Jim Bakker Show - Knowledge of Good and Evil - Pastor Carl Gallups on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2017-11-03 Duration: 01:52 === Knowledge of Good and Evil (01:51) === [00:00:00] What does it say in the book of Daniel? [00:00:03] It says, knowledge shall be increased. [00:00:08] So how can knowledge be increased? [00:00:11] This is the greatest, I think the total answer to that scripture is this survey right here. [00:00:22] And it says, you can research anything. [00:00:27] Yes. [00:00:28] So all basic, all knowledge, not all knowledge, but for us in normal people, this is everything you wanted to ask is answered in this. [00:00:37] And it's actually, I'm not saying this to disparage Google, but the Internet itself and the ability to search anything, your words, good words, is kind of like eating from the tree of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. [00:00:52] Yes. [00:00:53] Because there's the tree. [00:00:55] You can ask it anything you want. [00:00:57] And think about it. [00:00:58] I mean, think of some of the technology we have now with genetic editing. [00:01:02] And a lot of times people just freak out and say, genetic editing, that's horrible. [00:01:05] And I say, well, not really, not necessarily. [00:01:08] If it's in the hands of benevolent people, it could relieve a lot of human suffering. [00:01:12] We could, I've said this before, I think maybe right here, but I've said, you know, you can take, they're using pigs and they're implanting cells to grow human livers, for example. [00:01:22] Well, so now people need a liver transplant. [00:01:24] We can take the liver and then have a barbecue. [00:01:28] I mean, that's good. [00:01:29] So if all of this technology, this knowledge, was in the hands of good, there are amazing things that could be done for us. [00:01:37] But the problem is we live in a fallen world, in a fallen creation. [00:01:41] There's so much evil and people have evil designs on every new technological discovery that comes along. [00:01:47] So that's the problem, the knowledge of good and evil. [00:01:49] And, you know, the internet's kind of like that tree, isn't it?
