Jim Bakker Show - Unmasking the Chaldean Spirit | Rabbi Zev Porat & Carl Gallups Aired: 2022-11-17 Duration: 04:05 === Armor of God Reimagined (03:04) === [00:00:00] Most people, when you tell them put on the armor of God, Ephesians chapter 6, the first thing that pops in their mind is a Roman soldier. [00:00:06] Yes. [00:00:07] In fact, even if you go on the internet and they think of a Roman soldier, number one, the Jewish people, the Israelites, didn't even like the Roman soldiers. [00:00:16] No. [00:00:17] So why is Paul going to use that as an example? [00:00:20] Number two, the Bible says that the priests, when they went into service, it's like military service into the sanctuary, the temple, they went out without shoes. [00:00:32] Roman soldiers have shoes. [00:00:34] Number two, three, the Bible says that when Yeshua returns, his feet are going to land on the Mount of Olives. [00:00:40] It doesn't say his boots are going to land on the Mount of Olives. [00:00:42] Remember, he is our high priest. [00:00:44] He is. [00:00:45] And so we're the priests. [00:00:46] And so when it says put on the full armor of God, it's speaking about the priestly garments. [00:00:50] This is all in the Old Testament. [00:00:52] And there's so many scriptures, even in the book of Revelation, where it says you have a few in Sardis who have not defiled my name, for they will walk with me in white. [00:00:59] That white is the priestly garments. [00:01:01] You look at the book of Revelation, and he's coming back on a white horse, and behind him is an army. [00:01:06] What's that army? [00:01:07] That army are wearing white. [00:01:09] They're not wearing Roman soldier outfits. [00:01:11] Those are the priestly garments. [00:01:13] And so when he speaks about putting on the full armor of God, he's talking about putting on the priestly garments. [00:01:18] We're all priests and not Roman soldiers. [00:01:21] Once again, deception by the Chaldean spirit. [00:01:23] I want you to think that it's a Roman soldier. [00:01:25] There are scriptures in the Old Testament. [00:01:27] And I go through a whole teaching in the book that shows you the scriptures and everything very clear. [00:01:31] Yes. [00:01:32] There are a spiritual garment then. [00:01:34] It's a spiritual garment. [00:01:36] Right now, because there's no more sanctuary, there's no more real word. [00:01:39] Because if he's an atomic bomb, the armor of the Roman soldier is not going to protect us. [00:01:46] Absolutely. [00:01:47] That's right. [00:01:47] What's going to protect you is the word of God. [00:01:49] It's the armor of God. [00:01:50] What's the armor of God? [00:01:51] It's his word of God. [00:01:52] And the book of Revelation said, the word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, right? [00:01:58] Also, the book of Hebrews and other places in Isaiah as well. [00:02:00] And so that's what it's speaking about. [00:02:02] It's the breastplate. [00:02:04] It's the word of God, the girdle, the priest hat. [00:02:07] That's what it's speaking about. [00:02:08] If you look at, for example, when Moses met God, he took off his sandals. [00:02:15] Joshua took off his sandals. [00:02:16] Why? [00:02:17] Take off your shoes for you're standing on holy ground. [00:02:20] And so as priests, we're on holy ground, even though we're in the world, we're not of the world. [00:02:26] And so this deception of a Roman soldier, if you're reading the scriptures, the book of Isaiah, and you're looking for a Roman soldier, you're not going to find it. [00:02:34] In fact, the Bible even warns that God will punish all those that wear strange apparel. [00:02:39] All the kings of the earth, everybody. [00:02:41] What's a strange apparel? [00:02:43] I would say that a Roman soldier is a strange apparel. [00:02:45] Wow. [00:02:46] But there are scriptures in the Old Testament, just plugging into what he said, everything he said is in here and much more about that. === Paul's Quotations (01:16) === [00:02:52] That literally Paul is quoting from the Old Testament when he says, put on the breastplate of righteousness, put on the book of Isaiah, the belt of truth. [00:03:01] Put on, you know, get up your sword. [00:03:03] The priests had swords. [00:03:05] God sent them out throughout the camp when they were in the wilderness, and the priest got the swords and killed those that were worshiping the golden calf. [00:03:14] The priest had swords at times. [00:03:17] They had the breastplates of righteousness. [00:03:19] They had the belt. [00:03:20] But not only does it say that about the priest, but it literally says, God, before he leads into battle, he puts on, he has the breastplate of righteousness. [00:03:31] He has the belt of truth. [00:03:33] He marches forward in that truth. [00:03:35] And so Paul is quoting from that. [00:03:37] He's not quoting about Romans. [00:03:38] He's quoting from the Old Testament. [00:03:39] He was a rabbi. [00:03:42] There was no New Testament. [00:03:43] Everything that you read in the New Testament, they're quoting from the Old Testament. [00:03:46] Even Yeshua, when he was walking at his ministry, what was he quoting from? [00:03:49] He's quoting everything from the Old Testament. [00:03:52] And so it can't be a Roman soldier. [00:03:54] So that's another big, huge deception. [00:03:56] And a lot of people like to ask me, okay, what does it matter if I know if it's a Roman soldier or if it's a priest? [00:04:02] Well, then you'll read your Bible and you'll miss all these Bible verses and won't be able to connect them.
