Jim Bakker Show - Presidential Prayer - Paula White Cain on The Jim Bakker Show Aired: 2017-08-22 Duration: 03:20 === Six Hours of Prayer (03:04) === [00:00:00] Can you guys pray? [00:00:02] I know the world don't like praying, but we love praying. [00:00:05] You know, a lot of people, our president loves prayer. [00:00:09] I will never forget. [00:00:09] We were, oh, John wasn't doing a show still, so I went to the Kennedy Center for the Faith and Freedom, and I loved it because he went off script for a while, and he just said, let me tell you something. [00:00:21] As long as I am president, you will pray, and you can always pray at your football games. [00:00:27] You can pray in school. [00:00:29] You can pray. [00:00:30] And I loved it. [00:00:31] I was just like, you go, you go. [00:00:37] Whoever thought of making prayer illegal? [00:00:40] It's so important that we talk about this because what the other, what he says the fake news does not report is all the legislation that has gone in. [00:00:51] The 48 pieces of legislation, the things that have been passed that are funding a Planned Parenthood, the jobs that have come back to our economy. [00:01:02] The economy is better than in 17 years. [00:01:04] The unemployment rate, the 10,000 jobs that had gone overseas in 18 years that are coming back to America. [00:01:13] I mean, the absolute economic stimulation, all that is happening, the religious liberties and freedom, the signing. [00:01:20] People don't understand really well what, and this is important. [00:01:22] The Johnson amendment was not a pastor's idea. [00:01:27] None of us went to him about that. [00:01:29] So we were sitting in a meeting when he was campaigning, and it goes way back. [00:01:34] I've known our president for 16 years. [00:01:36] I'm sure we'll get into that. [00:01:37] But in 2011, to show you what I'm... [00:01:39] That's the next question, by the way. [00:01:40] Yeah. [00:01:40] Yes, sir. [00:01:41] To show you how much our president loves prayer in 2011, by this time I've had an extended relationship with him. [00:01:50] He calls me up and he says, Paul, I'm thinking about running for president. [00:01:54] He said, would you bring some men and women of God to really pray? [00:01:58] I need to hear from God. [00:02:00] Now, he wasn't saying, bring them around because I want to vote or I want this. [00:02:03] He said, I really want to hear. [00:02:05] So I brought about 30 friends. [00:02:08] You know, we went in and we just, we stayed for six hours praying, talking about God, praying, talking about where our nation was, praying. [00:02:20] Six hours. [00:02:20] This is back in 2011. [00:02:22] So the next day he calls me up. [00:02:24] He says, what do you think God's saying? [00:02:26] I said, I don't believe it's time. [00:02:29] I said, let's keep praying. [00:02:30] He said, me too. [00:02:32] Because he had to make a decision within 24 hours that affected some things with the network and some businesses that he was doing. [00:02:40] And so we continued to pray. [00:02:42] And he said, Paula, just have the prayer groups pray. [00:02:46] And what he was asking was, I really want to do what God has for me. === Jim's Never-Shared Anointing (00:30) === [00:02:51] And so many people don't recognize because I've been involved, whether it was from mayors. [00:02:57] You've been from way back from President Reagan and before. [00:03:00] And I've been involved through almost every administration that I was called on. [00:03:04] But it wasn't, it was for a photo op. [00:03:06] It was for a donation. [00:03:07] It was to get people. [00:03:08] It was for political reasons. [00:03:10] It was never genuinely, will you pray? [00:03:13] I mean, I don't, how do I share all this on Jim? [00:03:15] I've never shared this anywhere. [00:03:17] There's just an anointing to just open up here.
