Jim Bakker Show - The New Voice of Tolerance in America | Dr. Michael Brown on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2022-04-12 Duration: 03:38 === New Voice of Intolerance (03:38) === [00:00:00] What is the new voice of tolerance in America? [00:00:06] The new voice of tolerance is actually intolerance. [00:00:09] It claims that it's being tolerant and open, but in point of fact, it is intolerant of all views except the latest PC views. [00:00:19] The voices that claim that we sponsor diversity, what they mean is complete exclusivity of all views except for their own. [00:00:29] When they say we practice inclusion, what they mean is we exclude all voices but our own. [00:00:36] Years ago, I was dealing with a coffee company and they were beginning to sponsor gay pride events in the city of Charlotte. [00:00:43] And I said, look, you're a national chain. [00:00:45] Why don't you remain neutral in the culture wars because this is a very divisive issue in the city? [00:00:51] And they said, no, we want to work with everyone. [00:00:54] We are inclusive. [00:00:55] I said, okay, we're having a Christian rally, a pro-family rally standing for the life of the unborn, standing for teen purity. [00:01:03] Would you work with us? [00:01:04] And they wrote back and said, we will not work with you because we are inclusive. [00:01:09] You talk about absolute double talk, but the new tolerance is absolute intolerance of all dissenting viewpoints. [00:01:17] Wow. [00:01:18] Wow. [00:01:19] That is powerful. [00:01:23] I just wish America could wake up. [00:01:25] Mondo, you have a chapter in the book that's one of your favorites. [00:01:29] Absolutely. [00:01:30] Big tech takes control, chapter three. [00:01:33] Dr. Brown, how did big tech take control over what we can say and who we are in the public square? [00:01:43] Part of it was with our help without us knowing it. [00:01:46] In other words, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube. [00:01:50] Hey, we're neutral platforms and you can just get your viewpoints out. [00:01:55] Just don't cross certain lines, you know, and don't do certain things, but get your viewpoints out freely. [00:02:00] So we all bought into that. [00:02:02] A way to communicate with friends, those of us with ministries, a great way to get our message out for free to masses of people. [00:02:10] And then once we all signed up and pushed things like Facebook into literally the billions, several billion people using Facebook, then the rules started to change. [00:02:21] Then they started to work with various activist organizations that said, oh, you're a hate group. [00:02:26] Oh, this is hate speech. [00:02:27] And if you misgender someone, if you call a biological male a male, you'll be de-platformed. [00:02:33] It's like, what happened? [00:02:35] So that's the first thing. [00:02:37] We all bought into this together, and then the rules changed along the way. [00:02:42] The second thing is, is we didn't realize the power of search engines. [00:02:47] Oh, just Google this. [00:02:49] Google becomes a verb. [00:02:50] We'll just Google this, search this, without realizing that over time, Google has such massive control. [00:02:56] What goes out that it's going to control what you see. [00:02:59] It decides, okay, we don't want you to see these viewpoints because these are contrary to our ideological viewpoints. [00:03:07] And with Google, with me, they forbid us from advertising a video that offended some of their employees. [00:03:13] Can you be gay and Christian? [00:03:14] They said, you are not allowed to advertise this. [00:03:17] So there's tremendous control that they've exerted. [00:03:21] And we all go through these same platforms. [00:03:24] And because of this, it's become a stranglehold. [00:03:26] And we must decide, am I going to just figure out how to stay on the platform by compromising my convictions? [00:03:34] Or will I get the message of truth out without compromise, come what may?
