Jim Bakker Show - The Ongoing Fight Against Abortion - Janet Porter Aired: 2020-06-18 Duration: 04:48 === Seeing Breakthroughs Despite Racism (04:48) === [00:00:00] This is Brad new. [00:00:02] This is Brad. [00:00:03] This is new, right, Janet? [00:00:04] Is this the first time anybody's gotten to see it? [00:00:07] Are we looking at it? [00:00:08] It is. [00:00:08] In fact, I just got the preview copy in the mail. [00:00:12] And I don't know. [00:00:13] I felt like Mondo maybe got a pre-copy because when he read the news, it was like reading my book. [00:00:17] I actually have a chapter on all the things we just talked about in the beginning of this program. [00:00:21] A chapter that says, the dark web, the systematic attempt to silence our voice. [00:00:26] How what we're seeing is we saw it with Facebook where they blocked our heartbeat bill ads. [00:00:31] And we see Twitter as we see blocking the president. [00:00:33] We see search engine manipulations that can actually skew the results of the election. [00:00:38] In fact, we've got a Harvard professor, a former editor of psychology today, excuse me, and he, his name is Robert Epstein. [00:00:44] He was a Hillary supporter. [00:00:45] And he testified in the Senate and said that what's happening is the new marketplace of ideas is the internet. [00:00:52] And what's happening is it's being taken over. [00:00:55] It is now a monopoly of liberal views. [00:00:57] And we are being pushed out. [00:00:59] The sandbox, we're pushed out of this sandbox right now. [00:01:02] We build our houses on sand. [00:01:03] And what he said is that just the search engine manipulation alone could skew as many as 10 million votes in the upcoming election. [00:01:11] And I thank God for President Trump. [00:01:13] In fact, I dedicated my book to President Trump. [00:01:15] He said, we will win because we know how to win. [00:01:18] And if you're listening, Mr. President, we stand with you as well. [00:01:21] And my message to you is that the heartbeat bill is the way to win. [00:01:26] And what we're seeing is, even since we were on the program last, Laurie, we are seeing victories like are unprecedented. [00:01:32] In the last month of last year, we saw six heartbeat bills become law. [00:01:37] They passed in Mississippi, Kentucky, and Georgia, in Missouri, Louisiana, Ohio, as well as the Alabama full protection. [00:01:45] We're looking at a momentum that I believe is unstoppable. [00:01:48] And what we're looking at is a scientific solution. [00:01:52] While we want to protect babies from the moment of conception, they want to in New York and Andrew Cuomo and all these others want to kill them. [00:01:59] The Democratic Party, Joe Biden, they want to kill them until birth. [00:02:02] We say, look, at least we can agree that once we've got a detectable heartbeat, that that child should be protected by law. [00:02:10] And that's why we're seeing now 29 states have introduced heartbeat bills across the country. [00:02:15] And we're going to see them pass. [00:02:16] We were on a prayer call this week for two hours, part of a 24-hour call to prayer with people all over the world. [00:02:22] We had people from Singapore and Israel and Asia and Japan, all being a part of the movement to keep hearts beating. [00:02:29] It's exciting. [00:02:30] I've never seen a time like this in all my life. [00:02:32] And I'm telling you, we are seeing breakthrough all over the country, even in spite of this pandemic. [00:02:38] I'll tell you, one thing we saw is that there were states that closed their abortion mills because of it. [00:02:43] I remember calling our governor in Ohio and said, listen, you know, either there's a pandemic or there's not. [00:02:48] There can be no sacred cows in a pandemic. [00:02:50] So if you can't get your, you know, your hair cut, then you certainly shouldn't be able to get an abortion. [00:02:56] And so at least partially, they closed down in Ohio. [00:02:59] Texas did. [00:03:00] They wanted the Sixth Circuit for a time. [00:03:02] Also in Oklahoma, in Arkansas, in Iowa, and other countries, in other states, we saw a shutdown. [00:03:12] That is, I just think, a prophetic act. [00:03:14] The people say it can't be done. [00:03:16] It hasn't happened since 1973, but it just happened and it's going to happen again, this time for good. [00:03:22] Yes. [00:03:23] You know, now that you're talking, you're talking about the pandemic and the thing that was really on a downer side that was shocking to me was the $80 million that went to Planned Parenthood by the federal paycheck protection program. [00:03:37] Do you want to speak about that? [00:03:38] Yeah, it's appalling. [00:03:40] You know, it's interesting to see just the incredible double standard. [00:03:44] And thankfully, we've got some people in the Senate particularly that are fighting to get that back. [00:03:48] But I actually have a whole chapter about Planned Parenthood. [00:03:52] It's behind the mask. [00:03:54] It's greed and racism. [00:03:55] And Mondo talked about it in the beginning, about not just their greed and their bloodthirst for money, but it's also the racism that's at the stem of it. [00:04:04] Let me just read you a question. [00:04:05] Here's a question from the book. [00:04:06] Guess who said this? [00:04:08] We don't want the word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. [00:04:12] Guess who said that? [00:04:13] Was it A, President Trump? [00:04:15] B, Congressman Steve King, who they falsely accused of racism? [00:04:19] Or was it C, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger? [00:04:22] If you guess C, the answer is right. [00:04:24] So there's racism behind this. [00:04:27] There's a greed for money. [00:04:28] And they said it. [00:04:29] We not only want your tax dollars. [00:04:31] Thankfully, President Trump was able to block many of the tax dollars through the Title 10 funds. [00:04:37] There's still a half a billion still going to them in addition to this recent paycheck protection plan. [00:04:43] So we've just got to cut it. [00:04:46] What if we funded adoption instead of abortion?
