Jim Bakker Show - A Prophecy From Bob Jones - Pastor Mike Bickle on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2017-08-24 Duration: 08:34 === Bob Jones' Prophetic Ministry (06:26) === [00:00:00] In this new book, God's Answers to the Growing Crisis. [00:00:05] You've got to have answers. [00:00:07] You write that Bob Jones, he prophesied Psalms 27, 4 to you. [00:00:16] Can you tell us about that? [00:00:17] So it's kind of a set of steps. [00:00:18] Yeah, well, some folks don't know about Bob Jones. [00:00:21] He went to beat the Lord a few years ago in his 80s, in his mid-80s. [00:00:26] But for many years, had a very, very strong prophetic ministry and touched many leaders around the body of Christ. [00:00:32] Quite remarkable. [00:00:33] But it was 35 years ago. [00:00:36] He walks into my office in Kansas City, 1983, almost 35 years ago. [00:00:42] I've got this young adult church. [00:00:44] I'm in my 20s. [00:00:45] He's, you know, about, you know, in 50s, 60s, something like that. [00:00:50] To me, he was old, real old. [00:00:52] I'm 62. [00:00:53] He's younger than I am now. [00:00:54] But he walked in. [00:00:56] We have this vibrant young adult church. [00:00:59] We got lawyers and doctors. [00:01:01] We had 10 football players from the Kansas City Chiefs. [00:01:03] We had these kind of successful professionals that were doing great and doing awesome. [00:01:09] And Bob grew up in the hills of Arkansas and skipped a few steps of education. [00:01:14] And his language made that kind of clear that he skipped a few steps. [00:01:18] But he walked in my office, kind of the one old guy, because all of our people were in their 20s. [00:01:23] And I thought, sir, you know, I said, my name's Mike Bickle. [00:01:27] I put my hand out. [00:01:28] And he did not shake my hand. [00:01:31] He looked up around like that. [00:01:32] And I said, my name is Mike Bickle. [00:01:34] And he goes, he goes, yep, yep, this is what the Lord was telling me. [00:01:38] And I go, excuse me. [00:01:40] And he looked at me and he said, I'll just give you the snapshot. [00:01:44] It's a quite long story. [00:01:45] Like everybody's got a long story. [00:01:47] But he said, I'm going to tell you where you're going in the future and what the Lord's going to put in front of you. [00:01:55] And I didn't really, I wasn't really up for that. [00:01:58] He didn't look like the type that would give me an intelligent, clear answer about my future. [00:02:04] And he said, you're going to have 24-hour prayer with singers and musicians. [00:02:08] Wow. [00:02:09] Well, I went, uh, I went, wow. [00:02:12] I didn't go, wow. [00:02:13] Just so you know, I went, what? [00:02:14] Yeah. [00:02:15] And he said, you're going to have that. [00:02:16] He goes, number one, number two, he said, the Lord's going to move you from the wealthy part of Kansas City where he had all these, I mean, a lot of top young leaders, a lot of successful economically. [00:02:27] He goes, he's going to move you from here to the other side of town to this blue-collar community because Harriest Truman lived there. [00:02:39] And I thought, what are you talking about? [00:02:41] He said, because the reason, because Harriest Truman was an intercessor for the nation of Israel. [00:02:50] I go, that means nothing to me. [00:02:51] Wow. [00:02:52] He goes, and when you have singers and musicians in the years to come, you're going to be spiritual intercessors for the nation of Israel like Harriest Truman was a political intercessor. [00:03:03] I forgot. [00:03:04] He said political. [00:03:05] And I said, what are you talking about? [00:03:07] He goes, Harriest Truman was there in Kansas City. [00:03:10] And I said, well, I kind of knew that. [00:03:12] I had to stop and think about it. [00:03:14] He goes, he was the man in a singular way that God used to cause Israel to become a nation in 1948. [00:03:20] After 2,000 years of being out of the land, God used him in a singular way. [00:03:25] I mean, he used others, but Harriet Truman, and he was a political intercessor for Israel. [00:03:29] So God's going to put you next to his land. [00:03:33] Bob says, I said, on his land, and I said, okay. [00:03:36] And it's going to be a sign and a wonder. [00:03:38] And I thought, well, you know, our people don't really shop over in that blue-collar part of the God. [00:03:43] And he said, I promise you they're going to. [00:03:44] And he said, and the next thing, he goes, you've got to understand, he saw smartphones. [00:03:49] This is 35 years ago, nearly. [00:03:52] He saw smartphones. [00:03:53] And he said, I go, he goes, all over Asia, they're going to have unplugged TV sets in their hands watching the singers and musicians in Grandview, Missouri on Harriest Truman's property. [00:04:06] Wow. [00:04:07] And I said, and I'm picturing 35 years ago, unplugged TV set, a peasant. [00:04:13] He goes all over the rice patties of Asia. [00:04:15] I'm picturing this, you know, 20-inch TV set with a cord dragging out in the rice patties. [00:04:20] I go, this man is out of his mind. [00:04:24] I just looked at him. [00:04:25] He said, not only that, he says, when this happens, he goes, they're going to create an abortion pill. [00:04:32] And this is 35 years ago. [00:04:33] He goes, they're going to take an abortion, take a pill, and have an abortion. [00:04:37] And I said, sir, I mean, I'm getting annoyed at him by this time. [00:04:40] I go, do you know what an abortion is? [00:04:43] He goes, of course I do. [00:04:45] And he goes, I said, you can't have an abortion with a pill. [00:04:48] He goes, it's coming. [00:04:50] When you're singing on Harriet Truman's property and they're watching you all over Asia on unplugged TV sets, you will see it. [00:04:57] And he goes, and the other thing, he gave me a handful. [00:04:59] I will tell you one more. [00:05:00] He said, the homosexuals are coming out of the closets. [00:05:03] He told me this 35 years ago. [00:05:05] They will be parading in the streets with the support of governments. [00:05:09] And I said, you know, none of this made sense. [00:05:13] I mean, I was just, I was, that's powerful. [00:05:15] I went from being annoyed to perplexed to entertained. [00:05:19] I was just kind of laughing at him inside. [00:05:22] And then he looked at me and he said. [00:05:23] It's just like the president. [00:05:25] Nobody says they would. [00:05:26] You wouldn't pick the president to be the president, Donald Trump. [00:05:30] But you wouldn't pick this man to be the prophet. [00:05:34] Well, he had on, it was 80 degrees, 70, 80 degrees. [00:05:37] I don't know. [00:05:37] It was hot. [00:05:38] He had on a winter coat. [00:05:39] Yeah. [00:05:40] You said he had overalls on. [00:05:42] You said he had on high pants and a t-shirt. [00:05:46] That was an eighth grade. [00:05:47] That was way better when I met him. [00:05:48] He had overalls on and a winter coat because the coat was a sign. [00:05:53] He wasn't a fashion item. [00:05:54] Oh. [00:05:55] And he said, he goes, once with a T, I was born with a D, born again, I started seeing open visions. [00:06:03] Yeah. [00:06:03] Technicolore. [00:06:04] And I went, this guy is nuts. [00:06:06] It's true. [00:06:06] And he said, are you a singer and musician? [00:06:08] Again, 35 years ago? [00:06:09] And I go, no, no. === A Million Dollar Offer (02:21) === [00:06:12] Because I had no interest in this 24-7 thing he's talking about. [00:06:14] He goes, he goes, do you ever pray for Israel? [00:06:16] And I go, never. [00:06:18] Never. [00:06:19] He goes, do you have a connection to Asia? [00:06:21] Because you're going to have a big connection there. [00:06:23] And I went, none. [00:06:25] He goes, so you don't know anything I'm talking about? [00:06:27] I go, nothing. [00:06:28] He said, the Lord told me you'd be dull. [00:06:30] I didn't think you'd be this dull. [00:06:32] No, he did. [00:06:34] He said, he said, this is going to be work. [00:06:40] This is going to be work. [00:06:41] And I said, what are we talking about? [00:06:42] He goes, oh, God, this is going to be work. [00:06:45] And I'll just give you 90 more seconds and be done with the story. [00:06:49] 25 years later, 2008, a Jewish couple walked into the IHOP facility, a Jewish couple, and said, hey, we've got this 125 acres right on the highway on an interstate. [00:07:03] And today it's worth maybe $30, $40 million. [00:07:06] I don't really know, but it's right on an interstate, 125 acres in an area that's thriving, I mean, growing and economically and all these things. [00:07:14] He goes, we're going to give offer to you for a million dollars. [00:07:18] And it's worth a lot more. [00:07:20] And they said, just Jewish family. [00:07:22] He goes, we're not religious. [00:07:24] Our parents died and we want to honor them. [00:07:27] And we looked around your ministry and you got all these young families. [00:07:30] We don't care about your religion. [00:07:31] We just want young couples. [00:07:33] And he said, our family bought it, my parents, from Harriest Truman. [00:07:37] It was his property. [00:07:40] And so I'll get right to the bottom here. [00:07:43] This is. [00:07:43] Wow. [00:07:44] So I'm sitting in the room and they said for a million dollars. [00:07:47] And I said, we don't have a million dollars. [00:07:50] Man visiting me from out of town says, Mike, I'm an investor. [00:07:53] You're not going to believe this. [00:07:54] This never happens. [00:07:55] I have a million dollars liquid cash in my bank for three years because I always go from investment to investment. [00:08:01] I never have it liquid. [00:08:02] He goes, I'll give it to you tomorrow. [00:08:04] So we, I said, really? [00:08:06] So we bought the property. [00:08:07] Now, here's the catch, here's the punchline: is that the closing date was January 27th, 2008. [00:08:15] And when Harriest Truman sold it to the Jewish family January 27th, 1958, 50 years to the day. [00:08:21] 50 years to the day, Truman sold it to the family, the Jewish family. [00:08:26] They sold it to us. [00:08:28] And the man to the day, and the man that gave us the million dollars from out of town, he said, He gave it to you.
