Friends, if you have your Bible, open up to 1 Corinthians chapter 12.
And I'm going to start reading right here in verse 12.
So 1 Corinthians 12, 12.
For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though are many, are one body, so also is Christ.
For we were all baptized by one spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, we were all given one spirit to drink.
Indeed, the body is not one part, but many.
If the foot should say, because I'm not a hand, I don't belong to the body, it is not for any reason less a part of the body.
And if the ear should say, because I'm not an eye, I don't belong to the body, it is not for that reason that it is any less part of the body.
If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be?
If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
But as it is, God has arranged each one of the parts of the body just as he wanted.
And if he were all the same part, where would the body be?
As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
Mondo, I think a lot of believers have abandoned the idea that though we may not all agree 100% on every theological issue, as long as we believe on the salvation issues, the core fundamentals, the pillars of faith, as long as we don't deter from those, we're all still one body.
I'm pretty sure even, you know, there's people who come on the show.
We don't agree with every theological take that comes across this desk, but we know the people who come on the show agree with the core fundamentals of the salvation issues.
And as long as we agree on the salvation issues, they can argue pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib.
They can argue all those things all they want.
We'll give them the platform to present their information so that you can make an educated decision on your own through the lens of the Bible.
But Mondo, we are here as one body and we should be unified if we're one body.
When I look at the body of doctors out there, you have so many specialists doing different things.
You got the ear doctors, you got the foot doctors, neurosurgeons, you got the people that crack your back.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They're doctors.
They're doctors, right?
I think they're doctors.
That's right.
Chiropractors?
Yeah, they are.
Yeah, they are.
I call them doctors.
Listen, the key is this.
Understanding what your role is in the body of Christ is going to keep you from a lot of trouble.
And there's a lot of people out there arguing silly things and dumb things and things that we shouldn't even be putting our attention to, understanding that we all have a role to play in the body of Christ.
But one of the most dangerous places to be is in the body of Christ, not knowing what you're called to do or what part of the body you should serve.
Why is that?
Because a lot of people go into it thinking that they're called to be pastors, yet they're called to be evangelists.
Then you have evangelists that are called to be missionaries and not called to be evangelists.
Understanding what your role is in the body of Christ is going to be so key.
It's so important in the time and the season that we're in right now.
But at the end of the day, we need one another.
Amen.
We absolutely.
Oh, did you hear that?
We need one another.
That's right.
I promise you, if the church would stand arm linked side by side, let the Lord stand in front of us and we stand with each other, we would be the most unstoppable force in the entire world.
Why?
Because we have the Holy Spirit living inside of us.
We have God's ordained way of doing things with us, which is Jesus Christ.
And friends, if we just found unity, I promise you.
And that's why the world, whether you like it or not, that's why they push divisiveness within the church.
That's why they push divisiveness within denominational and discord between denominations as well, is because they know the minute that the church understands unification is the key to everything, that's when the power of the darkness, the power of this world, which is the enemy, where it says in Ephesians, we're not fighting against flesh and blood, but against rulers, powers, principalities, cosmic rulers of the dark age that we live in.
Once we realize that we have all authority and we unify, it'd be the end of the kingdom of darkness that here is on the earth.
We are seeing the body of Christ.
This is spiritually speaking.
We are in trouble.
We are eating one another up.
We are tearing one another apart because we disagree on how we handle certain issues.
And there are certain issues that do need to be handled very carefully when it comes to sexual abuse in the church, when it comes to abuse, spiritual abuse, and all we can go down the list.
And you are absolutely right.
There has to be an integrity in the church, in the body of Christ, but it's got to be done very wisely with a lot of knowledge and a lot of wisdom because you don't want to go in there.
Again, let me put the example as a doctor.
If a doctor goes into surgery and starts messing with everything around the main procedure, now by the time he's done with the main procedure, he's touched a lot of nerves that are not going to be happy.
Understand that when you deal with surgery in the body of Christ, dealing with a lot of issues that are splitting the church up, we have to do it very carefully in unison, understanding that at the end of the day, is it going to benefit the body of Christ or is it going to create a lot of problems in the body of Christ?
That's right.
Understanding your role.
Ricky, we have a culture right now, before we get into Cardiomiracle, we have a culture right now that is demanding, listen to what I'm telling you, demanding accountability from our pulpits, from churches, from nonprofit organizations.
And that's a good thing because there has to be accountability in the body of Christ, but it's got to be done with wisdom.
It's got to be done right.
If we don't do accountability the right way, Ricky, we are in trouble of splitting the church and splitting the body of Christ in a way that a lot of people are going to be hurt.
And quite frankly, there's a lot of hurt people in social media right now when they're discussing the church.
That's right.
That's right.
You know, Mondo, when you first came to the Lord, what was that, 28 years ago, now 20, 20, yeah, 28, 29 years ago, you were all in for Jesus.
I mean, you didn't care if people said they were charismatic, if they said they were angelical.
You just knew, hey, if you love Jesus, we're on the same team, especially in the region you're in, LA Dream Center.
You talked about it in your book, which is still available.
My crazy life, the book is still available.
But tell me, whenever you first just jumped into Jesus, I mean, what was your concern?
Were you concerned about denominational issues?
Or you were concerned about the salvation issues?
I was just concerned at the fact that, does he love me enough to keep me?
Amen.
And I didn't understand all the things that you mentioned.
I didn't understand what being charismatic, evangelical.
I didn't understand what Baptist meant, what assemblies of God, the prosperity gospel.
I just scared that Jesus loved me enough to die for me on the cross and forgive me of my sin.
Now I needed to go tell the whole world that he has saved my life.
And that's what I did with my book.

Well, this has been my lifelong journey for me to overcome my own health challenges from age zero to 24, where I was raised by doctors and medical people and pharmaceutical people.

The connection, the bringing it back to the whole.
That's something that we have been disconnected and divided through those disconnections.
And this temple that we have been given to live in while we are here, while we inhabit, we have done so much to trash it, even in ignorance.
But as they say, that once we know better, we must do better.
And as I learned about how to care for this temple, I had to share that message as well.
And it really was a deep and is a deep spiritual message that crosses all of those divides, as you point out, and brings us all together.
