Jim Bakker Show - Meeting Trump For The First Time - Dr. Stephen E. Strang Aired: 2018-02-26 Duration: 02:03 === Interviewing Donald Trump (02:03) === [00:00:00] What was the feeling like when you sat in Trump's presence and interviewed him for the first time? [00:00:06] What did you do? [00:00:07] I was very, very nervous. [00:00:08] Me? [00:00:09] I would too. [00:00:10] And I had my questions written. [00:00:12] There's your picture. [00:00:14] That's right. [00:00:15] And you can see he's 6'3 and I'm 5'8. [00:00:20] I didn't really know if he was that big. [00:00:22] I mean, on TV, you don't always have a perspective. [00:00:24] And next to Alvita, he must be like even like this. [00:00:29] Yes, sir. [00:00:30] But I had interviewed him in a kind of a back, you know, kind of, it wasn't really a green room, but, you know, back at a convention center. [00:00:37] Right. [00:00:38] And CBN had interviewed him right before me. [00:00:40] I wanted to get my questions right. [00:00:42] And I'd never really told anybody until that DVD this story. [00:00:46] But I know Governor Huckabee well enough to have his email address. [00:00:51] And I don't email him very often, but when it's important, and I told him I had an interview with Donald Trump. [00:00:56] He was supporting Donald Trump at that point. [00:00:58] Could you give me some suggestions? [00:01:00] Well, guess what? [00:01:00] My first three questions came from Mike Huckabee. [00:01:03] Of course, I didn't tell anyone. [00:01:05] And I also asked, I thought, oh, this is a good idea. [00:01:09] So I had occasion to talk to Kenneth Copeland, and he gave me a couple of questions, too. [00:01:13] So we went right through the questions. [00:01:14] I had my paper. [00:01:16] I read it word for word. [00:01:17] I wasn't sure I'd say it right. [00:01:19] He was very gracious. [00:01:21] We recorded it. [00:01:22] We did it as a podcast. [00:01:23] People can go on charismapodcastnetwork.com and listen to it. [00:01:27] And I had occasion to listen to it recently, and he was actually fairly soft-spoken. [00:01:33] He seemed very sincere. [00:01:34] He did not seem arrogant at all. [00:01:36] I was a little bit surprised because, you know, you see him on TV and at the rallies and everything else. [00:01:41] But he's a really nice guy. [00:01:42] And, you know, that picture that you showed, I had told, I took two staff with me and I told him, we only have 10 minutes. [00:01:49] We're not going to waste time with pictures. [00:01:51] But we got done a minute or two early and he said, you want a picture with us? [00:01:54] Well, I'm glad he said that. [00:01:57] Why did he say that? [00:01:57] He didn't have to. [00:01:58] No. [00:01:59] He could have gone on to whatever it was. [00:02:00] He just did it to be nice. [00:02:02] And I don't think it was just me.
