[00:00:00]  What happens to man when he tries to wear the crown that belongs to God?
[00:00:08]  Well, I tell you what, all too often we as Christians, we often say, hey, we're seated with God in heavenly places.
[00:00:15]  But I tell you what, he's not seated on our throne.
[00:00:18]  We're supposed to be seated on his throne.
[00:00:20]  And too often, we wear the crown of pride.
[00:00:24]  That is one of the greatest sins is pride.
[00:00:26]  And when we try to wear God's crown, the crown that belongs to him, God is going to take us down.
[00:00:33]  God will humble the proud very quickly.
[00:00:37]  And it's amazing to me.
[00:00:38]  Do you know in Jeremiah, it states how God is weeping in the secret places because of our pride.
[00:00:46]  Our pride is so horrible.
[00:00:48]  In Micah 6, it says, He has showed me, oh man, what is good and what the Lord requires of you to do justly, to love mercy.
[00:00:55]  And then it says to walk humbly with your God.
[00:00:58]  We have a humble God.
[00:01:00]  And how horrible for this humble creator of the universe to have a man who steals the crown and puts it on his head.
[00:01:09]  Wow.
[00:01:10]  Wow.
[00:01:12]  You write that the prophet Jeremiah lived in chaotic times.
[00:01:17]  Maybe like ours, I don't know.
[00:01:19]  But some of the culture factors that you have uncovered, just go through some of that because I know that you have found similarities to what Jeremiah faced, to what we're facing today.
[00:01:38]  Oh, exactly.
[00:01:40]  Exactly.
[00:01:41]  What happened then is what's happening now.
[00:01:44]  They are calling evil good and good evil.
[00:01:48]  Here they were offering their children to Molech.
[00:01:51]  And we have this big abortion issue that's going on right now.
[00:01:55]  Not only that, there was all kinds of fake news back then, prophesying lies.
[00:02:00]  The prophets were all false prophets prophesying fake news.
[00:02:04]  There was political chaos, political chaos going on as Josiah had two wives.
[00:02:12]  And so two different children from two different mothers are fighting over who would be king.
[00:02:18]  So there's political chaos.
[00:02:20]  There's also quarantines.
[00:02:22]  There was also religious chaos where the religious people were fighting and disputing, just like much that is going on today.
[00:02:31]  Not only that, what's fascinating, there's a mistranslation in the Gospels where it says a nation will come against nation.
[00:02:40]  It's actually ethnic group will come against ethnic group, just like we're seeing in the United States today.
[00:02:47]  Well, that was also going on there.
[00:02:50]  But there's also religious chaos where the religious leaders were fleecing the flock instead of feeding the flock.
[00:02:57]  But the bad thing was God's people were loving what the false prophet said.
[00:03:03]  They did not want to hear what God said.
[00:03:05]  They only wanted to hear what they wanted to hear.
