[00:00:00]  Dr. Brown, you've written extensively on anti-Semitism.
[00:00:06]  When Israel expressed support for Ukraine, Russia condemned the occupation of the Golan Heights.
[00:00:14]  Why is Russia taking this anti-Semitic stance against Israel?
[00:00:21]  So Russia's become a major player in the Middle East, and Russia really controls the Syrian airwaves.
[00:00:27]  And Israel right now has to play a very fine game between Russia and Ukraine because there's so many Jews still in Russia and still in Ukraine.
[00:00:36]  That's why Israel's tried to be a peacemaker here.
[00:00:39]  But as Israel shows support for Ukraine or speaks up on behalf of Ukraine, then Russia is going to say, well, you're invaders.
[00:00:46]  You're invaders too.
[00:00:47]  You invaded the Golan Heights.
[00:00:50]  You're accusing us of invading Ukraine.
[00:00:51]  You invaded the Golan Heights and you're occupiers too.
[00:00:54]  So if you're going to speak against us, we're going to speak against you.
[00:00:58]  The bottom line is that ultimately, Vladimir Putin is not a friend of Israel.
[00:01:04]  Prime Minister Bennett met with him trying to work out a peaceful solution to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
[00:01:12]  But Russia is a major player now.
[00:01:14]  And to the extent that Russia and Iran are co-workers and have an allegiance, that is very, very bad news for the region and leads to a lot of the disruption of the region, a lot of the civil war in Syria.
[00:01:28]  Russia helped fuel some of this.
[00:01:29]  Iran helped fuel some of this.
[00:01:31]  So Israel is stuck between a rock and a hard place, as is constantly the case.
