Jim Bakker Show - We Are In The Period Of Time Called Until | Bobby Connor Aired: 2022-10-10 Duration: 04:59 === Stand Firm for Righteousness (02:26) === [00:00:00] You've watched these that they kind of compromise. [00:00:03] If you'll compromise a little, you'll compromise a lot. [00:00:06] And we're not going to let them move us. [00:00:08] Remember, they beat up the disciples and told them, don't you ever preach or teach again in the name of Jesus. [00:00:12] And they went out, started preaching, teaching. [00:00:15] Don't give in, don't give up. [00:00:16] Here's what the Bible says. [00:00:18] It says the evil forces ruled and rage until, until the ancient of days stood and rendered a verdict in behalf of the saints of God. [00:00:26] Hang on now. [00:00:27] I'm telling you, we're in a little period of time called the until. [00:00:32] And God is about to intervene. [00:00:34] And when God intervenes, things swiftly change. [00:00:37] And that's what's going to happen. [00:00:38] And so stay faithful to God. [00:00:40] Stay faithful to the word of God. [00:00:41] Stay faithful in prayer. [00:00:43] Here it says, let us not grow weary in well-doing. [00:00:47] We will reap if we faint not. [00:00:49] And the Bible said in the book of Daniel, Daniel says, seven said that the evil forces wanted to rule and rage in such a way and wear out the saints of God. [00:00:58] Say, wear out. [00:00:59] Wear out. [00:01:00] Most of the saints of God you know of are going through that kind of a process. [00:01:03] There's been such a struggle till the devil's trying to wear them out. [00:01:07] But let us not grow weary and well-doing. [00:01:08] We're going to reap if we faint not. [00:01:10] We're not going to faint. [00:01:11] Here's what we're going to do. [00:01:12] It's Isaiah, what, 30? [00:01:14] Have you not heard? [00:01:15] Didn't you get the memo? [00:01:16] The everlasting God's not weary. [00:01:18] They that wait upon the Lord will what? [00:01:20] Renew. [00:01:20] They will renew their strength. [00:01:22] They'll manifest wings as eagles. [00:01:23] They'll run and not be weary. [00:01:24] They'll walk and not faint. [00:01:26] We're about to get a spiritual charge here. [00:01:28] You understand? [00:01:29] We're about to get our second win, so to speak. [00:01:32] Because listen, this is it. [00:01:35] This is it. [00:01:35] This is not warm-up. [00:01:36] We have got to take a stand, a real stand for righteousness. [00:01:40] And God's going to do it for us. [00:01:42] Remember in Nehemiah's day, they had to build in battle at the same time. [00:01:45] That's right. [00:01:45] And that's what we got to do. [00:01:46] We've got to build in battle. [00:01:47] But I think sometimes we're like Gideon was in the book of Judges. [00:01:52] There's a war going on, and Gideon's down in a wine vat. [00:01:56] He's sifting some wheat down there. [00:01:57] That ain't where you do that stuff. [00:01:58] You get out on a mountainside to blow the chaff away. [00:02:01] But here's what happened. [00:02:02] It said that the Almighty God said, hello there, you victorious warrior. [00:02:06] And what does Gideon say? [00:02:07] Yeah, you must be mistaken. [00:02:09] I'm from the tribe of Manasseh. [00:02:10] Manasseh is the smallest tribe in all Israel, and I'm the wussiest one in my family. === Seeking Christ's Sufficiency (02:47) === [00:02:14] That's basically what he said, if you read it. [00:02:16] We got to quit underestimating who God is in us. [00:02:19] You understand that? [00:02:21] Yes, we do have to understand. [00:02:23] You're right. [00:02:23] Stop underestimating. [00:02:24] We cannot be stopped. [00:02:26] Right. [00:02:27] Unless we just give up and give in. [00:02:29] We're not going to do it. [00:02:31] Oh, I like that. [00:02:33] I do too. [00:02:34] I was just reading about Gideon yesterday morning as you bring him. [00:02:38] And you're so right what he was saying. [00:02:40] So fascinating. [00:02:41] I'm fascinated how it ended. [00:02:42] It said, and God clothed Gideon with God. [00:02:45] Yes. [00:02:47] And that's what you and I need to do, that knowing what a critical hour it is. [00:02:50] We're to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the lusts of the flesh. [00:02:55] You know, you also, I just got it. [00:02:56] It's gotten a question, but I know you also talk about how we're to put on the armor of God each day. [00:03:02] I want to hear your teaching. [00:03:04] People asked me, they said, how do you seek the Lord? [00:03:06] Number one, Matthew 6, 6 says, get in the quietest room of your house, shut the door. [00:03:13] The Lord pointed his finger at me once about seeking the Lord. [00:03:16] He said, hey, you tell my people, when it comes to seeking me, I detest multitasking. [00:03:21] Whoa, you'll find me when you search for me and seek for me with all your heart. [00:03:25] But I think one of the number one weapons we need to put on is a helmet. [00:03:30] See, we got to keep our thinking straight. [00:03:32] And then we got to put on the helmet of salvation and taking the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. [00:03:37] And I'm telling you, it's very capable of cutting asunder. [00:03:41] I'm telling you, so we got to seek the Lord. [00:03:44] Here's one of the ways I seek him. [00:03:45] Now, you'll find out a little bit about that. [00:03:48] Get in that secret room, that Matthew 6, 6, quietest room we have, shut the door. [00:03:52] And here's what I say. [00:03:53] And I mean it. [00:03:54] I say, Lord, these are not my hands. [00:03:56] They're your hands. [00:03:58] See, the Holy Spirit doesn't have hands till you give him yours. [00:04:00] I said, These are not my lips, they're yours. [00:04:02] And it's yielding yourself to Christ. [00:04:04] Yeah, and just yield yourself to him. [00:04:06] He'll take everything you offer him. [00:04:08] You understand that? [00:04:09] And then Paul said it this way: for me to live is Christ. [00:04:12] And we need to be so Christ-like. [00:04:14] Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, make no provision. [00:04:17] He's sufficient for any task, isn't he? [00:04:19] He really is. [00:04:20] What a time to be alive. [00:04:22] Honestly, I wouldn't trade this time for any other time in history. [00:04:25] I can prove to you from statistics, it's the most crucial time in human history. [00:04:29] I'm talking about for a whole world. [00:04:31] And look who God's let live. [00:04:32] I said to him, What are you thinking? [00:04:34] And he said, Yes, I finally found me a people weak enough to work in, not weak in character, not weak in morals, not weak in ethics, weak in their own ability. [00:04:43] He said, I have found me a generation that's embraced John 15:5. [00:04:48] Without me, you can do nothing. [00:04:51] But with him, in him, Philippians says, I can do all things through Christ who infuses me with inner strength. [00:04:57] I am sufficient in Christ's sufficiencies.
