[00:00:00]  Do you know, I have heard more than one prophetic person tell me that God told them that if he came back today, not even 10% of the church would be ready for his coming.
[00:00:15]  And that fits into something I put in my book on the parable of the ten virgins.
[00:00:22]  I'm just looking at your book, John, as I'm listening to you too at the same time.
[00:00:26]  And I see that right here.
[00:00:28]  Yes, the parable of the ten virgins.
[00:00:30]  Five were wise and five were foolish.
[00:00:33]  And the five that were wise, it said that they had oil in their lamps.
[00:00:40]  And the five that were foolish, some people read it and say they ran out of oil, but if you read it carefully, they didn't even have any oil.
[00:00:48]  And they want to borrow oil from the five wise.
[00:00:51]  And they said, no, we only have enough for ourselves.
[00:00:54]  Now, do you know oil can be symbolic of food or it can be symbolic of the Holy Spirit.
[00:01:00]  And in this case, I believe it's symbolic of the Holy Spirit.
[00:01:04]  Because you see, if you're not full of the Holy Ghost, if you don't have a relationship with God and have the power of the Holy Spirit, you're not going to be able to stand up to these days.
[00:01:17]  When they go and tell you that, sorry, you are an enemy of the state unless you recant your Jesus stuff.
[00:01:24]  If you don't have the anointing in the Holy Spirit, the oil of the Spirit, you will cave in and say, my tummy is more important than anything else.
[00:01:34]  That's right.
[00:01:36]  So these five foolish virgins, they did not have a close walk with God.
[00:01:42]  They didn't have the anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
[00:01:46]  So the ten foolish virgins, you know why 10 is important?
[00:01:51]  10 was the number that if you had 10 Jewish believers, you could have a church.
[00:01:58]  That was the number for having a church.
[00:02:00]  So 10 was symbolic of church or synagogue.
[00:02:04]  And five and five, that's 50-50.
[00:02:09]  50% of the church was ready when Jesus came for his bride.
[00:02:16]  And 50% that thought they were the bride of Christ got left behind.
[00:02:22]  And it's like, I could just imagine, you know, the wedding, supper.
[00:02:27]  I mean, it's a big church, you know.
[00:02:29]  And all those people are in there.
[00:02:31]  And the five, the 50% that were not ready, they're knocking on the door.
[00:02:36]  Let me in.
[00:02:37]  Let me in.
[00:02:39]  And I could just see this little opening open up.
[00:02:42]  And Jesus is peeking through.
[00:02:44]  And he says, I don't even know you.
[00:02:47]  Depart from me.
[00:02:49]  You workers of iniquity.
[00:02:51]  You know, some people think that if you confess that you believe in God and confess that you know Jesus and you confess, you know what?
[00:03:02]  Talk is cheap.
[00:03:03]  Yes, it is.
[00:03:05]  It's not enough that you know Jesus.
[00:03:09]  Jesus needs to know you.
[00:03:11]  Yes, John, that's so good.
[00:03:13]  And Jesus will not know you unless you spend some time with him.
[00:03:19]  That's it.
[00:03:20]  And that time with him is an ongoing personal relationship.
[00:03:26]  And let me, I've said this before.
[00:03:28]  Eternity is at stake.
[00:03:31]  We got too much at stake.
[00:03:33]  This is not something we can take chances with.
[00:03:37]  The Bible says that we need to be a living sacrifice, wholly acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service.

[00:03:46]  We have no other purpose for being on this planet.
[00:03:50]  That's right.
[00:03:51]  It's like the Bible says our life is like a vapor.
[00:03:54]  It is.
[00:03:55]  Let me tell you, you know, when you get older, you realize how fast it goes.
