God's People Under Judgment 00:04:26
The bottom line is, is that we are a nation under judgment, and God will deliver his people.
But people think that somehow God winks at our sin and then, you know, holds the rest of the world accountable.
And this is the hardest thing, Lori and Jim, that I've ever encountered in my life.
Why people do not understand the nature and character of God.
And by not understanding the nature and character of God, they absolutely make wrong assumptions.
The word of the Lord and the Word of God is what sets us free.
And the harder thing for all of us is to know this, that you have to, you know, and my advice to everyone who's got children, parents, uncles, best friends, is when you've talked to them and shared your heart with them and they still won't listen, lay them on the altar and go on.
Okay?
Because give them in God's hands.
Give them wholly with your heart into God's hands, and they will quit breaking your heart, okay?
And God can work on them.
God can work on them.
But he can't do it until you let go of him.
Absolutely.
He's a gentleman.
I don't understand this.
Well, here's the thing.
You committed to God, and he says, I will bring it to pass.
Have you ever prayed for anyone, dear, even some of your enemies?
And believe me, I got a lot of prayers in that vein, but the bottom line is that, and God says, you can't do it.
Let me do it.
That's the motto.
Let him do it.
Listen, you know, when Nehemiah was commanded, this is a great word, brother.
When Nehemiah was commanded to build the walls, he said, neither told I any man what God had placed within my heart to do.
You just do it, you know?
And remember, what was it, Sanballot, Tobiah, and Gisham?
Yeah, that's close enough.
The G guy.
And they threatened him.
They reviled him.
They absolutely destroyed his name, his character, and it was always, we're going to kill you.
We're going to do this.
We're going to do that.
And he said, grab your trawl.
Is that how you say a trawl?
You know, I don't know much about building the trawl and your spear, you know?
So this is what we truly are called to be warriors in faith.
And then there are people in this congregation that are warriors in the natural.
And they're crying out, they're praying.
God give us the strength, the ability, and the wisdom, and understanding.
If we as God's people will get behind those men and those women who know what's going on, are placed in that, that is our, I'd say, point of contact.
But it's by faith we're going to overcome.
And listen, here's the hardest thing I know.
You cannot expect an unbelieving world within the body of Christ to even have eyes to see or ears to hear.
I'm sorry, but they can't.
Because what's happened is the mainstream, what do you call it?
I call it the whatever, the church at large, the evangelical world that's denying Jesus Christ, that's denying the inerrancy of the Bible, that's fighting over this effect or that effect.
You know, they're trying to take an argument that's been solved years ago, whether it's the flat earth or whatever, you know, the current theme on the internet.
And God needs his people to recognize one thing.
Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord.
And so what David and Kim Langford have been praying about, you know, I kind of know what they're doing because they tell me, you know, thank you, David.
Thank you, Kim, is they're believing for a move of God in your lives.
I'm believing for that.
I'm believing.
And I want to say this.
We're praying for you, Jim, because look, it's no fun.
And I've said this before, but the voices, God will silence the voices of the skeptic.
God will silence the voice of the scornful.
God will silence them.
And, you know, there is a scripture that says, touch not my anointed.
Now, see, here's what people don't understand.
Everyone who's ever been blessed on Christian TV has been blessed because he obeyed God, okay?
And it's amazing to me that people will use anything.
And what is the spirit of the age?
It's jealousy and envy.
Stand Against the Many 00:00:22
It doesn't matter because as the middle class in America gets more assassinated, squeezed financially, everybody's going to go after, you know, what I'm saying.
They want their kingdom.
This man's got a heart for God's kingdom.
When you take a stand against the many, David Langford preached today on the many, when you see that, that's not a good thing, you know.
