Jim Bakker Show - Discerning God's Calling - Dr Lance Wallnau on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2019-05-20 Duration: 03:41 === A Seinfeld Moment (03:41) === [00:00:00] When did God first call you to be a voice for the church and for really electing the right officers, I mean the right presidents, the right senators or congressmen? [00:00:16] I personally think that it was when I started hearing friends of mine like Rick Joyner and you talking about where America was at. [00:00:25] Because like so many Christians, I just wanted to preach spiritual kingdom optimistic messages and focus on revival. [00:00:33] But I heard something in your voice and the way in which you had grounded it in real concern. [00:00:39] And then I started reading Dinish D'Souza and other people and I said, oh my God, I myself am part of the problem because as a preacher, as somebody had an audience, I was ignoring what was happening in the controversies of my country and the world in order to focus on solutions that are Christ-centered. [00:01:02] But I was having a conversation with Christians. [00:01:04] I wasn't affecting the world. [00:01:06] So the moment that I got called by accident up to a Trump meeting, and I came out of that, and I walked in, I wasn't supposed to be there. [00:01:14] It was like Kenneth Colpen was there, and Paul White. [00:01:17] And I actually was so, I got so insecure. [00:01:19] I went up to the doorman, and I said, am I on that list? [00:01:22] Because I thought there was a mistake made. [00:01:24] Everyone had a big ministry of something. [00:01:26] And the guy says, yeah, you're on the list. [00:01:28] I put you on the list. [00:01:29] I said, well, who are you? [00:01:30] He said, I'm the PR agent. [00:01:32] I heard you in a little meeting down there in Florida, and I made a decision right then. [00:01:35] If I could get you in front of Trump, you're going. [00:01:41] So I thought, oh, and so I'm in the meeting, that big boardroom, and Trump's talking, and there's, you know, Justin Franklin and the Kennedy Colby. [00:01:48] And I'm peeing quiet. [00:01:49] And actually, because it was new. [00:01:51] And I'm thinking, man, what am I, surreal? [00:01:53] What am I doing here? [00:01:54] And all of a sudden I get a kick under the chair. [00:01:56] And that PR agent says, you better say something. [00:01:59] And so he forced me to open my mouth and start talking because I was just going to be humble and just watch. [00:02:07] So I spoke. [00:02:09] And after I spoke, I got invited to another meeting. [00:02:12] And I was just speaking because I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of the guy that kicked my chair. [00:02:17] But all I knew was Donald Trump is a wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness. [00:02:21] I heard the Lord say that. [00:02:23] The next meeting, I'm invited to a Trump rally in Atlanta. [00:02:26] I go down to Atlanta, and I'm there, and it was like one of the, it was one TV program, but it had like a whole African-American, it wasn't BET, but it was kind of like they were bringing all the pastors up that were African-American, and they're all dressed so really well. [00:02:44] And then they see me standing along the side. [00:02:47] I was invited, and they said live on television, they said, oh, ladies and gentlemen, look what we have over here. [00:02:53] It's Donald Trump's number two man, Michael Cohen. [00:02:56] And they brought me over. [00:03:00] Come on over. [00:03:00] And I'm in front of the cameras now, in front of this audience, and I'm staring at thinking, what do I do? [00:03:06] And he hand me the microphone and say, well, Mr. Cohen, why don't you say something? [00:03:11] And I tried to clear my throat, and I said, I'm not Michael Cohen. [00:03:15] And it's like I had like a Seinfeld moment. [00:03:18] It was so embarrassing. [00:03:20] And I said, I said, Donald Trump is a wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness. [00:03:25] Thank you. [00:03:26] So I get the microphone back. [00:03:29] Right. [00:03:29] And I look at them all going, wrecking ball. [00:03:32] Next thing you know, everywhere you go, wrecking ball, wrecking ball, wrecking ball. [00:03:36] And I realized I may not have been involved. [00:03:39] I don't know how I got in. [00:03:40] I don't know how I got on.
