[00:00:06] I will say that. [00:00:07] I will also say, in relation to that, we are right now living in the most prophetic time since the first coming of Jesus Christ. [00:00:15] And I will also say, since it is the most pivotal point in the entire Bible, and I will prove that from the scriptures in just a second. [00:00:22] But since it is that, the thing that is so devastating to the preaching of the word, that's devastating to the church, that's devastating to the spiritual condition of the world, is that we, Christians, have turned the Garden of Eden into a children's bedtime story and a color book fantasy mythology. [00:00:41] That's right. [00:00:42] We've turned it into that. [00:00:43] And we read Genesis 3, and it's written metaphorically. [00:00:48] Now, please hear me when I say that. [00:00:50] There was a real garden. [00:00:51] There was a real Adam, a real Eve. [00:00:53] We really did fall. [00:00:54] Look around. [00:00:56] We really did. [00:00:57] We really did. [00:00:58] And God really did bring down his judgment on this whole thing because of it. [00:01:04] He really did, eventually, just three chapters over in Genesis 6, push the reset button and said, it's all perverse because of what started in the garden and what continued right on through. [00:01:15] And since we know, once we connect those dots, we understand, oh my gosh, the Garden of Eden explains everything. [00:01:23] It wasn't a walking, talking snake that gave a woman an apple that caused everything to be destroyed and for the entirety of humanity to be on its way to hell unless they're under the blood of Jesus Christ and for the entirety of the creation to be groaning because it's fallen and it's corrupt. [00:01:40] The Bible tells us all this. [00:01:42] It wasn't that. [00:01:44] It's much deeper. [00:01:45] It was a ground zero. [00:01:46] The first terrorist attack in human history happened in the Garden of Eden. [00:01:51] Satan was the terrorist. [00:01:53] He was in the process of stealing and taking, killing, stealing, and destroying. === The Final Chapter (01:54) === [00:01:57] Jesus said that. [00:01:58] Everything God had done to take it as his own, to set himself up as the God of this universe, but particularly this planet. [00:02:07] The Bible speaks that the Antichrist spirit is all about that. [00:02:10] It's all moving that way. [00:02:12] And in the midst of it, God has been working and is working through the prophecies, through Israel, through the coming of the Christ, through Jesus Christ, through the birth of the church, through the infilling of the Holy Spirit, through the gospel being spread to the world, and to the ultimate restitution of all things. [00:02:29] And watch this. [00:02:31] So you open the Bible and Genesis 3 talks about the Garden of Eden and how it fell and its impact upon what's happening in the world. [00:02:40] Everything from that point forward explains what God's doing about it and where he's going with it. [00:02:47] And then when you get to the last chapter of the book of Revelation, well, let's take the last two chapters, 21 and 22. [00:02:54] When you get to those last two chapters, in most English translations, modern scholarly translations, you'll see little subtitles over the sections. [00:03:02] Now, that's not the word of God. [00:03:03] That's the translators. [00:03:05] They say, okay, we see what this is about, so we're going to give you a little hint. [00:03:08] In most scholarly modern English translations, when you get to chapter 22, you know what the subtitle is? [00:03:14] The Restoration of Eden. [00:03:19] And then when you read, you read, and the presence of God is there, and the presence of the Lamb is there, and the river of life flows from that. [00:03:27] And there is the tree of life for the healing of the nations. [00:03:32] It's always been about the nations. [00:03:35] Satan wants the nations as his own. [00:03:38] It all started in the garden. [00:03:39] It's going to culminate in Revelation 22. [00:03:42] This is the restitution of all things. [00:03:44] Ephesians chapter 1, verse 9, it says we now know what the mystery of God's will is. [00:03:50] It has been revealed to us.
