Jim Bakker Show - The 2024 Solar Eclipse The Big One - Mark Biltz Aired: 2021-06-01 Duration: 05:05 === Big Solar Eclipse 2024 (04:51) === [00:00:00] You have said that the next total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024 is the big one. [00:00:10] Now, you're talking about the possible tribulation signal is just a year from now, but you're saying this one on the 8th is the on April 8th, 2024 is the big one. [00:00:23] Why is that? [00:00:25] Most everyone remembers the great American eclipse that happened August 21st of 2017 that went from Oregon all the way down through Carolina. [00:00:37] Well, the one April 8th to 2024 goes from the south up through the northeast. [00:00:45] And amazingly, it intersects at this particular location in southern Illinois. [00:00:52] And they say scientifically, mathematically, that typically you won't see a total solar eclipse in one spot for over 300 years. [00:01:02] And here, it's in seven years. [00:01:04] And seven years is very significant in the fact that both of them occurred during the second year of a Shemitah cycle. [00:01:14] If you remember, it was in the second year of the Shemitah cycle that Jacob and his brethren came up and moved to Egypt. [00:01:25] The exact point of intersection between 2017 total solar eclipse and the one coming on April 8th, 2024. [00:01:36] Yes, what's amazing about this is where they intersect. [00:01:40] Southern Illinois in an area known as Little Egypt. [00:01:45] To me, this is incredible. [00:01:47] You'll notice a little city at the bottom called Cairo. [00:01:52] As a matter of fact, let's take another look here as I bring this in closer. [00:01:58] You see where Carbondale is at the top, but look at all the Egyptian city names. [00:02:04] You have Goshen up at the top. [00:02:06] You go down to the left, you see Thebes. [00:02:09] There's Cairo at the bottom. [00:02:11] You go up to the right, there's Karnak. [00:02:14] These are all Egyptian named cities. [00:02:17] This whole area is known as Little Egypt. [00:02:21] Right here shows you the intersection where this is taking place, which is amazing. [00:02:29] Now, watch this. [00:02:31] As I zero in, you can see on the bottom kind of right corner where Carbondale is, and there's a little city kind of called Harrisburg. [00:02:40] Well, I'm going to zero in there and take a look at this. [00:02:44] You see where Southeastern Illinois College is. [00:02:47] This college is right in the heart of where this eclipse is going to be occurring. [00:02:54] Now, what's amazing is this very spot is the place where the greatest totality occurs in both eclipses, seven years apart. [00:03:03] Now, you're going to notice a little black triangle over the highway where Southeastern Illinois College is. [00:03:09] Get a little bit of. [00:03:11] Although Illinois was a free state before the American Civil War, some residents in Little Egypt, they still own slaves, just like they had slaves in Egypt. [00:03:20] Illinois law generally forbade bringing slaves into Illinois, but a special exemption was given to the salt works near Equality. [00:03:26] And you will see the city of Quality in the bottom right corner of that triangle. [00:03:30] The reason it was known as Little Egypt is because there was a famine in the north, and they all came down also to get bread. [00:03:39] And so for several hundred years, that has been known as Little Egypt. [00:03:43] Wow, that is amazing. [00:03:45] I never knew that. [00:03:47] Oh, my goodness. [00:03:48] And I'm pretty, I'm into geography. [00:03:51] What's the biblical similarity between the Egypt of the Old Testament and Little Egypt in Illinois? [00:03:58] Yeah. [00:03:59] Well, you do definitely already have the names of the cities of Egypt adopted there. [00:04:04] But get a load of this next PowerPoint here. [00:04:07] This is Southeastern Illinois College, which is right in the heart of this. [00:04:12] And I'm going to bring up this next slide at the bottom so you can read it bigger. [00:04:17] Look at this. [00:04:18] This is from their own website. [00:04:20] It says in 1960, when Southeastern Illinois College was formed, a Sphinx was included in the official seal of the college to honor the little Egypt heritage shared by the people of the college district. [00:04:32] A few years later, when a logo was created for Southeastern, it also incorporated another Egyptian symbol, the pyramid. === God of the Underworld (00:28) === [00:04:39] And then it says, their competitive teams have always had the falcon as their mascot in Egypt. [00:04:45] The king was thought of as a living god. [00:04:47] While alive, he was Horus, the falcon-headed sky god sitting on the magic Isis throne. [00:04:52] When he died, he became Osiris, god of the underworld, and his heir became Horus. [00:04:58] Here is Horus. [00:04:59] And if you'll notice the solar disk over the falcon head, these are all Egyptian symbols.
