Jim Bakker Show - A Latino Pastor's View of the Border Crisis - Pastor Ramiro Peña on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2019-07-03 Duration: 02:44 === Open Borders, Hidden Suffering (02:44) === [00:00:00] It's complete and total ignorance. [00:00:02] And worse than that, the media is complicit because the media is guilty at a minimum of journalistic malpractice. [00:00:12] And I believe personally they have lost their soul. [00:00:19] Because the human suffering going on because of, quote, open borders and lawlessness is untold. [00:00:26] Children and women especially being trafficked. [00:00:30] That's right. [00:00:32] Money being laundered. [00:00:34] Guns being trafficked across, and drugs relentlessly pouring in and destroying our nation from within. [00:00:45] The drug trafficking, the human trafficking, the arms making our societies less safe, all is happening with the ease of open borders. [00:00:56] Without that vacuum sucking people up, we could put a barrier and stop that, then all the money that's being made by the cartels trafficking people and drugs stops. [00:01:11] That is what has to happen. [00:01:13] It's not a demonizing of people that are simply risking their lives to cross the border to do hard work for low pay. [00:01:20] That's not the issue. [00:01:22] The issue is the untold human suffering. [00:01:25] I'm a pastor in Texas. [00:01:27] I know well the suffering that's taking place because we have no barriers, no borders. [00:01:35] We have to seal the border. [00:01:36] I've been on the border with President Trump. [00:01:39] We've talked about it. [00:01:40] We've talked about the underreporting of the crime that nobody talks about. [00:01:46] The lack of safety. [00:01:47] And it's Hispanic Americans, Latinos like me, our people that are suffering the most. [00:01:53] And the media doesn't report it that way. [00:01:56] That's why, in recent polls, Latino support for President Trump is at 50%. [00:02:03] Wow. [00:02:04] Awesome. [00:02:05] 50%. [00:02:08] There's not another community that's more pro-life, pro-work ethic, pro-faith, pro-traditional marriage than the Hispanic community. [00:02:16] True. [00:02:17] That's a fact. [00:02:18] And so when more information gets out, and we have great strategies that I can't talk about yet for doing so, and it's rolling out right now, I think we're going to see the needle move even further. [00:02:32] And I think that the Latino people in the future will be used of God to save this nation and get biblical values front and center again and keep them there. [00:02:44] Praise God.
