[00:00:18]  And how do we keep from panicking?
[00:00:20]  You listen to the news, you'll panic.
[00:00:21]  The Bible says, Man's heart's failing them for the things they see coming up on the earth.
[00:00:25]  Do Isaiah 26:3, thou wilt keep him in perfect peace when on the person whose mind is stayed upon the Lord.
[00:00:32]  Trust in the Lord Jehovah, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting, never-failing peace.
[00:00:36]  We got to focus on him.
[00:00:38]  Yes, we look at the problems.
[00:00:40]  We're not just ignoring them, but let that be your gait, let that be your glance.
[00:00:45]  Let him be your focus, your gaze.
[00:00:47]  They looked into the Lord and their faces were enlightened.
[00:00:50]  We got to realize God meant what he said.
[00:00:53]  And about this prospering, he said, I wish above all things, beloved, that you would be in health and prosper, even as your soul prospers.
[00:00:59]  Listen, oh, we got the greatest gift of all.

[00:01:06]  I'm telling you, it says in Colossians 1, 13, he took us out of the family of death and darkness and put us into the family of light, love, and liberation.

[00:01:20]  I want us to enjoy Jesus.
[00:01:23]  Jim, I tell them, some people have just enough Jesus to be miserable.
[00:01:26]  They got him in the head, but not the heart.
[00:01:29]  They're always mixed up with rules, regulations, stipulations.
[00:01:32]  Stop it.
[00:01:33]  He's a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
[00:01:36]  We need to get to know really Jesus and walk with him and commit ourselves to him.

[00:01:43]  You said recently that this is not a time to be dull and dumb.

[00:01:54]  The Bible says, study to show yourself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

[00:02:03]  John 17:17 says, Sanctify them, the saints of God.
[00:02:07]  The word sanctify means clean up, set apart for the service of God.
[00:02:10]  And how do you do it?

[00:02:13]  And we have got to get back to the word of God.
[00:02:16]  And listen, this is not just print on paper.
[00:02:19]  This is a person.
[00:02:20]  And the word became flesh and dwelt among us.
[00:02:23]  I'll just be quite honest with you.
[00:02:24]  You'll never be in the committed to God like you need to be if you're shallow in this word.
[00:02:30]  My people, that's us, are perishing for a lack of knowledge.
[00:02:33]  Study the word of God.
[00:02:35]  The number one question I get asked around the whole world is, how did you memorize the Bible?
[00:02:40]  I studied it till the oil on my fingers would wear a hole in the and wear the print off the page.
[00:02:45]  My wife will testify.
[00:02:47]  I've got a stack of Bibles.
[00:02:48]  I've done that too.
[00:02:49]  Now, here's what I'm doing now.
[00:02:51]  I'm trying to memorize every translation that really speaks to me.
[00:02:55]  And listen, one great verse, and I'll kind of shut it down.
[00:02:59]  Ephesians 2:10.

[00:03:02]  I studied that out of every English translation I could find on earth.
[00:03:05]  Ephesians 2:10, we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before ordained that we'd conduct ourselves in them.
[00:03:13]  We're his workmanship.
[00:03:14]  I looked up the Greek word workmanship.
[00:03:16]  It means you're the final stroke of a master artist.
[00:03:19]  So when the devil says to you, who do you think you are?
[00:03:22]  You go, I'm the best God could do.
[00:03:23]  You're the final stroke of a master artist.
[00:03:27]  Get a new appreciation of who you are.
[00:03:29]  Yes.
[00:03:29]  You know, identity theft you hear a lot about.
[00:03:32]  I'll tell you it's rampant in the church.
[00:03:34]  The devil's stolen our identity.
[00:03:35]  Well, who are we?
[00:03:36]  We're sons and daughters of the most high God.
[00:03:38]  Revelations 1, 5, and 6, unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood and has made us to be what?
[00:03:45]  Priests and kings.
[00:03:47]  That's an upgrade, don't you think?
[00:03:50]  It says a priest can solve sticky situations and the word of a king has authority.
[00:03:56]  You and I need to be so appreciative to the fact that God has put his word within our mouth and we can decree a thing and it will be established.
[00:04:02]  That's right.
[00:04:03]  I said in Texas terms, just to stir people up.
[00:04:06]  Here's what it says: Make up your mind what you want.
[00:04:08]  Tell God what that is, and he'll get it for you.
[00:04:11]  That's good.
[00:04:12]  What?
[00:04:12]  That can't be in the Bible.
[00:04:13]  Yes, it is, Job 22:28.
[00:04:16]  And you shall decide a thing.
[00:04:18]  Make up your mind.
[00:04:19]  Then you decree what you've decided, and the Lord will establish it, and the light of his favor will shine upon your pathway.
