Hey, we're doing live stand-up shows in Los Angeles on the 7th and 14th of January.
And then we're going to be in Raleigh, North Carolina and Philadelphia.
Go to jimmydoorcomedy.com for a link for all tickets.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Hey, Jimmy, this is President Joe Biden.
Hope you're enjoying what day is it, week?
It's Wednesday, Mr. President.
Oh, check out Calendar McDay planner over here.
Let me guess, you're not moon downing either.
No, no, I'm not.
Show off.
How was your Christmas, buddy?
It was great.
Christmas with a new dog is always nice.
Commandant.
Just peeing and crapping everywhere.
It's hilarious.
The grandkids love it.
I bet they do.
I bet they do.
James Madison sat in that chair and wrote something important.
And now there's dog crap on it.
That's just that just makes me laugh, man.
Anything non-fecal fun thing happened with you?
I don't remember.
Oh, but Harry Reed died.
Very sad.
I was very pleased to work with him over the years.
The backbone on that man.
Tempered steel.
Strongest political backbone I've ever seen.
Tough as nails.
Uh-huh.
A real tough bird, you're saying, huh?
Nah, he couldn't fly.
Okay.
Well, Christmas is over.
What's next on your agenda?
The country's facing some problems right now.
Well, Vladimir Putin wants to talk on the phone tomorrow, so I'm going to talk to Vladimir Putin.
Well, how's your relationship with President Putin?
Very good.
A lot of people say he likes to toy with us, but in my experience, he's one of those guys.
If you're a straight shooter with him, he's going to be a straight shooter right back.
Oh, really?
Is that so?
Yes.
I remember the last time we spoke.
He says to me, he says, he says, hey, did those two dudes come up to you the other day?
And I said, no, who?
And he said, Days nuts.
Which I was later told is Russian for, I am sending two high-level diplomats to Washington to negotiate directly with the State Department to resolve our issues.
Okay.
Now, those two dudes never showed up, but I appreciated the gesture.
He's not toying with anybody.
Straight shooter.
Okay, what about the shortage of COVID tests?
Look, man, we never saw this coming.
I saw footage of those lines of people waiting to get tested.
I was like, holy shit.
Look at that.
This is on the governor's now, Jack.
Hey, many people saw this as an abdication of duty.
Look, people got mad when I said that there isn't a federal solution.
They thought I meant that the federal government wasn't going to do anything anymore.
That's ridiculous.
Of course, it's going to.
But it is a technically true statement.
What do you mean?
Because there isn't any solution to this, it doesn't seem.
So, yeah, there's no federal solution.
There's no state solution.
There's no municipal solution.
There's no Muppet movie solution.
It's just part of fucking Earth now.
But why did you say it?
Because, yeah, I'm going to pass the buck to the states for a bit.
Because I fucked up.
I didn't get enough tests out there.
Even though I said I was going to.
I focused on the vaccines because those are sexy and people thought they were going to wipe COVID off the earth.
We backburned our testing and now we're paying the price.
We sure are.
No, I meant my administration, PR-wise.
Oh, okay.
So, yeah, I passed a bucket and high-tailed it to Delaware so Commandant could take a shit on the beach.
And boy, oh boy, did he ever.
You know, that made a lot of people feel very abandoned, right?
Well, there's no federal solution for how people choose to feel.
Okay, great.
Look, Fat to people worried about the COVID virus and the lack of available testing plaguing our system.
I have this to say.
Yes.
We are going to get to the bottom of what happened on January 6th of this year.
We will leave no stone unturned, and I can say with some confidence that a preliminary report will be presented by Congress sometime in mid-2022.
You have my word.
Wow.
Thanks, Mr. President.
Hey, you're welcome.
Hey, look, I gotta go.
I'm in Delaware, which means it's time to relax.
That's what Delaware is for, as everybody knows.
Jimmy, have a happy new year and get tested for Christ's sakes.
All right.
Well, guess what?
It's a big day.
Well, it wasn't today.
It was a couple days ago.
Brian Regan, Brian Williams.
Brian Williams retired from the MSNBC News.
And why was he at MSNBC news?
Because he got fired from the NBC News because he was doing what they call stolen valor.
He was pretending he was in war and he wasn't.
Right?
He's pretending he got shot at, all this stuff.
It's called stolen valor.
You can't do it.
It wasn't like he put on a uniform and pretended.
That's really worse.
But that would have been funny had he did.
Like, no, I was actually a captain.
So, network, what is this?
Network says actions of TV News Anchor were wrong and completely inappropriate.
And he's being taken off the air without pay.
How did he make it?
How did he make it for those six months without pay?
How did he do it?
Now, the thing I remember about Brian Regan, I keep saying Brian Regan, Brian Williams, is when we bombed Syria.
This was his reporting.
I'm guided by the beauty of our weapons.
And they are beautiful pictures.
Wait a minute.
What?
He said, I'm guided?
Is that how he started that?
He said, I'm guided by the beauty of their weapons.
Here we go.
I'm guided by the beauty of our weapons.
And they are beautiful pictures.
Hang on.
I'm guided by the beauty of our weapons.
And they are beautiful pictures of fearsome armaments making what is for them a brief flight over to this airfield before they hit it before it blows the shit out of some people and their arms go legs go flying in different directions.
It is beautiful.
The power.
It's real beautiful on the front end.
Yes.
Well, so I used to have a joke about, you know, that the difference between Al Jazeera and CNN is CNN shows the bombs taking off and Al Jazeera shows you when they land.
That dude, that's out of 1984 where you got to go to the movie to watch the weapons.
And then he writes his diary.
There was a lovely scene of someone exploding.
So that was that's that's who Brian Williams really is.
He's just a mouthpiece for capitalism, military industrial, whoever is paying him.
He's just a mouthpiece for it, and he always will be.
I look forward to, so now here he is.
He's retiring and he gives his big speech.
And my theory of why he's retiring is because he wants to go host a late-night show.
He's not quitting, believe me.
You're going to see him in like February or March hosting his own talk show.
Maybe because Ellen's getting moved out.
They want to move him into the afternoon.
Who knows?
Something's going on.
He's not walking away from fucking show business, believe me, because that's what this is.
He's not a newsman.
He's in show business.
That's what that is.
You don't get the news from MSNBC.
You get propaganda from a guy who's in show business.
He's going to be the new Jimmy Fallon sidekick.
I bet.
Okay, so here we go.
Here's what he said.
Well, look at the time.
I'll try to keep this brief.
After 28 years of peacock logos on much of what I own, it is my choice now to jump without a net into the peacock logo is on everything I own.
I even branded it onto my scrotum like a Nexium cult.
NBC didn't ask me to do it.
They didn't have to.
Jesus.
All right, here we go.
Well, look at the time.
I'll try to keep this brief.
After 28 years of peacock logos on much of what I own, it is my choice now to jump without a net into the great unknown, as I do for the first time in my 62 years.
My biggest worry is for my country.
The truth is, I'm not a liberal or a conservative.
I'm an institutionalist.
What?
He's not.
I'm not a liberal or a conservative.
I'm an institutionalist.
What?
What do you believe in?
I believe in this place.
You believe in this place.
You believe in NBC.
That's what you, that's where you're not a liberal or a conservative.
You worry for your country, but you believe in a corporation built on war profits and gouging people and slave land.
What are you?
What are you?
I salute the logo of the peacock of the mighty peacock.
The mighty peacock.
This is I. Lake of our weapons guides me.
That's right.
The beauty tales.
Wait, I bet those weapons were made by General Electric that used to own NBC.
It's that, which is why they were pro-Iraq war, because they were owned by war profiteers.
And they fired Phil Donahue because he was against the war.
He believes in that place.
The place that fired Ashley Banfield, the place that fired Phil Donahue, the place that fired Jesse Ventura because they had a counter narrative to fucking imperialism and war, illegal wars.
They fired them.
That's the place he believes in.
Wait, Ashley Banfield?
Yes.
Google that stuff for me.
Ashley Banfield.
So the MSNBC and she ended up going to CNN.
I'm pretty sure she got fired.
I did her show on something that wasn't on any of those.
And her name sounded familiar.
I wonder if that's what I'm remembering.
MSNBC, Ashley Banfield.
See if what comes up.
I'm pretty sure.
I hope I didn't get the name wrong because it was such a nice, passion-filled little rant I was on.
So, hey, Surrey, Ashley Bamfield worked for MSNBC?
Oh, do you know she also said that Katie Couric derailed her career?
Yeah.
She said that she said that just in October of this year.
Wow.
No kidding.
Let's start from the top.
Well, look at the time.
I'll try to keep this brief.
After 28 years of peacock logos on much of what I own, it is my choice now to jump without a net into the great unknown, as I do for the first time in my 62 years.
For the first time in my 62 years, I'm not going to be on television and I'll be a non-entity.
I'm jumping without a net.
From now on, I'll be telling just my own lies as opposed to a mix of my controller's lies and my own.
First time in 62 years.
God bless him.
I'm an institutionalist, a human bank, a zero, a cipher, a Muppet, a tool, a construct, an empty suit, a sausage wallet, the man who wasn't there, the middle car and the human centipede, Rosemary from Rosemary's Baby.
If Rosemary was a liar, named Brian.
Obviously, you're an institution.
Let's get it.
Let's go.
My biggest worry is for my country.
Oh, it's country.
I'm not a liberal or a conservative.
I'm an institutionalist.
I believe in this place.
And in my love of country, I yield to no one.
But the darkness.
What the F, dude, why do you want to draw more attention to the fact that you got caught doing stolen valor for your country?
I yield to no one in my love of country.
Are you running for mayor?
Are you a fucking corporate-funded talking head?
What are you doing?
Are you running for what?
Look at all the flags behind him.
What are you running for?
Go ahead.
I think he means by his country, Peacock Plus, the new streaming service.
Because he's an institutionalist.
Yeah.
Because he doesn't believe in the country.
He believes in the institution.
On the edge of town has spread to the main roads and highways and neighborhoods.
It's now at the local bar.
So do you hear this shit?
The dark.
I'm going to read you with the darkness on the edge of town is now everywhere.
The darkness that used to be on the edge of town is now everywhere.
The darkness.
That sounds like an old racist senator.
Yes.
That does what it sounds like.
You know, if Brian wasn't an institutionalist, I would think he was referring to the human rights violations Americans are committing in its war on terror, coming home and being perpetrated on its own citizens.
That's what I thought.
He would be talking about the darkness on the edge of town, about how what we do to people in other countries, we're eventually going to do to ourselves.
And we're doing it now.
We're in a surveillance state right now.
Right?
We're the world's largest penal colony, right?
Isn't that amazing?
In the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Is that what he means?
That's not what he means.
That's not what he means.
What he means is your neighbor is someone you should be suspicious of, just like during the Red Scare.
You never know who's a commie, and there's a red under every bed and around every corner.
And that's what he's fucking doing.
Be afraid of your neighbor, Brian Williams Says.
It's everywhere.
Everywhere.
You can't trust anybody.
Doesn't he sound like Kent Brockman from the old Simpsons back when it was still good?
I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords.
I didn't watch enough Simpsons, I guess.
This place, and in my love of country, I yield to no one.
Shut up.
Darkness on the edge of town has spread to the main roads and highways and neighborhoods.
It's now at the local bar and the bowling alley at the school board and the grocery store.
And it must be acknowledged and answered for.
Grown men and women who swore an oath to our constitution.
What?
It has to be acknowledged and answered for.
At the bowling alley?
What?
The bowling alley's being radicalized.
This is fear-mongering 101.
He does it like he's the Mr. Concerned Adult when he's anything but that.
Brian Williams is a liar for money.
Anybody who pays him, he'll say whatever they tell him to.
But he's really worried about our country because now there's a darkness that's around every corner.
It's in the bowling alleys.
Grown men and women who swore an oath to our Constitution, the elected by their constituents, possessing the kinds of college degrees I could only dream of, have decided to join the mob and become something they are not.
Do you hear what he's doing?
So his retirement speech is all about dividing the country.
It's all about how half the country are all fucking maniac.
They went to college.
They're smarter than me, he's saying.
By the way, Brian Williams never finished college.
And why he said I could only dream about is because he didn't have the internal fortitude to finish a four-year fucking degree program because he's a lazy fucking clout chasing narcissist.
That's why he ends up as an entertainer instead of a newsman.
He sounds like Steve Carell from Anchor Man.
Yes.
He's brick.
Yes.
Brick Hamlin.
These people with college degrees who are elected to represent their constituents to fight the system are actually starting to pretend to side with their constituents against the system.
And this has to be answered for.
That's what he's afraid of.
The plebes are getting control of things.
They're fucking up the roof.
The gears.
They voted for Trump.
They mucked up the gears.
Okay.
Hoping we somehow forget who they were.
They've decided to burn it all down with us inside.
That should scare you to no end.
This is hilarious.
Did anyone proofread this?
That should scare you to no end.
And I'm going to put, I'm going to stop that rumor that the news media is here to scaremonger you.
Oh, I'm sorry.
What did I say?
I said it should scare you to no, you should be scared all the time.
That's all they have left.
If all they've ever had is fear.
Because they're not going to give you the news and information about the oligarchs who pay them who are screwing you that you actually need.
They're not going to tell you the information you actually need because the people who don't are screwing you are the ones paying them.
That's why you're never going to.
And that's all they, this is amazing.
That's all he can do is divide and scare the shit out of you.
Brian Williams is like the guy.
He's like the exact opposite.
Remember that movie Network?
Remember where the guy got up and he went to the window and I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore.
Brian Williams is going to tell you to go to the window and say, I'm going to take it anymore.
I'm going to.
I want you to all go to the window and say, I'm going to take it anymore.
People smarter than me have decided what's best.
And I'm not going to read their leaked emails because that would be rude and it scares Brian.
Listen to this scare.
I want to play this again.
Something they are not while hoping we somehow forget who they were.
They've decided to burn it all down with us in.
Aren't we supposed to forget who you were, Brian?
Isn't that why you had to go out of suspension?
Because we were because you wanted us to forget who you were.
His fucking speech to retire is all about hating half the country.
Yes.
Before I go.
Before I go, I just want to let you know I hate half the country.
And you should too.
Forever.
Forever.
And they should have to answer for shit at the bowling alley.
Don't let it go for one second.
This is unbelievable.
They've decided to burn it all down with us inside.
That should scare you to no end as much as it scares an aging volunteer fireman.
To my co-worker.
So I guess he's a volunteer fireman.
Does that mean him?
Yes.
I guess that's him.
So he was a war hero and he's a fireman.
I'm sniffing some more stolen valor.
I heard he was a dinosaur ninja, too.
He did a lot of really cool stuff.
You know, if Brian Williams ever actually fought a fire, he would never stop talking about it.
Ever.
So I don't think he ever actually fought a fire.
Did you ever read Fahrenheit 450?
Oh, he'd be that kind of.
Yeah.
Yeah, he lights the information on fire.
Yeah, he's the, he's the, if he, it makes sense if you think of him as a fireman from Fahrenheit 451, where he burns all the books.
That's that'd be Brian Williams.
We don't need that information.
That's there's my love and thanks.
And I say again, everyone I've worked with has made me better at what I do to my family.
I want to thank the, I want to thank the sponsors and certainly the matrix on which I live.
Love and thanks doesn't begin to cover it, but now I have the time to better express it.
My friends know who they are.
No one's been blessed with better friends.
To the guests on this broadcast, as you heard the nice man say a few minutes ago, it's always been about you.
Otherwise, I'd be staring into the camera for an hour, five nights a week, and nobody wants to see that.
That's actually what you do.
Yes.
That would be better.
What is he talking about?
That's what you do.
You stare into a camera for an hour, five nights a week, and you talk.
There's no audience there.
It's a camera.
Just like me right now.
I'm talking into a camera.
There might be millions of people who are going to watch this, but they're not here.
I'm staring into a camera.
That might have been the craziest thing he said the whole thing.
Well, if it wasn't for them, I would have been staring into a camera for an hour, five nights a week, and nobody wants that.
No, that's what you did.
Go ahead, Kurt.
Well, I mean, there's a crew.
Maybe that's what it is.
Maybe.
I don't know.
Anyway, here we go.
You are the 11th hour and will continue to be the 11th hour.
This is where I thank you, however, for being so great for explaining these last five years.
As a proud New Jersey native.
He explained.
He explained to you these last five years.
What Dave, you turn to me, I'll explain to you what these last five years are about.
It's about that jerk Trump lying, always puffing himself up.
I would never do that.
I would never tell a lie to puff myself up because I'm Brian Williams.
And I take a sec, I take a back seat to no one in my love of country.
I would also never go against an institution as a proud institutionalist.
I would never go against an institution.
Isn't that what the guy was in the Green Mile where the guy was institutionalized and he ended up hating himself because he couldn't live outside the institute?
Oh, right.
Is that an institutionalist?
I think so.
All right, here we go.
This is where I get to say regrets.
I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention.
Well, I could mention a few of them.
Let's mention a few of them.
I'll mention a few of them.
How about, well, getting caught lying about your war stories.
How about that?
I bet you regret that.
How about watching your only daughter?
Oh, no, I can't.
I don't want to.
His daughter did simulate Analingus on HBO, right?
That was like that started a whole lot of people.
He probably regretted seeing it.
He probably regretted seeing it.
He was like, oh, well, can't unsee that.
I wanted to be supportive of my daughter's career, but I never will be able to unsee that.
Much the way I could never unsteal that valor.
But like I said, not worth mentioning.
None of this is worth mentioning.
Okay.
A ride it's been.
What a ride it's been.
He said, you know who else said what a ride it's been?
Every midwit I went to high school with under their yearbook picture.
That's what they said.
What a ride it's been.
Here we go.
Shouldn't his quote be, what a long fake ride on a made-up Apache dodging imaginary rockets it's been.
That's what he should have said.
Yes.
How else would a liar with a middle to low intellect like Brian get to meet presidents?
Oh, here we go.
I'm jumping ahead with the joke.
Hold on.
How else was a kid like me going to meet presidents and kings and the occasional rock star?
Yes.
How else would a liar with a middle to low intellect like Brian Williams get to meet presidents and rock stars than by relating Satan's many-headed penis?
I'm sorry.
I'm fillating.
I misread the joke.
God damn it.
I fucked it up.
I'm worse than Brian Williams.
He's a better, he's definitely a better news anchor than I am.
He's got his TV, whatever that is.
He knows how to do it.
He knows how to broadcast.
He knows how to lean.
He leans forward and he's got that, what do you call it?
That suit, that $5,000 suit.
Boy, those are nice.
Okay, here we go.
These lovely testimonials that I can never truly repay make me hyper-aware that it has been and remains a wonderful life.
It's as if I'm going to wake up tomorrow morning in Bedford Falls.
No, it's like you're going to wake up tomorrow and realize my whole life is just one of my war stories.
A lie.
Instead, he's going to wake up in America 2021 where almost no one believes his made-up bullshit anymore.
What a weird way to wake up.
Okay.
The reality is, though, I will wake up tomorrow in the America of the year 2021, a nation unrecognizable to those who came before us and fought to protect.
He's still fucking doing this.
Unrecognizable.
How is it unrecognizable?
It looks exactly the same.
Which is what you must do now.
My colleagues will take it from here.
What is he supposed to do?
I don't know what I'm supposed to talk to.
To those who came before us and fought to protect it, which is what you must do now.
My colleague.
You have to fight to protect our country.
Our institutions find it impossible.
I mean, imagine if a Fox News host was telling that to people.
You got to fight.
You have to fight these fuckers.
You have to fight to protect this country.
Fight.
That's incendiary language for a newsman to use, especially when he's encouraging you to hate half the country.
But not in such a great voice, though, right?
To be silent and stay away from you and lights and cameras after I experiment with relaxation and find out what I've missed.
That's like what an artificial intelligence robot would say.
I'm going to experiment with relaxation.
That's what they would say.
He's a newly sentient AI.
What is this what humans call relaxation?
What is this thing?
There.
Every weeknight for decades now, I've said some version of the same thing.
*laughter*
But his corporate overlords would let him.
I don't even know.
How do you make fun of that?
Yeah, I guess it's up to a new fake tan husk with a great hairline to carry the torch.
I guess.
Okay, here.
Thank you for being here with us.
Us, meaning the people who produced this broadcast for you.
Us, meaning the Matrix, and you meaning the cattle we feed on for energy for the machine.
Okay.
And you, well, without you, there is no us.
I'll show myself out until we meet again.
That is our broadcast for this Thursday night.
Thank you for being here with us.
And for all my colleagues at the Network.
Don't forget, keep hating and fearing half the country.
Don't forget, we're going to make those fuckers answer for this shit.
Someday, we're all going to have this come up that they got coming.
Never going to happen, Brian, but you keep doing it.
I hope we catch those guys that shot those rockets at his helicopter at least.
Yeah, hopefully, at least we can catch those guys.
Jesus Christ.
That was unreal.
That was nobody, did no one look over that before he read it?
No.
It sounds like a satirical version of a farewell speech.
It does.
I've said the same thing every night for the last 20 years.
Okay, fine.
For decades, I've said the same thing for the last.
That's it.
Never a new thought.
Then one day something went wrong with my program and now I'm to be deleted.
Boy, I remember when the worst thing they used to do was pretend that both sides did it.
Well, both sides are right.
You never know who's right or wrong.
And then you find out there's not two sides.
But now they've decided to pick a side, and now they pretended there's two sides.
Now they're pretending there's two sides and they want you to hate one side of the corporate party because there's just one party in America and it's the corporate party, but they want you to hate one half of it.
Jimmy, see, it's like Twix.
You know how there's left Twix and right Twix and you're supposed to pick one side of the Twix.
Oh, really?
Remember the Twix commercial?
Yeah, get a rivalry between each of the Twix bars in the package.
Yes.
Left Twix.
I remember that.
Yeah, we're fighting an important battle of tastes great versus less filling here in America.
what a stirring speech full of division and divisiveness and hatred.
It was really nice.
I mean, the ones where you talk about, you know, bringing people together in harmony and unity, those are boring.
I like the ones about hating half the country.
That was fantastic.
Hey, I'm going to try to relax now, but you keep fighting that useless culture war.
And you should be, it should scare the shit out of you.
I'm going to go relax for a while, but don't you stop shitting your pants or hating half the country.
I'll show myself out.
I like when he says that.
That's that false modesty.
I'll show myself out.
Oh, really?
No one's taking, no one's going to walk you through the door.
No one cares about Brian Wibb.
He's given us so much.
Can't someone show him to the door?
Hey, come on.
I like he's down to earth.
I always heard the guy shows himself out still, even though with all his success, he shows himself out.
He shows himself out.
He's classy.
He's real regular salt of the earth.
No shower.
I tried it.
One time I tried to give him a right this way, sir, and he wouldn't take it.
Wouldn't take it.

And we're going to be talking about the BreadTube.
Now, what is the BreadTube?
So BreadTube or LeftTube is a loose and informal group of online content creators who create video essays from socialist communists, anarchists, and other left-wing perspectives.
BreadTube's creators generally post videos on YouTube that are discussed on other online platforms such as Reddit.
BreadTube creators also live stream on Twitch.
BreadTube's creators are known to participate in a form of algorithmic.
I don't care about that.
So they're supposed to be left we people and they're supposedly when the New York Times wrote an article about them.
They totally they de-radicalize right-wing people into regular lefty stuff.
That's what they that's what they said.
And in fact, and they're funding, this is according to Wikipedia, which Wikipedia is worth shit a lot of times when it comes to stuff like this.
Many BreadTubers are funded primarily by monthly donations on Patreon and refuse income from advertising and sponsorships.
Really?
As they are not dependent on such income, BreadTubers have more freedom to pursue critical, critical content.
Wait a minute.
Well, here's what Caleb Maupin, who wrote a book about them.
This is what he said about BreadTube and what their real agenda is.
They are, you know, playing up.
Ready, here we go.
They are, you know, playing up U.S. foreign policy goals and trying to stigmatize and isolate those who oppose U.S. imperialism, legitimate anti-imperialist, anti-war voices, mainly by trying to equate them with the far right, which is just ridiculous.
So what Caleb's saying is that what these BreadTube people are, actually, they parrot the United States State Department foreign policy.
So they're pro-imperialism.
And what they actually do is are there to confuse people and to make them think that people like me, who's always been an anti-imperialist, is somehow bad right-winger.
He says it.
Here we go.
You know, I argue that BreadTube is dangerous.
It is cultivating a generation of people not to be able to tell the difference between David Duke and Jimmy Dore.
And if that is not dangerous, I don't know what is.
David Duke is a racist, an anti-Semite, a hater, a bigot, a former Klansman.
Jimmy Dore is a progressive, anti-war comedian standing up for truth and justice and peace.
But in the, you know, you look at Vosh's comments, Vosh is trying to psych up his audience to equate Jimmy Dore with David Duke.
That's dangerous, and you need to oppose that.
And that's why we need to, you know, get out there and challenge these people.
So we go to the gray zone.
They have an article about this very thing, this very phenomena.
It says leaked files expose serious psyops veteran astro-turfing BreadTube star to counter COVID restriction critics.
So that would be me and Max Blumenthal.
We are COVID restriction critics.
And I don't know of any other ones on YouTube that consider themselves left.
By covertly recruiting popular YouTube influencer Abigail Thorne to counter growing opposition to the UK's government COVID restrictions, PSYOPS pros are bringing home the tactics they honed in the Syrian dirty war.
Leaked documents have revealed a state-sponsored influence operation designed to undermine critics of the British government's coronavirus policies by astro-turfing a prominent founder of the BreadTube clique as anti-fascist YouTube influencers.
The project aims to conduct psychological profiling on British citizens, dissenting against policies such as mandatory vaccination and lockdowns, then leverage the data to establish a YouTube channel that portrays these critics as dangerous super spreaders of disinformation.
I've been a victim of this several times at a very high level.
Designed to curb the influence of pseudosciences, pseudoscience material online with specific emphasis on coronavirus related anti-vaccine sentiment, the operation is run by the UK's royal institution and dubbed challenging pseudoscience.
So this is the government sponsoring people clandestinely, clandestinely to undermine people like me.
And they've done it.
Plenty.
Its top patron is Charles, the Prince of Wales, next in line to the British throne, who recently hit out at supposed conspiracy theories surrounded COVID-19 vaccines.
The organization received a substantial cash injection in 2020 from the UK's government's culture recovery fund earmarked for video production.
Leaked files obtained by the gray zone indicate that the royal institution has enlisted the services of Valent Projects.
That's a social change communications firm founded by a public relations operative previously involved in the UK Foreign Office's campaign for violent regime change in Syria.
So you see where this guy comes from?
So you see where these people, these people were pushing a dirty war in Syria, and now they're trying to undermine people like me.
Valent has also been sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID, a U.S. intelligence cutout for a project aimed at investigating disinformation.
Valent's central role in the operation Highlights the trend of information warfare specialists bringing the techniques they honed against targets like the Syrian government back home to the West, where increasingly unpopular governments confront masses of citizens ever bristling at coronavirus restrictions.
So they're the same shit that they used on Syrian government, they're now going to be using on you, the citizen, because you're going against that government's mandates.
As in Syria, where communications firms like Valent created, trained, and instrumentalized media organizations to further regime change objectives, they have covertly recruited a famed British YouTube influencer to lend their carefully calculated messaging campaign an authentic flavor.
And there she is.
And who's the head of Varent?
Valent, this guy right there, Emil Khan.
So he's the head of that, and they recruited her to go have people like me and Max.
And this is something, here's a typical tweet from him.
He says, Russian info ops aren't what they used to be.
Someone going by the name of Kicklenberg is about to publish an article in Insert Russian state-affiliated media, accusing me of being a terrorist propagandist, etc.
So far, so yawn.
Here's a short thread on what I expected.
So anyway, those are the people.
Max, now you wrote this article.
What would you, first of all, do you have reason to believe this is not only happening in the UK, but it's happening here?
Definitely happening here.
And the UK is often kind of a testing ground for these kind of information warfare operations.
Kit Clarenberg, who is a British reporter who has done some of the best work in unpacking a lot of the leaked files that have emerged out of British intelligence cutouts around the Syrian dirty war, obtained these files from Valent.
They were leaked.
And, you know, enormous credit to Kit for pulling this together.
And I came in as editor and then provided a lot of background context on BreadTube and brought in Caleb Maupin as well, because Caleb has been writing about BreadTube and came, he nailed it in his book because although it was a hypothesis or his own opinion,
his understanding of BreadTube as self-described Marxists or socialists who are constantly getting an algorithmic push from YouTube, whereas Jimmy Doer is suppressed and subjected to all kinds of speech codes when they're getting so much establishment props getting profiled in the New York Times, that that looks suspicious.
And it reminded him, as it reminded me, of past intelligence operations to co-opt and divide the left.
And that's what BreadTube and many of its figures have been doing.
So basically the files that Kit obtained, what they show is that in order to start undermining people who have been calling out the official lies around coronavirus and just talking about how destructive all these restrictions have been socially, especially to the most vulnerable people.
And this is becoming a huge problem in Europe for these governments whose popularities are cratering.
It's a huge problem for Boris Johnson.
It's why he's pulled back from a lockdown around New Year's.
They're recruiting the most influential and easily co-optable people who have some left credibility to attack their critics.
They don't want to attack them directly.
They can't do that.
And they can't have like, you know, the UK Foreign Office or Prince Charles himself come out and say, these people are dangerous.
No, they need someone who seems kind of like, seems kind of not just credible, but alternative and attractive and convincing.
Abigail Thorne is the perfect person for this.
I mean, Philosophy Tube has a million subscribers.
She has over 7,000 Patreon subscribers.
She's very amiable.
The YouTube videos she does on philosophy and history are extremely creative, using artisanal sound and costumes and acting.
It's really another level.
But, you know, it's not organic, as Kit proved.
What was happening here was the royal institution run by the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, was putting up the money for this intelligence initiative.
And they had actually been cratering themselves.
They'd been running out of money.
They were selling off their art collection.
The British state steps in through this culture fund, as the pandemic has declared, gives them a bunch of money earmarked for video production, which is suspicious.
And then they bring in Valent projects as the contractor and Emil Khan.
This is a group that had cut its teeth in the Syrian dirty war, whitewashing extremist, violent extremist organizations like the CIA-backed Free Syrian Army.
Emil Khan was directly involved in trying to rebrand them and make them look secular and not affiliated with al-Qaeda, which they actually were.
They were doing all kinds of astroturfing in Syria to set up media organizations to do white helmet style actions that would all be conveyed back to the British and U.S. public through Western media.
And they're bringing those tactics back to the UK through this project, which they call Countering Pseudoscience.
Revalent projects, they get all these, they do all this research on people who have COVID skeptical views, who are critical of restrictions.
And they use that research, basically using the British public as a laboratory for creating this new channel for Abigail Thorne, who is the talent.
And it's all covert.
Abigail Thorne isn't acknowledging any of this.
Abigail Thorne is a founding key member of BreadTube.
And so it raises questions about the rest of these BreadTube influencers.
I mean, you've got Vosh, who's this gamer, former gamer from Beverly Hills, who, you know, is always attacking anti-war leftists.
He's always saying, you know, the gray zone is involved in some secret red-brown alliance with fascists.
You know, we're sponsored by Russia, all the typical narratives.
He called for torturing and killing, sending Julian Assange to be tortured in a CIA black site just to trigger his supporters.
He has made so many disgusting statements about anti-imperialist leftists.
And then you have Sean, who made a video about you attacking you, who I actually didn't know he was affiliated with BreadTube, but he's considered part of their constellation.
And the video attacking you, which relies Heavily on official sources.
You know, the FDA says that the World Health Organization says that it looks a lot like this countering pseudoscience material.
And it was very strategically placed.
It was algorithmically boosted on YouTube.
Oh, it was definitely algorithmically boosted on YouTube.
No fucking doubt about that.
That was given the favorite treatment on YouTube.
The CIA and the intelligence beholden that Google and YouTube.
They're in bed with the fucking intelligence community.
Of course they are.
Google, Alphabet, the biggest, fucking largest, most profitable communications company in the history of the fucking world.
Any company, of course, they are.
Go ahead.
I'm sorry, interrupt you.
But yes, that was what, as soon as I read this story, I'm like, oh, that's that's that's they they funded this shit, that hit job on me because it was super professionally done.
It looked like it had to have some resources behind it.
But go ahead.
Yeah, no, feel free to interrupt.
Um, we we know how the how intelligence in the UK and U.S. operates um since the end of the Cold War.
They operate through cutouts and assets, they don't want to take credit directly, like Bellingcat.
Like we've, we've, we've we've revealed Bellingcat on this show when we were reporting accurately about Syria.
So Bellingcat's one of these people that get money from the U.S. government and the UK government, and they go and all they are is a propaganda machine to knock down people like us who are telling the truth about the military-industrial complex imperialistic agenda, right?
And so they think they're funded by the same governments who are doing this.
Really, it's from the military-industrial complex because so they get the money, then they do that.
And that's what it leaks.
They're doing the same thing now with COVID.
So anybody, totally, anybody who has a counter narrative to COVID, they get money from these people to do a hit job, which is exactly what they did on me.
Exactly.
Bellingcat is a perfect example.
I'm glad you brought him up.
One of Bellingcat's biggest funders is the National Endowment for Democracy.
Yes.
Which presents itself the NED.
Yeah, it's the regime change arm of the U.S. government.
And they present themselves as a nonprofit, but they're funded entirely by the U.S. government.
They work hand in glove with U.S. intelligence.
They cultivate dissidents.
They fund media outlets in countries where the U.S. seeks regime change.
And there's this really remarkable article by David Ignatius from the Washington Post in 1991, back when he was a correspondent.
I think it's called Innocence Abroad.
And in this article, Ignatius outlines a series of what he calls overt operators who are billionaires or oligarchs, unions, and NGOs like the National Endowment for Democracy that are doing the work of the CIA to topple post-Soviet socialist governments,
but and by spurring color revolutions, but doing it in the open, not like the CIA used to do in Guatemala or Iran, where they would everything was secret.
And then when it was exposed, it was this giant scandal.
And so one of the, you know, the NED is one of the groups he names.
The NED and NED founder Alan Weinstein was quoted in that article saying, We are doing what the CIA used to do covertly in the open.
I always quote Weinstein because that explains how all of these intelligence operations, especially on the information warfare side, function.
They get funded through USAID or NED and it goes to some influencer or some bogus media organization and it looks organic.
And so the hand of intelligence becomes invisible.
In this case, countering pseudoscience was not only spun out by Valent Projects, which is an intelligence contractor.
It was funded by the Open Society Foundation of George Soros.
And I know you get called an anti-Semite, a conspiracist if you talk about Soros, but Soros is named in that David Ignatius 1991 article as an overt operator who is helping the CIA do regime change in countries where it wanted to topple the government and doing so proudly.
So, I mean, all the elements are there.
It's clear what's going on.
And this narrative around COVID has really is something the establishment is holding on to the same way they were holding on to the interventionist regime change narrative around Syria and attacking all of the critics.
And it's not just, it's absolutely not limited to this one case of Abigail Thorin being astroturfed.
And we will be exposing more in the future.
I'm sure of it.
I really wish Julian Assange was free because I know he would help expose so much of this.
And that's part of the point of keeping him in jail is there are so many more establishment deceptions that people like him knew how to expose.
These documents, I'm so glad they're seeing the light of day, but there's, I guarantee there will be more and more and they need to be reported on.
Do you so how I think it's very pervasive?
We'll see.
I don't know.
But I think I was talking to somebody about this earlier and I was like, so do you think the young Turks gets this kind of people like them?
I'm trying to figure out who's getting this money in the United States.
Like TYT has been, you know, so horrible since 2015 and then they got the $24 million.
And I'm like, do you think they're getting money from this to say that shit about Julian Assange and all that stuff about Syria?
Why would they do that?
And the person I was talking to said, why would they pay them for doing something they're getting for free?
So I just think the young Turks are just that shitty.
And but it wouldn't surprise me if, because they, you know, they're desperate for money.
They'll take it from Clinton donors.
They'll take it from right-wingers.
They'll take it from anybody, hedge fund managers.
They'll take, they have hedge fund managers on their board now.
So they'll take it from anybody.
So it wouldn't surprise me if that turned out to be true.
But go ahead.
Yeah, well, I noticed they were all promoting that Sean video.
They were the first to promote it, the TYT crowd.
And I don't, but I agree with you.
They're doing it.
They believe in this shit.
Yeah.
They, they, and then they can convince themselves that they, that this is what they believe.
It's just so funny.
If it aligns with, if it aligns with their opportunity.
It's so funny.
The whole thing is that Jimmy Doerr is a grifter.
That's the whole thing.
He doesn't really believe what he's saying.
He's just saying this for clicks.
And it's like, why would I do this?
There's a lot easier ways to fucking make money than trying to get your channel taken down, have the CIA fucking fund people to do videos about you.
It's a fucking, it's not fun having hit pieces written about you in the Washington Post or New York Times, Newsweek, everywhere you go, it's not fun.
There's a lot easier ways to make money.
Why wouldn't I just go suck up to these people or like Bajenk Uger did to a big media mogul and ask him for a couple of million dollars?
That's a lot easier than to actually risk your reputation, stick your chin out and get it kicked in over and over and over again.
And by the way, I love what they say.
Again, the basis of their criticism is Jimmy Dore makes money.
He sells t-shirts.
Guess what?
Everybody else does too.
And everybody else Sells way more.
They sell coffee.
The young Turks are selling fucking coffee.
They're selling emojis.
They're selling mojis.
They're selling books they never wrote.
Jack Uger literally sold a book and he never fucking wrote it, which is illegal.
But somehow I'm the fucking grifter.
And by the way, for a whole year during the lockdowns, at the end of every video, I said, don't give me money.
Keep your money.
Nobody's got a job.
Did anybody else had new?
I guess they missed that in that video too.
But I sell t-shirts.
So that's proof positive that somehow I don't believe what I'm saying.
Anybody who watches this show for a second knows I believe exactly everything I'm saying.
And I'm against the COVID narrative.
I'm against Fauci.
I'm against them suppressing early treatments.
I'm against them suppressing any information except vaccines and masks.
I'm against that.
I'm also against mandates.
I'm based on science and based on a lefty perspective for workers.
And that's what they are really afraid of.
And I, and a lot of people on the right agree with this.
So this is not a, this is left and right agreeing with this.
And that's what they have to stop.
Go ahead.
Well, yeah, it's not really a left-right issue.
And that's what makes it so dangerous.
Yes.
And if you look at the medical freedom movement, whatever you want to call it worldwide, it is one of the largest, most international and diverse movements, social movements and protest movements of our time.
It gets very little mainstream media coverage for a reason because it's so threatening.
It's not one of those officially sanctioned protests.
And it's not just a bunch of white right-wing extremists running around exploiting coronavirus to advance their Nazi domination dreams.
The people of Guadeloupe, which is a French neo-colony in the Caribbean, including union leaders, took over the legislative body there to protest vaccine passports and mandates, and along with the entire austerity regime they're living under under the control of billionaire, former central billionaire, former banker Emmanuel Macron.
This happened and it's just been completely ignored in media.
This is part of this freedom movement that's taking place around the world while authorities try to make the word freedom a kind of a dirty word.
So it's very threatening and it's understandable that you would have these projects crop up where intelligence is involved.
So when you're watching someone do a critical video or a video trying to knock down people who are anti-war or anti-imperialism, like this show, your show, there's a good chance they've been co-opted is what you're saying, right?
That's what you're saying.
There's a good chance they've been corrupted.
And there's more than one way to co-opt.
Would you say an M, you know, a six-figure MSNBC contract would also serve that purpose to silence someone and get them to go along with the NERD.
There's lots of different ways they could do this, right?
I mean, on Syria, yeah, there was a huge level of co-optation.
Like so many of the people involved in attacking us at least had some connection to one of these intelligence cutouts.
Like it was just so obvious.
I don't need to go into details now.
But there's a lot of fear and there are other reasons why people despise you and what you're saying about COVID than some spook comes in the room and tells them what to say.
But the point is that some of the most sophisticated media and the messaging around it, is being dictated by powerful interests.
I mean, that's just clear.
Like when we talked about the Great Barrington Declaration, when three pretty prominent credentialed epidemiologists got together and presented an alternative to this ham-fisted attempt at eradicating COVID that would do less damage to workers and society, they came under a coordinated attack, but it started in progressive media.
The Nation magazine published one of the first attacks by Greg Gonsalves, this Yale epidemiologist on the Great Barrington Declaration.
And it turns out from emails that came out through FOIA that Gonzalves was working hand in glove with NIH director Francis Collins and Anthony Fauci to attack them.
And, you know, there's so many other attacks on GBR and progressive publications.
This was coordinated.
And what is the NIH or what are Fauci involved in?
That is another aspect of the permanent state that connects directly to the military intelligence apparatus, or at least indirectly.
This biomedical establishment or regime that has shown its face for the first time to the public in a very clear way in this pandemic is just another aspect of the same apparatus we've been talking about, this permanent bureaucracy that we never elected that has very little transparency.
And they're going after their critics.
I mean, the White House has gone directly after RFK Jr.
Fauci's going after him in the open, but they've been going after him behind closed doors.
And as Corey Morningstar, the researcher, revealed the same public relations firm that was used by the Syrian White Helmets, Purpose UK, has been hired by the UN to quote unquote flood the zone on Twitter to push back at COVID skeptical narratives.
So who's doing that?
The PR firm that helped create the Syrian white helmets.
It's called Purpose UK.
No shit.
Corey Morningstar tweeted about this.
Vanessa Bealy, who reported a lot on Syria, helped expose the White Helmet's deception.
She noted that Orlando Isinger, who's a filmmaker, is involved in many film projects on COVID, which are obviously promoting the official agenda.
He's the guy who made the Netflix film on the Syrian White Helmets that somehow won a hot Oscar.
I mean, it wasn't even a very good film, but it was all about, you know, the Oscars turned into a vehicle for empire.
Yes.
So the same people that have been involved at the ground level on a granular level in the most important aspects of the dirty war on Syria are now being repurposed to save the COVID-19 regime that has been tormenting us for two years.
And it's not, so it doesn't just stop with this project.
We just focused on one project, but there are many more.
Okay, well, I can't wait.
I hope you get some more information.
I hope you get some more leaked material leaked your way.
I would love to find out who's in bed with the intelligence community here in the United States who have YouTube shows.
That would be fantastic to find out.
You know, it's not me.
You know, I'm not one of them.
Boy, I wish I was.
That would be fun.
Wouldn't have to worry about anything.
Nobody's making an offer.
That's the whole point.
That's my problem.
You know, I'm not, I'm as corruptible as the next guy.
Why is anybody making an offer?
All they want to do is take me down.
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
And, you know, the term intelligence community is an oxymoron.
They're neither communal nor particularly intelligent.
So the people they've been working with are some of the most discredited YouTubers and cable personalities.
Just think of everything that John Brennan said on MSNBC over the last four years.
It's all been discredited.
Yep.
Yeah.
Everything.
I mean, people hate them.
I hope so.
I hope people remember that they're supposed to hate the CIA and the liars for imperialism.
I hope they remember that.
But I don't think, you know, again, because of Trump, people's minds went to mush.
And now suddenly the people who were their biggest enemies, now they consider their friends because they pretend to not like Trump.
But I agree that the CIA actually didn't like Trump because he was a little bit of a problem for them.
He wouldn't do exactly everything they said to do.
And they didn't like that.
And so they leaked the contents of his phone call to the Ukraine.
They did the same thing to Joe Biden, by the way.
He's not in office for fucking five seconds.
And they're releasing a transcript of one of his phone calls to the leader of India, I think.
And what do you think that is for?
That is for them to let Joe Biden and his crew know we're in charge.
We're in charge, not you.
And don't you get any fucking ideas?
That's what that's about.
Because Joe Biden can't put a tap on fucking that guy's phone at the CIA.
They're the ones that do the phone tapping.
Okay.
He's not going to get Andy Slavet to go over and do some phone tapping for him.
He's going to need the guys from the CIA to do it.
Well, yeah, I think, you know, when you hear Let's Go Brandon, it's not just about Biden.
It's about the people that control him.
And I think so many people understand that Biden isn't really the guy in charge.
Oh, he's not in charge.
No, he's not in charge.
And yeah, let's go, Brandon, is about let's get rid of, fuck this regime.
That's what I think it means.
Go ahead.
Totally.
Yeah, fuck this regime.
Fuck the corporate media that lied about what the crowd was actually chanting.
They weren't chanting for Brandon the race car driver.
You're just a bunch of liars.
So it's about the corporate media too.
And so much was happening across the West that threatened the establishment leading up to the implementation of the most horrific stage of the Covidian regime with the vaccine mandates and passports, the demonization of the unvaccinated, all that rhetoric.
It really suggested a fear of populism, a fear of anti-establishment grassroots upsurge.
And here we are at the end of the year with Omicron kind of exposing the failure of all the various techno fixes.
And the populist surge is returning.
The establishment is terrified.
And I don't see, I don't know if they have a strategy at this point.
They don't, I mean, the Democrats don't even know who they're going to run in 2024.
So from a perspective of, you know, an organizer, someone who, you know, opposes the establishment, this would seem like a very good time to get out in the streets, organize people.
But it's sad to see that so much of the left, at least in the U.S., has accepted the COVID-19 narrative and will not even use this moment as a way to examine, critique, and criticize power and the way it's operating and manipulating people.
Many of them are even hostile to the kind of reporting that I've been overseeing at the gray zone, where we're just using, we're just continuing to critique the scaffolding of power and how it is trying to manipulate us psychologically against the backdrop of COVID.
So I mean, anyway, there are some encouraging aspects of this.
When you see the fear of the establishment, we should be somewhat encouraged.
Okay, I'll take it.
I'll take it.
All right, Max Blumenthal, I appreciate you.
Everybody should check out that article over at thegrayzone.com.
It's fantastic.
And all the work you guys do over there is fantastic.
So thanks for doing that.
Thanks for coming on.
And have a happy new year.
Hopefully, we'll see you in the new year.
Thanks.
And I'll be having Caleb Maupin on this week to talk about this more.
So check out my live stream, Foreign Agents at Rockfin.
Oh, foreign agents.
I got to put that in your bio when I read it.
I always missed it.
It's a long bio.
Yeah.
Foreign agents over at Rockfin.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Jimmy, this is Er Pacito.
Oh, my God.
Hi, Mr. Pacito.
Thanks for calling.
What's on your mind, buddy?
Politics.
Like I said before, I've made it my goal to finally understand politics after a lifetime of ignoring that shit.
I've decided that it is important.
So I have all these different sources that I go to to learn.
I see.
And you are one of them.
Oh, thank you, Al.
Mr. Pacito.
Yeah, I need one yellow guy.
Only one, though.
You know, you listen to too many yellow guys and everything gets all fuzzy and topsy-derby.
I got to sit the fuck down for a while.
So you're my guy.
Well, I'm passionate about what I do, and I make no apologies, Al.
