[00:00:07]  What did we learn today that applies to us?
[00:00:10]  You want me to tell you?
[00:00:13]  We can be wrong.
[00:00:17]  Yes.
[00:00:18]  Boy, that's a revelation.
[00:00:19]  Wow.
[00:00:21]  We can be wrong.
[00:00:21]  I've been wrong.
[00:00:22]  I think there's a book called I Was Wrong.
[00:00:27]  But it's a good title because it's not I am wrong.
[00:00:31]  It's I was wrong.
[00:00:36]  Before I started this sermon, I was already wrong.
[00:00:41]  We can be wrong.
[00:00:43]  You need to admit that.
[00:00:44]  If you want to go forward in life, I don't care how old you are.
[00:00:48]  I don't care how much status you have, social status, financial status, you can be wrong.
[00:00:55]  Elon Musk can be wrong.
[00:00:57]  Oh, he can pinpoint a rocket landing, you know, back.
[00:01:02]  Yeah, but you can be wrong about eternity.
[00:01:05]  You can be wrong.
[00:01:07]  Don't hold on to cherished mistakes.
[00:01:11]  Don't hold on to cherished assumptions.
[00:01:15]  The first step to salvation for any man, woman, and child is to admit, I'm wrong.
[00:01:22]  I'm wrong.
[00:01:25]  The first step to the restoration of any ministry is to say, I'm wrong.
[00:01:32]  Are you willing to admit to God that I'm wrong?
[00:01:38]  I've sinned and I need salvation.
[00:01:43]  If you can do that, if you know you're wrong about something and it's messing your life up, then what I want you to do is not to go to an ugly God.
[00:01:52]  Don't go to a stone or a piece of wood, but go to a beautiful God, beautiful in his thoughts, beautiful in his thoughts towards you.
[00:02:03]  And this God knows all your secrets and yet keeps them all sealed.
[00:02:11]  He says he will throw all your sins into the sea of forgetfulness, into oblivion.
[00:02:16]  Everything the judge knows, everything the police knows, everything the family members know, he'll wash it all under the blood of his son, Jesus Christ.
[00:02:25]  But you've got to admit, that's hard.
[00:02:29]  You got to sometimes say, at least to God, I'm sorry.
[00:02:35]  I'm sorry.
[00:02:36]  Before the year turns, before the clock turns, I'm really sorry, God.
[00:02:44]  So I want to invite you that you're listening right now.
[00:02:48]  God brought you here because I know you could have been on any other channel.
[00:02:51]  And I want you to say sorry to God, but not just keep it there.
[00:02:55]  Receive his Son as your Savior so that the new year will truly be new in the sense that a new you goes into a new year.
[00:03:06]  If an old you goes into a new year, it still just stinks.
[00:03:10]  It's going to be as hard and stressful as before.
[00:03:13]  You know, the turning of the calendar, the turning of that page doesn't change you, but Jesus will change you.
[00:03:20]  So if you're ready, pray this with me.
[00:03:23]  It's a prayer that I prayed a couple of decades ago, three decades ago, and it saved me, changed me.
[00:03:30]  So I want you to pray that sincerely to God.
[00:03:33]  Don't think about anybody else around you.
[00:03:35]  Close your eyes.
[00:03:36]  That will help.
[00:03:37]  And say, dear Heavenly Father, yeah, say it loud enough that you can hear your voice in your own ears.
[00:03:43]  Dear Heavenly Father, I'm sorry.
[00:03:47]  I was wrong.
[00:03:49]  I was wrong about God.
[00:03:51]  I was wrong about Jesus.
[00:03:54]  I was wrong about my own life.
[00:03:57]  I repent from all my sins and I turn to Jesus, the only Savior.
[00:04:05]  Please save me.
[00:04:07]  I believe you died on the cross to pay for my sins.
[00:04:12]  And I believe after three days, you rose again.
[00:04:18]  You're alive.
[00:04:19]  I open my heart.
[00:04:22]  Come dwell in me.
[00:04:24]  Lead me.
[00:04:26]  Be my Lord.
[00:04:27]  Be my king.
[00:04:29]  And before you come back again, use my life.
[00:04:34]  Give me a purpose.
[00:04:36]  I need meaning in my life.
[00:04:40]  Help me, Lord.
[00:04:41]  I'm yours from this day forward.
[00:04:44]  In Jesus' name, I pray.

[00:04:49]  If you just did that, you became born again.
[00:04:52]  You're part of the family of God.
