Jim Bakker Show - Will it get worse in Ukraine? | LCOL Robert Maginnis (Ret.) on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2022-03-15 Duration: 02:50 === Putin's Predictable Path (02:06) === [00:00:00] If Ukrainians, and I quote: If Ukrainians don't accept surrender terms, the worst is yet to come. [00:00:08] What do you make of that statement, Colonel? [00:00:12] Well, it's consistent with his personality and the threats that he's had before. [00:00:17] Back in November of this past year, I wrote a Fox News article saying there was a 50-50 chance this would happen. [00:00:24] And in fact, I said it wouldn't happen because of an agreement with President Xi of China until immediately after the 2022 Beijing Olympics. [00:00:36] I was spot on. [00:00:38] Five years ago, Mondo, I wrote a book, Alliance of Evil: The New Cold War between the U.S. and China and Russia. [00:00:47] We're beginning to see all that evidence come to pass. [00:00:52] What Putin has done is essentially very predictable. [00:00:56] When I was in Europe many years ago, and on the other side of the Iron Curtain was Mr. Putin as a KGB agent, he's acting that way even today. [00:01:07] He is a thug, he's a killer, and he's someone that has no scruples about destroying entire cities. [00:01:16] He did precisely that in Chechnya. [00:01:19] He's done and contributed to similar activities in Syria. [00:01:24] And now we're seeing plenty of evidence of what he has in mind for the Ukrainians. [00:01:30] We've got just a terrible situation emerging there. [00:01:34] In the north, of course, he came out of Belarus with thousands attacking south toward Kiev. [00:01:41] Kharkiv, which is in the northeast, a very historic strategic city, is surrounded. [00:01:48] They've already brought their Marines from the south and have captured a couple of cities. === Nuclear Threats and Genocide (00:59) === [00:01:52] They're next to going after Odessa, which is, of course, the largest port in Ukraine. [00:01:57] And of course, here recently, we've heard about one of the nuclear sites, of which there are four or 15 total reactors. [00:02:07] And if that were to be attacked or struck and a radioactive release took place, much like Chernobyl in 1986, that could threaten the entire world. [00:02:20] And so we have a host of issues that are coming to fruition here, much less what I consider a genocide. [00:02:28] And I put a lot at the feet of NATO, the European Union, and our own president, Mr. Biden, who continues to refuse to cut off the Russian oil supply coming to this country. [00:02:43] We, by proxy, are supporting the war that is killing thousands of Ukrainian citizens.
