Jim Bakker Show - The Jim Bakker Show with Dov Schwarz Aired: 2024-12-20 Duration: 58:26 === Restoring Meekness (13:08) === [00:00:01] Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. [00:00:10] Today, our special guest is the founder and director of the television show, What's There For, Doe Schwartz. [00:00:19] Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo DeLa Vega. [00:00:24] And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. [00:00:34] Hey, you're watching PTL Television Network, Jim Baker's PTL Television Network. [00:00:38] We want to thank you for tuning in with us today. [00:00:40] Mondo, hundreds of thousands of shows, different things people could be watching on video on demand, and they tune in to the Jim Baker Family Show. [00:00:47] We have truly the best partners in the entire world. [00:00:50] They've stood with us through thick, through thin, through mountaintops, through valleys. [00:00:53] And I'm grateful for you. [00:00:54] You're watching right now. [00:00:56] You are truly a blessing to the PTL Television Network. [00:00:58] Even the Mondo show. [00:00:59] I know a lot of our partners transitioned over to watching the Mondo Show in addition to the Jim Baker family show. [00:01:04] One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 17, 17. [00:01:08] A friend loveth at all times and a brother and sister. [00:01:13] You can't live the sisters out. [00:01:15] And the sisters are born for adversity. [00:01:17] And that's what you have been not only to this ministry, to our family, but even people that are supporting this network. [00:01:26] We need friends. [00:01:27] And Ricky, we are in a time right now that friendships are being tested. [00:01:32] That's right. [00:01:32] Uh-oh, that'll preach. [00:01:34] That's right. [00:01:35] Friendships are being tested, but yet on this program, we want to remind you, always have a spirit of discernment because I want to tell you something. [00:01:44] Discernment is going to be the key to understand what ministries you need to continue to support, what ministries you need to stand with. [00:01:53] But yet, I thank God for my program, the Mondo Show. [00:01:56] I thank God for the Jim Baker Show. [00:01:58] There are programs that are tried and tested over time. [00:02:02] And I can tell you that we are doing our best, Ricky, to be able to bring people together in a time where the Bible talks about the suddenlies will take place. [00:02:12] That's right. [00:02:13] And it's a lot of suddenlies taking place right now all at once. [00:02:17] And we have to be discerning about what that means. [00:02:19] That's right. [00:02:19] You know, I'm glad you brought up Proverbs 17, 7, because it's true. [00:02:22] A friend loves at all times. [00:02:24] And I'll be honest with you, some translations of the Bible, you know, they might not say that. [00:02:28] You know, some say a friend loves sometimes. [00:02:31] A friend loves part of the time. [00:02:32] A friend loves when you're doing good. [00:02:34] Friend, love is unconditional. [00:02:36] If we have received the love of Jesus Christ, we have received a truly unconditional love. [00:02:41] And we as believers should be doing that for other believers. [00:02:45] I'm reminded of Galatians 6.10 right here. [00:02:47] It says, therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all. [00:02:50] But Mondo, it says this right here, especially to those who are in the household of faith. [00:02:55] So do good to all, friends. [00:02:57] Be good to your neighbor, whether they not have all the same ideologies as you, whether they don't have all the same viewpoints as you. [00:03:02] Be good to your neighbor because friends, you might be the walking Bible that they get to see and live, test it out. [00:03:08] They get to see the relationship of Jesus Christ, but especially those to the household of faith. [00:03:12] And we've seen, I will just be blunt because we're here at the Jim Baker Family Show. [00:03:15] We have zero censor, which is a beautiful thing. [00:03:18] We've been attacked so many times and people have told us to change our message. [00:03:21] But at this point, we just don't care. [00:03:22] We're going to continue to preach 100% the truth of the Bible. [00:03:25] But Mondo, we are seeing people turn, especially within the community of faith, on each other for clickbait, for a good story, for the sake of sharing on Facebook and feeling like they've done something instead of protecting one another. [00:03:37] I'm not saying covering for sin by any means. [00:03:39] I'm saying protecting our brothers and sisters, restoring our brothers and sisters. [00:03:42] That is the business we as believers are supposed to be in. [00:03:45] When you have Christians dissecting, we used to call them fruit inspectors. [00:03:52] And everybody's turning to a fruit inspector today, yet you without sin cast the first stone. [00:03:58] That's right. [00:03:59] We're seeing mega ministries, pastors being exposed or being talked about or discussions on who's wrong. [00:04:08] As a Christian, you got to be very careful how you're going to navigate the conversation, especially if you have social media platform and you're trying to get clicks and baits and all that stuff. [00:04:20] You got to be careful how you talk about the family of God because it's a family affair. [00:04:28] Exactly. [00:04:29] That is what I'm consistently reminded of. [00:04:30] And friends, I understand sin must be called out. [00:04:32] And I've said it many times in this broadcast. [00:04:34] I said at the beginning of this year, 2024, the Lord is going to purify his pulpit so that he can purify the pew in 2025. [00:04:41] Friends, we're seeing the pulpit purified across the United States of America and across the globe. [00:04:46] The pulpit is being purified. [00:04:48] The Lord is putting his holy fire back down in his pulpits so that it can be then distributed to the pew so that there can be actual true lasting revival that ushers in the coming of the Son of God. [00:04:58] Wanda, what happens too often is our conversation turns to gossip. [00:05:02] And that's where we believers, I'm going to give you a strong and a fair warning. [00:05:06] We must be very cautious that our conversations don't just become gossip, gab fests in the middle of our living rooms, in the middle of Facebook pages, in the middle of X or Twitter, whatever you decide to call it, threads. [00:05:19] We have to ensure that we are consistently edifying the body of Christ. [00:05:23] Because friends, if the arm and the feet and the hands and the head, they're all waging war against one another, the body's going to be sick. [00:05:30] You can't go out there and effectively assume the body of Christ is going to be witnessing in the capacity we're supposed to if we are constantly waging war with ourselves. [00:05:39] Again, I'm going to be as clear as possible when I say this, and I'm looking at you right now. [00:05:43] We do not under any circumstance cover for sin. [00:05:47] Absolutely not. [00:05:48] Sin needs to be exposed. [00:05:50] Why? [00:05:50] So that the light of Christ can purify it, so that a brother or a sister who's living in sin can be brought out of that and come back into the fullness of who they are supposed to be in Jesus Christ. [00:06:00] But that doesn't mean we're supposed to be putting people's names, faces, slandering them every opportunity we have on Facebook, on Instagram, on social media. [00:06:07] Friends, we believe strongly in the message of restoration. [00:06:10] We believe strongly in the message of grace. [00:06:12] Why? [00:06:12] Because friends, as our brother Paul said it, I'm the chief of sinners. [00:06:15] And friends, Paul, you know, Paul wrote that. [00:06:17] I feel like Paul should have wrote my name in there. [00:06:19] Paul should have written everyone who has lived's name in there. [00:06:22] Friends, we all will need grace at some point. [00:06:24] We will all need mercy at one point. [00:06:25] We will all need to be picked up off the ground at some point. [00:06:28] So when your brother and sister is on the ground, friends, don't kick them while they're there. [00:06:32] Extend a hand. [00:06:33] Bring them back to holiness. [00:06:35] Bring them back to righteousness. [00:06:36] The Bible says those who are spiritual, restore one another in the spirit of what? [00:06:41] Meekness. [00:06:43] Friends, that is where we need to. [00:06:44] You stole my scripture. [00:06:45] No, you followed my scripture because I was just, listen, spiritual discernment means don't figure out which side are you going to be on. [00:06:54] You should be not. [00:06:56] Can I say this? [00:06:58] Don't celebrate when a brother and sister falls. [00:07:01] That's right. [00:07:01] Do not celebrate when someone gets accused. [00:07:05] Don't jump and shout and be the first one to be Barbara Walters and expose it. [00:07:11] No, no, no. [00:07:13] We have to be very wise and careful how we tread this kind of waters because restoration, dad said it years ago, it's a dirty business. [00:07:22] That's right. [00:07:22] No one wants to be involved in restoration. [00:07:25] We want to be involved in the exposure and we want to get this. [00:07:30] Listen, when a fellow brethren fell years ago, I might use the word fallen because that's what we use. [00:07:37] A very well-known preacher fell before our eyes years and years ago. [00:07:44] And I got a call from a mentor of mine, a counselor friend of mine, Dr. Gary Smalley. [00:07:49] Good man. [00:07:50] And he said, I'm going to pick you up and I'm going to fly with you to go see this fellow brethren. [00:07:56] He needs our help. [00:07:58] At this moment, no one wanted to get close to him. [00:08:01] No one wanted to be identified with this person. [00:08:04] I even thought about it for a second. [00:08:06] Wait a minute. [00:08:07] If I get close to the fire, I'm going to get burned and smell like smoke. [00:08:12] Am I still going to be accepted in the church community? [00:08:15] Am I going to be invited to go speak? [00:08:18] What is that going to mean for my personal ministry? [00:08:21] All that went out the window. [00:08:24] Because a brother was in need of restoration. [00:08:27] Maybe not be restored back into the public affairs of ministry, but be restored in the family of God and be restored to his own family. [00:08:36] But I'm glad you quoted that scripture because we don't just believe it by faith. [00:08:43] We have to live it by experience because people accuse us every day, Ricky, of doing crazy things. [00:08:50] Yet it is the perception that you see on social media and how people edit things and how things are being talked about. [00:08:58] But I want to tell you something. [00:08:59] When you go through it yourself, you're going to need some mercy. [00:09:03] You're going to need some grace. [00:09:05] We are living in a time where the suddenlies are happening. [00:09:09] And the Bible talks about even the very elect will be deceived. [00:09:13] We're not just talking about one portion of scripture. [00:09:15] I'm talking about the whole thing. [00:09:17] It's time we put the scriptures back into context so they make sense. [00:09:22] So when the suddenlies do take place, where are we going to stand when it comes to the body of Christ? [00:09:29] That's right. [00:09:29] You know, there's a pressing issue amongst the church. [00:09:31] I'm not going to say what it is, but there's a large issue happening right now with a large church. [00:09:35] And I had a man of God and I love this man of God. [00:09:37] But he came to me and said, you know, what side of this situation are you on? [00:09:40] And I said, brother, there are no sides. [00:09:43] When we stand in righteousness and when we stand in holiness and when we stand on the word of God, we need not pick the side of one man or the other side. [00:09:50] We are solely focused on Christ, his righteousness, his holiness, and his redemptive power. [00:09:56] Friends, if we stop picking sides and we decide, I'm just going to stand on the word of God through this. [00:09:59] Friends, I promise you that will change our perspective on how we deal with other believers who have fallen into sin. [00:10:05] Friends, believers around you are going to fall into sin. [00:10:07] I urge you, continue to try to restore them in the spirit of meekness and meekness. [00:10:13] Take them to your pastor privately. [00:10:15] Take them to a mediator. [00:10:16] Take them to a counselor, friends. [00:10:18] Step in and say, how can I be the hands and feet of Jesus and help restore this person? [00:10:23] You know, half of the Christian world right now, especially in America, I'd say probably even more than half want to, they wouldn't be seen within a couple miles of the woman at the well. [00:10:32] Why? [00:10:32] Because she had a past. [00:10:33] She had things that had gone wrong in her life before and many people knew it. [00:10:37] Actually, the whole community knew it. [00:10:38] But you know what? [00:10:39] Jesus walked up to her and he had the conversation. [00:10:42] He had and he revealed himself to her. [00:10:44] Friends, what we need right now when people are fallen is for them to see the face of Jesus. [00:10:49] In the same capacity that she was revealed, Jesus, friend, reveal Jesus again to the fallen believer. [00:10:54] I've just so encouraged to tell you about that today. [00:10:56] It's not even on our notes. [00:10:56] No. [00:10:57] But I just wanted to tell you, friends, if you're watching this right now, it's probably around Christmas time. [00:11:01] It might be after Christmas time, depending on when we air this. [00:11:03] But friends, in 2025, let's seek to restore back to the body of Christ what already belongs to Jesus. [00:11:11] It is a pure, a holy, and a righteous bride. [00:11:13] And that is what we need to be striving for. [00:11:15] The Bible says, as a man thinketh, so is he. [00:11:19] Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will speak. [00:11:22] Amen. [00:11:23] This season, hide the word in your heart that you can speak the proverbs, that you can speak the psalms, that you can speak the revelation. [00:11:34] Listen, hide the word. [00:11:35] There's no substitute to the word. [00:11:38] Your opinion means absolutely nothing. [00:11:41] The word, the word, the word is what changes that trajectory of every conversation, even if it looks so bad out there. [00:11:49] Amen. [00:11:50] Yet it is the word that is going to give you the foundation. [00:11:54] And theologians are going to argue about it. [00:11:57] But yet there's no substitution to the word. [00:12:00] That's right. [00:12:00] When you hide the word and when you get into the presence of the Holy Spirit, I want to tell you something. [00:12:06] God will begin to reveal to you and give you the discernment that you're going to need in order to navigate in the waters that we're in right now because it is a shift that has taken place. [00:12:20] And while Christianity is in turmoil, there's earthquakes going on. [00:12:25] There's wars and rumors of wars. [00:12:28] The world's still going on, isn't it? [00:12:29] And I want to tell you something. [00:12:30] Get ready because while the church is busy gossiping, uh-oh, the preparation of the return of the Lord is just around the corner. [00:12:42] That's right. [00:12:43] I truly believe we're living in those last days. [00:12:45] We're living in that Matthew 24, that Mark 13, the Luke 21. [00:12:49] We're living in the book of Revelation. [00:12:51] And I truly believe that we will see the return of the Son of Man, that we will see Jesus rip through those clouds in all of his glory. === The Fear of God (12:21) === [00:12:58] And every single eye will look up and recognize that is the one, the true, and the living God. [00:13:04] You know, today we have with us Dove Schwartz. [00:13:06] He's a Jewish believer and Messiah, Jesus, friends. [00:13:09] He believes in Jesus, and he is the founder and director of the television program, Watch Therefore. [00:13:14] Dove and his wife currently live in Houston, Texas, and they have two adult children. [00:13:18] You have two grandchildren as well. [00:13:20] That's right. [00:13:20] That's right. [00:13:21] No more on the way that we need to know about. [00:13:23] So far. [00:13:24] So far, no more. [00:13:25] I thought maybe we get some breaking news out of it. [00:13:27] So we'll see. [00:13:27] See, this is prophetic. [00:13:28] Maybe I'm going to get a phone call. [00:13:30] Hey, we want to thank you for being on the broadcast with us today, Dove. [00:13:32] All right. [00:13:32] Blessing to be with you. [00:13:33] Amen. [00:13:34] Thank you. [00:13:35] You know, I just want to ask you right off the top, if you don't mind, have you always believed in Jesus or have you converted to believing in Jesus? [00:13:42] You know, when I was a little boy, my little Jewish mother got saved in the Jesus movement in 1968. [00:13:49] You know, the hippies. [00:13:50] Jesus is far out, man. [00:13:53] So I was around all this when I was a kid, and I got on my knees and said the prayer and got in the water. [00:13:58] When I got to an age to choose Jesus, the Lord, or sin in this world, I rebelled, went away from the Lord, and from 14 years old to 32, I was a drug addict. [00:14:09] Amen. [00:14:09] Wow. [00:14:10] And then my little Jewish mother who lived in Israel by this time didn't stop praying for me. [00:14:15] If there's any mothers out there, don't stop praying. [00:14:17] They can run, but they can't hide. [00:14:19] Were you in America or were you in Israel? [00:14:21] She was in Israel. [00:14:22] I was in America. [00:14:23] And the Lord began hitting me in the ear with her prayers that went through the drugs and the alcohol and everything else. [00:14:30] And I learned the fear of God. [00:14:31] That's the beginning of wisdom. [00:14:33] Wow. [00:14:33] I lifted my hands in the air with tears streaming down my face one night and I was changed. [00:14:38] Wow. [00:14:38] And all I could think about was Jesus, Lord, and I didn't want drugs anymore. [00:14:41] Praise God. [00:14:42] And I just wanted to serve him. [00:14:43] My wife and I came to faith about the same time. [00:14:45] I was in 1995. [00:14:47] Amen. [00:14:48] And I haven't looked back. [00:14:50] I keep looking up and going forward. [00:14:52] Amen. [00:14:52] Looking up and going forward. [00:14:53] You know what's amazing what you just said? [00:14:56] Yesterday we were having lunch together with a couple of other guys and the word started talking through our experiences because we started talking about the fear of God. [00:15:10] Yeah, the holiness. [00:15:11] Isn't that amazing that when you get started, you get started with the fear of God. [00:15:16] And as you become a seasoned Christian, you begin to lose the fear of God and you find yourself in trouble. [00:15:23] That's right. [00:15:24] It's amazing that the foundation is the fear of God. [00:15:29] What keeps you is the fear of God. [00:15:31] What holds you is the fear of God. [00:15:33] And what will continue to move you forward is the fear of God. [00:15:36] Isn't it amazing that we talked about that yesterday? [00:15:39] Yet here you are talking about the fear of God. [00:15:42] It's the front door of wisdom. [00:15:44] And to not walk in the fear of the Lord is to walk in foolishness. [00:15:46] I've got to quote this man on that. [00:15:47] Wait a minute. [00:15:48] The fear of God is the front door of wisdom. [00:15:50] Praise God. [00:15:51] Here we're building churches on knowledge, on past. [00:15:57] Here, you're trying to hold your marriage on knowledge, not on wisdom. [00:16:01] We need wisdom. [00:16:02] There's a reason why the greatest, one of the greatest men that the Bible describes, Solomon, talks about he prayed for knowledge. [00:16:11] No, he prayed for wisdom. [00:16:14] All right, I'm going to be quiet. [00:16:15] Come on, preach it, brother. [00:16:17] Amen. [00:16:17] But you know, you talk about these kind of things. [00:16:19] You have a program here on the PTL Television Network. [00:16:21] It's called Blessing Israel Believers, and it airs at 11 a.m., right? [00:16:25] Is that right? [00:16:25] It's BIB TV, which is for Blessing Israeli Believers. [00:16:31] Amen. [00:16:32] Amen. [00:16:32] That's here on the PTL Television Network. [00:16:33] I want to play a clip of that. [00:16:34] Is that okay with you? [00:16:35] Oh, I love it. [00:16:35] Hey, if you haven't watched this program, here is a small clip of it. [00:16:38] But I encourage you to go to the PTL Television Network. [00:16:40] It's on video on demand as well as on our 24-hour network. [00:16:43] But watch this. [00:16:44] It's Blessing Israeli Believers, B-I-B. [00:16:47] And as disciples of Messiah Jesus, why should we care about blessing Israel? [00:16:52] Well, let's see what the Bible says. [00:16:55] The Lord is speaking to our earthly spiritual father, Abram. [00:16:59] Later, he changes his name to Abraham. [00:17:02] And in Genesis 12, he says, I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. [00:17:08] And in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. [00:17:11] Yes? [00:17:12] And that covenant is passed then to Isaac and then to Jacob. [00:17:17] But then the Lord changes Jacob's name to Israel and the promises go to him and his descendants. [00:17:25] And then in Exodus, the children of Israel are in bondage under Pharaoh and the Lord our God, who we find out in the New Testament is Jesus Christ. [00:17:36] The Lord our God tells Moses to tell the mightiest man in the earth, Pharaoh, to let his people, the children of Israel, go because he wants them to serve him, the Lord our God, and that Israel is his firstborn son. [00:17:55] And of course, later than in the Bible, we see in Psalm 122, the Lord our God, Jesus, he says, from heaven through the psalmist, pray for the peace of Jerusalem. [00:18:12] May they prosper who love you. [00:18:15] And you might say, yes, but Dove, that's the Old Testament. [00:18:20] What about some New Testament regarding these matters? [00:18:23] Well, I'm glad you asked because in Romans chapter 10, verse 1, the Lord, by the Holy Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, cries out, Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. [00:18:39] And then in Romans 11, we're told to think rightly about the Jewish people. [00:18:44] For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you become wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. [00:18:56] And we're seeing very soon that King Messiah Jesus is going to return. [00:19:02] Blessing Israeli Believers is available on the PTL Television Network and BIBTV.com. [00:19:09] B-I-B-TV.org.org. [00:19:11] See, this is why I had to confirm. [00:19:14] That's why you asked. [00:19:15] I put a question mark out at the end of that for a reason. [00:19:17] We're going to put it on the screen so that way you can see it. [00:19:19] It's going to be there, B-I-B-TV.org. [00:19:22] That's right. [00:19:22] I want you guys to go and watch that. [00:19:23] What are other ways that people can get connected with your ministry, social media, websites? [00:19:28] Yes, of course, our website, which is blessingisraeliebelievers.com, B-I-B-TV.org. [00:19:34] That's one way. [00:19:34] Also, our contact information is on the screen at every program. [00:19:39] And we love talking with people, praying, and sharing with people. [00:19:44] I have books, of course, that help people understand the reason why it's so important to bless the believers in Israel. [00:19:52] You know, most of Christian money with really good hearts from people, Christians, goes to unbelieving Israeli organizations in Israel that are doing good things, but they're not doing Yeshua Jesus things. [00:20:06] Wow. [00:20:06] Our Israeli believing partners are getting out the gospel, making disciples, planting believing congregations, helping poor and needy and Holocaust survivors in the name of Messiah Jesus and saving babies from abortion as well. [00:20:21] Amen. [00:20:22] You have two books right here. [00:20:22] I'm just going to mention, if you don't mind, this right here is Watch, Therefore, and Be Ready Today. [00:20:27] Is this available on your website? [00:20:29] It is. [00:20:29] It's available on your websites. [00:20:30] And then we have this one as well. [00:20:31] It's called Activate the Blessings. [00:20:33] This is also available on your website. [00:20:35] Friends, I encourage you, go support this ministry. [00:20:37] You're supporting Jesus to the Israeli Jews in Israel, friends. [00:20:42] This is important because you guys partner with a lot of ministries over there. [00:20:45] You're doing work yourself. [00:20:46] I'm sure that these Jewish people are hearing the name Jesus. [00:20:51] Yeah. [00:20:51] Yeshua in Hebrew is Jesus, right? [00:20:55] And so what a critical time the believers are here. [00:20:59] Now think of this. [00:21:01] The Lord intentionally brings the Jewish people back from the nations of the world, physically births Israel, but not yet spiritually. [00:21:08] 99.5% of Israelis don't yet believe in Messiah Yeshua. [00:21:13] And the Lord has brought this tiny little seed. [00:21:16] Can I read something to you from Romans chapter 9? [00:21:19] Please. [00:21:20] This is amazing. [00:21:22] Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel. [00:21:24] Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant will be saved, for he will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth. [00:21:36] This is the Lord bringing the Jews back to Israel and saving a remnant when he returns at the end of the tribulation. [00:21:44] Praise God. [00:21:44] But we are in this once in the history of humanity time where there's great sin in Israel. [00:21:50] There's the blindness of the Jewish people, homosexuality, abortion being against Messiah Yeshua. [00:21:57] Why isn't the Lord blasting Israel off the face of the earth like he did with Sodom and Gomorrah during such sin, right? [00:22:05] Here's the answer in verse 29. [00:22:07] Check this out. [00:22:07] I'd love to hear it. [00:22:08] And as Isaiah said before, unless the Lord of hosts had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom and we would have been made like Gomorrah. [00:22:18] Wow. [00:22:18] There's a seed of the righteousness of Messiah Jesus, where the Lord took Lot and his family out to pour out his wrath on Sodom. [00:22:28] He's done the opposite and put a seed of righteousness. [00:22:32] About half a percent of the Israelis, believers across the promised land. [00:22:36] That's what seed. [00:22:37] With the righteousness of Messiah Jesus in them, preserving the land and people of Israel from judgment until the return of the Lord. [00:22:44] Amen. [00:22:45] Never been a time like it. [00:22:46] Never will be another time. [00:22:48] They're like God's special ops in the promised land right now. [00:22:52] And we can partner with them. [00:22:54] And the purpose of BIBTV is most people in America, Christians who love Israel, they don't know there's Israeli believers. [00:23:03] And they don't think about partnering with our brothers in Christ. [00:23:06] Like Galatians says that you just read. [00:23:09] Do good to all, but especially those of the household of faith. [00:23:14] There's a blessing attached to it, right? [00:23:16] Genesis 12. [00:23:17] Wow. [00:23:18] If we only understood, Ricky, that there's a blessing attached to the Jewish community, I think we will understand that the argument and the fight of anti-Semitism is strong, but yet the church, when we understand that there's a blessing, though, on the connection, it will change everything. [00:23:42] I don't understand. [00:23:43] And maybe you guys can help me. [00:23:44] I don't understand why there's a lot of Christian churches and ministries that are against Israel. [00:23:50] The replacement theology was one of those really toxic, I'll just say it like it is, things that hit the church where they say, oh, Israel's no longer. [00:23:58] The Jewish people are no longer. [00:23:59] The church has replaced it. [00:24:01] I say, okay, I'll believe you if you can show me that right here. [00:24:04] Hello. [00:24:04] I'll believe you. [00:24:05] Honestly, I'll change my theology today if you can prove it to me with the word of God, not with the words. [00:24:10] Without doing scriptural gymnastics. [00:24:11] Oh, no, no. [00:24:12] Yeah, I need to see these verses in context. [00:24:15] Yeah, because trust me, hey, I can take two words from one verse and three words from another and make it all fit together how I want. [00:24:22] Or I can take any amount of verses from 1 opinions chapter 3 or 1, you know. [00:24:27] I'm telling you right now, but Brens, if it's not lined up with the word of God, we cannot believe it. [00:24:32] As they say so many times. [00:24:34] If you torture the scriptures long enough, you can make them confess to anything. [00:24:37] That's right. [00:24:37] That's the truth. [00:24:38] That's a good saying. [00:24:39] That's the truth. [00:24:40] That is. [00:24:40] Friends, that's why, but Mano, that answered that. [00:24:42] You know, I really believe that there is a replacement theology. [00:24:45] And all that is is the devil trying to convolute scriptures, trying to change them, trying to twist them enough that we don't bless Israel. [00:24:51] Why? [00:24:51] Because, friends, he doesn't want you blessed. [00:24:53] You think the devil, the one who is opposed to our faith, wants you to live a blessed life? [00:24:58] Absolutely not. [00:24:59] Yeah, sure, he doesn't mind if you have money and you have things and you have worldly things, things that have no benefit to your soul. === How Odd of God (03:51) === [00:25:05] But when you bless Israel, he knows that's a slap in his face. [00:25:08] So that's why I believe he made that to go say, hey, you know what? [00:25:11] Israel is no longer important. [00:25:12] We're going to replace them. [00:25:13] It's true. [00:25:13] There's an old saying that goes something like this. [00:25:16] How odd of God to choose the Jews, but not so odd as those who choose the Jewish God to hate the Jews. [00:25:25] Wow. [00:25:25] How about that? [00:25:26] Wow. [00:25:27] I hope you guys understood. [00:25:28] If you didn't rewind, I'll say it again. [00:25:30] So odd of God or how odd of God to choose the Jews, but not so odd as those who choose the Jewish God to hate the Jews. [00:25:39] Isn't that something? [00:25:40] Yeah, a lot of people forget Jesus was a Jew. [00:25:42] And that's Jesus a Jew. [00:25:44] Jesus is a Jew. [00:25:45] That's right. [00:25:45] So currently. [00:25:46] He's returning to sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem. [00:25:51] That's pretty Jewish. [00:25:52] That's very Jewish. [00:25:53] And that's where he'll rule and reign from. [00:25:55] You know, I want to ask you this question because we've seen a lot, especially in the geopolitics world. [00:25:59] Trump has been brought in as the president-elect to be the next president of the United States, President 47. [00:26:05] And we'll see, you know, he was the president who, after many, many presidents, I'm talking decades of a lot of talking the talk, but never walking the walk, he said, I will move the embassy to its rightful place in Jerusalem. [00:26:16] He actually did it. [00:26:18] What is Israel's real response to President-elect Donald Trump becoming our next president here in just a few weeks? [00:26:24] Such an important question. [00:26:25] And there's even a place in the Golam Heights called Lamont Trump, which means Trump Heights. [00:26:32] Wow. [00:26:32] It's a little village that when President Trump gets back into office is going to keep his Balaf from troubling that little village and it's going to grow. [00:26:40] Yeah. [00:26:40] Well, we have believing friends in Israel and they're giddy. [00:26:43] I mean, they're so happy. [00:26:44] They're jumping up and down and thankful for the Lord doing this. [00:26:49] And I even have some pre-believing Israeli friends. [00:26:53] Amen. [00:26:53] And they're kind of left-leaning. [00:26:55] You know, in Israel, we have, and I say we, because I've lived in Israel, I have Israeli citizenship. [00:27:00] We have our own left-leaning leftists in Israel too that aren't so happy about it. [00:27:06] But I even have some left-leaning Israeli friends that have American citizenship that voted for President Trump. [00:27:12] Wow. [00:27:12] Wow. [00:27:12] They see how important it is that he's in office. [00:27:15] And why? [00:27:16] Well, think of this. [00:27:17] He's got people like Mike Huckabee as the ambassador to Israel. [00:27:22] Oh, they're so happy. [00:27:24] So they're happy. [00:27:25] That was a question I wanted to ask. [00:27:26] Mike Huckabee, obviously, he was the governor of Arkansas here in the United States of America. [00:27:30] He also ran for president of the United States in 2016. [00:27:33] We love Governor Mike Huckabee. [00:27:35] He has been on this broadcast. [00:27:36] He's a good man. [00:27:37] He has a solid moral compass. [00:27:39] And he was picked to be the ambassador to Israel. [00:27:43] I wanted to know how do Israeli citizens feel about that? [00:27:45] Oh, they're so happy. [00:27:46] Many of them. [00:27:47] Many of them are. [00:27:48] Even those who aren't so happy with the first administration because they just didn't know and they bought into a lot of the propaganda. [00:27:55] Now they see. [00:27:57] Many of them see, and I believe it's a true witness. [00:27:59] Can I say this also? [00:28:01] I believe it's an expression of God's mercy and grace upon America. [00:28:06] Amen. [00:28:06] I really do. [00:28:07] Because I'll just say this. [00:28:10] Programs like this, men of God like you, there's a remnant across America in the church that is crying out to the Lord for mercy and grace. [00:28:18] Our country has done everything that God says don't do or I'll judge your country. [00:28:23] That's right. [00:28:23] And so the mercy of the Lord is what so many, including I know you all, have been praying for. [00:28:30] And I believe this is a window of grace and mercy. [00:28:34] I pray so that the Lord is giving us. [00:28:36] And this is an expression of it because truly the Lord will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse them. === Clashing Views on Israel (09:56) === [00:28:42] That's right. [00:28:43] And I promise you this, friends, there is one God who created everything. [00:28:47] It is the eternal God. [00:28:48] It is the God whose son is Jesus Christ who died on a cross so that we could be brought in. [00:28:53] I will never mince my words on that. [00:28:55] There are not multiple ways to heaven, friends. [00:28:57] There is one way to heaven. [00:28:59] There is one God who sits on a throne alone, and there will never be another that can contest him ever. [00:29:05] And that is for eternity. [00:29:06] And friends, if you know how long that is, Google it. [00:29:08] It lasts forever. [00:29:09] It'll never end. [00:29:10] I just want to let you know right now, friends, we must stand rooted in the word of God in these times we're living in. [00:29:16] We are seeing anti-Semitism at an insane rate in the United States of America. [00:29:20] Yes, we have our churches who are contending, who are fighting, who are filling their pews every single Sunday, Wednesday, other nights of the week, and they are praying, Lord, have mercy on our country. [00:29:30] They're doing their spiritual sackcloth and ashes. [00:29:33] They're fasting and saying, Lord, look down and have mercy on our country. [00:29:37] Yet we have college campuses across, I mean, Ivy League college campuses, the places where our top, you know, our top lawyers will be trained, our top doctors will be trained. [00:29:47] The people, Monda, who will become our legislators, our lawmakers, our Supreme Court justices, our presidents. [00:29:53] This is typically where these people are trained, and they are ravished right now with anti-Semitism. [00:29:59] You know, there's this thing called the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act. [00:30:02] I don't know if you've heard of that. [00:30:04] They are trying to pass this right now in Congress. [00:30:06] So what would this mean to you if they passed the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act? [00:30:10] Well, I've looked at it, and one of the key things to me that jumps out is that it requires the Department of Education to categorize anti-Semitism along anti-Zionism as the same thing as anti-Semitism. [00:30:24] Here's why that's important. [00:30:25] The folks you just mentioned on the campus, this is how they, in a trendy way, get away from the right stigma of anti-Semitism. [00:30:33] They say, well, we're not anti-Semitic. [00:30:35] No, no, we're anti-Zion, right? [00:30:38] Well, this, according to the Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, their definition of anti-Semitism is anti-Zionism. [00:30:46] The church, one of the same. [00:30:47] And so this act would help enforce that through the Department of Education. [00:30:51] And think of this, Ricky and Mondo, that to be anti-Zion, what is Zion? [00:30:58] It's Jerusalem. [00:30:59] It's Israel. [00:31:00] It's the Jewish people. [00:31:02] It's our past loved ones in Christ in heaven. [00:31:05] Hebrews chapter 12, the heavenly Zion, New Jerusalem, right? [00:31:08] The heavenly Jerusalem. [00:31:10] And so to be anti-Zion is to be antichrist. [00:31:15] To be anti-Zion is to be antichrist because Christ Jesus is the God of Zion. [00:31:20] Yahweh the Father, Yahweh the Son, Yahweh the Holy Spirit, the God of Zion. [00:31:24] So do you believe that is why the devil loves drumming up these anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist movements across these campuses? [00:31:31] Absolutely. [00:31:32] Really, I think it's on purpose, friends. [00:31:34] There's a reason he's not going to community colleges in the middle of Missouri. [00:31:38] And trust me, I love Missouri. [00:31:39] I love it. [00:31:39] But we're not drumming these things up. [00:31:41] They're drumming them up at our Ivy League, our top universities across our country, saying the next generation of your American leadership will hate the God of Israel and will hate Israel. [00:31:52] Can I say a couple things about that, what you just said? [00:31:54] I read this morning in the Jerusalem Post that Senator Tom Cotton is introducing a bill that would forbid federal discourse to use the term West Bank and require them to use Judea and Samaria, recognizing the Jewish right to their biblical homeland. [00:32:14] Yes? [00:32:14] So these are things, like I said, go, Jesus, Lord, go. [00:32:19] This is his grace raising up leaders that can think halfway straight. [00:32:24] And so with regard to all that's going on on the campuses, here's the upside to it. [00:32:30] I think this is what it's taken to wake so much of the church up. [00:32:35] You know, that's true. [00:32:36] Without a Goliath, there's no King David. [00:32:38] That's right. [00:32:39] Without a cross, there's no resurrection. [00:32:41] And this opposition is right. [00:32:44] There's a righteous indignation by the Ruachodesh, the Holy Spirit, rising up within us to say, no, this is what the Word of God says, and we're going to walk in it. [00:32:54] And we're going to stand for the country he's placed us in, the United States of America. [00:32:58] We're going to cry out to him. [00:33:00] And while much of the world, look at Europe, is drowning in Jew hatred. [00:33:05] That's right. [00:33:06] There's this holy pushback here in the States. [00:33:09] And I say, oh, thank you, Lord Jesus, for the Judeo-Christian heritage of this country. [00:33:14] Amen. [00:33:15] You know, we have Israel as our military ally, and we need to continue to support them in that capacity. [00:33:20] But friends, the church in America needs to continue to support Israel as our spiritual ally as well. [00:33:27] I want to ask you, why are so many churches pushing the pro-Palestinian message and the anti-Israel message right now? [00:33:34] Churches here in America. [00:33:36] Think of this. [00:33:38] In the Abraham covenant, there's, I'll bless those who bless you and curse those, the curse of the Abraham covenant. [00:33:45] How did Pharaoh kill the Israeli baby boys in Egypt by drowning? [00:33:49] What did the Lord do to Pharaoh's army? [00:33:51] To drown them. [00:33:52] He drowned them. [00:33:53] Daniel was thrown in the den at the hand of his accusers. [00:33:56] That's right. [00:33:56] With the lions, Daniel slept on a lion's skin rug. [00:33:59] That's right. [00:34:00] And that's right. [00:34:00] His accusers, his accusers and their families were eaten by those lions. [00:34:05] And then Wicked Haman built a gallows for Mordecai, but Mordecai didn't. [00:34:10] Haman and his ten sons went to the gallows. [00:34:12] The reason I say that is the Palestine is from the ancient enemies named Philistines. [00:34:20] The Roman Emperor Hadrian named it that in 135 AD. [00:34:23] As a disrespect towards the country. [00:34:25] Right. [00:34:26] And so today, the Palestinians, Philistines, it's the same spirit, different people group, same spirit, right? [00:34:33] And it is what the world has been using to club Israel, to try to club Israel to death. [00:34:38] So as the churches participate in that, it's very dangerous. [00:34:42] Why? [00:34:43] Here's my perspective on your question. [00:34:45] I believe if they're saved, the Lord will chasten them in the church who do this via the curse of the Abraham covenant. [00:34:52] He'll bring them to repentance. [00:34:54] Wow. [00:34:54] Because where does judgment begin first? [00:34:56] At the house of God. [00:34:57] 1 Peter 4:17. [00:34:58] And Isaiah. [00:35:00] And so if they're not saved, if they're counterfeit, if they're wolves in sheep's clothing, well, then they'll experience the wrath of God via the curse of the Abraham covenant. [00:35:11] I'm telling you, friends, this is an episode you need to DVR and watch twice. [00:35:14] That is important. [00:35:15] You know, I want to ask you another question. [00:35:17] We're going to get deep into some scripture about Israel. [00:35:20] You know, they're at war right now, friends. [00:35:21] You need to understand that just because mainstream media has maybe trickled down of talking about it every single day. [00:35:27] Israel is still at war. [00:35:28] And people want to know: is this the Psalm 83 and the Isaiah 17 war that's going on right now? [00:35:34] Wow, it's such a great question. [00:35:36] I would say it like this, and with what I was saying a moment ago, the world has been trying to club Israel with radical Islam, right? [00:35:44] And so, what is the world being clubbed with by the Lord right now? [00:35:49] Radical Islam, right? [00:35:51] The number one name for baby boys in England is Muhammad, right? [00:35:54] And even here in America, we've gotten some judgment from that through the years, right? [00:35:59] And so there's a heavenly war going on in this earth right in front of our eyes. [00:36:04] Yes. [00:36:05] And with regard to Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17, if we're not in that war, it's developing right in front of us. [00:36:12] That's right. [00:36:12] We're laying the groundwork for it. [00:36:13] So here's what we'll see. [00:36:14] We'll see Jordan go, and we'll see Egypt join the others against Israel right now, which is in Jordan. [00:36:21] It's Edom, Moab, and Ammon. [00:36:24] And so Damascus, Isaiah 17, ceasing from being a city, we have a pic, I think, that I sent. [00:36:30] We lived in Israel at the top of a mountain overlooking the Sea of Galilee. [00:36:35] When people would walk out our back door to visit us, had never been there, they'd go, oh, it would take their breath. [00:36:39] It was like a heavenly postcard on earth, right? [00:36:42] And sure. [00:36:43] And so, yeah. [00:36:44] That's right outside of our back door. [00:36:46] Wow. [00:36:47] And so the thing is, at night, we would hear the Israeli Air Force flying over our house to Damascus to bomb Damascus. [00:36:55] And we would pray for them on their way and we would hear them fly back. [00:36:59] And then we'd watch it on Fox News a few hours later. [00:37:01] Wow. [00:37:02] Isn't that something? [00:37:04] And so if we're not in that war, it's developing right in front of us. [00:37:08] And I'll tell you one thing. [00:37:09] If I had a house in Damascus right now, there's two words I can think of, for sale. [00:37:14] I put a sign out front and get out of there. [00:37:16] You need to be out of there. [00:37:18] Well, friends, we need to continue to support Israel. [00:37:20] I know the Jim Baker family show, the PTL television network, until the Lord comes back. [00:37:24] And even after that, friends, we will continue to support the nation of Israel. [00:37:28] We will continue to show our unwavering support for the nation of Israel and support ministries who are doing something good for Israel. [00:37:35] Pastor Dove, I want to thank you for what you do for the nation of Israel. [00:37:38] I know you are an Israeli believer. [00:37:40] You are Jewish, but you really do love Israel, not just because of ethnic background, but because you have a passion for God's people. [00:37:47] And I want to say thank you for that. [00:37:50] God bless you. [00:37:50] We love you. [00:37:51] One way we do, Mondo, I wear this shirt all the time. [00:37:53] I get so many, I've only gotten one comment about it in a negative way. [00:37:56] And I was at a store, I was a box store. [00:37:58] You know, it's like where you go buy wood and tools and stuff like that. [00:38:01] I said, ah, whatever. [00:38:02] You know, I'm like, what, one for nine right now? [00:38:04] I got nine good compliments on it. [00:38:05] But I love it because it's a witnessing tool, Mondo. [00:38:07] What this is, is it allows me to go out there and let people know where I stand, but it also goes to support the ministry. [00:38:12] That's why I wear this. [00:38:13] And then also, my friend Darren, he's the head of security here. [00:38:16] He got me onto this shirt as well. [00:38:18] It's the Israeli Defense Forces shirt. === Steadfast American Affiliate Program (04:33) === [00:38:19] I love wearing that too. [00:38:20] Why? [00:38:20] I serve in the United States Army. [00:38:22] I love it. [00:38:22] I love what I do. [00:38:23] But I let them know, friends, I, for me individually, not representative of the DOD, but man, I support the nation of Israel and I'll do whatever I can to make sure that they have their right to continue to defend themselves. [00:38:34] And if you want one of those t-shirts, you can go to jimbakershow.com and go to the Steadfast American. [00:38:42] That's an affiliate program. [00:38:43] We've started with this American company, and they're blessing our ministry. [00:38:48] They're also blessing you. [00:38:50] Call us today, 1-888-988-1588. [00:38:54] Christmas is around the corner. [00:38:56] We want to make sure that you have gifts that are going to be meaningful this season, not only for your family, but also for this ministry. [00:39:04] It's been a long way since 2020 and everything that we've gone through. [00:39:08] And if it wasn't for your support, we would not be here today. [00:39:13] I can honestly tell you that your prayers, you standing with Jim Baker and Lori Baker and this ministry, our family, has been the reason that we can continue to bring the voice of the prophets and continue to preach the gospel around the world. [00:39:28] Make this Christmas a season to remember. [00:39:32] You know, when you're at the website, I want you to visit the affiliate program New Mana because we have a grab and go bag that has this credential that is absolutely exclusive for you or beautiful partners and our friends. [00:39:47] And we want to make this available. [00:39:49] Again, New Mana is the affiliate program, and you're going to find different items that they are offering right now. [00:39:56] And I want to tell you something. [00:39:57] There is no greater time than today to be prepared. [00:40:01] That's right. [00:40:02] If I had the time to show you a lot of the recalls that started happening as soon as Thanksgiving was over, the recalls began to take place. [00:40:13] They had to wait till after the holidays. [00:40:14] That way we will purchase all their stuff. [00:40:17] I'm talking about from frozen chicken to meats to vegetables and milk and eggs. [00:40:24] I can go on and on. [00:40:25] Yet God has preserved this ministry to be able to bring you information that it was not just yesterday that we started. [00:40:35] It goes all the way to 20 years ago to get you prepared. [00:40:39] And we don't care if people laugh at us, people make videos about it. [00:40:42] But yet, when you look at the eyes of people that have lost everything and all they have is the food that we bring to them, I can honestly tell you that it's worth being laughed at. [00:40:53] Amen. [00:40:54] Listen, make a difference this season. [00:40:56] Visit the website or give us a call and check out New Mana for more information. [00:41:02] And they're working with churches right now to make sure that you have what you need this season in order to get your church prepared, get your family prepared. [00:41:12] And I love the fact that they're working with every single partner that are calling to financially make available payments where you buy now and pay later. [00:41:23] They're not worried about making money. [00:41:25] I can tell you that. [00:41:26] They're worried about if you don't have the food, if it's too late to be ready. [00:41:30] Listen, a few hours ago, the whole world watched as a warning of a tsunami hitting the West Coast. [00:41:38] And people ran immediately to the grocery stores and people began to panic. [00:41:44] Those people that panic are people that are not prepared. [00:41:48] But if you have a plan, you know what you need to do in order to be reactive to the actions that are taking place. [00:41:58] We have talked about the ring of fire in the West Coast and they're one event from changing the landscape of America. [00:42:06] Wouldn't you want to be ready? [00:42:08] What are the chances of you being ready today and how your response will make a difference? [00:42:14] Amen. [00:42:15] You making that call can be the difference maker this season in your family's life. [00:42:20] Call for more information, 1-888-988-1588, or visit our website, jimbakershow.com for more information. [00:42:29] Amen. [00:42:30] You know, there's an old adage that says to fail to plan is to plan to fail. [00:42:35] And truly, we believe and we stand by that, friends, not just physically, but spiritually as well. === Putting On The Full Armor (09:45) === [00:42:39] You need to wake up every single day and have that Ephesians 6 moment where you are truly putting on the full armor of God. [00:42:46] Why? [00:42:46] Because, friends, if you're not doing that every single day, I'm talking actively every single day, then you are planning to fail. [00:42:52] You need to have the armor to wage war against the principalities, the cosmic rulers of darkness, against the enemy who hates you because you love Jesus. [00:43:02] Friends, I promise you, when you put that full armor of God on, you will be protected by the word of God and by Jesus. [00:43:08] Why? [00:43:08] Because it'll be like me and Mondo standing with each other and Christ standing in front of us. [00:43:12] And I promise you, friend, if Jesus is standing in front of you in the middle of a war, you're safe. [00:43:16] You're good. [00:43:17] You are protected. [00:43:18] And you have the blessings of God on you. [00:43:20] You know, you wrote a book called Activating the Blessing. [00:43:22] And I want to talk about that today because this right here, I want to know why it is important for believers to know how to activate blessings. [00:43:30] Because they just assume, you know, a lot of people, especially when I've talked to my generation, Monteaux, they say, well, I said the prayer one time when I was 12, so I can't understand why I'm not blessed right now. [00:43:40] But they're not actively living a Christian lifestyle or they're not actively walking out their Christian faith. [00:43:44] So they're trying to figure out, well, how do I get into the place where I can activate the blessing of God on my life? [00:43:49] Great question. [00:43:50] And here we are in these modern days of Noah and Lot, where so much of the world is shaking their fist in God's face and cursed for it, right? [00:43:57] But our Heavenly Father wants to bless. [00:44:00] And so this book is activate the blessings of the Abraham Covenant. [00:44:05] It speaks of the seven promises of the Abraham covenant in Genesis 12 and helps believers in Messiah Jesus understand who we are in Messiah and what that means for our responsibilities to Israel and our own identity that's in the seven promises, not replacing Israel that's foolishness, but along with Israel in covenant with Israel's God. [00:44:30] Yeah. [00:44:30] And so it's so important because our Heavenly Father wants to bless us. [00:44:34] Amen. [00:44:35] Now, would you briefly remind us of the seven promises given to Abraham and why are they important today? [00:44:41] Good. [00:44:41] Well, Abram, his name was changed to Abraham, so I'm going to go with that. [00:44:45] But in Genesis 12, he was still Abram. [00:44:47] I'm going to call him Abraham. [00:44:48] So the first promise to Abraham was, I will make of you a great nation. [00:44:53] And we know that that covenant was passed to Isaac and then to Jacob, and the Lord changed Jacob's name to Israel and their descendants. [00:45:00] That's the nation of Israel. [00:45:02] But think of this, Ricky. [00:45:03] In 1 Peter chapter 2, verses 9 and 10, we see that Jew and Gentile in Messiah Jesus are called a royal priesthood, a holy nation. [00:45:15] That's right. [00:45:15] Wow. [00:45:16] So there's identity in that for believers in Messiah Jesus, Jew and Gentile. [00:45:21] Yes? [00:45:21] Now, I'm going quickly through this, and I'm going to spend a little bit more time, if I can, on the seventh promise. [00:45:25] Please do. [00:45:25] The second one is, I will bless you. [00:45:28] Anyone out there blessed in Messiah Jesus? [00:45:30] Amen. [00:45:30] Every day. [00:45:31] He says, the third one, I will make your name great. [00:45:34] And in the book of Revelation, the Lord speaking to one of the churches says, for those who overcome, how do we overcome this wicked world? [00:45:40] By our faith. [00:45:42] For those who overcome, they have a new name the Lord will give them. [00:45:46] I will make of you a great name. [00:45:48] Right? [00:45:49] And you shall be a blessing. [00:45:50] What could be a blessing like carrying the gospel, the person of Christ in us into a lost and dying world every day? [00:46:00] We are a light and we're sold to preserving influence and we have the eternal gospel of Jesus Christ to share with others. [00:46:08] And then there's, I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you. [00:46:11] Of course, that's for Israel. [00:46:13] Yet also there's great protection for disciples of Messiah Jesus. [00:46:18] I love the old saying, a disciple of Christ Jesus is indestructible until the Lord is finished with their time and life in this earth. [00:46:26] Amen. [00:46:26] Right? [00:46:27] And then the seventh promise, which is so important for any Gentiles who might be watching in Christ Jesus. [00:46:34] Now, my father was a Gentile, my mother Jewish, so I play both sides of the fence as I'm explaining this. [00:46:40] Okay? [00:46:40] And so let's look at this seventh promise in the New Testament in the book of Galatians, chapter 3. [00:46:47] And this is where in chapter 15 of Genesis, the Lord is confirming the Abraham covenant in blood. [00:46:52] He quotes that. [00:46:53] Look at verses 6 through 9. [00:46:56] Just as Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness, he was righteous by faith. [00:47:02] In what? [00:47:03] Therefore know only that those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. [00:47:07] And this scripture foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, in you all the nations shall be blessed. [00:47:20] Amen. [00:47:21] So then, those who are of faith are what? [00:47:24] Blessed with believing Abraham. [00:47:28] Wow. [00:47:29] Now, think of that in this context in Genesis 15. [00:47:35] The Lord is speaking to Abraham in verse 1 and says, after these things, Genesis 15, 1, after these things, the word of Yahweh, the Lord in caps, came to Abram in a vision saying, do not be afraid, Abram. [00:47:48] I am your what? [00:47:50] Shield and great reward. [00:47:52] Amen. [00:47:53] Wait, I've believed in the gospel preached to Abraham, the gospel of Jesus Christ. [00:47:57] Our Lord Jesus fulfills that in all the covenants, the Abraham covenant, the David covenant, right? [00:48:03] And so I'm a child of Abraham. [00:48:05] And if he says, don't be afraid, Abraham, then he says, don't be afraid, Ricky. [00:48:10] Wow. [00:48:11] Don't be afraid, Mondo. [00:48:13] Come on, that's a good word. [00:48:14] Don't be afraid, Dov. [00:48:15] What do you mean? [00:48:16] Look at the monsters all around us today. [00:48:21] Hell is attacking the earth like never before. [00:48:24] Yeah. [00:48:24] And he says to you, put your name there. [00:48:27] Put your name there. [00:48:28] Don't be afraid. [00:48:29] Why? [00:48:30] Because the same God who made this covenant with Abraham, Jesus, our Lord from heaven, man, yes, he's your shield. [00:48:37] Wow. [00:48:38] He's not your great reward. [00:48:39] He's your exceedingly great reward. [00:48:42] Praise God. [00:48:43] And see, if he's my exceedingly great reward, then I, like Abraham, am looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. [00:48:52] What does that mean for me? [00:48:53] That's a future worth living for today. [00:48:57] Amen. [00:48:59] So how will the Abraham covenant affect the planet here, the entire planet, not just the house of believers? [00:49:05] Well, think of this. [00:49:07] The most impacting way, and this sure makes a point of how serious this covenant is, is during the tribulation, the wrath of the Lamb is going to be poured out. [00:49:18] And this should really provoke us to want to get people to Christ Jesus so they don't get the mark of the beast and they don't go to hell, right? [00:49:29] And so think of this. [00:49:33] The Lord, in Isaiah 24, he speaks of this everlasting covenant. [00:49:40] Let me tell you something. [00:49:42] And in 1 Chronicles 16, we're not going to go there. [00:49:44] In 1 Chronicles 16, the Lord calls the Abraham covenant the everlasting covenant. [00:49:50] Okay? [00:49:50] In Psalm 105, he calls it the everlasting covenant. [00:49:54] Okay? [00:49:55] Say it with me at home. [00:49:56] The everlasting covenant. [00:49:58] Okay? [00:49:58] Now, look at Isaiah 24 with me. [00:50:01] It's important to understand the everlasting covenant. [00:50:04] And we're going to look at verses 4 through 6. [00:50:07] I'll bless those who bless you. [00:50:09] I'll curse those who curse you. [00:50:10] The curse of the everlasting covenant. [00:50:11] Isaiah 24, 6. [00:50:13] Isaiah 24, verses 4 through 6. [00:50:16] Can I go ahead and read? [00:50:17] Please. [00:50:18] The earth mourns and fades away. [00:50:21] The world languishes and fades away. [00:50:23] The haughty people of the earth languish. [00:50:26] The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. [00:50:37] Therefore, the curse has devoured the earth. [00:50:42] And those who dwell in it are desolate. [00:50:44] Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men are left. [00:50:50] The curse of the Abraham covenant right now is enveloping the earth and is going to burn the earth with fire. [00:50:59] We're in the modern days of Noah and Lot. [00:51:01] Think of this. [00:51:03] There's a global homosexual movement marching through the major cities of the world. [00:51:08] That's right. [00:51:08] And they have a symbol, the sign of the covenant God made with Noah, the rainbow. [00:51:14] As it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so will be with the coming of the Son of Man. [00:51:17] Well, they're shaking their fists in God's face because the Lord promised he wouldn't flood the earth. [00:51:23] What's he about to do in the tribulation? [00:51:25] Fire. [00:51:25] Judge the earth with fire. [00:51:27] That's right. [00:51:28] And it's the curse of the Abraham everlasting covenant. [00:51:32] As the Antichrist harnesses the world's armies to come against and try to destroy the Jews and the nation of Israel. [00:51:39] Isn't that something? [00:51:40] You know, he just brought up a tremendous point, friends. [00:51:42] This should encourage you more than ever to get out there and be evangelizing, bring people into the fullness of Christ, pointing them to the cross at every opportunity that you have possible. [00:51:54] How important is it right now to be out there? [00:51:57] in the streets, in your workplace, in your home, and pointing people back to the cross every day. [00:52:02] Well, you know, I'm a pastor of a congregation called Watch Therefore Community Fellowship. === Let's Stand on God's Word (06:18) === [00:52:07] And so we pray before we dismiss. [00:52:11] And I talk to him. [00:52:12] I say, listen, you're going out into the mission field. [00:52:14] You need to watch therefore and be ready. [00:52:17] And the way you get ready is taking the gospel to the lost and making disciples. [00:52:23] The faithful, wise, blessed servant is watching for the master to return and giving the others their food in due season. [00:52:30] What's their food? [00:52:31] Well, Messiah Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the house of bread. [00:52:34] He's the bread of life. [00:52:36] He's the, hallelujah, the manna that came down from heaven. [00:52:40] So we're to be out while we're watching for King Jesus to come. [00:52:43] We're to be out giving the bread of life, Jesus, to everyone. [00:52:48] So we have gospel tracts of many different kinds. [00:52:51] Yes. [00:52:52] And I'm doing this myself. [00:52:54] We're to take the gospel to the Jew first and then the nations, Romans 1, 16, right? [00:52:58] So I'm doing this myself and making disciples, Lord willing by grace, who are also out with gospel tracts, sharing the gospel. [00:53:06] I get people calling me on my phone. [00:53:08] I met this guy in the name of someone from our church. [00:53:10] He told me I should call you. [00:53:12] And he's been talking to me about God and he said I should call you. [00:53:15] So there you go. [00:53:16] Amen. [00:53:16] You know, the word of God says that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. [00:53:21] Friends, the amount of people who call themselves Christians in the world right now is over the billion mark. [00:53:28] Friends, there should be no few laborers anywhere. [00:53:32] If we all took responsibility for our own families, and then after our families, we took responsibility for our communities. [00:53:38] Friends, we would be a Christian world, not just a Christian state or a Christian nation. [00:53:44] We would truly be a Christian world. [00:53:46] Why? [00:53:46] Because when somebody encounters Jesus Christ, as we saw in the book of Acts, when it was Saul before he became Paul, he encountered Jesus Christ on the Damascus road and his life was forever changed, friends. [00:53:58] When somebody has that Damascus road experience, they cannot stay the same. [00:54:02] Friends, when I say they can't stay the same, this is what I mean. [00:54:05] Either A, they will harden their heart towards Jesus or they will soften their heart and let him rule and reign on the throne of their heart. [00:54:14] Friends, our job is simply to be giving the gospel to them, be sharing the gospel and living your life in such a way as a testimony of the gospel. [00:54:23] You know, Monda, it would be the most devastating thing if somebody was living their life in such a way and then the question came around. [00:54:29] I was like, well, what do you believe? [00:54:30] And say, well, I'm a Christian. [00:54:30] Somebody would have said, well, I would have never guessed. [00:54:33] Oh, boy. [00:54:33] You know, there would be nothing more devastating. [00:54:35] But friends, a lot of people live their life that way. [00:54:37] A lot of people live their life lukewarm as well, friends. [00:54:41] We have to draw a line in the sand. [00:54:42] You made a great point earlier in the broadcast. [00:54:45] This has truly showed people where they are at. [00:54:47] There has been a line drawn in the sand, and you, as a believer, must pick heaven or hell. [00:54:53] You must pick righteousness or unrighteousness. [00:54:56] You have to pick life or death. [00:54:58] Friends, these are the choices you have to make. [00:55:00] And I'll let you know right now, righteousness, life, abundance of life in Christ Jesus, redemption, that only lies on one side, friend. [00:55:07] That only lies with Jesus Christ. [00:55:09] That only lies with God, the one true living God. [00:55:12] I want you to know that it is important. [00:55:14] Your salvation is the thing that we care about most. [00:55:17] Pastor Dove, if somebody's watching right now, maybe they're on the fence. [00:55:20] Maybe they called themselves a believer because, you know, when they were young, they were baptized or when they're young, they said a prayer that they don't quite remember, but they know they said it, but they haven't been living a Christian lifestyle. [00:55:29] What would you say to somebody who says, I want to go back and live in the fullness of what God has for me? [00:55:35] Well, there's this word that is holy and beautiful that isn't so much used today. [00:55:39] It's called repent. [00:55:41] Repentance. [00:55:42] Amen. [00:55:42] And Jesus, our Lord, said that it's not just saying a prayer. [00:55:46] It's recognizing that I've sinned against a holy God. [00:55:49] Praise God. [00:55:49] And there's a real place called hell, and he doesn't want me to go there. [00:55:53] And I don't want to go there. [00:55:54] So we should work it out. [00:55:55] We should work this out. [00:55:56] So he told us, here's the way. [00:55:58] There's one way. [00:55:59] Our Savior Jesus told us in Mark chapter 1, he said, repent and believe in the gospel. [00:56:03] Change your mind about your sins with a sincere heart to turn from them and believe that Jesus lived a sinless life as our Lord and Savior. [00:56:10] He died on the cross for our sins. [00:56:11] He was buried and excuse me. [00:56:13] Hallelujah. [00:56:14] He rose from the grave on the third day and he's listening. [00:56:18] He sent his Holy Spirit who's working in people's hearts right now. [00:56:22] And he wants to do a work in your heart. [00:56:24] What do you have to do? [00:56:24] Repent and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. [00:56:27] And then call upon his name. [00:56:28] Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord might be saved. [00:56:31] Oh, no, shall be saved. [00:56:34] That's you. [00:56:34] Praise God. [00:56:35] Call upon his name right now and say things like this. [00:56:37] Jesus, Lord, show me. [00:56:39] Jesus, Lord, help me. [00:56:41] Jesus, Lord, I believe in you. [00:56:43] Save me. [00:56:44] And he's doing that right now. [00:56:46] Amen. [00:56:46] He's doing that right now. [00:56:47] Friends, if you want to call our number, it's 1-888-988-1588. [00:56:52] We want to walk you through the salvation steps and we want to help you find a good Bible-believing church in your area. [00:56:58] Go and tell the world, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, I believe in Jesus Christ, the only way to heaven. [00:57:04] Make a bold proclamation of faith where there is no question where you stand, friend. [00:57:09] And I'm reminded here of Galatians chapter 5, verse 1. [00:57:11] It says, for freedom, Christ set us free. [00:57:14] Stand firm then and don't submit again to a yoke of slavery, friends. [00:57:19] It is our choice to submit to a yoke of slavery again after we've been set free by Jesus Christ. [00:57:25] Friend, don't make that choice. [00:57:26] Don't fall back into the old temptations you had to be in. [00:57:30] Get accountability. [00:57:31] It's a church word that we haven't been using enough like repentance. [00:57:35] Friends, accountability will be your best friend. [00:57:37] Accountability is my best friend. [00:57:39] Having men and women around me that can say, hey, you need to get back on the straight and narrow. [00:57:43] That is what we need, especially in these end times we're living in Mondo. [00:57:46] We need brothers and sisters that can help us. [00:57:48] That when a brother and sister falls, we help them back up. [00:57:51] We dust them off and we say, let's get back to righteousness. [00:57:54] Let's get back to holiness. [00:57:56] Let's get back to the things of God and let's stand on the word of God together. [00:58:00] Pastor Dove, I want to thank you for being on the broadcast with us here today. [00:58:04] Thank you for continuing to stand with us.
