God's Blunt Message
00:02:40
|
|
| But you know what God spoke to me in prison? | |
| He talked to me pretty bluntly. | |
| It was a pretty someday I wish I could tell you the whole thing because he was he said, Jim, I only brought you here to get to know me. | |
| He said, I brought you here because I needed time with you. | |
| You needed to get to know me. | |
| And he says, I want you to know me. | |
| You look so lovely. | |
| To know you. | |
| I want you to know me in the fellowship of my suffering. | |
| Do you get that? | |
| See, people will think that's an insult to go to prison or insult to have a situation. | |
| No, he said, I want you to know me in the fellowship of my suffering. | |
| Yes. | |
| He says, I want you one day. | |
| I was sitting there in the cell. | |
| I said, God, I'm in this prison because I was trying to help people. | |
| I was trying to build a ministry to win souls to Christ. | |
| But God said, you didn't hear me. | |
| He said, the love of money is the root of all evil. | |
| People change the word, change the theology, change the writing, change the meaning. | |
| And so he said, You go and look it up. | |
| And I looked everything up in the Bible, practically. | |
| Every word, every piece of the word in the Greek or the Hebrew. | |
| And the love of money is nothing but money, money, money. | |
| I'm not going to go into it, I'm not going to give you a lesson in Greek money, Greek words. | |
| But God said, You didn't protect the people around you. | |
| The love of money corrupted many people. | |
| Nobody wants to learn the lesson from the valley. | |
| You know, Jesus is a valley walker. | |
