[00:00:00]  What did you say to the dads at your church Sunday?
[00:00:03]  Let me just say very, very quickly, the attack on fatherhood, motherhood, family, womanhood, manhood, childhood, the attack on personhood is horrendous.
[00:00:16]  It is demonic.
[00:00:17]  It is ubiquitous.
[00:00:18]  It is global, but particularly in our culture, because America represents the largest Christian nation the planet has ever seen.
[00:00:27]  And the only nation that was predicated upon literally the word of God in its founding documents and among many of its founding fathers.
[00:00:35]  So Satan hates what we stand for.
[00:00:37]  And the bedrock of our culture is the family.
[00:00:40]  And according to the word of God, the man, I want everyone to hear this because there's a lot of misunderstanding about this.
[00:00:48]  Here's the illustration I use.
[00:00:50]  The man is not better than the woman.
[00:00:52]  The woman's not better than the man.
[00:00:53]  They have different roles.
[00:00:55]  They have different responsibilities before God.
[00:00:58]  But the two of them together become one flesh.
[00:01:00]  They become a team.
[00:01:01]  And that's how God wants it.
[00:01:03]  And the illustration I use is if my house is burning down, I love to see a police officer pull up in the parking lot, but I really would rather have a fire truck with lots of water.
[00:01:14]  Right?
[00:01:15]  If a burglar has just come into my home with a gun, I'm really happy if a fireman shows up, but I really want cops with shotguns there.
[00:01:25]  So are the police better than the firemen?
[00:01:27]  Are the firemen better than police?
[00:01:29]  No, they just have different roles.
[00:01:31]  And at different times, one becomes more important, but only because of their responsibility.
[00:01:37]  Does that make sense?
[00:01:38]  Yes.
[00:01:39]  So the Bible is clear that God gives first the responsibility of headship of the home to the man.
[00:01:46]  And if there's not a man in the home, then it comes to the woman, to the mother, if it's a single parent home.
[00:01:50]  No problem with that.
[00:01:51]  But the deal is Satan knows this too, see?
[00:01:54]  Yes.
[00:01:55]  And so his attack starts, I'm convinced, with the man.
[00:01:58]  Absolutely.
[00:02:00]  And the feminization of manhood in America, we know that.
[00:02:03]  The radical feminist movement, the radical homosexual movement, the radical transgender movements from the military on down.
[00:02:10]  It's infiltrated our culture.
[00:02:12]  It is demonic.
[00:02:14]  And it is Satan's plan.
[00:02:15]  And so I say to men, you know, manhood is not about the stature of a person or anything.
[00:02:21]  It's about do you have a heart after the things of God?
[00:02:24]  Are you willing to stand in the word of God?
[00:02:27]  I've got men in my, I've been in one church for 31 years.
[00:02:30]  There have been men in my church that have come through, and some of them I have sent on to the Lord, you know, because I've been there so long.
[00:02:37]  But I've had men in my church over the years that have been in wheelchairs, men that are paraplegics, and they are some of the finest, most godly men.

=== Telling God's Word (01:40) ===

[00:02:48]  People look up to them as men of God.
[00:02:50]  Do you understand what I'm saying?
[00:02:52]  I just want to make this clear, because if I say in our culture today, give me your definition of manhood, a lot of times people think of athletes and movie stars and gunslingers and all that.
[00:03:04]  And that can be, but that's not what the Word of God says.
[00:03:08]  The Word of God talks about a man after God's own heart.
[00:03:11]  So I'm just telling men in our country, especially in America, but around the world, listen, first, first, make sure you're set apart unto the Lord.
[00:03:20]  Make sure that you are a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, right?
[00:03:23]  Make sure you're right with God through Jesus Christ.
[00:03:27]  And then secondly, I tell men, listen, then let God sanctify you.
[00:03:32]  Let him set you apart in this world.
[00:03:34]  We're put here to be the salt and the light.
[00:03:36]  Let's be that, okay?
[00:03:38]  And so, and yes, and then I tell men, develop with the Holy Spirit's help, a courage to stand in the word, to declare, I come from a biblical worldview without shame, without shame.
[00:03:51]  I'm not ashamed to say.
[00:03:53]  Somebody asked me, well, what do you believe about the sanctity of life?
[00:03:57]  My answer is, I come from a biblical worldview.
[00:03:59]  I can tell you what God's word says, and that's where I stand.
[00:04:01]  That's right.
[00:04:02]  What do you believe about, you know, marriage, home, family?
[00:04:08]  I can tell you what God's word says about it, and I come from a biblical worldview.
[00:04:12]  I stand where God's word stands.
[00:04:14]  What do you believe about homosexuality?
[00:04:16]  I can tell you what God's word says, and I stand where God's word says.
[00:04:20]  Now, do you still want to hear the answer?
[00:04:22]  Well, what do you see?
[00:04:23]  So, people ask me all the time, what do you think about this?
[00:04:25]  Because the political correctness suffocates us, it sucks the air out of the room.
