Jim Bakker Show - Why You Want To Be Famous In Hell Dr RT Kendall Aired: 2018-12-19 Duration: 02:39 === Famous In Hell (02:24) === [00:00:00] You write here that the Apostle Paul was famous in hell. [00:00:04] Yes. [00:00:05] Why would a man of God be famous in hell? [00:00:08] Oh, because he's given so much trouble to the devil. [00:00:12] You see, the devil was threatened by somebody like Paul. [00:00:17] And I would love to think that I'm a threat to the devil. [00:00:21] I would love to think that. [00:00:22] Oh, but you are. [00:00:24] I wish, I hope you are. [00:00:25] In my case, you were. [00:00:26] Well, if I knew I was, it'd probably go to my head. [00:00:31] I would love it if I were famous in hell so that I was a threat to the devil. [00:00:37] I think one qualification for being famous in hell is to be a soul winner. [00:00:44] And there are people that don't even think about winning the lost. [00:00:48] And you see, if you win a person to Jesus Christ, that means that one of Satan's has become one of God's. [00:00:54] That's right. [00:00:55] And then the devil now has your number because you've got one of his. [00:01:00] And so I'd urge people, when I first went to Westminster Chapel within a month, I remember asking the question, how many of you out there have never led a soul to Jesus Christ? [00:01:13] Well, there was one man, his name was Bob George. [00:01:17] He said, here I am, 60 years old, and I've never led a soul to Christ. [00:01:21] And I felt so ashamed. [00:01:23] Well, to fast forward, we eventually had Arthur Blessett come to Westminster Chapel. [00:01:29] Old man's carried a cross around the world. [00:01:32] The best decision I made in 25 years is to invite Arthur Blessed to Westminster Chapel. [00:01:36] He turned us upside down. [00:01:38] He got us out on the streets witnessing. [00:01:40] I had never done it in my life. [00:01:42] And I thought, if I preach the gospel from the pulpit, that's good enough. [00:01:46] And Arthur said, no, you need to talk to people one-to-one. [00:01:50] And I had never done it, but I started doing it. [00:01:53] And we started our pilot-like ministry. [00:01:56] And the first person to join us was that man, Bob George, who was so ashamed that he never led a soul to Christ. [00:02:03] And he learned how to present the gospel to people. [00:02:07] The last time I talked to him before he died, I said, Mr. George, how many people do you suppose you've led to the Lord? === Why Be Popular in Heaven? (00:29) === [00:02:15] He said, well, it's over 500. [00:02:18] Over 500. [00:02:19] He made up for lost. [00:02:21] I would say he got famous in hell. [00:02:23] So that's the idea. [00:02:25] I want to be popular in heaven because the decisions I make are not to be popular on earth, but to make me popular in heaven. [00:02:33] And then you become a candidate to be popular or famous in hell.
