[00:00:00]  But let me share this very briefly.
[00:00:01]  Luke 8:22 says this.
[00:00:03]  One day he, Jesus got into a boat with his disciples.
[00:00:07]  You know what?
[00:00:07]  Jesus is in the boat with you.
[00:00:09]  I just want to prophesy that over you right now.
[00:00:11]  I'm not just teaching this.
[00:00:13]  Jesus is with you.
[00:00:14]  He is in you.
[00:00:15]  And he said, I'll never leave you or forsake you.
[00:00:18]  That is not just like some nice greeting card line.
[00:00:21]  That is truth.
[00:00:22]  He said he would never leave you or forsake you.
[00:00:25]  And he gave you evidence, the person of the Holy Spirit.
[00:00:28]  In this case, he was in a boat with them and he said, let's go across to the other side of the lake.
[00:00:34]  So they set out.
[00:00:35]  Listen, I'm going to declare over you right now.
[00:00:37]  I had this written down and I got to just prophesy it, okay?
[00:00:40]  And I'm grateful that these folks have turned me loose to do this.
[00:00:43]  I believe the Lord's saying right now, it's time for you to review and remember.
[00:00:48]  In fact, and this is in some of the DVD that I recorded, I recorded those DVDs specifically for you guys, for those who'd be watching this, that it would bless you.
[00:00:57]  But the Lord came in like a flood, interrupted it, and just one of those DVDs, I didn't even intend to do.
[00:01:02]  It was just a time of prophetic ministry.
[00:01:03]  But the Lord is saying right now, he's calling you to rewind and review.
[00:01:08]  What does that mean, Larry?
[00:01:11]  Rewind to the time before coronavirus.
[00:01:14]  Come on now.
[00:01:16]  Rewind to that time before all these protests, all the chaos and stuff was breaking loose in the earth.
[00:01:23]  Coronavirus, all the protesting, rewind to the promises and the prophetic words, the things that God said to you before all of that was released into the earth.
[00:01:33]  Why?
[00:01:33]  God tell, I believe the Holy Spirit's saying to you right now, I have not changed my mind on those things.
[00:01:38]  Listen, crisis and chaos are no excuse for us to let go of the promises and the prophetic words.
[00:01:46]  And yes, the assignments that the Lord has given us to do.
[00:01:49]  So I want to encourage you, guess what?
[00:01:50]  If God gave you a promise, if God gave you a prophetic word, if God gave you an assignment before all this crazy stuff broke out, I've got good news for you.
[00:01:59]  I know it's dark out there and it's going to get increasingly dark, but in the midst of that, God's promise, God's assignment, God's prophetic word given to you, that is confirmation of basically Jesus saying something like this.
[00:02:13]  He said to the disciples, we're going to go to the other side.
[00:02:16]  Let us go across to the other side of the lake.
[00:02:19]  I just want to encourage somebody right now.
[00:02:22]  You feel like you're being swept up, the storm's coming, all of that's beaten against your life, against your mind, against your family.
[00:02:30]  Hold on to those things that the Holy Spirit has spoken to you.
[00:02:33]  Hold on to those promises, prophetic words, just things that you feel passionate that God has called you and told you to do.
[00:02:40]  Because I believe Jesus is saying to you right now, you know what?
[00:02:44]  You're going to go through some stuff.
[00:02:46]  David said, I go through the valley of the shadow of death.
[00:02:49]  But you know what?
[00:02:50]  David was never intended to die in the valley.
[00:02:53]  And listen, I understand there's persecution.
[00:02:55]  I understand there's all that stuff.
[00:02:57]  Okay.
[00:02:58]  We don't have a gospel of chocolate cupcakes and yellow sprinkles.
[00:03:02]  I don't preach that.
[00:03:02]  That's nonsense.
[00:03:03]  But I want to encourage you.
[00:03:05]  And this is what the earth needs.
[00:03:06]  The earth needs a testimony of a people who are driven and compelled by promise, who are actually out doing the work that Jesus called and commissioned them to do.
[00:03:17]  They will not be detourred.
[00:03:19]  They will not be distracted by the chaos and the crisis going on around them.
[00:03:23]  And in fact, I believe the enemy is just upping things sometimes.
[00:03:28]  He's upping the level of darkness.
[00:03:29]  He's upping the level of crisis and chaos.
[00:03:31]  Why?
[00:03:32]  I believe sometimes what we feel even is the intimidation and the fear of the enemy because he knows.
[00:03:38]  He knows what happens when people cross from one side to the other.
[00:03:43]  He knows what happens when those people who got a prophetic word or a promise or an assignment from God, just like these folks in Luke chapter eight, he knows very well what happens when they go in that boat and they get to the other side of the lake.
[00:03:58]  You know what was on the other side of the lake?
[00:03:59]  I don't have time to go into all that except the fact that Jesus and the guys, Jesus and the disciples showed up in a place, in a region, and they brought deliverance to a man.
[00:04:09]  And it so impacted and so shifted the region that it caused such a powerful stir.
[00:04:15]  But I want to tell you on the other side of that promise and prophetic word, that assignment from God, yes, we have to navigate through times of chaos and crisis.
[00:04:22]  That's what we're in right now.
[00:04:24]  Don't give up on what God has told you.
[00:04:26]  Don't give up on what the Holy Spirit is leading and directing you to do.
[00:04:30]  And I pray right now for those of you, I'm just sensing that there's people who are watching and listening and you're thinking, Larry, I haven't gotten that word.
[00:04:36]  I haven't gotten a prophetic word.
[00:04:37]  What is a prophetic word?
[00:04:38]  I haven't gotten a promise.
[00:04:40]  I want to encourage you on this.
[00:04:43]  Just continue to love God, honor God, read his word, manifest and represent Jesus.
[00:04:51]  Be Jesus to your family.
[00:04:53]  Be Jesus to your friends.
[00:04:54]  Say what Jesus would say.
[00:04:56]  Do what Jesus would do.
[00:04:57]  That is you literally fulfilling your purpose, plan, and destiny.
[00:05:02]  And I believe as we do those things, the Holy Spirit gives us very specific instructions.
[00:05:06]  He tells us where to go, what to do.
[00:05:08]  But I do encourage you in the midst of all of this.
[00:05:11]  You know what?
[00:05:11]  Jesus said, let's go across to the other side of the lake.
[00:05:15]  So they set out.
[00:05:16]  I'll read one more thing because I just saw this and I don't want to leave the scripture out of context.
[00:05:22]  It says, they set out in verse 23 of Luke 8.
[00:05:25]  And as they sailed, he, Jesus, fell asleep.
[00:05:29]  A windstorm came down on the lake.
[00:05:31]  We feel that right now, don't we?
[00:05:32]  Just a windstorm coming against our nation, the nations of the earth.
[00:05:36]  And the windstorm came, fell down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger.
[00:05:42]  And you know, it says, as they were going, as they were on assignment, as they were going where Jesus told them to go, he fell asleep.
[00:05:50]  And I want to encourage some folks.
[00:05:52]  You've been actually being very obedient to the Lord.
[00:05:55]  You've done what he told you to do.
[00:05:58]  He hasn't changed his mind.
[00:05:59]  You're like, you love God, but you almost feel like, this is going to sound a little bit strange, but I feel like the Holy Spirit's saying, say it.
[00:06:07]  It almost seems like Jesus is asleep.
[00:06:09]  It's almost like, well, it's not like what it was in the early days of my salvation.
[00:06:13]  I love him.
[00:06:14]  I'm passionate for him.
[00:06:16]  But there are times and seasons, maybe right now is one of those where I feel like he's asleep.
[00:06:22]  He's distant.
[00:06:22]  He's disconnected in the sense that I'm not receiving all sorts of new words and revelation, that type of thing.
[00:06:29]  Now, there's a lot of things that can affect that, but for some of you, where your heart is burning for God, you're moving in the direction he told you.
[00:06:36]  Sometimes Jesus sleeping in this case is a sign that he is comfortable with your obedience.
[00:06:43]  In other words, you're going in the direction he told you.
[00:06:46]  There's a lot of people who have books of prophetic words.
[00:06:49]  They've got audios filled with all these amazing promises and they don't do anything with them.
[00:06:54]  And as a result, they leave very frustrated.
[00:06:56]  I want to prophesy right now to those of you who are actually doing what you believe God has called you to do.
[00:07:02]  You don't feel like you've gotten any new spectacular revelation or vision, but you're moving strong and steady in the direction that you believe God has called you to go.
[00:07:11]  Here's your word.
[00:07:11]  And I believe it's a word from the Lord for you.
[00:07:13]  Keep going.
[00:07:16]  I believe you're going to get to the other side.
[00:07:17]  And on the other side, I believe you're going to believe.
[00:07:20]  I believe you're going to bring, like the disciples and Jesus did.
[00:07:23]  They brought healing.
[00:07:24]  They brought deliverance.
[00:07:26]  They brought something that shifted a region.
[00:07:29]  And while we're in a time of nations that are shaking, and that is going to increase, I'm going to prophesy that also in the midst of shaking nations, would it be that the Lord's church, his people, would arise and they would also be responsible for a positive kingdom of God shaking of nations.
[00:07:48]  We're like in the book of Acts where we see entire cities and entire regions talking about joy.
[00:07:54]  joy of the Lord was in a city or a notable miracle broke out, a provocative miracle or deliverance happened in the book of Acts and a whole area, a whole geography either was saved or transformed or touched by God.
[00:08:08]  Let it be in the midst of Matthew 24 and these days that we're experiencing that we would see that simultaneously as well.
[00:08:16]  But yeah, the storm is beating against the boat.
[00:08:19]  Jesus is in the boat.
[00:08:20]  He might seem asleep.
[00:08:22]  Keep going.
[00:08:22]  He's comfortable with the direction you're moving in.

=== Conviction Fills Hope (00:42) ===

[00:08:25]  And if he's not comfortable, one last word, if he's not comfortable with your obedience, if there's areas in your life that, you know, are not pleasing to God, can I just encourage you?
[00:08:35]  God is not a distant or detached father.
[00:08:39]  If there are areas that he wants to clean up, believe me, I speak from experience.
[00:08:43]  He is very chatty.
[00:08:45]  He will let you know, listen to what he says.
[00:08:47]  He is not coming as the condemner.
[00:08:49]  He is coming as the convictor.
[00:08:51]  Condemnation brings death and leaves you feeling hopeless.
[00:08:55]  Conviction fills you with hope that, wow, I can actually partner with the Holy Spirit and see transformation in an area where I was previously experiencing bondage, defeat, etc.
