[00:00:01]  People say, oh, you know, they translate things from the Bible that, like, oh, God doesn't want us to know this, or God doesn't want to know that.
[00:00:15]  And, you know, even like, above all, God wants you to prosper.
[00:00:20]  You know, that's not even in the Bible.
[00:00:24]  It's translated totally wrong.
[00:00:27]  Because, above all, God wants you to be saved.
[00:00:29]  But we take things, one little word that's translated wrong, and we build a whole doctrine on it.
[00:00:36]  Wow.
[00:00:37]  And that's why it's so important that we don't misunderstand.
[00:00:43]  Here, Jesus in Matthew 24, we'll go over there now because that's where I teach you a lot.
[00:00:48]  Matthew 24, Jesus himself lists all the things.
[00:00:54]  He answers the disciples and they said, what will be the sign of your return?
[00:00:58]  Well, it will be the sign of the end of the age, the sign when you'll come back.
[00:01:02]  And he says, here they are.
[00:01:04]  And he goes, it lists and lists and lists.
[00:01:07]  Earthquakes.
[00:01:08]  All these things he talks about.
[00:01:11]  And then he said, learn the parable of the fig tree.
[00:01:14]  When his branch is yet tender and putteth forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh.
[00:01:18]  And he means any tree.
[00:01:19]  He says it twice in different places.
[00:01:21]  He says, when you see the leaves, what do you know?
[00:01:28]  Summer's coming.
[00:01:30]  Spring blooms out.
[00:01:31]  And so summer's coming.
[00:01:34]  So he says, likewise, when you see all these things, which we're seeing now, know that it is near.
[00:01:43]  My coming is near even at the door.
[00:01:49]  We can know those seasons that God's, where he's coming back.
[00:01:55]  We can know that even the times.
[00:01:58]  We can't know the day.
[00:02:00]  We can't know the hour.
[00:02:04]  Because God's going to say, go.
[00:02:09]  And I'll tell you what.
[00:02:11]  He wants us to study to show ourselves approved.
[00:02:15]  He wants us to be aware.
[00:02:20]  Why do you think I'm such a fanatic?
[00:02:23]  I spent so, I spent, I was in prison five years and I spent basically five years in the word.
[00:02:30]  It changed my life.
[00:02:33]  I used to believe that we would never go through any trouble.
[00:02:38]  But as I studied the Bible, I see the rapture, the coming of the Lord takes place at the final trumpet.
[00:02:46]  And if that's true, well, he says it is, so I believe it is.
[00:02:50]  If that's true, then he's going to, you know, we're going to go through some things.
[00:02:57]  And that final trumpet is where it is in the Bible.
[00:03:01]  And we need to know that we're to be ready.
[00:03:06]  And so quickly, let me go on.
[00:03:09]  So he tells us all the things.
[00:03:12]  But then he goes and says, but that day and the hour knoweth no man.
[00:03:15]  No, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
[00:03:18]  So what have we done?
[00:03:20]  Here we go again.
[00:03:22]  We've taken one verse out of the place where it was written.
[00:03:29]  And we say, oh, we can't know.
[00:03:31]  So I'm not going to study.
[00:03:34]  I'm not going to prepare.
[00:03:35]  I'm not going to be ready.
[00:03:37]  I'm not going to be looking.
[00:03:40]  He didn't say you wouldn't know the times when the Lord's going to come back.
[00:03:44]  He said, but you wouldn't know that day or that hour.
[00:03:49]  And know not the angels of heavens, but only my Father.
[00:03:53]  But as the days of Noah were, then he goes right back.
[00:03:55]  Jesus, verse 37, then 37.
[00:03:58]  He said, but as the days of Noah were, so you shall also see the coming of the Son of Man be.
[00:04:04]  So he goes on to say, and he starts listening again.
[00:04:08]  More things to look for, as it was in the days of Noah.
[00:04:13]  They were eating and drinking and marrying, giving, and entered into that.
[00:04:17]  That's what it will be when the Son of Man returns.
[00:04:21]  So all of these things, wherefore, for you know now what hour your Lord doth come.
[00:04:27]  You don't know the hour, but you can know the day that you're living in.
[00:04:34]  And I want to tell you something.
[00:04:36]  We're living in the last days.
[00:04:38]  We are living.
[00:04:40]  You know, Jesus taught us every sign of his return.
[00:04:46]  And that means hour means hour.
[00:04:50]  It doesn't mean that we can't know what times we're living in.
