[00:00:02] Is it knowledge or what? [00:00:03] Is it knowledge that you have in your head? [00:00:05] Knowledge. [00:00:06] But he has. [00:00:08] I thought this was in your page 154. [00:00:10] Jim, here's your answer. [00:00:12] All right. [00:00:12] Dangerous soul ties to a political spirit. [00:00:16] Oh, yes. [00:00:19] Let me explain. [00:00:20] Oh, read that again. [00:00:21] Okay. [00:00:21] There are dangerous. [00:00:23] No, this is the answer. [00:00:25] There is a political spirit, and there are people who are soul-tied to a political party no matter what happens. [00:00:33] I've heard of it. [00:00:33] They don't care if they kill babies. [00:00:35] They don't care if they destroy marriage. [00:00:37] Come on, they don't care if they wreck up the Bible. [00:00:39] Well, mama voted that way. [00:00:41] Daddy voted that way. [00:00:42] We're fourth generations. [00:00:43] Yeah, it's a soul tie. [00:00:44] It's a soul tie. [00:00:45] And when you have that kind of a tie, it is the most difficult. [00:00:48] And here's why it's difficult to break. [00:00:49] Ready? [00:00:49] Because any tie like that is tied to emotion. [00:00:52] Yes. [00:00:53] You ever remember talking about soul ties? [00:00:55] Yeah. [00:00:56] Are you all listening? [00:00:57] Watch them get emotional. [00:00:58] Is it sound noise? [00:00:59] Watch them on the news. [00:01:00] Oh, we do. [00:01:01] No, watch them on the news get emotional. [00:01:03] If somebody comes on, they're crying. [00:01:05] If somebody comes on and says, well, you know, there's a North Korean deal. [00:01:07] Well, I'm just going to tell you what, working with a dictator ain't going to. [00:01:10] I mean, if you watch the left, pay attention. [00:01:12] The conservatives are sitting there keeping their calm, and the left is screaming, foaming at the mouth, beating the table, looking around. [00:01:20] Why? [00:01:21] Because one group is rationally comparing and say, okay, let's compare what's happened then to now. [00:01:26] The economy is up, better jobs. [00:01:28] There's something going on. [00:01:29] But the other side is so tied to that side, and if they're tied to that side, it is impossible for them to agree with anything good. [00:01:38] I mean, the man could get up and walk on water, raise somebody from the dead, and they're going to say, he's a false prophet. [00:01:45] Right. [00:01:45] Yep. [00:01:46] That's what they did to Jesus. [00:01:47] that's what they did to jesus see see the pharisees i understand No, the Pharisees had a soul tie. [00:01:55] I mean, the Pharisees had a soul tie to the Romans. [00:01:58] Because when Jesus came, they make this statement. [00:02:00] We better deal with him because the Romans will come and take our position and take our city. [00:02:07] And they thought, Jesus, if he raises up too many people, the common people are going to raise up a few people. [00:02:10] They're going to takes in money. [00:02:12] Absolutely. [00:02:13] Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedy. === Ronald Reagan's Wisdom (01:32) === [00:02:21] Oh, is that good? [00:02:22] Yeah, that's Ernest Ben. [00:02:24] Listen to this. [00:02:24] Henry Carter VII said, the problem with political jokes is they get elected. [00:02:29] Oh. [00:02:30] Ronald Reagan, your buddy Ronald Reagan. [00:02:32] Politics is not a bad profession. [00:02:34] If you succeed, there are many rewards. [00:02:36] If you disgrace yourself, you can always write a book. [00:02:40] Yes, people. [00:02:41] Reagan said this. [00:02:42] Listen to this. [00:02:44] Reagan said, politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. [00:02:48] I have come to realize that it bears close resemblance to the first. [00:02:54] Bob Edwards said, now I know what a statesman is. [00:02:57] He's a dead politician. [00:02:59] We need more statesmen. [00:03:03] Frank Dane said, get all the fools on your side and you can be elected to anything. [00:03:07] Right. [00:03:08] Then Jay Leno made this statement. [00:03:11] If God had wanted us to vote, he would have given us candidates. [00:03:18] But in all seriousness, I have seen Christians, and I would say to them, they had voted maybe a candidate that I knew was pro-abortion. [00:03:27] I knew that they did not stand with traditional marriage. [00:03:30] And I would say to them, I want to ask you an honest question. [00:03:32] Be very honest with me. [00:03:33] I just want to ask, how can you do this? [00:03:36] And here's what their excuse is. [00:03:39] Socially, I disagree with them. [00:03:43] But politically, they represent my family's party.
