you're afraid the numbers would go down so precipitously?
	And he just dodged the question because it's obvious.
	And, you know, they're going to authorize vaccination for age two to four.
	And you're going to see parents just turn their backs on this in droves.
	Yeah, well, two-thirds of parents were already hesitant to give their children a vaccine.
	And so they really ramped up the fear-mongering around it, making people think that kids were actually somehow super vulnerable to COVID when they're less vulnerable to COVID than they are from the flu.
	And so there you go.
	So now you're on your way to.
	No, what?
	Do you think we'll ever get past people calling us anti-vaxxers?
	In a sense, I kind of hope they don't, because then it just is going to wreck that term altogether.
	And that's what I'd like to see happen.
	Just like when they were calling Bernie Sanders a sexist, it doesn't really mean anything after that.
	If you call Trump a sexist and Bernie Sanders.
	So do you think that's happening?
	Or what's your Jill Stein an anti-vaxxer in 2016?
	Yes.
	Yeah.
	I mean, doing this for a while.
	And I saw some rad libs on Twitter calling me an anti-Semite for participating in the rally or just being at the rally.
	And that's another term that's been completely worn out to the point where real anti-Semites actually can just deflect by saying, well, you've taken all the meaning out of that term.
	So it's nothing.
	I mean, the more these people get called anti-vaxxers and the more that term is associated with extremism and criminality, the more people will just, you know, their anger, their righteous anger will increase, and the more they'll reject establishment media.
	I mean, it's already so totally discredited.
	So, but I see it as a cop term in a lot of ways.
	The Department of Homeland Security issued a terror warning in September, right ahead of 9-11, based on no active plots.
	And one of the groups they said could commit terrorist attacks was those who have criticized government COVID policy.
	And then we saw the coverage of the anti-mandates rally where the police were saying, you know, anti-vaxxers are going to attack restaurants in our city completely, based on no actual information.
	Complete horseshit.
	So it's becoming kind of like a term thrown around by a lot of rad libs and centrists that appeals to authority for a kind of crackdown on a real threat to the establishment whose grievances go well beyond a vaccine.
	Got you.
	Now you're on your way to Nicaragua?

	And just vacation?
	I definitely would like to get out of here for a little while, see some friends, and I do want to check in on what's happening there since their election.
	Things have changed a lot.
	And Daniel Ortega was just inaugurated.
	He signed a major trade and development deal with China.
	The political opposition that staged a violent coup attempt in 2018 has basically been vanquished.
	The U.S. is sanctioning Nicaragua, is targeting it.
	And right next door in Honduras, a leftist or left-of-center president is being sworn in, Siomara Castro.
	So it's a really interesting time in the region.
	And so, you know, it'll be interesting to check in.

	Now, I thought when he said that, that this was a lefty saying he didn't want to join with the Trumpers.
	That's what I thought.
	So I said, the enemy is the oligarchy, not your neighbor, who is also desperate and oppressed by the oligarchs.
	He comes back, says it's not enough for COVID policies to end.
	But he responded by saying that he saw AOC and Joe Biden and anybody who votes for those people as his enemy.
	And that's just a mistake because the people who are voting for those people are voting for the same things that you want.
	They want a living wage.
	They want to end the wars.
	They want health care that doesn't drive them bankrupt.
	They want education.
	They want clean water.
	They want affordable housing.
	Everybody wants the same things.
	And they got us fighting each other instead of fighting the people who are keeping us from those same things.

	And over the weekend, Bill Maher made a case for people who are vaccinated, boosted, and have been following the rules since all of this started.

	Because kids have a lower risk from COVID than they do from the flu.
	Kids' risks from serious illness and death from COVID is so low, it can almost not be calculated.
	So again, Whoopee Goldberg, just like everybody who's crazy about this, COVID, and upset at people who aren't vaccinated or whatever, don't know anything about the science involved in this.
	None.
	They just know the propaganda that came right from a criminal named Anthony Fauci.
	And that's not hyperbole.
	Anthony Fauci's a fucking criminal who should be in jail and who has lied repeatedly to us about COVID, what we should do about it, how we should handle this, the seriousness of it, the whole thing.

	And Whoopee Goldberg doesn't know her asshole from a hole in the ground.

	She thinks voting for Joe Biden makes her a good person.
	And so she doesn't know anything about kids, but that's the first thing she says is, oh, that's not funny.

	Jimmy, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think statistically more kids die every year from not selling enough lemonade to cover brain surgery.

	Lust family members or dear friends to this.
	It's just, you know, listen, nobody.
	Yeah, comedy, you don't ever, you're not supposed to use comedy for the dark stuff.
	You need comedy to make fun of stuff like when you go to Disneyland.
	That's exactly what you need comedy for, proving that Whoopi Goldberg was never funny, isn't funny, and will never know what comedy actually is.
	You don't need comedy to lift Your spirits after a day at the beach.
	You need comedy to fuck so you can laugh at the shit that scares the hell out of you so you don't walk around shitting your pants all day.

	Something that is never ever going to happen.
	And by the way, it was never ever going to happen.
	So these people who I still encounter today in January 2022 still say to me that, well, if everybody would have just locked down like they were supposed to and wore their masks like they were supposed to, and if they would have just got the vaccine like they were supposed to, we could have eradicated this.
	This is a worldwide virus and there is no way to eradicate this virus.
	There never was.
	It's never going away and it's going to be here forever.
	So if you thought that, you were lied to.
	And now you've internalized that, which is why you hate other people instead of being angry at the establishment that is inflicting the pain.
	If lockdowns worked, we would have got rid of this.
	By the way, they're not giving the vaccine to poor countries.
	So that guarantees the virus will always, again, it's always going to be no matter if everybody in the world got vaccinated, the virus would never go away.
	This is not that kind of a vaccine.
	It's not like a vaccine for smallpox.
	It's not like the vaccine for meat.
	This is not what this is.
	This vaccine is a non-sterilizing, leaky vaccine, which means when you get the vaccine, you can still transmit the virus and you can still contract it to the point where Dr. Fauci is now saying everyone is likely to contract the virus.
	Can you turn that off?
	It's amazing that the doctor they banned off Twitter at Malone was saying this stuff that they're saying now.
	And that's why he's in trouble.
	That's why he's in trouble.
	He was saying the exact thing that Fauci and the head of the FDA is now saying that everyone is that the virus is ripping through Omicron and the vaccine doesn't provide you that great a protection against Omicron to the point where everyone's going to get likely going to get the virus now.
	By the way, it was never true that if everybody got vaccinated, we could get rid of the virus.
	Fauci lied about that, about herd immunity.
	He lied about it.
	Just like he lied about masks, just like he lied about funding gain of function, just like he lied about the origin of the virus when he said the idea that it came from a lab in Wuhan was a conspiracy theorist.
	That was also a lie.
	Okay, there's more to this.
	On the planet really wants to go through this.
	This is not something we're doing because it's sexually gratifying.
	This is what we're doing to protect our families.
	And you don't have to do it, but stay away from everybody.
	Because if you're the one who's.

	You can be triple vaccinated, quadruple vaccinated.
	You can still get the virus and you can still infect others.

	Goldberg explained that it was a shock seeing as she was triple vaxed and had not been anywhere or done anything outside her home.

	She probably got it on the view from other vaxed guests.
	That you probably got it on the view.
	Because even if you're vaccinated, you could still obviously catch it and obviously transmit it.

	Goldberg then reflected on the pandemic, saying, now here we go, more misinformation.
	She's saying that COVID-19 isn't going anywhere unless people get vaccinated and boosted.
	Hey, Whoopee, it's not going anywhere no matter how many people get vaccinated and boosted.
	The virus is never going away.
	This vaccine is not a sterilizing vaccine.
	It doesn't work that way.
	And you don't know that because you're stupid on purpose because your paycheck is signed by big pharma.

	And your fucking sanctimony and your self-righteousness is just that bullshit.

	Because you're wrong 100%.
	And why don't you start being angry at the fucking oligarchs who are understaffing our hospitals right now and cutting our ICU beds?

	And so, and if you're vaccinated, you can still transmit the virus and you can still contract the virus.

	And because you don't, I mean, you know, you never heard of polio breakthrough cases.

	I mean, do you hear of them?
	I've never heard of one.
	Maybe you hear of them, but I've never heard of them.
	I've heard of breakthrough cases all the time.
	In fact, I know everyone's going to get a breakthrough case of COVID because everyone's going to get Omicron.
	That's according to Fauci.
	And that's according to the FDA head.

	And the lockdowns cause more harm than good.
	And they certainly didn't stop the virus because now everybody is admitting you can't stop the virus.
	The virus is going to be here forever and everybody is likely going to get it.
	So mandates, vaccine passports, they make no sense.
	Because if you're going to get it, who do you care if you get it from an infected, from a vaccinated person or an unvaccinated person?
	You're all going to get it.
	So UK lifts, and it doesn't make sense anyway, right?
	Because as someone just said on this show, you can be triple vaccinated and have no symptoms and still have COVID and be transmitting it because you're an asymptomatic spreader.
	So UK lifts COVID restrictions, says Omicron wave has peaked.

	Face masks will no longer be mandatory in public places and COVID-19 passports will be dropped for large events as infection level off in most parts of the country, said Boris Johnson over in the UK.
	Johnson told lawmakers that the restrictions were being eased because government scientists think it is likely that the surge of infections prompted by the highly contagious Omicron variant has now peaked nationally.
	Okay, what they're saying yesterday in the Washington Post was that half of Europe is going to catch Omicron in the next six to eight weeks.
	Go ahead, Kurt.
	How much is you think it was based on science?
	Really based on Boris Johnson getting caught with his no mask party and now they can't keep it up.

	But that's more than the science by a lot.

	So this is, again, all these policies that we've been seeing lately from the CDC and from Fauci and now from Boris Johnson in the UK, they seem based on politics, not really based on science, because the science hasn't changed.

	White hospital, while hospitals in northern England still are getting pressed by high caseloads and infections were still rising in schools.
	Johnson said hospital admissions and patients and intensive care units elsewhere in England were stabilizing or falling.
	The government is no longer advising people to work from home and compulsory face masks will be scrapped in secondary school classrooms starting Thursday.
	Everyone is going to get Omicron.
	Everyone, no matter how many days you don't go to work, no matter how many days you don't go to school, no matter how many cloth masks you wear, you are still likely to get Omicron.
	Everyone.
	So go to work and go to school.
	And when you feel sick, don't go to school and don't go to work, just like normal.
	Mandatory COVID-19 passes will not be needed to gain entry to large-scale events beginning January 27th.
	Face masks will no longer be legally required anywhere in England as of that day.

	I can't wait to hear Howard Stern complain about this.

	Will we trust the judgment of the British people and no longer criminalize anyone who chooses not to wear one, Johnson said?
	Official figures show that COVID-19 infections have dropped in most parts of the UK for the first time since early December.
	The government reported 108,000 new cases on Wednesday, about half the daily number recorded over the holidays.
	The requirement for those infected to self-isolate for a full five days remains, but Johnson said the measure will also end in the coming weeks.
	He said while the self-isolation rules expires on March 24th, he will seek to scrap it earlier if the virus data continues to improve.
	Johnson and Health Secretary Sajid Javid both, quite a name.
	It's like he's the Chris Christie of the UK.
	Sajid Javid both suggested that the government is planning for a post-pandemic period when it can treat COVID-19 More like the flu.
	Look out.
	That'll get you kicked off YouTube a couple months ago.
	There will soon come a time when we can remove the legal requirements to self-isolate altogether, just as we don't place legal obligations on people to isolate if they have the flu.
	Because Omicron, if you remember, is presenting as a very mild form of COVID.
	Some people are calling it a cold.
	Scotland and Wales, which set their own public health rules, have also announced similar easing of restrictions.
	So the tide is turning.
	Al Jazeera reports that Ireland to drop almost all COVID restrictions.
	Look how happy they are.

	Ireland gets there's drunk.
	That's why.
	Ireland is to scrap almost all its COVID-19 restrictions on Saturday after coming through the storm of the Omicron variant that led to a major surge in infections, Prime Minister Michael Martin said.
	Ireland had the second highest incidence rate of COVID-19 in Europe just last week, but also one of the continent's highest uptake of booster vaccines, which has helped keep the number of seriously ill people well below the previous peak.
	Maybe the number of seriously ill people are well below the previous peak because Omicron isn't as serious as a fucking virus as Delta.
	Why are you lying?

	We have weathered the Omicron storm, Martin said in Friday's televised address in which he said booster vaccines had utterly transformed the situation in the country.

	The country has been one of the most cautious in the European Union on the risks of COVID-19, putting in place some of the longest-running restrictions on travel and hospitality.
	But following advice from public health officials, the government decided that bars and restaurants will no longer need to close at 8 p.m.
	Because, you know, the virus does it only goes out at night.

	A restriction put in place last year when the Omicron wave struck to ask customers for proof of vaccines.
	And asking customers for proof of vaccination around Omicron makes zero sense, doesn't it?

	Capacity in indoor and outdoor venues is also set to return to full capacity, paving the way for full crowds next month's Six Nations Rugby Championship.
	Some measures, such as the need to wear a mask on public transport and in shops, will remain in place until the end of February.
