[00:00:00]  You know, we were born out of the Great Awakening.
[00:00:03]  But then there have been other things that historians have called awakenings.
[00:00:07]  And I love the Star-Spangled Banner, but the first verse is a question.
[00:00:12]  And if you don't sing the last verse, you didn't get the answer.
[00:00:17]  Does it still stand?
[00:00:18]  Yes.
[00:00:19]  So the last verse says, one of the lines of it is, praise the power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
[00:00:29]  And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph does wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave.
[00:00:34]  You've got to sing that song.
[00:00:35]  In my meetings, we sing the last verse.
[00:00:37]  So God made us a nation out of an awakening.
[00:00:40]  And then he preserved us a nation in other awakenings.
[00:00:44]  And those awakenings, we have the second awakening, the third awakening.
[00:00:48]  One of the great awakenings is this one.
[00:00:51]  And it began with the New York City prayer meetings.
[00:00:55]  Every awakening.
[00:00:56]  You don't need an awakening.
[00:00:58]  What case do you have to be in to need an awakening?
[00:01:00]  You need to be asleep or dead.
[00:01:03]  So then what would happen in the United States is they'd have a great awakening.
[00:01:08]  I mean, where the power of God was all over the country.
[00:01:11]  And then, backslide, you know, or get cold or go to sleep.
[00:01:16]  And then the people would start, God would move on the people to pray.
[00:01:20]  And the people would pray fervently and God would send an awakening.
[00:01:24]  And this is one of the most amazing ones called the New York City Noon Prayer Meetings.
[00:01:30]  And it actually began in a church that stood where the Twin Towers stood in New York City.
[00:01:40]  Yes.
[00:01:40]  And this is the story of it.
[00:01:41]  I tell it right here in this book.
[00:01:44]  And at that old Dutch church, which at one time there'd been a lot of, you know, just families around there, and they moved all away.
[00:01:51]  And in this area, it became more commercial and industry.
[00:01:55]  They hire a man by the name of a layman, but he's a man that known a prayer, a land peer, Jeremiah Land Pier.
[00:02:03]  And they hire him to, there he is, to get people to come to the church.
[00:02:07]  And so he goes out and knocks on doors in all this industry.
[00:02:10]  Nobody much interested.
[00:02:11]  He wears himself out.
[00:02:13]  So at noontime, he goes to the church and prays and he gets a refreshing.
[00:02:17]  He has a touch of God.
[00:02:19]  And so he said, why don't I invite them to come and pray with me?
[00:02:22]  So he printed up handbills and he said, maybe somebody else could get refreshed.
[00:02:26]  So he announces the first meeting on a Wednesday.
[00:02:29]  That's why we have Wednesday noon prayer.
[00:02:31]  At noon on Wednesday, come here at the church and we'll pray.
[00:02:35]  Prayer meeting from 12 to 1 o'clock.
[00:02:37]  5 or 10 or 20 minutes.
[00:02:39]  So the first day he goes up there.
[00:02:42]  He's all by himself for 30 minutes.
[00:02:44]  Then he hears steps.
[00:02:46]  Six people come.
[00:02:48]  The next Wednesday, 20 people come.
[00:02:51]  The next Wednesday, 40 people come.
[00:02:54]  It's not very long until the whole city of New York City, all the churches, all the people are having prayer all over the city.
[00:03:04]  The press gets a hold of it.
[00:03:06]  And they get hold of it in Philadelphia at Jane's Hall, and they have thousands coming out.
[00:03:11]  Even in New York City, they had to have prayer meetings in the theaters.
[00:03:15]  The churches, the theaters, everything were taken on by this prayer meeting.
[00:03:19]  And these prayer meetings spread all across America.
[00:03:23]  All across America, there was an awakening to God.
[00:03:29]  And then out of this comes an awakening that comes before, as a result of this.
[00:03:37]  And the power of God, the presence of God, was so strong in America that you could feel it out at sea.
[00:03:44]  A hundred miles out at sea, they'd come close to America, and God would come on the boat, and the people would fall under the power.
[00:03:53]  And they didn't know what was happening.
[00:03:55]  And they would radio in, send us a minister.
[00:03:59]  And all the presence, the holy presence was there.
[00:04:03]  And all of these, every one of these awakenings is the presence of God.
[00:04:11]  And not just the presence.
[00:04:12]  That's what happened in that prayer meeting when he was up on that, and the six people came and the 20 people.
[00:04:16]  When they got in that room, there was the presence.
[00:04:20]  If you don't have the presence of God, Moses said, I'm not going anywhere without it.
[00:04:25]  I just won't go.
[00:04:27]  But people have church all the time without any presence.
[00:04:30]  But anyway, my message to you and to us is: if we do what they did, we can have what they got.
[00:04:42]  Yes.
[00:04:44]  Yes.
[00:04:45]  If we do what they did, if we will pray, we can have an awakening to God.
[00:04:54]  We can have a presence of God in this country that's not just like a revival, but it's been prophesied.
[00:05:01]  People know it.
[00:05:03]  You know it in your heart.
[00:05:04]  I know it.
[00:05:05]  I've heard Brother Hagin prophesy it.
[00:05:06]  Sister Wilkins prophesy about it.
[00:05:08]  We have the seed in the ground in America.
[00:05:12]  We have the prayers.
[00:05:13]  I believe that if we can get people praying first of all, I mean, when you get down to pray, you're praying first of all for our leaders.
[00:05:21]  And of course, that's going to lead you to praying for America and praying for an awakening.
[00:05:28]  Yes.
[00:05:30]  We have to have it.
[00:05:32]  It can change.
[00:05:33]  You know, here's how things are going.
[00:05:35]  But just like God told Brother Hagan, you can change it.
[00:05:41]  This is what's going to happen if it's keep going on this way.
[00:05:44]  But you can change it through prayer.
[00:05:47]  And so we have authority as believers.
[00:05:49]  I teach a lot on authority as a believer.
[00:05:51]  I have written books about it.
[00:05:52]  I'll come back and tell you about that one.
[00:05:54]  Yeah, oh, you have to keep your little wife.
[00:05:56]  That little one.
[00:05:57]  I keep that in my prayer.
[00:05:58]  I sit up there in my chair every single day, and I take authority over that devil.
[00:06:02]  Yes.
[00:06:04]  And I'm telling you, America can be saved.
[00:06:07]  America will be saved.
[00:06:09]  America will know its destiny.
[00:06:11]  Yes.
[00:06:12]  And we will have an awakening to God.
[00:06:14]  Yes, amen.
[00:06:15]  And we will be one country, one nation under God, indivisible.
[00:06:20]  Yes.
