[00:00:00]  You know, I don't talk a whole lot about prison years anymore, but when God gave me this scripture, I was in prison.
[00:00:08]  When I wrote and found out that he says, I'll never leave you by no means, no case, not ever, not at all in any way.
[00:00:14]  But you felt like I was in prison.
[00:00:15]  But you felt like I did.
[00:00:17]  Because I was saying, where are you, God?
[00:00:19]  Right.
[00:00:19]  Well, that's my question is, what does it feel like to read a scripture like that while you're sitting in a prison cell?
[00:00:25]  It comes alive.
[00:00:27]  But I was asking God things like, do you not love me, God?
[00:00:34]  Why have you put me in prison?
[00:00:35]  You know, we always blame God for everything.
[00:00:38]  And God, I said, God, are you trying to get even with me?
[00:00:42]  I mean, I thought he was trying to punish me for my sins.
[00:00:47]  And he said, I'm not punishing you for your sins.
[00:00:51]  He said, I got even on the cross.
[00:00:53]  This is what I heard in prison.
[00:00:55]  He said, I got even on the cross.
[00:00:57]  I brought you here.
[00:00:59]  And he's the one who brought me there.
[00:01:02]  And people don't like that because they say, well, God wouldn't put you in prison.
[00:01:05]  Well, then half the Bible is out of God's will.
[00:01:09]  Because half the Bible, I think, was written in prisons.
[00:01:14]  Even the book of Revelation was written in prison.
[00:01:18]  And God spoke to me that he brought me there to get to know him.
[00:01:23]  He says, I want you to have intimacy with me.
[00:01:25]  I want you to know me.
[00:01:27]  And so I studied the word.
[00:01:28]  I devoured the word.
[00:01:30]  I mean, honestly, I wished and pray to God that I could print this Bible and share it with you, my marked up Bible, because it is really my friend.
[00:01:41]  And it just comes alive to me.
[00:01:44]  But God says, I will never, never leave you.
[00:01:47]  And he spoke this in prison.
[00:01:49]  So he said, I brought you here because I want to teach you.
[00:01:54]  He said, I want you to know me.
[00:01:58]  And I couldn't figure out what I'd read.
[00:02:00]  He says, I want you to know me in the fellowship of my suffering.

[00:02:04]  Wow.
[00:02:05]  Wow.
[00:02:07]  That's not a popular scripture, probably.
[00:02:09]  No.
[00:02:10]  But he's transforming.
[00:02:11]  But I want to tell you, if you're going through something right now, God wants you to know him.
[00:02:18]  Do you ever go through anything?
[00:02:19]  Yes.
[00:02:20]  Well, when you crowd to God and he comes, you know him in the fellowship of your suffering.
