=== Three Levels of Command (02:14) ===

[00:00:00]  What are the military's three basic levels of command and why is unity of command an important principle?
[00:00:09]  So I'm just going to jump quickly into the book because I'm almost running out of time.
[00:00:15]  Yeah, the three levels of command are strategic, operational, and tactical.
[00:00:20]  And the strategic operation, the strategic level of command would be like the theater commander.
[00:00:27]  And then the operational level of command would be like the division or even a corps commander.
[00:00:35]  And then you get down to the tactical level, which you're talking about, a battalion and below.
[00:00:41]  And the thing is, everywhere you go, you have that same level of command, if you will.
[00:00:50]  And you need to know which level you're operating at.
[00:00:54]  And what happens so frequently is you have people that are officially at the strategic level, but they want to be down at the tactical level.
[00:01:05]  And all they're doing is interfering.
[00:01:07]  All they're doing is stymying the initiative of their subordinates.
[00:01:12]  What they need to do is focus on the big picture.
[00:01:14]  You're up here.
[00:01:16]  Focus up here, not down here at the tactical level or the operational level.
[00:01:21]  And then sometimes you got that reversed.
[00:01:24]  The guys down at the tactical level think they know far more than the generals at the top level and at the strategic level.
[00:01:32]  And instead of focusing on being good at what they do down here at the very cutting edge of warfare, and you can apply the same thing in the church.
[00:01:44]  You've got those same levels in the church, in almost every church.
[00:01:47]  You've got the same levels.
[00:01:49]  And everybody needs to understand which level they are appointed to and which level they're operating at.
[00:01:54]  And they need to focus their efforts on doing their job at that level until they are elevated to the next level.

=== The Biggest Lie Out There (01:43) ===

[00:02:02]  Absolutely.
[00:02:03]  That's excellent.
[00:02:04]  I want you to order the book and then just read it for yourself.
[00:02:08]  You point out that the first Gentile to receive the gospel was a centurion.
[00:02:15]  And that's important, don't you think?
[00:02:19]  Absolutely.
[00:02:21]  Absolutely.
[00:02:22]  First of all, he was a warrior.
[00:02:24]  He wasn't just a soldier.
[00:02:25]  He was a warrior.
[00:02:27]  And I think that we need to recognize that we are all in a spiritual battle.
[00:02:32]  If we know Jesus Christ is our Savior, we're in a spiritual battle.
[00:02:37]  And that's not talked about enough.
[00:02:39]  It's not emphasized.
[00:02:40]  It's not stressed enough.
[00:02:42]  And what we need to understand is that we are in a battle every single day, and we cannot let our guard down because you're talking about this whole transgender thing.
[00:02:56]  If I was Satan and I wanted to get my hooks into this whole nation, I'd say I'll get them to believe a lie and I'll get them to perpetuate that lie.
[00:03:07]  And what's the biggest lie I could come up with?
[00:03:09]  Well, I will tell them that if they are born with male genitalia, they don't have to be a man.
[00:03:17]  They can be whatever they want.
[00:03:20]  Genitalia doesn't tell you what gender you are.
[00:03:24]  Well, that's a lie.
[00:03:25]  That's a lie out of the pits of hell.
[00:03:27]  That is the biggest lie.
[00:03:29]  But now, not only are we believing it, but we've got major corporations that are perpetuating that lie.
[00:03:37]  And you just stop and think about it.
[00:03:40]  We are fooling ourselves.
