Jim Bakker Show - Your Thoughts Are Transformational Seed | Mikel French on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2022-02-28 Duration: 04:56 === Words That Transform (04:39) === [00:00:00] When your thoughts are right, the thoughts become the seed that are transformational. [00:00:06] People say, what's the first thing I should change? [00:00:08] And I always say, your thoughts. [00:00:10] As a person thinks in their heart, so are they. [00:00:15] And we're moving in a moment where we're getting beyond the fruits of sin to the roots of sin. [00:00:21] Wow. [00:00:22] When you move to the roots of sin, salvation begins to take place. [00:00:28] And with it, the number one thing ongoing, everyone talks about me being positive. [00:00:33] I'm glad nobody asked my wife that question. [00:00:36] She sees the moments that I'm negative. [00:00:38] She knows them. [00:00:39] They know they're real. [00:00:41] I used to be very gifted in sarcasm. [00:00:47] Sarcasm used to be my love language. [00:00:50] You know, if I was sarcastic with you, it meant I loved you. [00:00:54] I trusted you. [00:00:56] And then one day the Holy Spirit said, sarcasm is not my love language. [00:01:00] Wow. [00:01:01] Oh, no. [00:01:02] You know, to be able to look at someone who's lost and see Jesus in them, to see a world around me, to look, it changed the way I look at politics, at everything. [00:01:14] Can I see Jesus in someone that I totally disagree with and would like to see them voted out of office? [00:01:24] That changes the way I have to think. [00:01:26] I mean, it doesn't mean that we're not to be active and to do our best to get godly people in right places. [00:01:34] But my thoughts, my attitudes, and then they become my words. [00:01:38] And as I've said right here, sitting here before, words change the atmosphere. [00:01:44] And words not only change the atmosphere, please hear me, they release the prophetic in your future. [00:01:50] Yeah, yeah. [00:01:54] Words are that that are extraordinary. [00:01:57] I love words. [00:01:58] Yes. [00:01:59] Because words have the power. [00:02:02] They may sound strange to you. [00:02:03] Words are what make you like God. [00:02:08] Words created all this. [00:02:10] God spoke. [00:02:12] And the Holy Spirit took it and changed it. [00:02:15] Can you walk into a room that's so mixed up and messed up and with your words begin to change atmospheres? [00:02:23] I do it more at airports. [00:02:25] You know, I don't know how many miles I've flown. [00:02:28] Close to 5 million with American and a couple of million with others. [00:02:32] And with it at airports, there is so much tension and people standing up there and I used to be the worst. [00:02:39] I mean, you're going, come on, folks, I got somewhere to go. [00:02:41] You know, especially if you've got a thousand people waiting on you. [00:02:45] I've had to literally walk on platforms and start preaching from the airport. [00:02:50] I've been flying around cities while the church service was starting and talk about that whole thing and begin to use words to seeds that change. [00:03:03] That's the power of what you're talking about here. [00:03:05] The reason why nations are met. [00:03:08] We're in words. [00:03:11] Something about the Holy Spirit that you may find very interesting. [00:03:15] Do you know what the first empowerment of every child is? [00:03:20] Words. [00:03:23] Words are the initial evidence of power in English, Russian, Chinese, and in the kingdom of God. [00:03:30] You know what Chinese people teach their children? [00:03:34] Words. [00:03:36] And the moment that child starts speaking Chinese, we go, that's my baby. [00:03:41] That's my child. [00:03:43] You know why? [00:03:44] It's the first initial sign of empowerment. [00:03:47] Wow. [00:03:48] Wow. [00:03:50] And in the kingdom of God, wouldn't God give his children words? [00:03:54] Yes. [00:03:55] Not the words that your parents gave you, words that are of the Holy Spirit, words that change everything. [00:04:01] And that's the whole thing. [00:04:02] Hate speech has become the key phrase to throw at somebody you don't like what they're saying. [00:04:11] I grew up in the 60s. [00:04:13] I'm sorry. [00:04:14] Forgive me for those of you who are not going to like what I say. [00:04:17] If you think the words are bad now, you should have hung out with my generation. [00:04:22] I'm serious as I can be. [00:04:23] The protest, Vietnam, all the movement. === Words That Changed America (00:32) === [00:04:28] I know you're going to dislike me and somebody disqualify me. [00:04:30] I remember when I had hair here and here and thought I was cool. [00:04:37] Bell bottoms. [00:04:39] Oh. [00:04:39] But you know what? [00:04:40] Those words changed America. [00:04:43] We didn't get afraid of the words. [00:04:46] We learned how to use them supernaturally. [00:04:49] And right now we're in one of those moments that the power, what they're trying to do is the Bible has the power to change the atmosphere. [00:04:56] Amen.
