Jim Bakker Show - The Third Temple Can It Be Done - Dr Irvin Baxter on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2019-11-15 Duration: 03:05 === Cyrus, Anointed to Build (03:05) === [00:00:00] So I go into the prophecy of Daniel's 70 weeks, and we go through it carefully, but in a way that the average layperson can understand. [00:00:08] And we teach them about the prophecy. [00:00:12] And Pastor Jim, I'm telling you that they have all the furniture ready today. [00:00:17] And I asked Rabbi Haim Richmond, who is the executive director of the Temple Institute, I said, okay, Rabbi, I want to know something. [00:00:24] If your government calls you today and says, we just got a deal, build the temple, how long will it take you? [00:00:32] He said, we have estimated that we can do it within 12 months with modern technology. [00:00:37] The Bible teaches it will be done during the first three and a half years of the final seven. [00:00:43] And they have the architectural drawings. [00:00:45] I've seen the architectural drawings with my own eyes. [00:00:47] Is that why they've asked Trump to help build it? [00:00:50] Actually, Jews have asked Trump to please help us build our temple. [00:00:53] Yeah, because they compare him to Cyrus. [00:00:55] Right. [00:00:56] Cyrus, you know, in the Old Testament, when the Jews were down in Babylon, because they've been carried away because of their backsliding. [00:01:05] Well, Cyrus overthrew the government of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar. [00:01:10] And when Cyrus came to power, Jeremiah prophesied to Judea and said, You're going to go into captivity for 70 years. [00:01:17] And if you go willingly, I'll bless you in your captivity. [00:01:21] But if you resist, you'll be destroyed. [00:01:24] Well, listening to him preach was Daniel, three Hebrew children, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Mordecai. [00:01:32] And they went willingly. [00:01:33] When Nebuchadnezzar came, they were in their first wave. [00:01:35] Well, where did they end up? [00:01:36] They end up high in the governments of Babylon at that particular time. [00:01:42] Well, then, when the 70 years was up, Daniel said, I understood by reading the books the 70 years prophesied by Jeremiah the prophet. [00:01:49] It says that in the book of Daniel. [00:01:51] And he said, so I set my face to fast and pray. [00:01:54] And he began to fast and pray, and God answered his prayer. [00:01:57] You know the way he answered his prayer? [00:01:59] He got him thrown in the lion's den. [00:02:02] Now, sometimes we don't like our prayers answered that way. [00:02:05] Right, right, right. [00:02:06] But he got thrown into the lion's den, but just for one night, because Darius did not approve of this, but he couldn't change the law. [00:02:16] And so he comes down early in the morning and pulls Daniel out of the lion's den. [00:02:19] Now, Darius was co-ruler with Cyrus. [00:02:23] They were the ruler of the Medes and the Persians. [00:02:25] Well, if you've got a guy in your room that lived a night through the lion's den and you personally pulled him out, are you going to go introduce him to your co-ruler? [00:02:34] You know you're going to. [00:02:36] I am sure that Daniel met Cyrus and he said to Cyrus, Well, you know you're in the prophecies of our scriptures. [00:02:44] Cyrus said, Me? [00:02:47] Yeah, Isaiah 44. [00:02:49] It says, Cyrus, thou art the Lord's anointed, and you will say unto the house of the Lord, thou shalt be built. [00:02:55] And Daniel told him how that the temple was destroyed because of Israel's backsliding. [00:02:59] But after 70 years, we're going to go back. [00:03:01] And Cyrus said, Done. [00:03:03] All the Jews can go back starting tomorrow.
